"Worst customer service experience I ever had at a pharmacy"
"Incredibly rude and lazy employees, each and every one of them with a enormous chip on his / her shoulders "
"While I think the staff is fine here (they didn't used to be; better management now than a few years ago), there are never enough of them, so the lines are always long and slow"
"UPDATED 12/22: Janette needs to get fired"
"I like this Rite Aid location (back in the 80s and very early 90s, it was a Thrifty’s Drugstore)"
Worst customer service experience I ever had at a pharmacy. I went to drop a a prescription earlier tot, they said it would take 4 days, a bit long but fine. Then they ask for my insurance information, I have it on my phone,(a photo of my card) the “pharmacist” then says rudely “this is for dental”, I’ve use the card at other pharmacies so she obviously has no idea what she’s talking about. Then when she realizes she was wrong and probably out of spite, she gives me some scratch piece of paper to write my info down (every other pharmacy I’ve been to will enter the info into the system for you probably realizing most people don’t know certain terms or what they’re looking for) when I asked her what the “bin” number was, she looks at the card then suggest I call the customer service #, (if she was about customer service she would have called herself just like that did at the Vons I usually go to, the only reason I didn’t go to Vons was my meds where on back order and they told me to check in each week basically they had no idea when they would have it in stock ) I was going to call the customer service # but decided I didn’t want to patronize a pharmacy that acts like customers are an inconvenience. So I went to the rite aid up the street off of Vermont and Hollywood and, boom, they were able to get the needed information off my card and the pharmacist put it in the system(it wasn’t that hard for them at that location so I have no idea what the problem was at this location) they had my meds and had my prescription was ready in 20mins. I’ve had other issues with this Rite-aid and will not be going back there, at least the pharmacy, ever again
Incredibly rude and lazy employees, each and every one of them with a enormous chip on his / her shoulders . This store is filthy and always out of stock of whatever you’re looking for ! You get the privilege of waiting in giant line with one cashier who resents his/ her job and the customer and goes out of their way to show it . And why do I have to wait 10 minutes in line to purchase a scoop of ice cream and then wait another 10 while they all avoid providing service . Where is the respect for the paying customer ? Who trains the managers in this store ? We definitely need some retraining for assistant mgr Rosa ! And employees need to be reminded that no customers equals no job ! Thrifty ice cream is among the finest , but I won’t be disrespected or insulted to acquire it! Rite aid forces its patrons to run a literal gauntlet to get a scoop of ice - cream ! There is no such thing as a fast easy transaction in this store - you gotta plan for a major time investment that will never prove worth it ! This is a business that takes its customers for granted ! Let the buyer beware ! Rite - Aid is the Radio Shack of the retail drug industry ! Good riddance- we won’t miss you !
While I think the staff is fine here (they didn't used to be; better management now than a few years ago), there are never enough of them, so the lines are always long and slow. What's worse, they now lock up all liquor, razors and other convenient items and there is no one to fetch the items for you unless you go to a cashier. Usually, you have to stand in line--for 15 minutes or so--and then tell the clerk what you need. She then locks her register and takes 5 minutes finding the item, frequently gets it wrong and has to try again--and all the while everyone waiting an eternity in line fumes... at YOU. This store is 1 block from our home and we drive miles away for just about everything, including prescriptions because the pharmacy staff is unfriendly, not very helpful, impatient and rude; they seem to think they're overworked when they're the only ones in the store who have it easy, because it's the only part of the store that is adequately staffed. We still go miles away to Costco for better prices and MUCH better--and kinder--service. Don't shop here!
UPDATED 12/22: Janette needs to get fired. For 2 years I've dealt with her horrible phone ettiquete and lack of accountability when it comes to her attitude over the phone trying to help sick people. Janette needs a reminder that she isn't entitled to her job and that her horrible manner is among the reason this Rite Aid has less than 4 stars. UPDATED: Rite Aid has made leaps and strides since my last review. They are getting better about filling perscription on time. However, PLEASE NOTE, I always have to call them to fill 1 of my 2 monthly perscriptions. If I don't call them to confirm the medication, most of the time, they wont fill it. They are now at a solid 3 stars.
I like this Rite Aid location (back in the 80s and very early 90s, it was a Thrifty’s Drugstore). Been here quite a number of times, no problems to report. But I've only used their pharmacy like once, maybe once. So I don't know how good their pharmacy service is here. The main reason I come here is for the Thrifty’s brand ice cream, so good, tastes just like it did back in the 80s. Second reason I come here is for some nostalgia, though the interior is quite different from how the Thrifty’s was. Third reason, for the reasons one usually goes to Rite Aid. If you like ice cream but haven’t tried the Rite Aid Thrifty’s Ice Cream yet, you really must try it!!
On Sunday my doctor call in for a prescription much needed ASAP. The pharmacist was so rude to the doctor and we waited an hour to call back to see if the prescription was ready and they just said that it was not ready and that they will give me a call back when it was ready. Waited two more hours and my wife called the pharmacist she was so rude too. And only then she said that the prescription was going to be ready in 5 minutes. We are moving our prescriptions to another pharmacy we don’t need them. They have a job because of all the people that trust in them. And this is how they treat us. Stay away from this pharmacy.
The Rite Aid at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Vermont Avenue has become my go-to shop when I am driving home and need to pick up ice cream, milk, cleaning products, liquor, and -- of course -- first aid and medicine. I appreciate that they have natural and herbal remedies. I also appreciate the helpfulness of their staff. I was once overcharged for an item and when I complained to the store manager, he apologized and quickly reimbursed me for the entire price -- and he was cheerful about it! This Rite Aid has professional and personable staff, good selection of items, decent prices -- and plenty of parking!
Just had to wait twenty minutes in mid-day! Didn't even get discounts indicated on two of my products. There was only one checker on duty, and she had two people wanting exchanges and refunds. She called for a second checker; no one came. Finally I didn't have time to wait for them to check for my discounts. I feel ripped off both money and time. Next time, CLOSE THE ICE CREAM COUNTER IF YOU HAVE TO!! Or bring out a manager to deal with a refund issue!
Are usually don’t write good reviews about pharmacists but this pharmacy for sure deserve a five star review staff and pharmacists are all helpful and accommodating some of my substance control medication when I go to different pharmacies they won’t even order it if they don’t have it in stock and I have to go to multiple pharmacies for that with this pharmacy always accommodating and they always order medication.
Slowest pharmacy in the world. Also terrible communication never answer the phone. My sister got meds prescribed and they didn't have the full amount but gave her a partial and told her to come back. When she did they said they couldn't giver her the rest and she neededd a new script. Why tell her she could come back and get the rest if she couldnt
I go here quite often. The pharmacy is quick if not over crowded. The staff in the store are kind and helpful! They say hello when I enter the store which used to make me jump and feel uncomfortable but now it’s ok since I expect it. I don’t know why lately rite aid stores are rarely in stock for frozen yogurt ice cream!
Different pharmacists/staff here give different info as to what my doctor prescribed / do not seem to read the doctor's prescription plan. General sense of confusion and impatience. Don't enjoy dealing with this pharmacy at all and will probably change even though it's the closest to my house.
Their pharmacy section is upsetting. Disorganized and the layout is bizarre. I’ve asked them for items multiple times and they will tell me they don’t have it or that it should be in a certain aisle. Then I search for it on my own and I find it in a different place then they said.
Its a right aid, clean, neat, organized and the staff was very helpful. They have a Thrifty Ice cream on the inside too. I was confused if they were open or not because there isn't a sign on the building (or at least wasn't when I went in) but they are, I promise.
My daughter's clinic sent the medical prescription at 11:30 AM, I went on to confirm that the prescription was received, and according to them it had not been received, I returned two hours later and that it was not ready, they stepped on
I’ve been a committed Rite Aid pharmacy customer since I was a kid back in New York. This location is so convenient to me, has great hours, the staff is very attentive, and they make getting rare products easy and fast.
The other day, I was concerned that the prescription I needed would be prohibitively costly. Fortunately, this pharmacy stores a wide array of drugs. From the bottom of his ears, a pharmacist thanks you.
OMG, shocked this Rite Aid is STILL here. I remember coming here back in 2008 when it was a REALLY rugged & ruff Area. Lot's of "Activities" used to go on here after Dark. …
Their pharmacy service sucks i went dropped off my prescription and they said it would be ready in 1 hr my huzband went 3 hrs later and its still not ready.. the need to get on that.
Rite aid has tremendous product line and value depending on the product. Now with that said, ask the person who checks you our if there are any coupons and be surprised, ✌ …
I love Rite Aid. This store is very Clean and easy to shop. The associates are very helpful. They have enough cashiers were you don't have to stand in line very long.
Pharmacy is overworked to the point they can’t even fulfill the legal duties of their jobs without constant / consistent badgering.
Just wanted to say this location has great service and is very welcoming when you walk in . People are very helpful and attentive.
WORST PHARMACY IN THE WORLD!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE...THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE...EVER! DID I SAY HORRIBLE? HORRIBLE
I prefer Rite Aid over CVS for sure. My experience is always positive here. It's not perfect but it is a good drug store.
so trashy. dirty. lots of missing basic items. high prices. bad customer service. long pharmacy waits. not run well.
I have come here many times over the years. Its always clean. Its Hollywood expect crazy people in the parking lot.
Absolutely avoid this place on Friday from around 3p to close. It's a madhouse. Otherwise, it's just a rite aid.
Un lugar a tener en cuenta, cuentan con todo lo necesario para poder brindarnos ayuda cuando lo necesitemos.
My local rite aid. Packed on Friday night and usually understaffed but I wouldn't have it any other way.
yesterday nov.16 the store was out of products empty shelves like preparing to close this branch
The service is fine and the staff are friendly but the restroom is so filthy and disgusting.
Always, clean, great costumer service, amazing sales, outstanding professionals. The best!
