We recently started going here after our previous dentist ‘fired’ us. We weren’t happy with some of the things going on, shoddy work, listening to her gossip about other clients, but most of all, the treatment of my children. I wish I’d known about this dentist years sooner, I could have saved us a lot of grief and fear on my children’s part as I’d have to fight them to go to see her. Now? After only a few appts at River Park Dental, my children are excited to go back. My daughter had an appt today and work was done on her teeth which our old dentist told her couldn’t be done, and that she was a drama queen for wanting it fixed. I have a VERY happy girl now, her confidence is back, and she won’t stop smiling and showing her teeth. I was told by my periodontist that Dr G was the best dentist in the city. I concur with that 100%. This clinic is not all about the money, they are about creating smiles and happy clients. I’d recommend River Park Dental to everyone.

It wasn’t until finding a new dentist that I realized how overpriced this one is. Last time I went, they managed to use up my entire insurance (for the whole year) and give me an additional $350 out-of-pocket bill. I left in tears. The only work I had done was a standard cleaning/checkup and 2 minor sealants, the kind that take about 10 minutes. Looking back at my past bills, they also always add on extra fees and round up units of time. They also made my late grandfather leave and come back the following week to finish his cleaning, because they claimed his teeth took too long to clean. I have now found a place that doesn’t charge about the provincial recommended fees, and they were horrified at what I used to pay. River Park South Dental still gets two stars because the hygienists were always friendly. Maybe if you have really good insurance and never have to see a bill it would be alright.

Both Dr. Goolcharan and Dr. Sankar continue to look after myself and my family with amazing results. Their personal service, education provided to patients and attention to detail is rarely found in similar practices. They walk you through the procedures and explain what is going to happen so you are aware of each step. Their hand-picked team always makes you feel comfortable. I have been through many dentists in my 50+ years and have more crowns than the Queen and more CAPS than a keyboard. Yet, there is always that anxious feeling when you visit a dentist. I have big anxiety about going to the dentist and have for years as I did not have great experiences as a child. Sasha Goolcharan is a rock star among dentists. He puts you completely at ease, answering any questions you may have about what he's doing every step of the way. Those needles for freezing? You won't even feel them and that's half that battle in my opinion. I won't go to anyone else unless I am in dire need. There is no I in Team and the success of River Park Dental would not be where it is without the hygienists, assistants, and staff employed. Everyone is friendly, outgoing and helpful. I cannot recommend River Park Dental enough! Thank you for making me feel comfortable enough to visit.

I have been coming to this dentist office for 12 years and have always been happy with the service. Myself, my husband, son and daughter all see Dr Goolcharan, he is amazing. Our son transferred from his childhood dentist three years ago and our daughter transferred just last year. It’s a 5 minute drive from home, our dentist is very knowledgeable, and will always try to save us money, all the dental hygienists are friendly and knowledgeable and both receptionists are great. I would definitely recommend this office to family and friends. In my opinion it’s a 6 out of 5.

I highly recommend River Park Dental. Dr. Sasha and his staff are the most professional team I have seen in a dentist office. He is very thorough with his work, he explains what he is doing and why he is doing it. I feel very comfortable and confident in his team, no matter how big or small the procedure. The receptionists are very friendly and welcoming, I always enter and exit with a positive interaction. If you are looking for a new dentist office, you will not be disappointed with River Park Dental.

Dr Sankar saw me 3 or 4 times for the same pain issue. Said the tooth i was complaining about was not the issue because it had a root canal and there was no nerve left. After suffering all summer in pain I gave up and saw another dentist. They quickly identified a crack in the tooth that was hurting and fixed it in one visit. How Dr Sankar was unable to figure this out during multiple visits is unacceptable. I wish I had gone to another dentist sooner could have avoided months of pain.

I received services from Dr. Goolcharan whom is amazing at his job. Definitely takes the time to get to know his client and what will work best for them. Made me feel like I was at home while in the office getting work done. Prices were super good, he worked with me on what could be done with my budget. He will try all options first before taking a major route that will cost a lot. He’s super nice and friendly, I’d definitely recommend this dentist to people going forward!

Dr. Goolcharan is one of the best Dentist around. He has always goes above and beyond. The service is great and his technique is exceptional and gentle. I have very difficult teeth to deal with and have had many different dentist as I have lived across Canada. I didn’t think I had bad dentist until I went to River Park Dental Center. Highly recommended. If I ever move away again I will fly to come back to see him. He’s that good. Five stars

With almost a 20-year history with Dr. Goolcharan, I can say he has been the best for me - friendly, caring, expert in his field, and best of all he focuses solely on what you need and helps to make it affordably accessible. He and his partners and staff do not up-sell trendy fashions to keep a client coming back - but have them if you want them! No matter where you live in Winnipeg, River Park Dental Centre is worth the trip!

Great place to go for your dental needs. Staff are very friendly and accommodating to my schedule with making an appointment. Dr. Goolcharan is an amazing dentist! So friendly and very thorough when seeing me and my husband! Gives great advice on dental health and also answers any questions I have. He is very genuine and kind :) The dental hygienist are great as well. I highly recommend going to this dental clinic

My visit to River Park Dental Centre was excellent. I’ve avoided the dentist for many years due to a negative experience at another clinic. I knew it was time to find somewhere else, and I’m glad I chose River Park Dental. Vesna was my hygienist. She was extremely professional, and made the entire experience comfortable. Everything was explained & the dentist was courteous as well. I will certainly be back.

Always a great experience at River Park Dental. The service, professionalism, and friendliness of each and every staff member that works here is phenomenal. I love that they also have televisions on the ceilings while you are getting your teeth cleaned/fixed. Makes me feel more comfortable being someone who gets anxious as a whole going to the dentist. My son has seen this dentist a few times, he is very good with kids but his fillings keep falling out and he had a mouth guard made that he said could be sized down once if it bothered him. Once we got it, it hurt my sons mouth. My husband brought him in to get it adjusted and then was told they don't do that. 1 for that since he only wore it once and 4 for the bed side manner.

Never fun going to the dentist but it sure does help when you are greeted by friendly staff, hygienists and a nice dentist. Teeth are great and my appointment is always on time. Made my 2 year old comfortable. The waiting room is clean and bright and parking is always available. Would definitely recommend this office even if you dont live in the area. Thanks!

I've taken my mother to that office multiple times, and the staff have always been so kind and patient with her. She says her fillings are done without pain and her gums and teeth feel nice after cleanings, and they don't have bleeding anymore when she flosses at home. My dentist is retiring and I will be switching over to this office.
