Park
"Just completed the Penrith Bridge Loop which takes in both sides of the river"
"Decent parking and some more across the road if needed, walking this western side of the river is mostly shaded in the morning and you can do the path or the parralel dirt track that is right next to the river"
"Love this walk, try to go up and do it weekly"
"If you would like to have a peaceful and relaxing walk, you can walk from the new bridge to the M4 bridge, over the M4 then along the other side of the river along Tench reserve up to the new bridge then back to River Road Reserve"
"A lovely riverside park"
Just completed the Penrith Bridge Loop which takes in both sides of the river. The reserve is great but could do with another bathroom facility on the Emu Plains side of the walk and a few of the picnic benches need a good mow. Cafes located at either end of the loop for coffee, drinks etc.
Decent parking and some more across the road if needed, walking this western side of the river is mostly shaded in the morning and you can do the path or the parralel dirt track that is right next to the river. Plenty of snakes in summer so watch where you walk and watch your dogs
Love this walk, try to go up and do it weekly. It's lovely over the other side where you can walk down on the dirt track. On extremely hot afternoons you can see lots of water lizards baking in the sun.. it's approx 7.2kms.. lovely for a nice stroll and chat with friends..
If you would like to have a peaceful and relaxing walk, you can walk from the new bridge to the M4 bridge, over the M4 then along the other side of the river along Tench reserve up to the new bridge then back to River Road Reserve. Allow between 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
A lovely riverside park. Not as developed as the eastern side, so you have a more natural feel, especially if you choose the gravel walk that meanders next to the river. Some facilities near the northern carpark, but little else along the walk.
A great River Walk from bridge to bridge toilet facilities both sides Possibility of seeing water dragons and so many birds Highly recommended.Prams and wheelchairs accommodated by walking on footpath but one can walk next to river
Good walking path, Restaurants and coffee ships
Playground
Working on a better playground etc
Restrooms
Good
Dog-friendliness
Dogs are allowed at these venues
Picnic area
Will be great when finished
Like many of penrith's amazing locations it is well under utilised and realised by the local council. What could be the prime attraction of the area has little to no investment in its potential.
Very nice walk along the river track and some tables. Not many facilities at the moment, as council is remodelling the whole park area, so there is some construction going on.
Grassed picnic area with views of the Nepean river and Victoria Bridge. The toilet block is closed but another toilet is available across the road at Regatta Park.
I liked the place. Only thing I regret is seeing those thrown away empty coffee cups and bottles. Makes me sad how few people are so careless towards environment.
Beautiful location. Great to take the girls for a walk. Crossed the bridge had a fantastic lunch and a cold beer at the Log Cabin. Nice couple of hours.
Ideal place to park your car if you are looking to walk the Penrith Great River Walk. The Victoria Bridge to M4 Bridge and return.
Lovely, peaceful place to hang out, walk and picnic. Beautiful views of the river. Plenty of sun and shade.
I love doing the Great River Walk. Nice to get away into peaceful serenity away from everything.
Beautiful spot on the Nepean River right under the M4 bridge. The image is towards the south.
Love the surroundings n views. Excellent walking and running options …

Nice place to have lunch, or just relax in a bit of peace and quiet.
Plenty to look at doing the nepean river bridge to bridge walk
Great place to come for a walk. Bring the family and the dogs.
Nice BBQ area and parks right on the river. Beautiful views.
Lovely place, I like the idea if having restaurants near by.
Much better now that the new share bridge has opened …
Nice place to go for a walk some wildlife kids loved it!!
Lack of parking due to construction work is a problem.
Lots of work going on should be amazing when finished
Great walk around the river about a 6km round track.
Nice quiet spot when the local bogans aren't around.
