It seems like nothing is ever open here aside from Dollarama, even when it's not a pandemic. It's far from the mall that used to house a Kmart and then Zellers, and an Eaton's store. I even recall the burger joint that was shaped like a carnival ride. Oh, the memories! It now has some good stores like a Pet Value, Food Basics, Dollarama, Chuck E. Cheese, a Shoppers and a Homesense, the rest are mostly services and mom and pop shops. There is a little food court too. On a busy day, this area is filled with area residents meeting up for a coffee or a bite to eat. There are other stores in the same parking lot like a Winners. I foresee this whole block eventually being redeveloped. As much as it hurts to see this city change from how it was in the 70s and 80s, this whole corner is obviously underutilized, slightly barren and everything is pushed back with little visual impact or appeal. It needs to be updated. This is a major intersection in the city so expect to one day see mixed use developing like condos, restaurants and retail, in the future. It's inevitable. This area could use some good restaurants and walkable spaces to attract more residents to take a walk on over. But it should respect the mixed incomes that exist in this area and not alienate anyone. It's nice to see people getting out, enjoying their community together, and socializing and you don't see enough of that these days at this corner. After-all, this area was once a thriving village. Would be nice to see something to honor that history here. Well this is the kind of review that you get when you let your mind get carried away. Cheers!
One of the cities older malls, quite small with a limited selection of stores. There is a dingy unappealing food court, a few nice shops and some which I struggle to understand how have stayed in business for quite a few years. The mall simply looks and feels dingy and outdated, it is long overdue for a makeover. Definitely not the mall to go to if you want to browse. It is home, however, to a great Homesense location. There quite simply is not enough parking. The lot is always close to full no matter when you go. And when a parking lot is tight, all those who tend to drive terribly, even recklessly, in parking lots are within extremely close proximity to you wherever you are. I have seen a multitude of car accidents in this parking lot over the years, more than other malls which I frequent. That all said, if you know that what you want is available at this mall, it is definitely a way to avoid the mayhem at Square One and just pop in and out quickly.
Small lovely Mall has variety of stores and great merchandise at reasonable prices that will make you happy you came there to get a good deal. Very nice atmosphere. Pleasant. Clothing store ‘Obsession’ has excellent selection of modern quality and great designed clothing, shoes, bags, hats and many other beautiful items. Service is always excellent. Shoppers Drug Mart, Home Sense, banks, grocery store, furniture store, many clothing stores and shoe stores, good dentist as well as other services. Winners and Rona are walk-in distance. Great selection of stores and services for smaller Mall. Parking is always available, especially on weekends is so convenient to go there when parkings in other Malls are packed. Very nice selection of food in a food court. Definitely worth visiting and shopping there. I always find great stuff there that makes me happy and my day special. Love this lovely Mall. It’s always fun to shop there.
Fabulous little local mall. They have practically everything you are looking for. Homesense, small and unique clothing shops, banks, grocery, a large dollar store, great carpet shop, hair and nail salons and more. Maximim Deals is an interesting discount store with piles of amazing deals. It's a local place, nothing like square one, or Sherway, and most of the shops are small businesses which make them unique. The shoppers drug mart is big and clean, and the homesense has a great selection - one of the better ones. Winners is usually a bit disappointing. There is a td/canada trust bank, cibc, pet store, cleaners, shoe repair, great ice cream place, and so much more. If you are looking for a quick shopping experience with tons of options, but don't want to deal with a big mall this place won't disappoint. But it IS old, dated, and could use an update. But, for a local mall, it's decent enough.
The Rockwood Mall has all the essentials you can ask for. There are stores like Food Basics for groceries and others for apparels, footwear, hair, nails, medicine, mobile connections, accessories etc. Daytime you won't find much crowd but in the evenings, yes, you will see the people in almost every store. I like going to this mall on the weekends, when you will find a lot of oldies sitting in the food court which lies at the center of the mall (behind Food Basics). The complex also includes Winners, Beer Store, and Dollarama. A good place to shop around and quickly checkout yourself, not only from the store but also from the mall. Huge parking space never troubles you for finding a free slot.
Overall not too bad a mall to shop at but just wish some of the vendors were way more pleasant, helpful and made my shopping experiences nicer. But you can find Dollarama, Shoppers Drug Mart, Pix Graphic Store, Food Basic, Homesense, Maximum deals, Winners, The Health Store. A couple of Banks, Pet Smart, Rogers, A couple of clothing and shoe stores and a food Court. Sometimes the service is just too slow and no one seems apologetic. Do they not value me as a customer and want me to return? After all we're giving them our business and making it possible for them to stay open.
Fashion, shoes, lottery, nails, jewellery, travel, banks, dental doctor, health stores, physiotherapist, banks. But no big brand other than home sense, winners and Rona. Food court has coffee time and some local food court restaurants. There is food basics as well. There is burrito, subway, Caribbean and wild wings outside the mall. But the mall is very clean as compared to the age of the mall. And thee is lots of parking. Sorry I forgot to mention chuck e cheese's and an ice cam store as well
I went here first time today to get passport photos done at this shop called pix studio. The guy was very nice and helpful, only 1 person was working, and it wasn't busy, I went around 4pm and the mall closes at 5pm, so you beat the rush. They had other stores like, dollarama, Fido, home sense, winners, food basic, carpet shop, clothing, bags, toy shop, home decor and much more. Its a good mall with decent shops for all of your needs. I would go again for something different next time.
Everything one could ever need is all in one place. Everything from a small food court, to a full restaurant, passport photos, dollar store, grocery, pharmacy and even a beer store. It is located at a major intersection so there are easily accessible bus stops around the mall. Parking is plentiful and there are en extra parking spaces behind the mall as well as accessible parking throughout. Great place for everyday needs and essential to the community.
I can't get around very much because of my back problems and leg problems! So this small is perfect! Not too big! Not too small! Just right for the older crowd to which I belong! I love going there because I know the stores very well! The staff is very friendly in all of the different stores! They are very welcoming! There are rarely an overabundance of people at the TD Bank, which I frequent, and so I love going to the TD Bank right there!
Love this strip mall.. it's been around forever and provides the surrounding neighbourhood with great shopping options. Food Basics for groceries, Dollarama and Homesense, Shoppers and TD Bank as well as the nails place and food court are all places we shop at on a weekly basis. Flower shop is great too with quality flowers. Our family has been laminating and getting passport photos from the small stall offering these services for year.
This mall has some great things and some basic things. It's pretty empty for a weekday when I went. The food basics has an entry way into the mall so that's great after doing groceries. A small dollarama is located beside it which has thr basic things. The food court has 3 or 4 options. Insaw a lot of seniors sitting and hitting which is nice they have a place to connect that's quiet. Homesense is huge here and winners is outside.
It's usually way to hot in this mall but I came in July 22 and it was actually nice and cool... Otherwise it's a decent small mall, there's a cheap clothing store that's cool and some small electronics booths an engraver.. all kinds of stuff. Decent mall, if you live close by worth visiting but not something to travel.for. OH and the grossest men's washroom I've seen in a long time! That's what caused the one star
Everything on the hand... dollarama has a lot of variety, l have never seen some things in other store that are available here. Moreover, food court is decent, banks, food restaurants and grocery stores makes it an all-rounder mall. Gym is a big plus, before I forget, Winners is just by the side. Perfect location and tremendous service by every cashier I have dealt with in almost every store.
Really small "mall". I mainly go for Dollarama, Shoppers, Winners (outside the main building), and once in a blue moon, Maximum Deals and Homesense. The Coffee Time has good muffins. I used to get my physio done at the PhysioMed clinic. The mall is never really busy, tons of parking. There are also random clothing stores, rug store, mini food court, and a furniture store.
This is another Mall I enjoy going to because it is not so crowded. The aisles are wide and it is so easy to go around. Though not a huge mall there are interesting stores that I frequent. They have my favourite stores like Home Sense and Winners. There are also discount stores, pharmacy, kid's apparel store, shoe stores, grocery store, fast food and much more.
Again, y'all know I've given reviews for this pizza company. This is a different location I tried, and honestly it tasted great, amazingly fresh was eaten right away in the restaurant! My colleagues who never tried or even heard of this business were shocked at the various flavors you taste, also the quality and quantity is amazing ! Keep it rolling Swan
The down-to-earth mall features numerous food stalls, groceries, a Dollarama, banks, Winner, a Covid19 vaccination centre, and numerous fast food restaurants. Chuck E Cheese is right next door for kids' casual gaming and birthday parties, and it serves pizza, chicken wings, fries, cakes, cotton candies, churros, giant cookies, and Dippin dots ice cream!!!!
This place has a little bit of everything. A grocery store, fast food, a food court. It even has small independent stores. They carry everything from games, luggage, purses, shoes, knick knacks and discount clothing. Chucky Cheese is also at the mall as well if you need to entertain the kids. A little bit of everything for everyone.
The mall is fine, has the basic stores. They do need proper or even larger signage outside for the traffic entering the mall from Dixie. Seems like a lot of drivers don't realize that traffic entering the mall from dixie road doesn't stop. Also, way too many pedestrians crossing/walking directly into traffic at the same entrance.
It looks old and definitely needs a little modernization but it’s a great local mall. It has all the stores you would expect in a small sized community mall including banks, home department stores, drug store and of course a bunch of small businesses (which sadly may not open up again due to the incompetence of our government).
This mall is not busy, very slow. A few people looking around. The stores are mostly empty. Food court have less than 10 customers. Security guards around walking and so on. Extremely quiet day here. Homesense, winners, Food Basics, and dollarama have a few shoppers but not much elsewhere. Ladies washrooms are very clean.
L & V Nails - Save your money and go elsewhere. Showed the lady the nails I wanted every few minutes I would show her the picture she said don't worry. Long story short I have these broad nails with rubbed off nail polish but paid full price and 4hrs later worse nails ever and this is the "good" hand! …
An older rundown mall but it has everything I need on a regular day. It's a long strip mall with a couple of stores on the outside and at the south end of the plaza. Huge amount of parking. There's a shady back parking lot area behind the mall with a couple of entrances there. Stay safe out there everyone!
I went to this mall usually, they have almost everything you want , food basics, Dollarama, toys store , food court , Fido , watchesstore , dental clinic, home sense, shoppers, Canada post , Td bank , and more , this place is good for families and everyone, I recommend this place strongly, thanks
I actually really love coming here! They always have great deals and over all it's a decent mall. Not as busy which is also nice They got a puma store, Nike clearance store, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, foot locker as well and it's all their authentic stuff just usually the season previously.
Alright. Old mall but has good stores. It's small and convenient. Has food basics attached to it, so you can get your shopping done along with your groceries. They have lots of parking and a few restaurants within the same plaza. Despite the layout being out of date, the mall is kept clean.
Nice mall. You find practically everything that You need. I found the best luggage at Winners. I was amaze by the quality, safety and their great prices. No prices reduced for a quick sale. Be aware of the provenance of your luggage. Double check the warranty . To be sure buy Canadian.
Very convenient place to get every from groceries banking pharmacy and other items like clothing. There is a food court too. Nice place to do shopping and relax too. Specially elderly people can walk around too. I got a very good deal with Fido today changed my wireless plan.
Surprisingly busy on the weekend or just seems to be as the parking lot is always full. Made up of great basic-need stores: Shoppers Drugmart, Winners, Food Basics Supermarket, Home Sense. Not my regular shopping ground but if I'm here most time I find what I'm looking for.
Pretty quiet mall...Not much there but essentials and it just seems to be dead at times. The mall is connected to a Food Basics grocery store which cool. Lots of parking on the east, west, and south side of the mall. I would compare this place to shoppers world in Brampton
Mall is ok but there is a clothing store where this woman sell her over price clothes so expensive. Rude as hell & she says her quality is so good but it's not. I bought a dress washed it once & it was trash. Winners quality is way cheaper and better. She lies a lot.
We went searching for the Food Basics they have a Marshalls they have a Shoppers Drug Mart they have a couple of banks add a Little Caesars pizza place is under construction from what I could see there is also a dollar store there and of course ample parking for all.
Love this plaza! There is so many different stores. There is so much to check out. There is an awesome discount store downstairs also. I got the coolest matching jacket and pants for less than $10!!!! Can't wait to go back to this mall and do more exploring!
I went to shoppers drug mart .I was not impressed. Big line up and only 1 cashier and my item scanned more on the register than it said on the shelf, I told them about the scanning code of practice and should it free, they wouldn't give it to me. I left
Convenient location but the parking conditions are dangerous and chaotic. Only use the burger King entrance when possible to avoid incidents with other equally-confused drivers. Also its pretty sketchy, both in quality and people in and around the mall.
Nothing exciting here. The mall is in dire need of revitalization. It's got HomeSense going for it, and that's about it. Uninspiring decor, subpar vendor, and yet parking during the day is scant. Unless you need to be here, you don't need to be here.
Visited village taste. Food was good, the restaurant was super busy, but no complaints on the line up or quality of the food. Only it was too hot Inside, due to over crowding, the management should think about adjusting then heat/cold accordingly.
I like this mall because it is not to large, but has a lot of good stores. You can find most everything for your every day needs. It is clean and well maintained, and a safe place to shop. There is also a food court for easy and delicious meals.
Many businesses on site. Well maintained. Huge parking. A lot of business are there including a mall in center. Usually a rushy place. Mall has a lot of other in-house business as well. Good place to visit and take care of your routine work.
Great quiet mall to go for treats (Bubble Tea from Real Fruit Smoothies is great! There's also an ice cream place and a little food court!), groceries (Food Basics is open until 10 pm most days), and other needs (Shopper's Drugmart, Banks,
My to go mall. Walking distance from my home. Shoppers food basic Dollarama. A very nice jewellery store vic collection. Home sense. Winners. Real fruit bubble tea .... And what not. Even a very nice restaurant Village taste is also there.
One stop place for you to get your Groceries, Fresh produce, tools, home decor, apparels, shoes, hair cuts, medicines, food, print outs and more. No big branded shops and kids play-area but always a great place for a quick shopping visit.
Lots of good stuff, I consider living near here to be very convenient tho the actual mall it self is kind of janky and a bit of a chill spot for the elderly but it's still got a lot of essential services like bank machine, groceries, etc.
The mall is unique in its own way. It has a lot of low end stores with cheap prices, decent eatery spots but seems to be attracting a lot of elderly people for some reason. Definitely a spot to checkout and get a feel for it yourself.
Love what they did with the 'Rockwood Mall' sign refresh, hopefully some internal upgrades happen because it is rather outdated, the mall is clean otherwise. Parking here during the day or weekends is usually awful and the main mall
This wall has tons of parking, has a good variety of stores and food options. It's a more lively mall than most malls would be, It has grocery stores available, pharmacies available and and service Ontario, making it very useful.
I wouldn't have called it a conventional mall, more of a strip plaza with a small selection of stores. It's one of Mississauga's less frequented areas. Nothing to write home about, but you'll get your necessities there.
A decent mall if you want to stop for an Ice tea or Shawarma while you check out for TD, CIBC, RBC, Dollaroma or Rogers. You can also do some groceries with food basics or buy furnitures with Homesense.
Basic mall/plaza with mainly smaller shops anchored by Home Sense and Food Basics. Recent facelift at two west entrances give a nice look and appeal. For banking you have TD and CIBC with RBC next door.
There is not a whole lot going on on this mall to be honest. There are a few stores that meme it worth the trip or Chuck e cheeses for kids entertainment. I've never encountered any issues at this mall
Awesome place to check with family in weekends. Friendly ppl at places we stop and shop at (as per my experience). My kids loved it. We willl come again (that's my wife's statement!) I strongly agree!
Like this mall but some stores are pricey but great quality. The rug store has good deals and Maximum Deals (downstairs) is another store with many products for home, bath & kitchen, clothes and more.
A sweet experience for young and old boys, a football field, some places for children to play on swings, a walkway, and some chairs to sit in. Generally a quiet and wonderful place
I like the customer dealing if jasleen. The way she explain everything in detail is just wow. I will recommend you to go to her if you have any problem. She is just too good.
Parking here during the day or weekends is usually awful and the main mall entrance on on the west side next to shoppers feels dangerous due to traffic during peak times.
Rockwood Mall is small but sweet. It has just what you need from restaurants to groceries to small fixx it shops,it even has a Dollar store and equipped with a washroom!
It has home sense in it. A nice coffee shop. A warm nice, sharwarmma place. A nice flower shop which is run by this really sweet lady. The TD bank's staff is amazing.
Can't believe chucky Cheese still exists. Not a bad mall just a little grungy. You can get some great deals here just don't leave your car unlocked when you go in
A reliable neighbourhood Go To for affordable food, groceries and home necessities. Can't go wrong shopping here. Safe and fun place to spend quiet family time.
Same old, same old Rockwood Mall. It is one constant in the ever changing landscape, and I prefer it that way. I hope their look and location neva change …
Not a bad mall to visit, for a smaller type mall, it has pretty much everything you'll need to do your typical shopping (Supermarket, Shoppers, banks, etc...)
I find this mall very old and outdated. It needs alot of things done to modernize it. In my opinion the best thing about that mall is the shoppers drug mart.
New store just opened called IN STYLE OUTFITTERS by TD bank entrance. Amazing fashion, friendly and helpfull staff. Also great prices and very nice quality.
Average small mall although recent renovation have definitely raised it up a notch- need more variety though too many similar shoe and clothing stores
This is a great little mall, lots selection for shopping and a great little food court. Parking is easy access. Covid-19 safety measures in practice .
Like to shop there. However, Dixie line bus is getting weirdos and not feeling quite safe past experience with a lunatic waiting at the bus stop.
Mall has covers almost everything. TD, CIBC & RBC Bank Dollarama Food Basics Shoppers Drug Mart Home Sense Winners And lot more small vendors.
Typical strip mall with Food Basic, Winners, Shoppers Drug Mart, Beer Store. You can pretty much find everything here, even small Food Court.
The bathroom on the north side is very messy. Look like those elderly customers championing to pee into the toilet from the door and miss it.
This mall have food courts grocery stores You can get prints/photos etc Food basics dollarama Winners and some local stores
Haven't been there for a few years they have updated the mall looks nice the prices has shot up but nice place to shop
All in one place. This mall had all the major banks branches available and food courts, fashion jewels and many more..
Low traffic Mall, have service Ontario not busy easy parking. kitchen Stuff is there for all your kitchen needs
Tiny mall not too many stores, half 9f he stores were closed, maybe because it was a Sunday. Small food court.
The Vaccine Clinic is located beside Winners. It’s very organized and everyone is pleasant to talk to.
Much different from when I was young and all stores have changed... Still a nice mix of everything....
1 handicap parking spot and it was taken...it was not even in front of Winners doors..3 rows over!!!!
Great place overall, this plaza has pretty much everything Winners, pharmacy, grocery, Chukie etc
Great mall. It’s the new location of Delta Bingo. Great mall for tons of stores and shopping.
Good mall, recently renovated and some great shops. Good parking, kids area and food court.
It has dollarama, good basics, shoppers, homesense and winners nearby so it's good enough
small little mall with plenty of parking and a good selection of shops and eating places
Not a great mall but has a shop with great deals. So worth going only for that shop
Super long hall to get to the bathroom. At least it seemed long. I really had to go
I always go to Home Sense. It has good selection of home furniture. Its my go to
They have some good stores and its near to grocery stores gas stations and more
Lots of good stores for everyday shopping needs. Busy parking lot so be careful
Enjoy shopping here for the varied selection of shops and easy in/out access.
Nice clean and easy to find what you are looking for… let’s keep our Malls
A good place to get you basic grocery items and some electronics and shoes
Found what I was looking for. It's clean and quite a few stores as well
Unsafe. Crime, fire-crackers, bike thefts. The sad end of a sad mall.
Boring boring boring too many random shops that carry awful products.
Variety stores extraordinary food court friendly staff in every store
Quite place with lots of stores to stroll around on the weekend.
very small mall but very practical when you need something.
Will it's my favorite mall. nice N clean all the time
Good place to go got what we were looking for
