"No"
Westwood Square in Mississauga stands as a cultural hub, home to a bustling multi-cultural community. A splendid mix of shops meets the needs of the locals, providing a wide range of products and services. From fresh local produce to ethnic fashion, there is something for everyone. The square's vibrant atmosphere is something to experience. At any given time, it buzzes with activity emanating from its food court, clothing outlets and grocery stores. Patrons appreciate the diverse food choices it offers; you can treat yourself to delicious Asian cuisine one day, and switch to mouthwatering Middle Eastern delicacies the next. The staff at Westwood provide warm, friendly service, helping patrons feel right at home. Above all, the square attracts people of all ages, making it a meeting spot for family and friends. Plus, there are ample parking spaces, which encourage hassle-free shopping experiences. In essence, Westwood Square is more than just a shopping mall. It’s a vibrant community epicenter that caters to the multicultural ethos of its surroundings and speaks volumes of the cultural fabric that is Mississauga. Visit once, and you're bound to become a regular!
The mall is good but a lot of retail shops are just opening and closing hardly sales most of the people do window shopping. the only proper sale happens is in food court that too selected restaurants gets business rest not, Banks offices are busy as they are corporate. Having a shop there is a big challenge unless and until your product is a need not a want. I suggest to the owners that keeping aside important outlets like banks and other successful retain shops, if the owners can consider constructing an auditorium with restaurants besides, it would be a great revenue generating place for them and also very convenient for the residents of the area and nearby to visit this place as it is close to transit and also shopping to freshco for needs of groceries andvegetables will also be taken care of. This area does not have any good auditorium that can host some events and also this area is largely occupied by South Asians who are very much interested in going to events like music concerts, dance recitals etc
Gone from bad to worse. Most of the stores inside are literally just large cubicles. Unless your looking for a haircut, your palms read, cell phone repair, or need immigration assistance(I’d be leery of these places) then everything you really need is on the outside of the mall. Don’t bother with Food Court there is actually nothing there. Getting in and out of the mall is a nightmare of car congestion. Now that Walmart is gone, parking a little easier in that area(now taken over by seagulls). People begging for money at the CIBC street entrance at Etude. Looks like a lot of homeless people hanging around the Freshco and the beer store areas. Property management really doesn’t take care of the place as most of the interior cubicles(stores) are owned so they don’t really need to entice new tenants.
Westwood Square is a Malton community oriented mall; it is a convenient location to obtain groceries and other needs for residents nearby. Most stores promote a diverse range of cultural imports, which is really beneficial for those who enjoy Asian cuisine like myself. The slate and modern renovations made my shopping experience more pleasurable. Despite all, I am reluctant to visit Westwood Square due to the cramped parking spaces. There is hardly any room for two vehicles to move on the same path, neither a descent parking allowance for vans, and constant traffic at the Freshco entrance from the main road. It is frankly chaotic and very accident prone. I can't count the numerous occasions when I choose to visit the Shopper Drugs Mart Etobicoke branch to avoid the madness.
No. Ugh! This is one of the worst malls in Peel, and has shockingly gotten worse since renovations several years ago. There are several outside areas at which there is loitering and rowdiness, and the parking lot is a nightmare, with blaring car stereos, and reckless and disrespectful, and downright dangerous driving. And while you might be inclined to blame patrons for all of the above, the fact is lack of actually-working security personnel, the poor placement of entrances, and the parking lot not having been redesigned for the increase in car traffic (and no accommodation for pedestrians, despite the mall being located in a busy inner-suburb), are largely to blame.
I've been going to the Shoppers Drug Mart for a long time the people inside are very nice very helpful when you need them the pharmacy people are great they're always on top of it when you need something or something to understand they're there they're always polite and always saying good morning and how are you I enjoy coming here to buy supplies and get my medication but overall it's one of the best Shoppers I've been on where the people are very nice and helpful even the one on Kennedy and queen is good I enjoy going there too they're exactly the same kind of people I recommend always to go to these two they're always polite and very helpful take care
Westwood Square Malton is known for its diverse range of retailers, particularly catering to the South Asian community in the area. The shopping center features a variety of stores offering clothing, accessories, electronics, home goods, and groceries. It also houses restaurants and food outlets serving a wide selection of cuisines, including South Asian, Middle Eastern, and North American. The mall serves as a hub for shopping, dining, and community gatherings for the residents of Malton and the surrounding neighborhoods.
I’m GURINDER SINGH GURI FROM_LUDHIANA(PUNJAB) India This mall is very old, there are shops for all kinds of things. There is 24 hours security available this mall has huge parking lot which is very few in other malls gym food shops mobile shops and roger fido sim also available. There are also barber shops, especially they pay special attention to cleanliness, so people like to stay in Malton. CIBC Bank, TD Bank, Scotia Bank and Royal Bank are available which are the most important.❤️❤️❤️❤️
From a relaxed shopping and leisure time spending place to become a busy, noisy, and over crowded this mall has come a distance. The international students from Punjab are making a big difference in the success of this mall. The uprise of Punjabi gangs is becoming visible in the parking lot. Improvements are noticeable with a decrease in visible gang presence, but traffic has intensified. Plan to allocate an extra 20 minutes for groceries check-out.
It's not a fancy mall but it certainly is a functional one. Its great for little everyday things, electronics and a wide variety and groceries such from Caribbean to South Asian. They also have some great salons and barber shops and a few clothing stores. As someone who lives in the area and doesn't always want to go to some big and busy mall, this place is amazing.
Dodge chargers and Jeep Wranglers driving up and down the parking lot, blaring loud music. They make the already busy and congested parking much much worse. When any young girl walks out of the mall, these driver whistle and call for the girls, even when the girls are with their parents. No class. The security nore police do nothing to these people loitering!
Good place not to much crowded. If want to repaire your mobile or mobile accessory that’s right place. Food court is very nice . You can purchase any kind of mobile phone service all companies sim sales shops here. And also to many staffing companies which are hiring new peoples, who comes new in canada must come here to many requirements full file here.
A decent place for most of your regular purchases including groceries, medicines, Canada post etc. Not so big to be called as full-fledged mall as there are no big showrooms or branded shops here. You get most of your regular activities and purchases done here. There is a Freshco and a good number of restaurants or eateries in this mall.
I will recommend to everyone, lives nearby for visit. If you need anything for your regular medication or all prescribed medications, you will easily get there. And one important thing, they never say out of stock for any product.. Guys you all are doing great work and continue it. Our best wishes with you all... …
One of the most crime rated place even not having cctv cameras outside near police station and I recommend everyone not to ride their bike, someone will surely steal it because yesterday someone also stole my bike as and side their cctv is damaged and police station also don’t have cctv cameras…… worst place I ever went…..
It’s a decent place within reach. But surely not a great place if you’re looking for a window shopping or brand lookups as there are no glossy outlets. The place gives you a feel of mass, the hygiene standards are kind of low, a low maintenance mall. Definitely not a place for kids, nothing much entertaining.
For all the shops it will be 4 stars but for the evening time rush is so pathetic. You won’t be able to get parking because there will be stunts going on in the parking area. High music in the cars no business at all moving from one point to another. You know what I am talking about if you already visited
This mall is small in size moreover it does not contain any brand specific jobs or anything else. It just look local shopping there. But;yes you can visit for other services like for any trouble with your smart phone Or anything else like that. Or you can just go to walk over there.
Dun Dun's Kitchen is the best Caribbean restaurant in the #GTA hands down. It's located at Westwood Square (Mall), in Mississauga (Malton). The food is amazing. The oxtail and fry chicken is the best. Don't forget to try the soup of the day. You will never be disappointed. Enjoy
Peel police a real joke with this mall. You have these guys driving back and forth thru the parking lot all day reving they cars and they won't shut it down. This use to be a good family mall. I seen 2 guys kissing in a Dodge charger this is no good for the community.
A supermarket where indians can feel at home. You will be able to get almost everything that you used to get in North Indian grocery markets. The prices are nominal as well, compared to other supermarkets. Was so thrilled to find Kurkure 10000 miles away from home.
This mall has many stores and mostly what I see is mobile repair shops. There are 4-5 entrances and timings are 10am to 9pm. Also nearby there is Westwood terminal for Mississauga and Brampton transit busses. Didn't had much time to have detailed review.
Lived in mississauga for a while now & never heard about this mall. This is not your typical mall, it’s like a community shopping centre. I went there because of the new Nigerian restaurant that just opened in the food court & left right after.
Great place to visit for shopping, grocery, coffee and food. Great offers going on for mobile connections. Variety of stores and gym. Easily accessible via public transport as well as lot of parking available if coming via own vehicle.
Had bad experiences more than once, boys driving cars around with loud music, not paying any attention or respect to pedestrians and you will always come across crackheads and junkies. Sometime they will come to you to trigger you.
Newly renovated, easily accessible and prominently located indoor mall, with all kind of stores, shops and kiosks. Has Food Court too. Banks, Doctors, Dentists and all kind of services available at the location. Lot of parking.
This mall is a disaster. So many tiny shops and so hard to find what you are looking for. Not to mention the parking lot is also a disaster. Watch out for your own car because no one else is looking where they're going.
Good shops. Best for Mobile repairs, Saloons, Indian food. AGs wholesale here you will get everything from clothes to electronics. Be carefully while buying an electronic items. Open box Items. All Canada banks etc
Lovely place for shopping and grocery. It has a Mall with many Tech stores and Food courts. Many stores for all types of food. Many banks and restaurants. Has wheelchair Accessible Parking and Entrance.
I just going to Westwood Square, everything you need can be found right here. I had my hair cut at one of the Barbar saloon, I'm so pleased, the restaurants and Scotia Bank staff very helpful etc
They have many resources like restaurants major banks and grocery/drugstores. It is clean, and has many things people need. It has everything according to the public and changes likewise.
It is not a well organized place nor doea it have well run businesses. It feels quite unsafe outside around the plaza in the evening. I would not recommend visiting this plaza after dusk.
This mall has nothing important all stores are about selling phones and accessories.. nothing for regular day shoppers no real brands its more of a Flea Market.. nothing impressive...
Westwood Square would be an ideal place to go to not sure of what to expect but I’m always in for a surprise and, I do not rely on her own understanding so I will probably visit soon.
In this shop lady Gurpreet kaur don’t have manners how to talk to customers. She don’t pay attention to her work always busy in arguments. In simple words challu lady bss luttdi a ……
The HIMALAYA RESTAURANT HAS THE YUMMIEST DISHES AND THE BEST GOAT BIRYANI I HAVE EVER EATEN ANS THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!!! So it's 2022 4 years later and the food is still amazing
better than it used to be back in the 80,90,s by far but they should have brought back a theater when they gave a face lift .that was actualy very cool when they had a theater
It's got a lot of places to shop from. The renovation was kind of a waste as there are barely any good shops. The shops are tiny and mainly barbers, electronics repair or so
Its a great plaza with almost everything available. Mostly common for Feshco and small businesses. You can get computer and mobile accessories at competitive price here
Went to Mr. Kane for some fresh juice for the family. As always the service is outstanding and the bleneds of juices is amazing. I recommend everyone go and try.
Waiting for a good grocery supermarket after Walmart gone. Really need a good supermarket like nofeills, gianttiger or anything else. This is neighbours demand.
I've been shopping at Westwood mall for many years likes mall it's great to go window shopping prices are okay now another store miss Walmart oh well good night
Very busy location. In the evening and weekends you may have to wait in line. Has transitioned to more of a South Asian community. Can always get said items.
There's a grocery store (Chalo - Fresh co), Liquor store, pharmacy (Shopper Drug Mart), Police station, Banks and of other venues, from salons to eateries.
Great Agency…helped me obtain a full-time position that suited my qualifications and knowledge. It also gives a lot of alternatives. I highly recommend it.
the mall has issues...BIG issues: walmart space still vacant, lots of drunks come to the convience store, their is a strange smell in the mall...
You can find cheaper products. And if someone is looking any service from scotia bank usually there is less waiting time than other branches.
Need any phone or laptop repaired, or do you need a new phone plan? .... visit Westwood Sq. There's are around 30 stores that can help you..
This mall has nothing but mobile phone outlets. It's more like a flea market, the only major store there is shoppers drug mart and Freshco.
I went Westwood mall terminal many times the bus service is very good there and i also went in mall tand my experience was amazing there
Service is not good. Pretty rude and unofficial staff. But still it's ok. Surrounding area so crowded. people doin unthinkable stuff
I was very impressed with the unique assortment. If you're looking for outside of the box, international flavour, try this place.
Westwood mall has cleaned up and reconstructed for the better. Westwood mall has come a long way comparing to the 90's. …
Sheer convenience. Transportation, parking, late night food and daytime stores and services including banking and remittance
High potential market for students, job seekers, Temp. Employment agencies, money changers and immigration consultants.
It’s been renovated & much better than before. BUT with depressed economy, many empty storefronts for lease-sadly.
One of the best plaza,u can find every thing.dollor store freshco, shoppers, mall with variety of food...many more
I'm glad they have a Freshco, banks, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Tim Hortons, but the parking lot here is horrible.
Every thing in one place but several store are vacant only fresco and Walmart are attractive to customer
All you want is mostly here. Just beware of the traffic flow in rush hours as it can get pretty hectic.
Crazy Busy area. But you can find everything in this mall. From A to z. Need lots of patience and time
nice experience at the mall especially at xtc! great service was provided and I was really satisfied.
It's good soo far. One lacking star is coz of the young youth bringing up their cars and messing up!
Good for shopping, groceries, food outlets, and many more options in a single plaza. Good overall
There are a lot of ships for different communities, but it is the best for the Indian community.
This place is like heaven . All people mostly good . Singh sabha gurdwara is god's holy home .
Very small and nice mall . I liked the Chalo FreshCo there. They have fresh and nice products.
It's ok to visit there most of the shops were electronics. Not so much options available
Food was hot. Good portion. Good service. It was raining so we had to eat on the car.
Not enough outlets.only local stores are there.I guess it will get flourish in future
No clothing stores. If You can’t do everything at one place it’s useless in a way.
Good variety of all kinds of shopping for a budget. Parking lots are crowded and
I feel comfortable until my exit went a whole bunch of people gave me cut eyes.
Only if you need to do banking, other than that, just stay away from here.
It's a good place but how many cellphone shops does one mall really need
All types of convenient shops along with many bank branches available..
Mobile shops also it has job consultant who helps students to get a job
Good one, you can find different varieties, many stores are there.
Near to my home and I can get almost everything here in this mall
