Forms must be filled out and verified, naturally!!! Patient Assistance Program is in place to assist low income families. I had to research this myself as neither Ron's Pharmacy nor New Haven Youth and Family Services offered this information. Even when asking for their guidance, council, and wisdom regarding situations. Sigh! ⚠️In our situation, "I FEEL", they did not have our best interest in mind regarding medication costs/situation. And here's why: New Haven Youth and Family Services, ordered 2 "Name Brand epipens" on behalf of son from Ron's Pharmacy for a grand total of $650.00. As I am disabled/on a limited income and the Dad is not in the picture, I found myself unable to pay this outrageous amount. So, I found myself on a mission! A quest! Equal to that of being caught up in Monty Python's Flying Circus. WOW!! Knowledge obtained during said quest... 2 Generic epipens would have only cost me $300.00. Still outrageous but, you get the picture. Why wasn't generic brand offered by Ron's Pharmacy. Why didn't New Haven Youth and Family Services request generic brand? You've been warned New Haven Youth and Family Services response: "Sorry, it's unfortunate it happened. There's nothing we can do. We learn from our mistakes and move forward." Ron's Pharmacy's response: "We're unaware of any such programs." *Extremely frustrating to work with! They put you on hold forever. They're "collection's person", P*****k, consistently laughed and giggled while trying to explain my situation. I honestly believe there was no malicious intent... perhaps nervous laughter, but still... very unprofessional and inappropriate. More than likely Ron's Pharmacy is giving New Haven some mighty heafty kick backs! Greedy little monkeys! If you made it this far, I pray you find the perfect solution for your unique and Special situation!! YOU are master of your destination! Your life *IS* the occasion! RISE TO IT!!! We've been using Ron's Pharmacy for years for our RCEF and their services give us peace of mind. They deliver even late at night within a few hours of receiving a doctors order. They are good at requesting for refills and making sure we receive the needed medications on time. Thank you!
