"It's a shame this is just a pop up"
"Love Rosanna Library! Been going here for past 5 years with my son"
"Great for all ages, excellent quality of service and help from staff"
"Nice local library"
"There's a huge amount of huge flies near the back windows which make it impossible to study"
It's a shame this is just a pop up. I miss the old building before it was sold to the corporate giants, Woolworths. I haven't visited the library in at least a baker's dozen years. What I have visited recently and will continue to visit frequently until the corporate giants, Woolworths have had their final say is the bushy backbones of my sanity and safety that is the rear of the library. Local swiggers and local bingers alike will know what I mean. Not a week goes by where I don't find myself in need of a toot. Unfortunately my bibliophobia prevents me from entering any library, book shop or church. When I find myself anticipating only a sip but ending up wandering the streets of Rosanna (where my latest flame dumped me) legless, I often find comfort in the bushes that back our beloved library whether it be for sleep of relief. What I want to know is what those corporate giants, Woolworths will do to accommodate my affinity to the drop. Where will I relieve my engorged bladder at least three to six times a week? I bet those corporate giants, Woolworths won't even answer this review.
Love Rosanna Library! Been going here for past 5 years with my son. We used to go to the storyline sessions run by Jane and Natalie - so amazing. Both ladies are just gorgeous. Friendly, helpful, lots of fun, great listeners and always willing to lend a helping hand and provide advice and recommendations. Looking forward to the rehab... long overdue. I mean you just have to go to the bathrooms to see an upgrade is well and truly needed (like yesterday!). Yep, the toilets are old hence a bit on the nose and during winter, it's like walking into a freezer! My only gripe (above rant regarding the loo's is completely out of their control, hence I'm not complaining here simply advising potential visitors) would be the fact you are unable to book a "quiet spot" ie: a room, so can use for work, study etc... To the staff at Rosanna Library, we love you all and appreciate everything you all do. Thankyou for enhancing our lives and the lives if every other lucky person who attends your service. Keep up the amazing work
Great for all ages, excellent quality of service and help from staff. The toilets are always clean and tidy. The library is always warm and welcoming. An excellent space for working, studying and relaxing. A computer bank is available as well as tables with plugin points available for laptops/mobile devices with a window view. Regular tables and comfy chairs are available to use at patrons leisure. I've enjoyed many great workshops, quiet reading and studying/doing assignments here. Added bonus of 3 bus routes and a train station adjacent and across from the library makes it very convenient for public transport users.
Nice local library. It is a bit small, but it works hard to cater to the community. They have lovely baby/toddler reading times that are very popular; during which there is reading, singing, and playing. Kids and parents love it. The library has a decent range of literature, as well as things like magazines and comic books. There are movies and music available for check out as well. There is about 10 computers for public internet access.
There's a huge amount of huge flies near the back windows which make it impossible to study. gross in general and they keep buzzing around. There aren't many other places to sit down at a table and study in the library
It sucks that they close at 5pm on Friday and Saturday. Sometimes it's hard to find a librarian to help. Overall it's not a bad library, good selection of books and the study/desk areas are alright.
there has literally never been a title that they didn't have! i also like taking my child to storytime here! very welcoming, all inclusive atmosphere and the staff are helpful and friendly.
Nice library and the staff are very welcoming. It could do with an interior update and a larger variety of books in the mental well-being section, but these aren't really major issues.
Internet are fast and free. Staffs always happy to help you. Easy parking. It could be better if there could be more seats with sockets. As a community library, it is good enough.
I came to print out a really important document and Annalisa who was the librarian was so sweet and amazing.. she went out of her way to help me out!! Appreciate it loads ☺️☺️
The library is closed at 15:40 and it should be open till 6pm. There was no notice on the website. Better call before you visit this library....
