Today I made the heart renching decision to have our family dog euthanased at this vet. We thought she could die peacefully at home, but watching her deteriorate so quickly was so hard to witness and euthanasia seemed to be the kindest thing to do to end her suffering, My experience with this vet was cold and distant, I felt he could of shown just a little bit more understanding and compassion of how making this decision was not only hard for me but for other members of the family, we are relieved our dog is now resting peacefully, she gave us a lot of joy, love and fun times, she lived a full life with us, she wasn't always the emancipated bag of bones you saw when I brought her in, not so long ago she was a happy healthy thriving dog jumping around waiting to get in the car and go for a drive, or come with me to work. So yes, to you I am just another pet owner with a dog that can't be saved, no amount of $ or testing for this or that would've brought her back. You knew that, I knew that when I brought her to you. But I suppose I wanted hope even when there obviously was no hope. Next time, & there will be a next time, when you euthanase another family pet, have a heart, the pet owners may not show all of their emotions at that time, or even choose to be there when she passes away, But trust me it's very very hard to make that decision for your much loved pet. The reason for the two stars is your receptionist seemed like a caring and understanding lady, with a heart....

Words cannot express how thankful we are to have found Dennis and his team. Our only regret is that we didn’t find them earlier. They made the last few months of our beloved and elderly dog’s life so much more manageable and helped us to cope with the impending loss of him. I cannot say enough about how Dennis made every step easy and comfortable for us to make decisions. There was no pressure, we were never judged, we were well Informed of our options. One thing that was incredible, and we had never experienced this before with any of our dogs or vets we had under their care, we never felt our animal was a cash cow for the facility. The prices were also so reasonable, when we needed to we never had to think twice to go in for a quick check as to how our dog was feeling. We believe this resulted in our dog having the least amount of suffering possible. Dennis and the staff are there for the animals. As much as they care for the clients, their priority is to give the best level of care to every animal that walks through the door. The first vet we have ever had in over 35 years that we felt truly cared for the well-being of our dog. Thank you again Dennis for making Storms last few months so much easier.

About a month ago we had to say goodbye to our baby Jasper. It truly was the hardest goodbye I have ever had to say. I am so grateful to Dennis and the ladies at Rosebud Pet Vet for the care and compassion that they showed to us and to Jasper the day we had to say goodbye. Dennis was so patient and kind, giving us the time that we needed throughout the process to get through it. I am also very grateful for the words of wisdom that he spoke. The guilt I felt was heavy. For waiting so long to take him in, and also for taking him in. Thanks to Dennis’s words I was able to reflect on things later and let that guilt go knowing I had done the right thing and the best thing for my baby. Thank you Dennis for helping us through that day and for giving Jasper the best possible care.

I can not thank Dennis and the team enough. Words can not describe how thankful we are that they were there for our Millie and Oscar til the very end.. on Saturday when our fur baby wasn't herself even though they were completely booked out they made time for us.. we never felt rushed there or that we were just another number.. Dennis always took the time to go through every possible outcome.. Dennis is truly one of a kind. We are so lucky to have someone like him to look after our 4 legged family members... truly thank you Dennis and your fantastic team.

I can't recommend Dennis and his team highly enough! We've had many beloved furry family members see Dennis and I wouldn't go anywhere else now. He is compassionate, honest, thorough and his fees are extremely reasonable. A fraction of the price of other vet clinics that charge through the roof and don't give nearly as much time and attention to your furbaby. And most importantly, Dennis and the team are really kind to the animals. You know your beloved pet will get the care they deserve at Rosebud Pet Vet.

We took our little pug to Dennis/Barry as an emergency as she was credibly sick and as a result they her put into intensive care. Their care and professionalism is overwhelming. Can’t rate this practice highly enough. Always kept us informed of the course of treatment. Their love for animals is evident and not the dollars. Even today with my little pug at home, we’ve had follow up phone calls checking on her welfare. Just can’t thank everyone there enough.

A lady named Jessica was extremely rude and had no customer service skills .I was treated very poorly by her. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome by her and she treated me like I was dumb and was snappy and passive aggressive with me while I was nothing but polite. She has a terrible attitude problem that must be fixed. It’s not that hard to show basic kindness, she clearly has a lot to learn. plus she didn’t even acknowledge my dog

Amazing vet. Only one I could recommend on the peninsula. Only one I could recommend my animals visit. Staff care and treat each furry (including the wildlife kind) like they matter. Unfortunately a lot of vets do not care if they do not make money from their animal/human patient. Not this vet. Could not recommend more highly from a pet parent and wildlife carer. Thank you.
