This location by far has very bad upper level management. 5/24/21 I walked away from this company because, they are very unethical in the ways they treat employees. They promise you that if you report unfair treatment to the H.R department that they wouldn't retaliate against you. Lies. The store managers receive the H.R reports and they handle the matters in their own person hands verses the advice given from H.R. Most of the companies African- American store managers dress like day labors and have no sense of business attire, they cheat there way through inventories they manipulate their mark out of stock process. And this location restrooms always are going out. The stockroom can't hold African American workers for more then a month without them quiting or walking out due to the 12 year veteran Spanish speaking stock lead who only chooses to work with Spanish speaking others. I did a 2 year bid in this place. My work that I did with my hands and mind here they had no value for. This company will allow good people to be trampled over by individual that only concerns are bonuses for their pocket. FYI.. somebody need to let the D.M, Zone director and Regional and corporate know that the boxes that are stacked to the ceiling are a potential fire hazard if that light bulb pops or spark in their stockroom there are way to many people back there for the environment to be unsafe. And put a water cooler back there it is a warehouse people need to stay hydrated. This is 2021 not 1738!

My wife just left Ross and called me extremely distraught. She purchased a dog kennel and a dog bed and other new puppy items because we’re getting a new puppy this week. Whoever was working the register didn’t take a tag off of an item. Mind you, my wife is carrying a large box and had a bag on her wrist. The alarm went off and an employee grabbed the bag from my wife and pulled with enough force, that it basically ripped her Apple Watch off. When she grabbed her watch, the face was shattered and the screen actually coming off. It’s from my understanding that employees are not to touch customers (yes there are those exception “super hero” employees), which typically end up leading to a lawsuit. I’m essentially posting this review, so that there is written documentation to both the store, as well as any lawyer I may contact as to what my wife just called me for. I will be there Monday to speak with the store manager because the manager on shift was completely clueless as to what to do and basically hung up on me.

Worst store ever and I had 13 items of clothing I wanted to try on I’m standing in front of the fitting room for about 5 to 8 minutes waiting for the associate to count the items and there were 4 more people behind me . Well an associate finally came around the corner with one of the go back racks from the fitting room and said the fitting room is closed. We asked “why”? And she said because Staff was short and nobody that work there wanted to take the stuff was short nobody that work there wanted to take the time to mandate the fitting room while customers try it on . The employees are very unprofessional I will be taking my business elsewhere . Ps Have you employees pick up items that have fallen off hangers and put them back on the rack

They have a nice houseware section. Not much cute stuff I the Womens section. I had my grandchildren with me. They needed to use the restroom. One stall had feces on the toilet seat and the other stall was very dirty. I took them to the store next door to use the restroom. I did inform the person working the dressing room who said the store manager had been informed. I also spoke with security who was very kind he suggested that I talk to the store manager (I didn't feel it was my responsibility look for the store manager) This is the first time that I've said in any of my reviews that I will not be returning to an establishment. But I will not return to this particular Ross.

Pretty slow place to shop but I guess you can expect that with any discount store. However, this particular Ross location seems to regress everytime I go there. It almost seems like they have more merchandise stolen than they actually sell. Last time I went there they had a lot of pet products, from shampoo and even pet diapers, to very nice toys and pet clothes. I went there today and they had one little dog leash and a couple of toys. For this store, very uncharacteristic. And not just pet products, EVRYTHING... The store is going downhill. The staff is nice though and if they would tighten up on their security they could go back to being a nice store.

I went to return a carpet that i didnt want anymore because i didnt like how it looked after putting it out. I went to this location to exchange for a new one. My mom who was with me wanted to see the carpet inside of its plastic rap to make sure its clean before we purchased it. We noticed a stain. Another lady came up and started yelling saying we can not open something we did not purchase. I explained to her why we did that and we wanted to speak with a manager to get a discount on it since its dirty. She yelled and said i am the manager and i can not give you a discount because you opened it. Very rude and disrespectful. She needs coaching lessons.

I don’t expect great customer service at Ross. But these people are extremely rude. What have I done to you? I just made line and pay for stuff. They are nice to same race customers. They think they can be rude to “ immigrant customers“. They must expect where they are working in. If you don’t like dealing with people from other countries, why you choose to be cashier in Ross? I hope they have self check out lane. So we can happily shop here.

I don't have a problem with Ross Departure store, but I do have a problem with a security guard and a cashier with the undertone gesture. I shop at Ross often to know they give you a 10% discount for damage, miss etc. items when I mentioned as such, they were working hand and hand with the smart remarks undertone like that's all you getting......really, I started not to purchase the items, I just reported them to upper management.

New Manger Charles Johnson is very Discriminating he fired my special needs son i thought Ross stores not suppose to discriminate i thought they suppose to accomudate according to disability people he has cut other workers hrs that have been working for yrs before coming in as a manger i will be filing a discrimation complaint with cooprate and with the state of florida. He has a nasty attuide when i contacted thr store

Jayda was very rude to me and my mother. She has a terrible attitude and needs to go work flipping burgers in the back of a kitchen where she can’t talk to any customers. I went out to buy my mom a few gifts and she made the entire experience absolutely unpleasant. She was throwing the items around carelessly. I could tell she was unhappy working but maybe she should find a job she actually likes. Hope she gets fired.

Once you cross the doors of ross,You can always find something on the low low and its quality name brand items.. You can buy stuff there and sale on ebay for more money.Mr. Ross your a hero of mine your always welcome to come eat at my house anytime and all my cookware I got at your store even the calvin klein underwear I'm wearing I got at your store...

Only one register open and the line is down into the clothing racks, last time it was longer and they had 2 registers going. Probably from poor leadership/management and zero retention. Treat your employees better and maybe your business won’t be so run down. Can’t wait to get out this line so I can leave already and never come back lol

Ross is ok. They have great prices on decent clothing, housewares,decor and toys. Most of the time I cannot find what I come to look for due to them not having all sizes on hand or multiples of various products. The furniture they sell is a bit low quality. Most parcels I've bought lasted a couple of month.

Ross was better some years ago... now seems they bring garbage only... quality of good so poor. Although they still have good tea, even organic and something good for your kitchen and pantry... well, if you too short on your income it is still lots of deals, but if you have a choice better choose quality.

I love this Ross. It is always clean and easy to shop here. I drive across town because they take care of their customers and scare about store and appearance. They don't just throw stuff on the shelves like other Ross stores. They ignore their customers. Great store and great service!!!

Tanesha is a very nasty and rude manager to have please don't waste ur time or energy trying to get a job there this store has poor customer service experience and poor management. They will smile in your face of faking of understanding that person situation when that's not the case

I adore Ross stores. They are one of my weaknesses. The one thing that I can say about the stores, they are always over crowded and there's too few places to checkout. The checkout line is always a nightmare. I always cut off my shopping because the line gets so long and scary.

Nice clothes and home goods for cheap. When I am going through one of my watch-buying phases I will stop here first to pick up some style. The prices of bedding for queen sizes is especially affordable and the looks and combination packages are better than some other stores.

Purchased a pair of boots 7 Days Later the sole came off did not have the receipt they would not even exchange even though I had a bank statement and I shop there and spend hundred of dollars each week..A Loyal Customer taking my business where it's Trusted and Appreciated!

Nice shop for ladies clothing. Good selection of ladies and womens clothes. Some children's stuff and lots and lots of ornaments and handy man tools. No floor staff around to help. Interestingly no mens apparrel. Modedly busy when we were there.

I give it three stars because service was decent but selective. And what I mean by that is they were only taking card no cash decent variety and clothes but a lot of the same things would still go back and customer service was great!

Found a small piece of luggage at a very reasonable price. The store was crowded and the line was long, but they had every cashier open so the line was super quick! The staff was VERY friendly even though the store was crazy busy!

Went to this store to find a good dress for my wife. To my surprise I found a bunch of "Trump" brand in the mix. The just reason to read that name it makes me nauseated. I leave the store and do not planning to go there anymore.

This is an older store, but it is always well stocked with home items, clothes, shoes, all sizes and for men, women and children. It also has the very handy smaller carts to push around the store in addition to the big ones.

I found some great items for my house, cheaper than online, and good quality. Love being able to see what I’m getting instead of being surprised. Of course, it’s noisy, and crowded, but it’s great if you have time to shop.

Standing in line currently, the line is stretching to the back of the store, two registers open. Despite numerous employees around. Maybe there's a reason they can't open more or a manager can't, but it's painfully slow.

Prices are great. They always have lots of different things to look at but you have to hurry because they don't always have a lot of their inventory. But that's make it part of the fun to see what deal you can find.

I've been to this Ross on few occasions with my family and I can tell you their selection is very limited compared with Ross stores in other locations. The only thing that is gone up is their prices.

I love shopping Ross for journals and dog toys. They always have a good selection. The only thing I don't like about the Kernan store is the cattle line you have to get in to check out!

The cashier asked ME to run and do a price check on an item, and handled my clothing items like a 6 yr old would. Maybe train them to at least try to appear to fold them neatly?

There wasn't anything that i liked and if i did they wouldn't have the size that i want. There all different and random clothing with but sometimes there are good deals.

I was dissapointed because they had 2 register open and 2 customers ahead of me and I still had to wait 10 minutes. One of the cashiers didn't feel like helping anyone.

The hours here are pretty good, especially around the Christmas holidays. There is a large variety of items from clothes to home and beauty items.
