I do the shopping for my mother who is wheelchair bound, I ask if I could get her Senior Citizens Discount I also told the manager she was sitting in eye sight but she told me NO, EVERY ONE WOULD BE DOING THE SAME AS I. I could not understand her ASSITUDE but as I told her we are business people who shop for our Businesses through Ross's but that didn't matter. I guess I should have just lied instead of being truthful at least I would not have not recieved the 3 BLACK ASSITUDE'S that I did and if I had not have to answer to my Mom, I would have left my $46 purchase on the counter and walked away. Yes I am White and did not appreciate their treatment, I did nothing to receive this Assitude. I was taught to be polite no matter if you are white, black or brown. This treatment is not the norm from Ross's, if someone had did that in my business the would be warned and 3 strikes your out of a job. Just to give you a part of my training of a white kid who did not want to wait on black people, I told him everyone that came in my business was one color GREEN and if he couldn't treat people like they should be treated he could pick up his pay and leave, Now that's my way of business. Let's look at this realistically the 10% discount would have only been $4.50 at most but on the flip side because I was treated poorly and they treated my like I was dirt. Ross's receives a very bad review, so I hope my Discount money helps your store because obviously Ross's needs it more than me. I was taught to live by the GOLDEN RULE IN THE BIBLE, I'm not perfect but I keep trying.

I found what I was looking for but had a terrible experience at time of check out. The line was crazy long, only two people working and one clocked out while the line was still getting longer and longer. I asked if someone else could please be called to help out so that the customers could be assisted and kept content, I was given a side eyed look and was told "I'll see". Nothing happened. When my husband asked for a manager we were told the manager was the lady working one of the registers (she never offered to help get assistance nor apologized for the inconvenience her name is Allison). We were instead told by Bryan to "leave" if we were not happy. WOW!!! Great customer service all around. Several employees began to giggle but no one apologized to anyone in the line (that continued to grow). I shop at ROSS quite often and have NEVER experienced this. Not sure if I will shop this specific location again.

I'll probably never go back in that store! I had some returns to make and was told 2 items had been reduced to $0.49....skeecher tennis shoes and a dressy blouse....really A similar thing happened a few years ago. I received a nice 2 piece dress from my daughter and took it back to exchange for a different size. She said it had been reduced to $2.49....my daughter was fuming because she'd paid $30 for it but couldn't find the receipt. How embarrassed would someone be to buy a gift and the recipient is told you spent pocket change on it. I took the stuff all back and donated it. Never, never will I shop there again!!....unless they can show me the $0.49 sale rack with shoes and clothes on it...lol

I purchased a painting, carried it all the way to my car. When I get to my car I realize it’s busted, I start looking for the receipt I had and I just can not find it. I put all my other stuff in the car and go back inside. It’s extremely hot. I tell the clerk, she goes to the manager who says “it wasn’t busted when you bought it”. Basically calling me a liar in front of this whole room of people. We go back and forth until I finally say “it’s your word against mine, don’t worry about it”. Then she decides to allow the return. Then I had to explain I lost my receipt and she questions me again. You would have thought I stole a million dollars. It was totally ridiculous.

I was visiting a friend at travel lodge a few minutes away from Ross so I called to make sure dressing rooms were still open because my body fits in different sizes and absolutely has to be tried on. I was told they were open so myself and my sister started shopping but when I found the fitting rooms they were closed and blocked off. When I asked an employee, I was told they did not have enough employees for the fitting room and whoever told me that I could try on outfits to purchase didn't know better. So I paid for an Uber and wasted almost an hour picking out things I really wanted but had to leave empty handed!!!

If my experience in this store today is any indication, Ross will likely be out of business within a few weeks. The employee attitude and performance (or lack there of) was shameful. The checkout line was almost all the way to the back of the store, yet the manager (who didn't have the decency to respond when I asked for her name, but whose name tag said, "Alison") allowed the second register to close, leaving a single register for both returns and purchases. And Bryan, apparently from Loss Prevention, was professional (NOT) enough to say, "You can leave if you want to." I will NEVER set foot in a Ross again.

Back up in New England there aren't many, If any of these stores, there are similar types TJ Maxx, and Marshalls, but they're not quite the same. On vacation, in Florida, had the chance to check it out. Great bang for your buck, with tons of well known brands at a fraction of the price as opposed to buying online or in a typical shopping mall. Also, the employees at this particular store are very friendly and had awesome attitudes. They can multi-task while answering questions with ease. Highly recommend if you have one in your area or happen to visit.

I have to say I love this Ross. I came back from this African picture but I was disappointed I couldn't find it. I'm still giving them 5 stars because when I can't find the item I want I always and I mean ALWAYS leave with a new found item. This time I found an unexpected collection of cups I definitely had to get. I'm in love and I definitely will post more pictures with my second update. This place is gross. The womens Apparel is COMPLETELY UNORGANIZED. And trust me, I would know, I work at the marshalls across the street where we are waaaaaaay more organized and clean. The beauty section if scarce everytime I visit. The shoes are a bit tumbled around everywhere The only polite employees are the loss prevention men who greet you as you walk in. The prices are good, and if you reallllllly look, you can find some good stuff.

This is the 3rd time I have came to this store that closes at 11:30 & they have locked the doors early. I'M writing this post at 11:15 that's so sad & makes me extremely mad because there are others I could have went to if they let it me know but instead they have waisted my time, my Gass & money. I definitely speND alot at Ross but no question that I will be going else for a while & calling there headquarters, VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Clean store. Wanted a men's dress shirt and a nice pair of women's shorts but the options for them were pretty limited and it was also pretty hard to source the right sizes as they were all pretty mixed up. Ended up going to Burlington instead for those I have bought some household items before and the quality of those were pretty good though. They also had some cute tops so I'll go back for those another day as well...

Ross is pretty great. Has a decent selection of different clothing styles. Sizes are not all inclusive. They had barely any pants in my size very disappointing. They need to stock more 29 length pants for short people. The bathrooms were of average cleanliness. Prices are pretty decent for everything. Shoes are priced great and they always have great selection of shoes. It is always a pleasure shopping at Ross.

This particular Ross is conveniently located in the River City Market. It’s pretty busy with a lot of traffic in the parking area. I have noticed that this store has improved in the organization in the last few years, but I wish there were a few more things to look through. They do have some okay home goods and spices. I would love for them to get some better skin products

Ross stores vary drastically from location to location. This one in particular is usually either well picked over or has clothes that aren't really to my liking. Of course people's tastes vary, but what this location usually has of decent availability are women's dresses and some jeans and household items. Still, there's not a huge selection. Staff is helpful and kind.

LOVE shopping at Ross! This isn't the most well stocked store I've been to though. At times it can look a little picked through. But there is always something good to find. Clothes, shoes, handbags, toys, pet goods, home goods for kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, tech for electronics and cars, luggage, jewelry, makeup, and so much more.

Huge selection, affordable prices, attentive staff and good at keeping the check out line moving. During this particular visit, an elderly customer fell outside of the store and the store manager acted quickly, assessing the damage and alerting the proper medical team for further treatment. I was impressed with human kind once again!

Great experience at Ross at Rivercity. I believe Glenda checked me out this evening. She was very kind and efficient when a shirt I chose ripped due to the security tag. She is an excellent multitasker and able to continuously help her fellow associates while assisting customers. I hope she can be recognized for exceptional service.

I enjoy Ross during the non Holiday seasons. They have more items and better prices during that time. A great place to browse and get lost in the home decor section, even if it is small. Better organized than other stores that advertise the same things. Just be careful not to spend too much money while getting lost in the store.

They have got to do something about the lines, it was 3 of us and we all put down stuff and walked out after seeing the line. Plus the dressing room is still closed for no apparent reason. Practically every one else selling clothes have opened up dressing rooms at this point. Too many more convenient ways to spend my money.

Savings at a sacrifice. If you dont mind carrying your large items in hand because they have not had large bags in over a month or waiting to use restroom that gets cleaned once a week, shopping at Ross is for you. I guess you can say it's a HOLD everything type of place. Hold your purchases and Hold your body fluids.

I love every Ross store! You can find many unique items, as well as home decor and some light furniture. They had a coffee table that I would've loved to have had, but there's no way it would've fit in the car. Many different areas to shop in, which is nice because they have a vast inventory of merchandise.

Store busy. Lots of unique sale priced items. Good dress selection. No church suits. 2 of 7 registers were open, the day before mothers day. River City Marketplace traffic is just bad. Need traffic signals throughout (maybe?). I've never seen an accident there though. Just a few cringe worthy exchanges.

An employee atole my cart and emptied it into the return bins.. I was like less than 10 feet from my cart holding pants up to my kid and looked over and it was gone. Had to dig each of my items out myself to rebuild my cart (with a kid that was over it even before we got put back to square 1). Weird.

The Lady that takes care of returns was Exstreamly Nice and Helpful and Very Honest,I Gave her 20.00 to Much and I didn't even realize it and She was Honest and handed it back to me ..She really deserve a raise because not to many People are Honest these Days and Time's...Thank You For Your Honesty..

I went there to buy men's briefs. Not boxers. They had no white ones. Some months ago when I went to the Marshals on Normandy, I bought a package of white Haned briefs. A month or so later, every one of those shorts developed holes in the front private areas. By that time I misplaced the receipt.

Easy to get in and out of unlike the other Ross at St John's. They also had a lot of the same things as the other store but had a LOT that the other did not. Store was clean and shelves and racks were neat. Encountered the fitting room attendant while there and she was pleasant as well.

This establishment is easily noticeable in traffic located in the River City Mall. Wonderful items ranging from snacks like cookies, candy, clothing, shoes, jewelry, body care, cosmetics, even housewares, your sure to get what you came for, at half the price. Clean unisex restrooms

This has got to be the slowest place in river city to purchase something. They’ll surely pay a security guard to just stand there but they can’t pay anymore cashiers to be working on a Friday evening? I’ll support other businesses who value my time, quite unlike this one.

Was very disappointed in the rudeness of this store( 1st time ) I thought the salesperson heard me on the tues over 55 discount when I call about it I was told could not return the item then do the transaction . No apology at all . So this has left very disapointed .

Good selection on products. But there was only one cashier and this store is extremely dirty and unkept. The bathroom was so gross I didn't even want to touch the door handles, there was wet black stuff in the corner of the tiles with bugs all around it.

I found that women close where in the men's section the shoes where all mixed on in sizes but the cashier was very nice and pleasant. I did find what I was looking but it took a long time sifting through all wrong sizes in shoes and close

I'll be honest this is one of the more nicer Ross's I've ever been to a lot of them look like you're in downtown Calcutta and a bomb went off but this one was everything was you know appropriately placed and neat and tidy and it was good

Ross is always hit or miss. The employees are always very kind and helpful but the store itself does not tend to have the best selection. I always check here when I need something but I typically end up having to find it somewhere else.

the security in this store doesn't really keep good order. a bunch of kids were yelling and trying to start fights with each other in the store. ridiculous!! this has happened about 3 times when visited. I don"t go here anymore.

Maybe merchandise sells out quickly !! Inventory is always very low. Staff is friendly. Today I was told restocking will pick up because tax season is approaching. I do appreciate the 10% senior discount every Tuesday.

This is one of favorite stores! The prices are really great and number and quality of the name brands is a plus. For example, recently I bought a Calvin Klein suit that was originally priced for $200, I only paid $25!

Always something new and always something to purchase. Shoe selection for full-fitted women could be better but I never walk out of here empty handed. Plus, the location is near other great stores that I like.

This store is good for finding name brand clothes for less. I actually prefer the Regency location because they have clothes that are more my style.(Skate/Surf/Beach wear) Not sure why this location doesn’t.

I enjoy shopping at ross'. They have such a variety and i can spend a couple hours looking around. I give the River City location a 3 because I prefer the Mandarin location as they have a larger.

Very organized and clean store. The workers are amazing, super helpful and knowledgeable! There may be a 'long line' of customers checking out, but the cashier's are very fast at their job.

Their selection is sub par among other area stores even with the amazing prices. You could do better item wise, but the customer service was amazing and friendly, so there's that at least.
