This is a relatively new Ross store in our neighborhood located in a new strip mall on the corner of Pulaski and Diversey, across the street from Golden Nugget on one side and Cermak Fresh Market on the other. It's has plenty of parking and easy access to the street. Ross is always full of surprises and good values. If you don't find what you want today, come back again later in the week or next week. They have amazing values on home goods, shoes, health and beauty products perfume, men and women's clothes, including junior sizes along with candy, and all kinds of snacks. My only small complaint us sometimes they don't have enough staff at checkout counter and it can be slow. Sometimes shoppers block the ailsles with their carts, most of the time they smile and make room for others but not always. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thumbs up for this Ross!

Very bad customer service. I was missing 1 item I purchase and paid for. When I returned to the store with the receipt of purchase to claim the missing item that was not in my bag, I waited approximately 45 minutes for security and Management to look at the video cameras. It took four people in the store to view the video, to then come to tell me all items were placed in my bag by the cashier. Why did it take so long and four people to view the video. Only to tell me all items was placed in my bag. The item I purchased was a ladies black blouse for my mothers funeral. I was already at time going through a very hard time. I had to repurchase another black blouse because I was under stress and needed it for my moms funeral. They had no comparison. I will never go back to this store.

The store over all is okay. The cashiers are nice but management is poor. The morning Loss prevention officer seems like the manager. Some tall guy with glasses wearing his mask below the nose. He is a chatty fellow for sure. Chatting away about which train line is the worse meanwhile customers are waiting in a LINE that seems to be the worse one of all. An employee asks the tall “doofus” prevention office if he thinks she should open a register. “If you want” was the response heard by all waiting in line forced to listen to the useless “elevator chatter”. These people need an espresso shot. Get it moving, some of us actually have to get to places to do actual things.

Everything in the stores has better prices compared to department stores! Ross, expect to pay less! There are many clothes and styles to choose from. The store had several employees cleaning and making sure everything was done properly. No one was rude or impatient. Everyone was polite to each other. Overall, it is a good pleasant experience. The employee that checked us out was super respectful and did her job to the best of her abilities and standards. You won't regret visiting this store. This is definitely going to be the Ross we go to from now on. I'll definitely be doing more shopping there!

How do we stay in business? Found the perfect bath mat in North Riverside. Wanted several. They wouldn’t / said couldn’t look in the stockroom and wouldn’t check at another store. So I called and they were very nice but weren’t allowed to check stock. So I drove to 3 stores to find this. Only found one. Would have bought 10. And found the lamp shade I got at one store $2 cheaper at another store. Huge lines. No cashiers. Not worth the deals and are they deals if they are cheaper at another store same chain.

Poor customer service reflects badly on your store When a customer makes a purchase the cashier should never ask the customer to put the cart back, especially when there's only a handful of shoppers in the store And I'd like to add if I'm purchasing a gift card it should be placed in my hand not just lazily placed on the counter so anyone can take it This store needs to do a careful review of the people they are hiring Also restrooms are absolutely filthy There's no explainable excuse for that all

Customer service is terrible if it's not the basic words of saying welcome to Ross they do NOT have the skill set for rebuttals if their a legitimate question or just a basic small dispute such as being over charged on one item and you purchased 2 of the same. Loss prevention focus primarily on women employees and dsnt not have the skill set to possess such position. Yeah convenient store, but make sure you go in with such expectations of little to none and I guess you will be ok.

First time at this store. Really liked it. Pretty good assortment of items. Clothing available in many sizes. Staff was very nice especially the greeter. He went out of his way to help. Clean establishment. Only 4 stars because when you try on shoes, the sensor alarms tend to go off. This gets a bit ridiculous as a staff member has to come and turn it off. Also the alarm makes it hard to get your foot in the shoe because of its placement. Won't be buying shoes here!

Got here at 9pm and every 5 min till closing they announced the store was closing in less than 40min when it was an hour it closing. At 9:20 they said the store closes in 10minutes and started shutting down returns and closing the doors and putting down the window proctors. Employees seemed rude and unhelpful. Also had employees going around telling every customer to checkout cause the store was closed at 9:35pm

My experience with Ross wonderful they have everything they're not so expensive nice dresses clothes for men children perfume cologne wallets you name it they got it and the staff I cannot complain well-behave manners if you need something they will look for it or tell you exactly where it is real friendly and the store very clean he can't see no clothes on the floor like all the stores not them very clean

Horrible experience at the register. Actually filed a complaint against this store I wasnt able to get a name because these little rude workers cover each other. I was treated poorly, I was called bad names, sworn at and laughed at and wont be going to this location again. They are lucky I have manners and walked away. I cant imagine how many people have experienced this and just havent said anything.

Not my favorite Ross. The customer service seemed irritated we were there, no one wanted or couldn't answer any questions. The only helpful employee was the girl at the dressing room who was super busy with people coming in and out of the dressing room and putting away clothing. If your looking for a bargain with little to no help others interaction, this is your Ross.

Customer service has declined. When Ross first opened at this location they use to greet customers. Manager tried to make up a return policy, where it clearly doesn't state on the back of the receipt. Cashiers have created an unwelcome environment by speaking in their native language infront of customers that don't understand. Differently need diversity.

This store was a big mess, was looking for the manager! Cloth were on the floor it was horrible. The only good thing they had was the 4 cashier working and moving the line. Recommendation, hire more staff for the floor to put back the items, there should be at least 5 in different departments. Ross is a good retail store but with good management

Since customers are unable to try on clothes due to covid, they are accepting returns as long as the clothing still has the original tags on them and you have the receipt. Not that it makes sense (I'm just curious on what they do with the returned items and if/how they disinfect them), but appreciate the willingness to do so!

Purchased a coat for my son paid $40.. after only 3 weeks the seams are coming loose under the arms ! It was a cheap made coat!! I had lost my receipt I went to Ross on Mannheim for a refund the policy said a store credit... I was refused BOTH!! NO one is answering the customer service or corporate phone …

Went to try on some pants, dressing room girl treated me like if I was going to steal them. What an idiot. She started checking EAS tag, making sure they were tight before I tried them on. Why don't they check that before customers bring them to dressing room. I threw them back on rack and floor then left.

This location is quite small and lack of product available is understatement, I mean there were empty shelves and fixtures or some had a couple of items placed there. The sock section was barely there. There were no perfume/cologne section. Free parking, public bathroom and fitting room.

My body has been changing and it has been hard to find clothes that fit to my liking. Ross has really helped me get back some of mt confidence. They have a great selection that is up to date with recent trends. My only complaint is their jeans are of poor quality.

Is a good place over all but the girl that was working at the fitting around 8 pm (6.10.2021) was told to close and she literally freakout or something that she literally went inside the fitting room to kick out people.. like is there really that much rush?

So many amazing and affordable items to choose from I visited yesterday and got things for the bathroom, kitchen bedroom and clothes and spent less than $100 well worth the trip. It's a very clean and organized store and they have dressing and bathrooms.

I enjoy going to this location. Employees are nice. The store is kept up nicely. I'd never thought I would like it. The one at the Brickyard location is HORRIBLE. Not clean employees look like they don't want to work. No smiles from employees.

It is honestly ridiculous that so many businesses like this one still do not open their bathroom doors for customers yet. I have noticed since the pandemic started most businesses have not reopened their bathrooms. How can buying costumers

I didn't buy anything but the security guard was very helpful on a question I had and still asked me if I was able to do my exchange. I could not because I didn't have my item with me. That's the kind of person every store should have.

Love love love Ross. So many great things to choose from. Store a little disorganized but thats because they are so busy. Went with hubby and got 5 pairs of name brand shoes for awesome prices. And a real cute skirt. Thank you Ross.

Clothes sizes were not hung in proper places or on correct hangers. Disorganized. They were pilling up slipper boxes so high they were falling over amd without any signage. Not enough of the popular sizes of clothing.

The employees are always helpful. Store is kept clean. Even opening after a Pandemic this store was well kept. I always find great gems. Management and Employees keep up the great work. You are one of my favorites.

Snatched up some leather Ralph Lauren winter boots for $32. Now selling for $65 at Ross which is about half the retail price. I'll be on the lookout for another pair if I can get another great deal like that.

I usually go to the ross on state street and don't usually find too much in the way of clothes, but this location was bomb. Found a great jacket and a handful of shirts that are incredibly cute and cheap.

So much great stuff. You will find something. They have cloths for everyone even pets. They have cookware, snacks, bed and bath, body lotion, cosmetics, dressing room, and more. I always find something.

I've been here twice, I didn't find what I was looking for. I purchased other items. The prices are good. The only thing is that the aisles are too small, too much merchandise not enough room to display

This store is a joke the store is practicality empty, bad customer services, if you go in here you are legitimately wasting your time! Plus the hours online are incorrect. They close on Fridays at 10pm

Ok... I found a pair of nice fitting Jeans for $8! And a pretty cool blouse for $3! Honestly I came in not expecting to find anything in that price range. Will be shopping here more often.

In Ross you have to spend a lot of time searching for stuff but the good news is there's a lot to find! prices are super economic (since I don't live there I felt the prices super cheap)

Please costumers double check for your items after getting your receipts. Otherwise If you miss any item in particular count it as lost. They will not give your item or money back.

Overall a good experience. The prices are great! The store was a little bare and not everything was in the correct size spots which made it a little more difficult to find things.

This Ross is full of any kind of good stuff. I love to go there, always leave at least $ 100. The store is clean, people friendly, toys are still in boxes, not on the floor.

Not the best Ross. but good for a quick check out. I have not have had a lot of luck. The one in Skokie has way more choice for my size. (2X) But still great store.

I found 4 towel blankets at a reasonable price. I didn't have to wait long. I was in and out about 20 minutes.

A good store overall. Staff is pleasant and quick (usually). Only problem is I can rarely find my size.

10:40pm is not the same 11:00pm closing time. Stick to your hours of operation otherwise change them.
