GO TO ANY OTHER ROSS THAT’S CLOSE BY OR IN A NICER PART OF TOWN. THIS ROSS DIRECTLY REFLECTS THE MISERY OF THEIR EMPLOYEES’ LOW LIFESTYLES ONTO THEIR CUSTOMERS. The workers are horribly mean. Their manager Mary LIED TO ME, LAUGHED AT ME AND COMPLETELY HUMILIATED ME. Last night I checked out pretty late (about 6:50). It was a Sunday so they closed at 7 but before coming into the store, I had completely forgotten it was a Sunday and that they’d close so early. After my card was declined due to my bank mistaking my purchase for fraudulent activity, I asked if I could go get another card real quick from my car. The manager was extremely rude and told me “No, I have a bus to catch!” I expressed that I parked right out front and that I’d be back in 3 minutes to purchase a suitcase. The manager eventually said “okay, but I don’t do this very often so hurry up”. I thanked her and ran outside the store. As soon as I was out of the store, she locked the gate right behind me as she, the security officer and two other employees LAUGHED AT ME. I’m leaving for vacation today and have been on a time crunch to get everything ready in time. I am absolutely APPALLED by how the workers speak to customers and treat them. The manager’s name is Mary The security worker’s name is Lucas Mary lies to customers, closes the store early to “catch her bus”, and LAUGHS at causing customers distress. I wanted to make one simple purchase and these employees ruined my whole day as I had to go to 2 other stores to find something even remotely similar. The problem could have been solved if the employees had better customer service skills and didn’t flat out disrespect their customers. They never even offered to put my item on hold to be able to purchase it the next day. Since I was lied to and told that I could go get another card before being locked out and laughed at, I didn’t ask to put the item on hold and hadn’t thought of it. The employees should have suggested that option if they didn’t want to let me get another card out of my car instead of giving me attitude about personal problems, lying to me, and laughing at me after humiliating me. I will NEVER be in to this Ross again and I will tell my friends about this experience. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY BY CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEES IN MY LIFE. Horrible, horrible experience. I even shed a few tears from stress and humiliation after watching the employees laugh at me behind the gate. Save yourself the misery and visit a location that’s in a nicer part of town. Heck, the two Ross’ off of 82nd Ave. are even better!
First time I have bought boots for work and the entire bottom sole has just started floppy around coming off completely. I purchased them Feb 4th this year which makes them just shy of three months old. I have never had a pair of work boots or shoes completely go that bad so fast. I'm a low income individual and can't afford to buy 4 pairs a year on my wages especially during the tough time we are having. Be aware , I called this location and was told its their policy not to compensate or trade worn shoes which I understand, but they could have given me some kind of credit towards a new pair since they are the only store I usually get my work apparel; among other items. The downtown location was much better with customer service. When I had a problem with a product they would usually refund or exchange the item no questions asked when I produced a receipt. The young lady just referred me to their customer service line which I'm sure will be some call center fielding complaints and what so forth. To say the least I will not be going back to this location anytime soon. I would rather bus out further for quality and service from a different location. Store #715 Lloyd Center Ross "Gee thanks for the help". I hope you're doing well and your shoes don't fall apart on you during your shift at work.
We found a couple of area rugs for living rooms in our apartment. Bought a nice one for the kitchen and a round area rug for our living room both very nice. We left the store having spent less than $50. Ross is always in the game when we are looking for incidentals. They always hit a homerun with their sheets and pillowcases very affordable very high quality. Bought a couple suitcases easily hundreds and hundreds of dollars in downtown Portland at the fancy stores but Ross? Too nice roller suitcases under a hundred bucks. I always buy my socks and we are talkin Calvin Klein, Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, and always a really great deal. Always always always enjoy the Ross at Lloyd Center they always have a lot of goodies.
The Ross stores are hit-and-miss offering the possibility of a decent brand of clothing at much lower cost than normal(kind of like a quick little treasure hunt). I think it is a good place to run through for a few targeted items weather you could discover a hidden treasure or two but I never do any really serious shopping here(my short list gets me in and out in under five minutes: socks, designer jeans & short sleeve snap front shirts). Store is usually in a state of disarray so you could find at random gem anywhere but the odds are not very good so I suggest saving time and going in with a targeted approach. Good luck to you on you next visit, may you be blessed with an awesome find!
I'm not sure what is going on with this store but when I was there I couldn't find half of the items I was looking for the whole store was literally bare hardly anything in the store. I did find a new pair of shoes that I was looking for luckily they were on sale from the original price of $64, I only paid $24.50 for a pair of Nike Air Max. During my check out experience I felt judged and poverty profiled. The check out clerk Karen called the security officer to the front desk and claimed that myself and a friend was attempting to rob the store and not pay for my wonderful shoes.
Wow, it's irresponsible to even call this place a store, there is literally more stuff in my studio apartment and in more sizes. When I was here there were probably 5 pairs of shoes and 50 xl bugs bunny sweat shirts and the 6 foot 7 security guard kept following me around "stealth like" while I mostly walked around in shock at how this place is still open. I made a special trip there from across town due to it being the only ross open, but honestly I was more angry that it was because this place isn't a store it's where you keep the stuff you found in 1 box from the attic
I like this location ok. Easy for me to get there. I've often found what I'm looking for. Even though the store is 2 floors, there could be more merchandise. Often, there are empty shelves. Downside, because it's located inside the mall, it closes early (7p weeknights). Although, 1 hour after most other stores. Boils down to COVID and an empty mall. Many stores have left all together or closed still from pandemic. Plus, it's a matter of time before the mall is shut down for good. I believe developers have purchased the land.
I like tj max much better and there clearance section is lacking. But regardless of location the regular selection of dresses is phenomenal. the address for this review for the one at the Loyd Center, I Recently went to the on on 99 and Gleason and have had an awful experience each time I have been there I actually think thy are selling old merchandise from TJ Max, with an overly expensive price tag, and no consideration for there customers.
Your dressing room attendants are clearly unhappy. Went in, the attendant was unfriendly. When I came out it was a different woman, who was also unfriendly. Waiting for my daughter to finish up, I saw a chair and sat down, she told my son and I we couldn't sit in the chairs. How do you sell furniture if you don't let people try it out? I asked the cashier about the policy and he said he'd never heard of that.
I really like shopping here, great deals on everything,I just bought a new pair of 501 Jean's for $25.00,But it would be very nice if all of the security guards would stop following me around when am shopping I've been coming to this store for over 2 years now and I don't steal from it or any other stores,of from my family or friends or the homeless,I just really want to do my shopping like a normal person.
I like the household goods area they have and the employees are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. There were many affordable options for home goods and they do change pretty frequently. I only wish they held more inventory because the deals are amazing. Bought rugs, lamps, solar lights, shelving, some men's clothing and shoes and throw pillows. Will frequent this store in the future, for certain!
Not my favorite Ross dress for less; limited inventory and small store. Also feels somewhat empty due to the bottom floor entrance being closed and the scarceness of customers due to COVID-19 pandemic. The employees are a bit jaded and stand-offish which adds to the weird ghost town atmosphere it already has. Oh ! And Loss Prevention really is funny. Almost cute how they actually try.
Great experience until leaving the store on the upper level today. The cashier failed to remove the anti theft device from a pair of curtains I purchased and the alarm went off as I left the store. Embarrassing humiliation are just are few words to describe the ordeal. The security person fixed in a reasonable period. More training needed at Store 715, Portland Or.
The staff was friendly and very helpful with any questions that I had. Security however was very intent on following me even though I wasn't acting suspicious or even taking my backpack off my back like I was trying to put their merchandise in my backpack. But I do understand why being that it is the Lloyd Center Mall location.
This is probably the worst Ross I have ever been in. They had hardly any stuff. You start looking in a section of the store and you look around and it was if 3/4 of what should have been in the section was just not there. At first I thought it was just one section and then it was literally every department of the store.
Lol, changed my life. I'm wishing for one to just appear in Ireland (in currently on a journey to find its alternative) . Great clothing and the price, well it's now what is expected. It's the real deal. Beware of the quality of some of the items though. There are times when you spot loose stitching.
Great prices. Cool items that I don't think I could find anywhere else. Whoever is the manager/ GM of that store is doing a great job. The store was open before, during and "after" the pandemic. Keep up the great work. I appreciate your business and I will continue to go here. Awesome staff. A+
Great shop for cheap clothes shopping, stumbled on this place by accident, love how cheap it is. Levis shoes $20, Tommy Hillfigure belt $10, 4 pack of Hillfigure socks $10, and more, will do all my clothes shopping here now, as it's better than tj maxx, the Lloyd centre is a great little mall
Ross is always a great place to find a bargain. They carry clothes. Household items, like sheets, towels, art, pots and pans, tools/automotive it is a great place to find a deal. Also those over 55 get a discount on Tuesdays. I always shop at Ross first when I need clothes or something else.
Walked to the counter the older black lady with light brown hair short walked away twice. Wasn't very pleasant threw my things on the counter. Seen her while waiting at the bathrooms and she was somewhat more nice to others but I didn't like the place ever heard of customer service.
Who doesn't love Ross? One of my all-time favorite clothing stores. Besides myself, Ross has same great deals on men & children & housewares too. The prices are low & selection is wide, designer labels too. The shoes are another great find, only it can be hit or miss at times.
Reasonable prices with constistent sales on most items. Many familiar name brands and many items in all sizes xxsm-xxxxl. Helpful, friendly and fast employed with knowlegeable and professional staff. The store is convienently located and works well with returns and exchanges.
I don't know how long the staff upstairs has been employed but they are in dire need of quality customer service training, knowing how to read customers, listen to understand not to respond. Plz don't assume or interrupt a customer expressing their needs/interests
Awesome place to get a variety of items such as clothes, kitchenware and household items all in one place at a decent price. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great as parking is really easy compared to the one at downtown Pioneer Sq.
Always a decent selection for men/boys. Women's variety is great! Its in the mall so it is busy all the time. I've never been disappointed after shopping here. Sometimes they have what you're looking for other times they don't. Great staff though.
I always get my dogs potty pads here they generally have the box of a hundred for $20 which is the best price plan and very good brand I think everyone already knows they have clothing shoes house kids you can also find lots of great pet supplies
At Ross you will always find something you like and ultimately end up buying. At least that's how it is for me. Lots of things are great, although some things are a little less quality. Look around. It's fun there. Oh, and prices are dang good!
Not a typical Ross experience (for which you need to go to suburbia)... But you can still find good deals on shoes, inexpensive business and casual wear. Not a huge selection, but plan on going in morning timeframe to get the best selections.
They do not want your business! Don't bother. I was here, 8 minutes before closing to get ONE item. I don't live near this area...no overnight holds either. So RUDE! Don't Shop Here! Why is Lloyd center Failing?! Now you know - Bad Business
Ross has had a successful come back, following a difficult period of time a few years ago. The store is better organized than it used to be, and cleaner. On this particular visit I picked up a four-pack of Dickies hiking socks, for $9.99.
I love love love ross!! And they have clearance in damn well every dept on top of their great low prices! They offer ALOT of name brand items as well. The cashier's AND security at the entryway are nice, informative and courteous.
I used to enjoy shopping at Ross. There were lots of good and reasonably priced choices in clothing, housewares, home furnishings, luggage, etc. Now it looks sparse and tired in there. The quality just isn't there anymore.
If this Ross were a third world country; it would be Somalia. Their stock has been looted by the dictatorship lead Army. Looks like someone stole EVERYTHING they have including the employees and the inventory. Boo
Found some incredible post-Holiday deals! Store opened later (11am on a Saturday) than I expected. Being NYE, maybe that's why. I'm thankful for the few reasonably priced brick and mortar retail stores that remain open!
Got some great deals on dresses! The store is clean and organized, viewer friendly. Lots of odds and ends to choose from. Quick service in the register line. Easy in and out today, enjoyed the whole experience!
Favorite place to shop! Wish this location had a bigger selection of baby gear since that's what I went in looking for. Still wont detour me from going back again. They have amazing pieces on name brand items!!
I really like this Ross location. I've had better success here than various other locations in the Portland area as far as finding a wide selection of clothes that fit, are chic, etc. Good prices, as always.
I always find cute stuff here however it's gotten very sketchy, not sure it's safe to go alone anymore as it's inside the mall. Which there's not much to the mall anymore. They do have good finds for sure
Very fair prices i bought a lot of things i needed cheaply. What i don't like is there don't restoxk after shelves have been emptied by people who buy too many things so if you late you won't get anything.
I made a return with original receipt everything. Yet they never returned my money on my card. It’s ridiculous to even get help from customer service, they make it impossible for help/ assistance. …
A good place to get discount clothing. Do a close inspection of your items though. A lot of them are one off's. They may be marked with the wrong size so definitely try them on. Check the seams as well.
Poor selection, no service, too much money for the quality offered. I actually needed a pair of cargo pants, pretty basic item, nothing suitable at any price. Won't bother to ever go back.
Came here to sweep up some good deals on many occasions. For my first Ross experience I purchased a pencil skirt and stretchy slacks for a great price. Best purchases I've ever made.
A place to find great deals! Though you have to be really observant to check for quality of product, it is worth. Many good brand products were also available for affordable price.
They are on top of making sure only so many people are in the building at a time and it's never been crowded when I've gone. The stock is still a little low from holiday shopping.
Love finding great deals here, I just bought a skirt and some cute little ice cube trays. Love coming here. My favorite place to shop for a gift for a friend or a family member.
My go-to spot for seasonal men's shoes, and most housewares/ linens. Stores don't feel well staffed, but don't mind browsing on my own. Often find very very good prices.
After an hour of shopping, im told there are no fitting rooms! lower level doors closed, escalator down. How am i supposed to get a cart up and down the stairs?
Always great prices! I bought my 2-in-1 jacket at a great deal! $40 vs $100 Great place for Xmas shopping or last minute gifts! It's always fun going there!
Great prices. Found a cute pillow on clearance for. 49 cents! Plush throw blankets for ten bucks. Great stuff for people on a tight tight budget like me.
Cleanest Ross store I have been to in long, long time. Plenty of items and it was well organized. Two floor store, men's downstairs, women's upstairs.
This place can be weary. But over all it's a Ross, go in, look, buy. Customer service at its finest, they let you be and shop at your will. No fuzz!*
I got there 10 min before closing to get a pair of swim trunks, and they wouldn't even let me in. Staff was rude, and store looked empty of goods.
I love these stores but they're not fully stocked up yet. My visit this time left me a little disappointed. I hope it gets better soon …
There are plenty of options here compared to other Ross stores. They offer more home decor and home furnishings than most. Great location!
Beautiful store great staff/ helpful, just a reminder let us do our part to not tthrow cloth / shoes Around, love our stores …
Ross is my favorite chain store in Portland for clothing and odds and ends. I also love the first section in the cosmetics.
It's ok except they closed really fast and at the end wouldn't let me buy what I got to get so it was a wast of my time
Bought a couple of pairs of men's slacks. Not that much men's clothes. They had some shoes I was tempted to buy though.
It's usually pretty good in stock but it seemed to be stocked really good today which is Friday I would go on a Friday
There was hardly anything in the store but I did find what I was looking for. Employees whom I encountered were nice.
Worst customer service. Some girl named “Jada” told my kids they are demons.. won’t be shopping here anymore …
The store is clean and fairly well organized. They had a good amount of staff who were friendly and helpful.
Just visited today, 24 Apr 2023, and it's the best place to buy name brand luggage at a great price.
There was absolutely nothing there. Merchandise wise it is a ghost town. Not worth the trip to Loyd
There is legit nothing in this store except 5 pairs of shoes and a couple dozen XL t shirts.
My partner & I stopped in because I needed some new shoes. Staff was friendly and courteous.
It's a nice shopping place to buy stuffs but there isn't much for men so i give it 4 stars.
Love to shop there the price is right. I can buy house wear and clothes for the family.
Love the savings, good selection of merchandise at a fair and discounted price.
Great price on many of items!!! Purchase every time I go!!!
An employee tried to rob me while I was trying on coats
Not much inventory prices were fair service was good
They have a lot of cute clothes not a lot of shoes
Great prices, surprisingly good kitchen section.
Festive and friendly as usual. Thank you!
Shelves are almost bare every time I go
As it name says, great discounts.
