Problem still is not fixed and technician did not seem to know what was wrong. This was a second visit for this company first visit they assumed and told us there was no power charged us $150 and left. Told us we needed to call an electrician, which we did who confirmed there was power, which is when we called Roto router back and the second technician confirmed that there was indeed power. During his visit seemed to take extra time and not really understand what the possible problems could be called in another technician who told us it was something else the float, which still did not correct the problem , so after two days and over eight hours we still are unsure of what the issue is gave it a few stars because at least they recognized the first visit was a joke and credit us back the amount for that visit. However, the problem they resolved we still aren’t sure if that is the exact problem so we’re built for that fix when we’re not really certain that it was the problem to begin with tech did not seem knowledgeable or well-versed in anything to do with what he was fixing and even tried using a hose meant to drain the pool to fill up the receptacle. During the visit, he followed me into the house on several occasions, and even into the bathroom when all I was doing was turning the water on so he could test , what was happening in the yard?

VERY disappointing! To their credit, scheduling was extremely easy, and prompt. I visited the website Saturday evening and the tech arrived during the scheduled window on Sunday morning. That is where the convenience ended. We needed help because there was no hot water in the master shower. Working in the rest of the house. The tech only visually inspected the issue and gave a vague "best guess" as to what the issue could be. The price for the "fix" he suggested started at $800. We decided that was not worth it but there was still $125 charge for the visual inspection/best guess. After the tech left, my husband took the piece apart himself, found the issue (just a clog) and had it fixed and put back together in just a few minutes. I would gladly have paid the $125 (or more) for the tech to do exactly what my husband did (which is what I expected when I called them) but since I paid $125 for literally nothing, I feel totally ripped off. We know nothing about plumbing and it made us nervous to make things worse but at least we know now that we should just try to fix it ourselves before calling a "professional".

Strange experience. First of all the price is apprently highly negotiable. After a quick survery of the issue, I was quoted a *very* high price ($485) just to unclog a drain. I said I cant afford that and I'd have to wait, so he asked what I would be willing to pay. After telling him he quoted me almost half the initial charge. While that was a positive in That it was so much cheaper of course, its odd practice for a large business like that I think. I'd prefer things to be a little more cut and dry, and it just felt off. The second and most upsetting thing is the employee SLAMMED the door to my home twice going in and out. It was so loud and aggressive something fell off of a shelf near the door one of the times. He did not seem upset or angry so I don't know what it was about. If I was a less patient person that whole interaction could have gone south very quickly with him being so disrespectful of my home. Positives: The clog was fixed Negatives: worker missed out on the "Proper door opening & closing techniques" training portion of orientation. Haggled for price.

EDIT: Travis did it again!! I had them come back because I ended up having a leak in a splitter that my husband had put in the line so I could have hot and cold water to another little washer on the other side of the laundry room. Travis took the time to figure things out and which way would be the best and most economical for me to have everything taken care of. Another great price and another outstanding job! So happy! I have one more batch of projects and I know who I'm calling again next time!! ************************ I could not be happier than I am with Roto-Rooter and Travis who did my repairs today. I live in an old trailer and had a leak in my drain pipe to my washing machine. I was sure it was going to cost a lot of money and take a lot of time and was worried that it could even be repaired at all. Travis got everything figured out and fixed in no time at an outstanding price!!. So nice, so polite, so thorough. I won't be calling anyone else if I ever need any kind of plumbing done. I found Roto Router via Angi. The speed they reached out and how quickly the tech arrived impressed me but that is where the good things end. When the tech arrived, he wouldn't listen to what I was trying to tell him about the leaking pipe. Then he walked around for 30 minutes doing nothing. It wasn't until the team sent over from the insurance told the guy the issue that he listened. After finally paying attention to someone he fixed the issue in 5 minutes, There is still some leakage under the house that he said would stop but days later it is still leaking. To be honest, I paid way more than I should have. I paid close to 700.00 for some guy to walk around for 30 minutes. This company will rip you off. They charge you for their techs to walk around doing nothing. For what I paid and for what he did my son could have done it for under 20.00. I would hire someone else unless you like paying people to do nothing.

I wanted to stop by and give a huge THANK YOU TO ROTO-ROOTER!! My garbage disposal had not been working for some time and it had started to drain slowly and stop up. Well it turned out that my garbage disposal needed a simple reset ....the technician that came out RJ37100A was super professional and explained to me exactly what the issue was and how I could actually reset it myself in the future if it ever happened again. Before I called I was thinking I would be out hundreds of dollars, I had actually gotten another company to come by before and they were trying to install a whole new garbage disposal!!! I'm so glad that I called Roto Rooter! This is a company and staff with integrity and that goes a VERY long way with me as a single mother! 5 stars for Travis who completed the repair. 1 star for dispatch (originally, but they made it right). Travis was great to deal with and made the circumstances much easier to deal with based on his attitude and professionalism. I would recommend him highly. The dispatch messed up and sent someone to an address that’s about 3 hours from us after I’d already been waiting a couple hours for someone. The bigger problem is that I had to move my staff out of the office because sewer was backing up into the office and I could not attend to my customers since I was waiting for the plumber to show up. However, when it was realized that this happened they quickly and professionally got Travis to our office to help resolve our issues.

Right place at the right time saved me $3,900! My roof is being replaced due to hurricane damage. I have a point of source gas water heater that has been working perfectly until the pilot light went out suddenly over the Thanksgiving holiday. Roofing co. sent a co out to fix. After examining the unit, he stated, “This unit is too old to fix. You will need a new one!” Price: $3,900! Luckily, I had reviewed other repair companies. RotoRooter came out the very next day and solved my problem! Nothing wrong with my unit! Back and working beautifully! Thank God there are still honest and reliable people out there! Can’t praise this company enough! Highly recommend!

Technician completed the job successfully and professionally. However my issue with this Roto-Rooter group was I called just after 8:00am. Was told someone would arrive by 10:30. An hour later I was called and told it would be another hour. Same thing after that hour. Finally after four hours I received a call technician was on his way. He arrived 2 hours later. After my asking if he was having a busy day he said no he just came on duty. Does not know why it would have taken over 5 hours before someone arrived. My opinion is poor service by the office team. Not sure if I would call this office or business again.

Nate came to my house to clear a blockage. He was a huge help to me. Not only did he clear the blockage, he educated me on what was causing the blockage, and how to prevent it from happening in the future. Roto-Rooter came to my house back in October for this same issue. Had Nate been the plumber that came to my house back in October, I’m certain that I would not have needed a plumber today. We had two unexpected issues crop up late in the day, and within an hour of calling, a plumber was at our house to help. Ross did a fantastic job - he inspected everything, explained the problems and solutions thoroughly before beginning, the work was done flawlessly and professionally, and it was completed in a quick but not rushed manner. I called Roto-Rooter to request emergency plumbing services for a bathroom flood on a Saturday night. They dispatched a plumber within a few hours who was very knowledgeable and determined the root cause of the flooding quickly. The plumber was able to clear the sewer pipe and resolve the flooding in a short amount of time. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs emergency plumbing services.

I was told the only way to access the pipe was to remove the toilet, so they could cut a hole in the wall, this would add a charge of $365!!! The hole that was cut was on a wall that could have been cut from the other side resulting in NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! I can literally place my hand in the hole and knock on the outer wall from the inside!!! All to charge more!

The water in my home backed up because of clogged pipes so I contacted Roto Rooter and they came very quickly. Their serviceman was efficient.and not only cleared the clog which existed in the foundation pipes but gave a 6 month warrsnty on their service. They will be the first company I’ll call if the problem ever re-0ccurs.
