Prices aren't the lowest in town...but the store is immaculate! Associates are very friendly and extremely helpful. for example: I just had surgery and a plain clothe officer walking by noticed my pain and me struggling straightening back. He stoped and asked me if I needed a hand. I said thanks but they're out. I was looking for a gallon of orange juice but they didn't have any more left. Now that could have just been the end of it. He could of said okay well have a nice day and walked off. But he didnt. Instead, he said hold on let me go back and check for you and he walked all the way back and around to check the cooler for me. He found some, put some on that bottom shelf and walk all the way back around with one in hand for me. That was very kind and that made it a great shopping experience for me :0)

I wasnt even going to give them a 1 star. Well i applied with them and everyone that day had an interview and i didnt. They were even hiring people who dont have any retail or grocery experience or cash register experience. Cuz they hired one person i know personally and that person cant even count money that well. So i called to get to an interview and i still didnt get hired then i called to see whats going on with my applications and asked to speak to the store manager i called twice and he never came to the phone. I have cashering experience and deli experience and they rather hire someone with no ecperince thats messed up.yhe store msnger was named manny.i dont recommend anyone to work here now. They discriminate people the way they look i suppose and what experience they have

It's a pretty good grocery store. They have a good selection of produce and spices. And the meat selection is pretty impressive and always fresh. They have seafoods as well, although I rarely ever buy fresh seafood. But you can find a lot of stuff you don't usually find at most grocers. I remember when this location used to be a Winn Dixie or Harvey's a few years back and now its Rowes. At first I thought it was a mistake opening another grocery store here because the previous one never seem to do that well but I'm actually kind of glad that they put Rowes here. I love their products and It seems to help surrounding businesses a little better and people seem to really like it here. The employees are nice and I always have a pretty good experience. So far I love it! :)

Usually when I shop here, I have a 5 star experience. I got in a cashier's line tonight. There was no one else in line. The young woman at the register with the high hair bun was folding some bags. Her back was turned to me and she didn't acknowledge me. I said hello and she said "I heard you" and continued doing what she was doing with the bags with her back to me. She didn't give any type of courteous acknowledgment. I told her that was unacceptable and went to the self-check out. I had to refrain from "comin' outta North Philly " on her. It wouldn't have been productive. I spoke to the manager outside who had been helpful on prior visits. The manager knew exactly who I was talking about. I hope he gets her on track.

So sorry this is the second time I've gone their since they open this location. The store is very clean & neatly organized. But prices on meat ridiculous!!! Was looking for chicken backs & necks which I use to make stock & do chicken & rice, & dressing. They were priced at $2.59 a pound making small pkgs starting at $6. I also use to get turkey wings tips & do the same thing but then looked discolored & high. I know things are getting higher but we use to be able to get backs & necks & even fry them. Know better places to get my meats at reasonable prices.

My number 1 store but dont order a cake bc after 4 phone calls, long time waiting on hold, and a baker who doesnt know to actually decorate cakes or how to make light color icing this will be the last time I order a cake from here. Lady finally came back to the phone laughing....smh. I love how clean and amazing this store is but I'm over it with the bakery. Still 5 stars for the overall store! Update: Well they made it right by giving me a free cake for not having it ready on time when I went to pick it up.

I hate self checkout! Watched another customer ring up his entire purchase because credit card in the machine which was denied.... but the man just grabbed his stuff and walked right out the door and left the screen on denied! They keep thinking that thieves are what's causing all of the problems in the stores with revenue and it's not it's normal people stealing stuff! Normal people walking right out after pretending to pay! Sad part is this was a on a Sunday and dude looked like he was dressed for church!

I am most impressed that the store is always immaculately stocked. It reminds me of the high standards of.... well... Publix.. I feel the products here are clean and the overall product variety, i.e Produce,Seafood, Deli, and meats, are well considered. Though the prices are not the cheapest I feel the quality meets product here. Also the staff are friendly which is always a plus for me. Since my last experience here, Tom a manager there was open to a product suggestion I offered. That shows great effort.

Today was the first time our family shopped at the Edgewood Rowes and are we ever happy we did!!! They have a “lunchplate” deli where we selected bbq ribs, fried okra, rice and Lima beans!!! Also several tables to sit and eat if you can’t wait to get back to your car! The Deli Manager, Mr. Wendell greeted us with a warm smile and treated us like we were longtime family members. His bbq ribs alone are worth coming in for Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ Rowe’s!!!!! We will come back again soon

For right now I've been shopping at roses IGA store because right now that prices are very reasonable compared to Harvey Publix and Winn-Dixie and right now since my money is very tight I choose to go to IGA because I can work with that prices on a budget please please don't get me wrong I'm not saying that the other stores are not good stores I'm just saying since it's a price increase in everything including food right now Rose's IGA is where I prefer to shop at because I can afford their price

I went to the seafood dept to purchase steamed crabs and shrimp the experience was less than favorable. One guy didn't know how to use the steamer, so he got another guy to do it he was rude and acted like he didn't want to do it. He didn't tell me how long it would take to steam, in fact he left the dept. When he came back he still didn't say anything. It took so long I left and went to another store. Terrible Customer Service!!!!

Clean, organized to Jacksonville standards. Meaning for the OCD it is not organized. Walk in and you smell a stench. You can find a variety on international foods such as; west indian, latin, asian, jewish. People are sweet and professional. I would give a four star once smell goes away. I took one star because I have OCD and thier organization is a trigger. But learning to get use to Jacksonville un-organization in all stores.

I felt very disciminated as soon as I walked in front door a guy in a pink shirt came to me &said is that a bag in your cart? I said no it's .my rain jacket. I also brought .my friend here.Mr Pink shirt came to .me again & accused me concealing medicine .I said ididn't it's right in clear view.Well I put my 2items down and pro needed to leave.Again Mr Pink shirt had someone look in my purse.I felt discriminated & humiliated.

Rowes Supercenter is in a convenient location, it's very large, clean and well maintained. It contains a Cafe, Deli and its meat, vegetables and produce including Seafood dept. is second to none. The prices are good for the budget minded shoppers. The staff I'd friendy and helpful. The large parking lot is clean with plenty of handicapped spots including large dedicated . entrance and the lot is well lighted.

That was my first visit. The produce was fresh, they a large variety to choose from. Some items was .10 .20 center higher is price that was ok. The meat department was awesome. when I got to the register wait time was fine. Groceries were bagged I placed all bags in basket I proceeded to get my checkbook to write a check for $136.00 to find out they don't except check. I walked out. Want go back.

Store seems clean enough. Not very good lighting. No bogos. Prices about the same as Winn Dixie. I always buy Kraft block cheese. They don't carry it. So I tried the IGA brand. Did not care for the taste. Also needed hamburger meat. They only carry 73% lean. They don't have much of a bakery. Went today 3/22/23. No change. I didn't get lemons for .50 each. They were .68 each at Walmart.

This Rowe's is nice. The area was clean and lots of room. Employees are nice. Selection is great. Nice cuts of meat. I don't live on that side of town and was passing through, but I would shop there as much as possible if I was there. The deli looked delicious also. Bright lights, clean floors and shelves, and lots of space. Nice job y'all! You can tell people are happy working there.

Store was clean and had a variety of food and meats to choose from. For all cultures. Lots of seasoning to choose also. Just not a fan of all the self checkouts. Especially when you have multiple pieces of items you have to scan. One at a time. Got to look up various produce items to get how much it weigh. I'll just pass on grocery shopping there if they don't have any cashier's.

Super clean store and Great at keeping up with Inventory. I, myself, rather shop at Walmart as i can save $$$ for just driving 8 minutes to the Walmart off of Normandy A bag of Doritos at Rowes is $4.99 At Walmart its $2.50 $2.49 adds up Great deals on cases or gallons of water but everything else is priced ridiculously high just like Winn Dixie. No thanks!

This was my 1st time at this location. I will say the store is very clean. Only 2 stars because of the self check out cashier was very very rude. One of my items rang up the wrong price I called out to her and she said very nasty Im doing something you got to wait.(God keep me from snapping on her)She is the reason I will not go back.

Wow... where do I start! It's so easy to shop, the aisles are so wide and open. The items are plentiful and easy to find. The produce is top notch and fresh like you like it. And the employees are very helpful and friendly . I was in and out in no time at all. I am very happy and I will shop here every time I'm in town.

I took my mom here to grocery shop. When she ask for help on how to use her health food card she was told they don't accept them there. After she went home a friend of hers called the store and come to find out they do accept the health food cards. The man lied. He should not work there if he's going to be lazy and lie.

I love this store meats always fresh always well stock nice staff..... and there cakes are to die for I brought my god mom a cake from there n the ladies cook me up on short late notice !!! The cash register had some issues & I was in a hurry 2 get back 2 work. Thx 2 nice demeabored blk gal helping me several times in lane 95! She came 2 help without me calling/ pls. give her a raise as that is unusual & she went above 2 help several times with a great attitude! Awesome employee!! : )

I have lived off of Edgewood near Commonwealth since 1994. I have never been happier with a store than yours. Thank you for stepping up when Harvey's pulled out. It is probably one of the best things that happened in this neighborhood. And your prices aren't bad either

It's very different from the other Rowe's I have visited. It's very clean and very well organized. I like that a lot. It has more freezer food, and seafood. Overall I will be going to this now instead of Dunn Ave. and Blanding & 103rd. Don't get me wrong I love Rowe's.

I absolutely love the variety at this store. I normally go to the commissary on base & its better than there. So many options from different brands & cultures. Definitely my go-to. I haven't priced checked yet though - thats the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Beautiful grocery. It's organized, well stocked, and even has many varieties of products for Caribbean-American and Latin-American who are looking for a taste of home. I am very impressed by their offerings. Prices aren't too bad either. I will definitely return.

IGA stores are a sort of alternative to most grocery chains in the area. You're going to find many cool niche items here, especially Asian and Hispanic foods that you won't find at most chain stores. As this is a new site, the redesign is attractive and clean.

This is a dump. Only in the black community will they allow bad fruits and Veggies, but the cost in this store differ from the cost in the three other stores they have. This store is much higher as prices are concerned. As always..."Give it to the Colored's".

The owner is a great friend and business man. I'm glad he opened the store at Edgewood and Commonwealth where Harvey's was before it closed. That created a food desert for the Paxon community, we're grateful for his decision. Your friend, your old Peanutman.

Not a bad grocery store. Good people, decent prices. The only thing I would say is that you can normally find different ethnic foods at Rose's but not so much at this one. They have small small sections here. Other then that it's a good place.

My first time at this Rowe's. This is way classier looking than the Rowe's close to my house. Like totally different. But the one close to my house has a lot of items I can't find in other store so I still like it. This one's nice though.

Staff is a bunch of kids who like to talk rough too family's and think racist remarks are something to be used in front of and to children. I'll never allow my kids to walk in to this place again.

It is big and good products but the Beach Blvd store has 100% more varieties in the products. Especially Spanish. Asian and Caribbean items.
