The last Sunday I parked in Alamo Square and our car was stolen. A guy broke the Windows glasses and run. We never saw him, and we came back to the car after 15 min walking and we saw all the broken glasses. Immediately we called 911 and at the same time a police officer was looking for a car without glass because another cop got a guy running with some personal belonging. Immediately they followed the protocol and after about 45 min we received everything back. They were very professional and proactive as they got the suspect. We were very lucky... And they advised us that never leave personal belongings in SF inside the car...no body told us before. Thank you officers. We will never forget SFPD (North District Police Dept.) thx!
Called about a strange man outside the preschool I work at- he was trying to open doors and turn knobs on the fire pipes outside the front door. He started stacking batteries, medicine bottles and weird computer parts in front of the door way.... I talked to someone at the station and they sent me to “dispatch” and I sat on hold for 15mins... Listening to the same recording over and over. All I asked was for a quick drive by to see what was up- the Officer who picked up at the station couldn’t just send out a “hey can someone drive by this school!” I’m sure he connected to their dispatch!! So pissed. So disappointed.
The receptionist was of very poor caliber, she clearly does not care for those she is meant to help. We met with her over the two day after a harrowing robbery if our beloved items and we left with a very poor experience both times. Not only did she speak up very well, but after not giving us clear instructions stated "that we just weren't listening." Life is what you make it, and clearly this woman is not equipped with the proper tools to stay in this line of work, making an already and situation worse.
The officer did not care enough to write a police report for a sexual assault and a theft case; therefore, putting my life and the lives of other women in my 74 unit building in danger. We needed the police to help us investigate our landlord. I along with other women feel scared and ignored. I guess women do not matter in San Francisco. #MeToo
There is literal no people waiting in the hall, and only 2 officer in there claim they can't make a report for me. Too busy. And yes, the glorious SF window breaking is such a flagship industry. You don't have to call police or go to the local station. Just fill the form online yourself, such convenience. 10/10
A car backed into my bumper right across the street outside McDonald's. The driver refused to show insurance. I went into the station for help. The officer was rude and cold, showed absolutely no interest in helping out.
The women working in the front window was rude and had no compassion. She gave very unclear instructions and when we returned the next day she gave us even more of an attitude almost annoyed by us entering for help.
only one rude polic officer at the front desk. More than one hour of waittime without getting help. Cannot believe there were so many people came here to file a report and only one lazy officer doing the job.
The officer’s attitude are so rude, and what he said is lie. Also, the police officers definitely know who’s the thief, but don’t want to catch him. Don’t ever trust the police in SFO
A while back they assisted me on harassing phone calls (2 weeks of it) from a bank that refused to believe I was not the person they were looking for, they took care of it promptly
Hello . Thank you for a nice meeting with SGT 2351, SFPD NORTHERN STATION. I hope to see you sometime in the future. Sincerely, Police Officer David Fischer Czech Republic.
Only one police officer here who can take reports. The other police officer/ front desk person cannot take reports.!? The wait is long with only 1 police officer.
I’ve been calling for hours to report an attempted break-in. They do not answer the phone ever.
ALWAYS respond in a quick and polite manner. Wonderful service.
They never answer the phone! Unbelievable.
Terrible service, not willing to help
Over glorified night watchmen.
