After several attempts to get my own electrician back to finish off the jobs he hadnt finished was met with no response, I decided to call SWAP to see if they could close out the remaining work. Left a message and got a call back a couple days later. Booked the appointment which they easily accommodated my preferred day and time. Tech arrived as per our agreed time and called me before to re confirm. Was in and out in about 2.5 hrs with all work completed satisfactorily. The first 2 pieces were basic powerpoint work, the 3rd piece was a bathroom fan connection. My own electrician was put off by the fan connection originally and said it couldnt work with my existing wiring. SWAP came in and after just a brief assessment he was already positive he could make it work. Which in the end he did and with no major alteration to the cabling or switches. Great job and im wrapped now those pieces of work are finished which means I can continue with my renovations. Excellent pricing too no over the top ridiculous charges. Would I recommend them? Absolutely

SWAP electricians visited our recently purchased 1940 Art Deco apartment to upgrade: electrical wiring, fittings and appliances (fans, lights, antenna connections, wall mounted ironing board, & a new fuse box). Their work was done well, patiently and with them discussing with us options as issues arose (given the age of the building fabric). Invoices were detailed with certificates of compliance attached. Highly recommended. Update (Mar. '23) SWAP have now also completely rewired and upgraded our kitchen - powerpoints, lighting, and dedicated circuits for Induction Cooktop, oven and exhaust fan. Uplights (above upper cabinets) illuminate ceiling; downlgihts (below the upper cabinets) illuminate benchtop & cooktop; Uplights above window pelment releases more light when ambient light outside is darken (during cloudy, Melbourne afternoons!). Great work!

Wow! What great service. They arrived early (with prior warning) - quite a rare event with tradespeople in my expereince. They were also quite innovative and creative in their work - using bits and pieces from their van to integrate the 'old' and the 'new'! As well as carrying out their work in a techically superior manner they were extremely courteous, most clean an tidy in their presentation and performance, and a pleasure to have in the house. Even the Invoice, received the next day, was a pleasant surprise. Who in their right mind would swap to any other electrician?

I've now used SWAP Electrics twice and have found them responsive and professional both times. Both times, I was kept informed when the electrician would attend and upon arrival the electrician was quick to ascertain the issue and resolve. The repairs were conducted quickly, respectfully to me and my property and due to the professionalism and knowledge of the electricians kept to minimum time required. Consequently, I'm happy with the value. I'll continue to use SWAP Electrics going forward.

Kerstin and Alec from Swap were so professional and helpful. I needed my property rewired and new lights, switches and sockets installed. They took great care with my house and completed the work quickly and efficiently.
