They thanked me for trying their service for the first time and invited me to return again. · When I got into the car, a personalized thank you card was left on my dash with candies to enjoy on the way home. · A week later a follow up phone call was made to ensure everything was to my satisfaction, and it was. Wow, they get it!

Not happy with being mislead about the price of mounting and balancing my tires. Background - before choosing SWC, I went on Hunter's website (premium brand for tire mount and balance equipment) and searched for local shops with Hunter 'Road Force' (or Road Force Elite) machines. SWC has this equipment, is close to home and the price they quoted was competitive and I even explained at the time of booking how I found them and why I'm calling there (specifically for the equipment they have). Booked an appointment and brought my truck in with new tires in the bed. Part way through the service I get a call saying a few wheels need Road Force adjustment for an ADDITIONAL FEE of $46/wheel! If all four needed it, mount and balance at SWC is over $300. That's insane and I was not told this ahead of time. I would have assumed the quoted price included using the equipment they have, the way it was designed to be used. At the VERY least been told up front there is an additional fee...at which time I would not have gone there in the first place but I was then stuck with my truck on a hoist with no wheels. First and last time there unfortunately. Seems like a nice shop. I even "want" to use them in the future but I don't like being mislead and it makes me concerned about what other 'up charge' items might arise if my vehicle is in for service and in pieces on a hoist when you really don't have a choice but to proceed.

May 11, 2023. My spring visit for oil change and tire swap. Team is friendly and staff keeps you in the know as to the condition of your vehicle and suggested maintenance. It was time to schedule the tire swap and thought I would give them a try. Very professional, friendly and easy to book an appointment. The value added, I was able to obtain a loaner car for the day which was fantastic as I could go about running my errands without interruption. The service team took photos of my vehicle, ran a complete diagnostic and emailed me the results with suggestions. I truly appreciate it as there were certain items that needed to be attended to, due to safety and with out Canadian winter quickly approaching. The biggest surprise, a thank you note left on the dash along with a couple of mints. I had to smile. Customer service all the way. Thank you for a great first time experience. See you in the Spring. Manager Steve is absolutely rude and shouldn’t be working in customers. To question a bill and not actually have what was asked to be done by the customer and then to Kick them out of the shop bc they question the pricing… hope your business fails horribly. Sincerely and older woman on a tight budget Update: You were over, quoting and trying to rip off a woman. It was asked for a diagnostic test, which was never done. Only photos of the tires and auto body which was not asked to be done. There is no refusal to pay. Steve refused to accept payment because he did not want to answer the questions that were being asked. And then he kicked out a customer for wondering why the quote was above average pricing. Before you try to make it to be a story about refusing to pay… Her credit card was in her hand so get that straight. You are horrible, horrible company. I will never recommend you to anybody and I hope people read this and learn not to go to your place. I have found somebody, so thank you for kicking my mother out of your place because we found it for way cheaper and with proper customer service. Steve you shouldn’t be working with the public.

I brought in my Mercedes SUV for a standard Service "B" service. After a couple days my coolant light came on and my vehicle lost heat, so I had to bring it back in. Sandra and the team re-looked at my vehicle and re-flushed on coolant which seemed to temporary fix the issue. However, the same day my low coolant light came on again and I lost heat the following day. So I dropped off my vehicle again and with a through investigation it was discovered that one of my hoses had a slight crack. The hose was replaced and everything is working as its supposed to. I was really impressed with Sandra and the team as they were quick to make availability to look at the problem immediately. It's times like these when things do go wrong and they will, you want a company that will take accountability to fix the problem which SWC Automotive consistently does. I was even more impressed with the White Glove Service as they offered to drop my vehicle off at my home at no extra charge. I few months ago I was looking for an automotive business that could help me with an ongoing but annoyingly sporadic problem with my 9 year old vehicle. I had received advertising material from SWC & was drawn to their philosophy on customer service. After doing my due diligence & checking them out I decided they may just be the place I had been looking for to be my "go to" business where I felt comfortable & confident that they would be fair & honest. As a senior woman I have not always felt at ease in the world of automotive repair but Sandra, Steve , Fred and the rest of the SWC gang worked diligently to locate and fix the problem. The way they adressed & handled any problems which arose in determining exactly what the problem was spoke volumes for their integrity, patience & generosity of spirit & has renewed my faith that there are reputable business folks out their who do value their customers & do their very best to provide quality service. I did Oil change, tire change, engine light inspection and fixing water not coming from one of the wiper nozzle. For just diagnosing water not coming out of wiper they took 92 CAD + Tax, after that another 95 CAD for labor and parts. I think its ridiculous to charge 92 cad + tax for diagnosis: 1. I was not told in advance that there will be any charge for diagnosis of such a simple matter of water not coming out of wiper. As a result, I was expecting that they will directly fix such a small issue with labor and parts charges. 2. Any literate experience mechanic would tell that there is a issue with that specific wiper nozzle and no issue with pump or anything else since water is coming out perfectly from the other nozzle. What type of rocket scientist is needed for this diagnosis? And in that way, every small issue will attract a diagnosis charge of 92 CAD which is ridiculous. I understand diagnosis charges for complex issues where there are warning lights flashing on the dashboard.

Steven, Fred and their entire team are absolutely amazing! One thing I cannot stress enough is my high level of trust. That of which would be 6 stars with SWC Automotive. They have serviced multiple vehicles (2 Infiniti, 1 Acura, 1 Ford Mustang, 1 Dodge Ram) for me over the years and they always work with integrity and look out for your best interest. On many occasions, they have found deficiencies or issues that need my attention and to validate, provide photo's and a recommendation. With a new vehicle, the dealer who sold me the car couldn't find the problem but when I took it to SWC, they found the cause without issue. They have even made a house visit (Subject to required work) when it was far more efficient for all parties and on other occasions provided a loaner vehicle. No repair is too small or too large, and I will always refer and recommend SWC to anyone who needs a trust worthy, high calibre auto service shop.

I've been searching for a new mechanic since I don't need to go into the office anymore for work (Sorry Howard!). I've tried a few with not much luck, but happy to say that I have found one as of today! Such a pleasant experience from booking the appt, to picking up the car (mints were a nice touch!). Everything needing to be done was fully explained by text (link to website) with pictures and why it needed to be done. I was also pleasantly surprised to be offered a free loaner car! I thought that my rear wiper motor was broke but it turned out not to be the case, so really appreciated the due diligence and honesty when it didn't turn out to be the case. For me a mechanic choice comes down to trust, reliability, and customer experience. SWC certainly checked all 3 for me! I'll miss my old mechanic, but looking forward to building another great relationship here.

I was referred to SWC Automotive by a friend. I was told they are knowledgeable, honest & fair pricing. He was right but I will add amazing customer service you don't find anymore from the first call I made I knew I made the right choice going to SWC . The customer area is clean and added mini fridge with complimentary cold drinks. They completed all the work ahead of schedule and when I picked up the car, there was a thank you card with 2 mints. Perfect touch guys!! Not only was there a thank you card in my car, 3 days later I had a call to follow up with my recent experience with this automotive shop. I have been in the tire business for 25yrs so I know a lot of shops but moving to another city made going that far with my cars current state difficult. I highly recommend this shop for quality work & outstanding customer service / appreciation! I will be back

Finding a mechanic for our cars is a lot like finding a good doctor or barber. You just want someone that's reliable, honest and knowledgeable. These guys are just that. After our previous mechanic retired, we were in search of someone we could trust that had experience. After seeing their ad in the newspaper (remember those?) and online, we decided to try them out. We gave them a challenge, as my car was having strange electronic/power issues. They were very thorough and fair priced. And the customer service is the best, always friendly and they even text us in case we cannot use our phones. We even got a loaner car while ours was being looked at. I could trust what they were telling us regarding the issue we had and will have no problem taking our vehicles there in the future. Thanks for all your help (so far), SWC!

These guys did a great job and were very welcoming and friendly. I previously took my 98 BMW 3 Series to a well known "Performance Shop" for an alignment where they told me my tie rods were seized and all of my rear adjustments were seized and rusty. I ordered new tie rods and replaced them, when replacing I saw the old ones were not seized and they had used the wrong size wrench or something and completely rounded the holding area. I also checked the rear and there was no rust and nothing was seized. Took the car into SWC and they did a great job, had no issues aligning my car, rear is in spec and the car drives great. The other shop was just lazy and they still charged me too. Will definitely be recommending SWC to my friends who also had bad experiences at the other shop.

Steve and his team have saved me thousands of $$ compared to Mercedes dealership! They actually found the root problem, repaired it and did a complete inspection of my ML350 SUV while it was in for these repairs! SWC is the real deal here in Burlington, friendly service, pricing that is truly "FAIR" and warranty on both Parts & Labour (who does that these days!!!) I live in Burlington and I try my best to spend my Service dollars to all Retailers in our fair city, as they are the life blood of our city! Highly, recommend SWC for your auto needs! Plus, if you need a loaner for the day while they have your car, its provided too and NO CHARGE !! Again, who does this these days!!! Give SWC a call, you will not be disappointed ! Not surprised to see all the other alignment complaints. Got new suspension installed before hand else where and asked for a alignment to make sure everything was good even though my steering wheel was straight and everything seemed fine. Until I got an alignment. After driving a while I thought it was just the curve of the road but it’s very obviously not centred. They even test drove my car and handed me the keys after it’s clearly not fixed. Very unfortunate and unprofessional. No attempts to return my call or resolve the issue after I was assured I would be contacted by the owner. There is no other explanation other then it was done incorrectly and now I have to pay twice once for a botched job and again to fix your mistake.

Excellent Service. All work done on my car was done on time and of a very high standard . I have dealt with SWC for a few years now and have never been disappointed with the work they do . From the time you first go ( no matter what the problem ) in to the time you pick up your vehicle the service is First and you are made to feel very confident with the work being done. The Service Manager Sandra is very knowledgeable and the guys in the shop do excellent work. Matthew work on my car this time. The whole experience is very good. For those who require a Loner vehicle they also arrange that so you are never without a vehicle , which is very important for a lot of people. I would and have recommended SWC to many people.

Took the Mazda 3 in for a looksee just to make sure all was good for the foreseeable future and for preventative maintenance. Being my son's first car, I wanted to make it was going to survive the summer plus. Had an issue with squealing brakes which over time had lost it's lube appeal. Re-lubed and acting as they should be. Spark Plugs I wanted checked as well as I figure they saw the end of their life some 50,000 km's ago and sure enough they were quite worn and subsequently replaced. 02 Sensor was discovered to be faulty via the engine light and also was replaced. Belts also replaced due to some cracking and dryness. Overall an Extremely Positive Experience for Simple Peace of Mind Going Forward.

This is what I call a 5 star service !!!! I followed a flyer that I got in my mailbox couple of days ago, I needed an oil change. Setting the appointment was fast and easy over the phone, dropping the car in the morning was pleasant and professional in a friendly atmosphere. I was told about an inspection, and I was expecting the classic inspection with a discussion at the end, but to my surprise I got an incredible report full of pictures and details on my phone. When I got my car back, I got a complete estimate for all the recommended repairs ... great ... and a "thank you" card on the dash (with candies). I thank you SWC Automotive Inc., and I can tell you that you got a new customer.

I have taken my car to SWC for a few years now. I live in Hamilton but its worth the drive to Burlington because not only are they honest, they are knowledgeable and recommend only what I need done and never over price their services. I've had horrible experiences in the past with other shops but after finding these guys I will continue to be a loyal customer and appreciate their hard work and dedication in getting the job done. And just wanted to add these guys will actually explain in detail and show you the parts they need to replace because I'm the type of person who knows nothing about cars and would agree to a "Johnson Rod" if told I needed one. I booked late Saturday afternoon for Monday to repair a very noisy exhaust system. No problem booking me in. I left my vehicle Sunday night in their well lit lot using the lock box with the service request form. Very quick. They sent me a text by 9:30 Monday morning with a link to my vehicle report that included picture of the items needing repair as well as items that might be considered. Simple but very effective. They texted me my vehicle would be ready by 5:00 and was just being completed when I walked in. Maybe I waited 10-15 minutes. Settled the bill with no surprises and my vehicle was waiting outside the door. This is my third visit to SWC and I will return.

Steve, Fred and crew never fail to solve even the most challenging problems. Old cars (like mine) or new, Steve and crew are there. Fair and honest, Street Wyze has what other shops lack: heart. ...and as can be seen from the photo I added, they're not just mechanics, they're car doctors. Street Wyze isn't just custom modifications, they do it all and do so with so much care, care for every car brought into their garage and just as much for their owners. Even after I leave Burlington (hopefully soon given that city council seems hell bent on including speed bumps on every street) I won't bring my car anywhere else, Street Wyze is the best.

They gave me a great appointment time, changed my oil in a very reasonable time-frame and were very supportive. Also, while other services tried to get me to pay for upgrades that were not necessary, they advised me honestly. This was my first visit here after my trusted mechanic retired. Impressed from start to finish of the whole process. Loaner vehicle was great, extremely convenient! Kind, friendly and genuine people! Their report system is incredible, high quality photos and explanations given to you prior to making any repair decisions. Had to leave my vehicle overnight for a decent sized job and it was completed before close the following day, got to keep the loaner the entire time. Clayton was extremely accommodating and helped me out when I was in a real pinch. He gave me the number of a reliable tow truck company and called me as soon as they opened in the morning to make sure everything had gone as planned. My car was being worked on immediately and was ready that day to drive away. I had quotes for services that will need to be done in the future in list of priority for my very old car that needs a lot of work done. He also took the time to explain the importance of the urgent items as well as what might be ok to hold off on. My experience was fantastic.

This is an honest place to get your car fixed as they send you a detailed description of what is wrong with your car with photos. Also if they can repair a part they will do it unlike other places who will just charge you for a whole new part. AND this is the kicker I hate dropping off my car as my life stops I can’t take the kids anywhere and do groceries but they have a loaner car you can use while yours is being serviced at no charge. What? That’s right no charge! Give these guys a shot as they are doing car repairs and customer service right! This place is changing the game!

I had a squeal coming from the engine ...... the belt or pulleys were making a noise. Asked SWC to investigate and turns out to be belt rubbing against side of other parts. This was due to one of the pulleys having some play. The repair was completed but I experienced a shake in the steering wheel after the service. SWC requested that I bring the car in to be reviewed while I waited...this was accomplished within a few days and they corrected the problem. Would recommend this garage for any repairs/service and for honest feedback and fair costs.

We discovered SWC this week, and found this firm to be extraordinary. The receptionist/ staff were very professional and courteous. Service was thorough and on time. Each service activity was thoroughly explained. After service was done the mechanic went over the vehicle from front to back, at no additional charge, and completed a detailed sheet for our records, including photographs, all sent to our home computer.. Excellent service!, went in for an oil change, I was given a full run down of all the suggested work needed, which was both printed out with estimates as well as an email that included pictures of the areas of interest. I was Not made to feel like I couldn't drive away without having this work done, simply that it was needed if I was interested in keeping the car on the road for much longer. It is an older vehicle with enough km's on it to reach the moon and back. Friendly, and thorough. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

First time I used this company no problem had a great experience. Called today to ask about installing at battery and they were uninteresting in helping. They claim to offer roadside assistance but won't come & install a battery? The worst part is that they were going to do it but when they couldn't find anyone to come out today all of sudden said they don't do that when I asked to book an appointment. I will NOT be using them in the future & will be letting everyone who needs car repair to avoid this company.

This was the first time having my car serviced at SWC. I needed my rear brakes replaced and SWC was recommended by a close friend of mine. I am so glad I listened to her. The customer service was exceptional! The communication was really great, with convenient text updates and a comprehensive, easy to read summary of all the checks and balances including photos. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and they made it an easy, convenient experience. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Had a very good experience at SWC. They explained and sent video of the problems and I found them reasonably priced. It was great to know about the work needed and not just told but shown. Very professional, organized and clean. Shuttle service was great also and was offered a courtesy car but not needed. I believe my 16 year old car is good for another 100,000 km and I am so glad I went there. On top of the required service, I bothered them for a couple of minor fixes and they took care of it all.

Fantastic place to take your car for repair. Very thorough explanations, detailed breakdown of costs, staff are amazing, we felt pricing was fair. This was our second time here... Sadly we did not proceed with the repairs as car is just getting too old. Shannon and Clayton were great throughout it all. Even helping us with getting rid of it now. I moved from Brampton to Burlington last year and I was looking for a good mechanic to service my Mercedes. I thought I found one but when the final bill came I got the feeling I got soaked. When I needed some work done on my car I turned to SWC Automotive.They did only what was required. Car was ready when they promised and final bill came very close to their quote. I found staff very friendly and knowlegable. I will most definitly use their service again

Clayton and the entire staff at SWC are amazing. They keep you apprised every step and never do work without confirming first. They are honest and only do the work required. I love the digital readout they send by text that tells me everything about my car... what are immediate needs vs suggested service. I can then call them to go over it and decide what I want done. It is also the cleanest shop I have ever been in. Highly recommend.

I found the waiting room area warm and inviting with free tea while watching Netflix and a great informative assessment of my car situation. I was given options and useful information on how to go about the various issues I face with my car. The service was fast and thorough, a helpful friendly place to take my car with very reasonable cost compared to many other car repair shops. Had my oil change and repair done in good time.

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of getting brake repair done by SWC. Absolutely stellar service! They give you a printout of things that you could get checked out because of the age of your car! They are punctual, friendly and give detailed descriptions of what needs to be done. Always very affordable and honest work with quick turn arounds. Very frequent and comprehensive communication and great attention to detail on every vehicle, new or old. The inspection report you get every time they have your car in, is a big plus; super helpful to plan ahead for maintenance and bigger repairs. 10/10 would recommend, have been bringing both our cars to them for a few years.

I sound SWC on Google the morning after striking a deer. I knew o needed an alignment. They got me on the same day, did the alignment and checked for other suspension/steering issues. They processed a safety check and certification for me. The second time I would be using them and they exceeded my expectations this time around. Well informed as to what work was needed and how much it would cost. In fact when the mechanic went to complete work, found that some of the parts quoted on were not needed, resulting in dollars in my pocket. Find the staff to be professional, courteous, and above board in honesty. Loaner car provided as a courtesy.
