Worst service ever. Got the car not cleaned with a lot rubbish inside including half drinking water bottles and left over eaten foods. I had to tidy and clean the car as no other alternatives. Got told to return with full tank fuel but after I checked only half inside which I had to ask the girl to witness. They gave me the car just returned without checking and cleaning. Not as promised like advertised cleaning and hygiene. When doing the payment, I asked the girl what’s the difference between paying by card or cash but told no difference. Charged me card surcharge straightaway and I requested to pay cash instead but offered that they would refund me the surcharge if sending bank details. After sending the bank details, being yelled by the lady as stupid request and wouldn’t refund anything, meanwhile threatening me that they didn’t even charge me $80 for cleaning though I got a super dirty car! Not honest business at all with worst service. Won’t try them. Very disappointed.

Absolutely terrible! Hired a truck on the Wednesday before Christmas to move family to Qld. Truck broke down before Port Macquarie. Spent overnight on the side of the road. They paid for a hotel for the next night, mechanic came and fixed the fan belts, then it broke down again as the motor had blown. Had to spend another 1,000.00 to get another truck. Finally made it to Qld late Friday night, xmas eve with a six month old baby. Furniture didnt get to us till monday, so three days in the house with no furniture. Layla from Sydney Wide rentals has refuse to refund for the hire if the truck, which is still sitting in Kempsey, even though the mechanic has sent paperwork twice with a diagnosis of what happened. She is refusing stating she is waiting to get the truck back to Sydney first. Matter is now with fair trading. Absolutely disgusting way to treat a young family. Avoid at all cost. Sydney Wide Rentals is the best and most reliable rental company I have ever used in Australia. The vehicle was great, reliable and the customer service is second to none. Not something I have found in other rentals. I required a vehicle for a week *(I thought) I needed it asap, Laila organised it for me. I turned up late for it, she waited for me outside hours. After the week, it turned into several months and Laila continued to be helpful and accommodating and made a very stressful time easy. I kept changing my plans and it was no issue with a smile. If i ever need a rental I will be back.

Worst customer service. My booking firstly showed a 12 seater minibus with a reverse camera and sensors, I did not get either of them. The car broke down on the highway and I am being told contaminated diesel was put in, how am I supposed to know that? wheel alignment was off but I just got told by their staff that its been recently serviced. There was not 1 apology for the issues we faced. Also the bus smelt like BO when we got it, I had to go get air fresheners straight away as it stunk that bad. Will never be booking with them again.

Not responsible company, just renting a mini bus for 5days without heater on the back but when we ask for check on the pick up day they just give a quick check without confirming the heat was working, and when we comeback and ask them is not fair to rent a vehicle with a bad condition he just said he doesn’t know abt it, you should know your vehicle before you rent it is not fair for customers to handling this type of issue, we paid full price for good vehicles, definitely not recommended and not coming back .

In December 2018 a removalist van hired by Sydney Wide Rentals left their rear doors swinging into two cars at a set of lights causing significant damage to both of them. I was driving mine at the time with two kids in the back. The management at SWR were rude and provided virtually no assistance in getting my car fixed. The driver has drip fed an amount of money over almost 18 months falling 645 dollars short. Zero help from SWR - extremely disappointed.

I hired a truck from Sydney Wide Rentals for the weekend of 19/20 October 2020 to move house. Excellent service and a great price. These guys are really easy to do business with and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend these guys if you need a small truck to move house. I especially like the 'unlimited kilometres' as it makes their price much cheaper if you are moving a long distance. Thanks heaps Sydney Wide Rentals.

We hired a vehicle from these guys worst experience ever no communication between husband and wife, the husband signs us up and said don’t worry about cleaning we didn’t get a chance to clean the vehicle, then Leila the wife calls very rude and dry and demands we pay cleaning fee of $80 and petrol, we picked up the vehicle with 1/4 tank and returned it 1/4 tank DONT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS AT ALL

They provide unlimited kms, no bond and they went above and beyond for us. You just don't get the same extraordinary service from the big companies like Hertz, budget etc. We will rent from here again in a heartbeat!

I rented Nissan X trail 2017 for 2.5 weeks. The customer service from the team was exceptional and helpful. The best part is the Price. I do not think anyone can match their Price. Terrible Service, looting customer for unnecessary charges. We hired 12 seater and gave back with good cleaning but still charged for not cleaned thoroughly. So, they are giving with unlimited kms but then charging cleaning fees.
