Sam Removal are very expensive and staff are very inexperienced. For the company, I would give one star. However, as the two boys works really hard, I added a star for them. We had them removed two houses yesterday. They charged us not only the hours they worked but also a few extra fees in the middle of removing. I paid but I was really unhappy. The staff are inexperienced. The poor little two boys work really hard but they need more training to work safely and effectively. The third guy (boss/supervisor) spends too much time on his phone and argued with me. I understood they have difficulty to take the double bed base down stairs as it was narrow and steep. However, I wasn't happy because they did not know they needed to remove glides first. They had trouble to unclick/click Sofa parts and they lifted the sofa parts from the back to front without trying to use tools. Boxes was removed one by one and luggage trolley was left behind. When I tried to talk to the young boys, one just smiled and the other simply replied with 'yes' 'ok' etc. They were exhausted at the end and I really hope they would be paid enough to match their hard work. I would like to suggest Sam Removal to provide their staff with good training, especially manual handling. Moving house is a hard job but npeople shouldn't get injured while lifting heavy items.

Booked for 8 am. Arrived at around 12. Didn’t informed. Ranged couple of times. Confusion with price. Booked for $90 per hour, but extra charged for vehicle insurance, levy and moving delivery upstairs which was not mentioned upon booking. Rude and unprofessional. As you mentioned we were nice in the beginning and which is not true, we were not happy at the start till end because didn’t turn up till 8.30, upon ringing several times, no inform and you gave time till 10.30, again no show till 11.30, since you already wasted our time 3 hrs we tried to cancel but you didn’t return back deposit, so we have to continue till end. You were talking about the extra charge for stairs we were happy to pay, but again they charge for insurance and levy also we paid you all the charge $350 cash +$ 50 bank transfer, in total $400 payment you applied at the end. Very unhappy with the service. Rather apologies Sam owner of the company is blaming to customer for his inconvenience. I would never recommend this service.

I needed to book a a removalist quickly between Christmas and New Year and Sam had a day free. I had a lot of stuff to move and some very heavy items. We've moved from Adelaide to Canberra during new years eve. Sam Removal Adelaide provided a good quote & showed up right on time on the pick-up date. Also performed same day delivery on our arrival interstate as they promised . All our stuff were moved correctly without scratches & beds assembled back again by the movers. Booked truck for 10:30am and they didn't show up until 4:30pm. It wasted our entire day and was very unprofessional. They weren't in communication with the delay. When we called they kept saying they were close and it ended up being another hour, then another hour.. In general very poor experience and not efficient. I would not recommend this removal company.

Although they charge on hourly basis, they discounted extra minutes they had spent. They even helped with whitegoods installation. Even though staircase was involved there were no damage to stuff.

I had the worst experience, cancelled the job 30min before the pick up. Said sorry can't do it today can do it after a week and I had to hand over the keys to the agent the next day, and they wanted me to understand them. Don't trust what ever they say. I don't recommend them at all.
