Have not been here before, we were looking to purchase hay. Young man out the front did not greet or offer assistance so felt a bit uncomfortable. When we approached we said we had not been there before and asked what the process was. He said to go to the counter and pay there and then they would help us load up. Approached the counter and we were asked our name and then told fairly bluntly that we were not in the system and they were not selling hay to non-members. We are aware there is a drought, that hay is generally limited, and its understandable to want to supply ones regular customers; however, we feel there are kinder ways to express that, particularly given we said we were new in the first instance (just moved out north) and the front man said nothing. It kind of made us feel like we did something wrong by even asking. We were potential customers, but not now.

Seriously excellent service, fantastic & experienced staff, as I was passing through Gawler I posted a quick Facebook request for advice on a good fodder place & within seconds Sanders was recommended and they didn't disappoint Thanks for your assistance in choosing the best feed for my goats & the natural fly repellent cream Mark showed me works an absolute treat on us as well as our animals and helping me, by not only putting it all in my car (bails & bags of blended mix) but rearranging the boot to fit it all in was awesome Happy animals now Thanks again guy's, I intend to pass through monthly so il see you again soon.... if you go here, pat Buffy the fodder house cat, he's so sweet

Needed some advice about an animal. Didn't want a vet visit. Thought I'd ask here and got some very sage advice that was suitable for what I needed. I've gone there for feed, advice, information and always found the people their friendly, understanding, knowledgeable and funny. Good for a chat when not busy and efficient help anytime. I am a return customer often. time to give the feedback they are due

The staff don't just sell. They are all knowledgeable and helpful. You can choose your mix if your animals are picky about what they eat. e.g. my chickens and peacocks won't eat wheat in the mix. When you choose your own mix it's a bit more expensive but there's no waste so it balances out. Plus I will travel the extra klms to buy their peastraw because in my opinion it's the best.

This place is fantastic for any and all animal needs. The knowledge of the staff is second to none, whether it's for horses, dogs, cats, chickens, just to name a few. They also supply everything needed to get rid of pests and rodents along with all the safe guards on how to treat and apply the different types of products for all the relevant areas.

Love this place. Always have what I need on hand. The staff remember who you are when you arrive and that to me has a personal feeling that they care about my needs and the needs of all my fur babies. Also love that you can always have a chat while being served and a laugh. Awesome place. Love going every fortnight for my feeds and fodder.

This store is just wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable staff who are genuinely concerned for any problems or issues you may have. Outstanding selection of stock feed supplements grooming and vet lines. Just the best place to go for anyone with critters. Prices are also very impressive

We go to Sanders Fodder every so often, and they have a great range of products, including cat and dog food. The staff are always welcoming, helpful and thoughtful, particularly since they offer to take large/ heavy items to the car. I love seeing Echo, plas the cocky and cat.

I love the options of pet food here, but why are the employees so uneducated when it comes to customer service! I bought Dover dog food as it was on special for $38.00 as it was on the sign...he asked me to pay $42.00 at the cash

Discussed recipes for rat food. Yes, they do exist - they had them written in a notebook. Greeted us on arrival and seemed happy to discuss our requirements. Good prices too. Also had equipment for horses etc.
