I have lived in Santa Clara for 18 years, previously 16 in Europe, that is why I love visiting Santana Row, which besides being 5 minutes from my house, has a lot of elements that remind me of the old continent. It is an open air mall. A few years ago we went daily to CLub One, a gym on the third floor of one of the Plaza de Valencia buildings. but unfortunately it closed and now we go many times during the week, which is quieter to have lunch and stay in one of its cafeterias to work online and drink coffee and matcha. There is a wide variety of food: French, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, seafood, Brazilian, vegetarian, Indonesian, Hawaiian restaurants. Also many clothing stores, perfumes, cosmetics, sportswear, several hairdressing and beauty salons, a dentist, a bank and even a pharmacy. Every Friday (before covid) we went to the movies to see the premiere of the week. Sweet popcorn is the tastiest, always freshly made. Parking the car is not a problem, it has many buildings to leave your car, in addition to several high-quality residential buildings. We were lucky to have friends there and spent several summers visiting the pool. For me it is the most chic and elegant area of San Jose. I highly recommend this shopping mall for a fun day.
I have yet to see a place that is a better envisioned suburban downtown than Santana Row. With its palm trees, it reminiscent of Socal because they have a lot of outdoor malls while we only have the Stanford shopping center. But Santana Row is slightly different for many reasons. Olsen Drive actually lets you be next to the road for a section that cars can't drive through and you can eat in many crowded outdoor restaurants with people squeezing close by on the sidewalk and people watch. Also, cars not included. Parking is ample and it is free. Four parking garages, street parking, outdoor parking lot, and even parking across the street where Cinemark used to be. Speaking of which, they also have that Cinearts theater which sometimes plays good indie movies. There is artifical grass in the Olin area that you can actually step on. There are some lounge type areas you can go to at night and dance. The restaurants, for the most part aren't great with the exception of a couple, but the chains are consistent. They all have ambience though, including the bars at Hotel Valencia where some interesting luxurious cars are parked.
Santana Row is Silicon valley's most popular outdoor destination for Shopping, Dining, living, and working. Surrounded by beautiful Landscaped gardens, sky high business buildings, plazas, and parks, it features over fifty shops, thirty restaurants, the Boutique Hotel Valencia, and a six screen movie theatre. In addition to Dynamic Shopping and Dining options, Santana Row also offers hundreds of Luxury rental homes, private owned Condos, and thousands plus of square feet class A office spaces. Thousands and thousands of Visitors came here to enjoy live music, Trendy Fashion shows, annual holiday events, yoga classes, and so much more other outdoor events! We came here to enjoy the best atmospheres, the Gorgeous Sunshines, and definitely the Charming beauty of this Row.
I rent a condo in Santana Row , when I visit from home in Laguna Beach The place literally has everything, shopping all types of food from mid price to extremely expensive that goes the same for shopping there’s everything from H&M to Saint Laurent, Gucci, Chanel Louis Vuitton. On the weekends this place is a madhouse it is always super packed which is OK, parking is a bit difficult most of the time so be patient when you come. Christmas in my opinion is the most beautiful time to experience Santana Row their lighting is magnificent, it’s a little weird because in the whole city of San Jose you will not find much for Christmas lights so the only Christmas entertainment he will get is basically in Santana Row.
Santana Row is an upscale location in San Jose, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are many fancy restaurants, shopping, and bars spread throughout the row. There is plenty of free parking structures around. There are also large department stores like Best Buy and the Container Store. One of the under appreciated aspects about Santa Row is that people bring their really nice cars and motorcycles to the row and drive down the street. If you're into nice cars, you will appreciate this place. Bring lots of money as Santana Row is very expensive. Expect to pay around 20-25 dollars per menu item and 15 dollars for a cocktail.
Nice , community and shoppers from all around. Lots of cool shops & stores. We are at Fogo deChao a fantastic Brazilian steak house, that has the most AMAZING salad bar, . Salad bar being a misnomer as it refered to as the Market table (something close to that) . It's an amazing array of veggies, some cooked some not all put together with mad choices. Meats, like prosciutto, Spanish games, yummy cheese table, also French bread & bacon ,bas well as rice , sometimes pasta with hot sauces and brown (yummy) gravy. Worth every penny. Love the service . Love the food.
Santana Row used to be so calming and beautiful 10+ years ago. But these days it’s so crowded especially during weekends and holidays it has become a hot spot go young and the old. Morning on weekends is the best time to beat the crowd but still enjoy everything it has offer. Wish they bring back the book store like the borders/B&N etc. The small Amazon store is also closed now. There is plenty of awesome places to shop and eat or just sit and enjoy live music(probably just weekends). Loved this place when we visited 15+years go and still love it!
Ah, welcome to our charming upscale shopping and dining area! Where you can enjoy the exquisite thrill of wondering whether your car will make it through the evening unscathed. It's like a high-stakes game of "Will my vehicle survive this visit?" I must say, our local car thieves have impeccable taste, preying exclusively on the finest automobiles. So, if you're feeling lucky and want to test your car's resilience, this is the place for you! Just remember to bring your own security detail. Happy shopping! ️
What’s not to like about this area. It was beautiful, hot, and everything I expected. The walking around the area was fascinating and fun. Very busy, sexy shops, fancy cars, good food, ambiance was beautiful. The mall was nice and cool considering it was hot outside. Sales everywhere since it was close to back to school. Had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory oh the salmon dinner was delicious. I left fun of joy from my full day. Can’t wait to go back planning on dinner again. Loved It❤️❤️❤️
Santana Row offers a unique blend of upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment in a visually appealing and vibrant setting. It's an excellent destination for a day of indulgence, whether you're looking to update your wardrobe, enjoy a delicious meal, or simply soak up the lively atmosphere. The district's upscale offerings, beautiful architecture, and diverse range of experiences make Santana Row a popular choice for locals and visitors seeking a fashionable and enjoyable outing.
One of the most beautiful streets. Lot of brands and nice restaurants. Must visit! On most of the evenings you’ll find live music. Parking can be done in Westfield Valley Fair or at the parking lots available at Santana Row. Very kid and pet friendly and easily accessible for the disabled. Ther are chairs available where one can take break and sit! The palm trees add an aesthetic touch to this cute street! Currently the Christmas decorations are beautiful and dreamy!
We went there on a Christmas weekend. I would definitely go there again. It’s just beautiful and shopping is fun there. Great for kids and families. There are benches everywhere which is cool. Variety of shopping options for everything. Streets are neat. It looks safe. Parking options around the area. We didn’t pay for parking because it was a weekend probably. Some performers come to perform as well. You must pass by if you’re north Cal.
Great ambiance and overall look to the place. Really exotic and expensive stores of top brands & restaurants. Great place to hang out with family & pets and spend the weekend. Gets extremely crowded, but also really festive during the holiday season. Parking is quite convenient here. One of my favorite areas in Bay Area, but really hate that it gets crowded. Right opposite to Westfield Valley mall, which is a gigantic Shopping Complex.
Great place for an evening stroll in South Bay with upscale ambience. Visit Tesla showroom to get a quick peek of the car models and its chassis frame. Amazon has its Amazon books store which is a convenient place for buying Amazon devices and basics accessories. Around Christmas this place gets lit up with a sparkling Christmas tree; and a becomes a fantastic spot for taking ambient pictures with studio like lights.
I tell you what.... my first time setting foot on Santana Row and I am more than pleased. Absolutely exquisite. I thought, by word of mouth, that it would be like any other courtyard/food court-ish type place. Instead, in awe. Lookin here, lookin there. And i saw plenty of dairy air!!! But the shops, lights, ppl, vibe, atmosphere, and personal amusement was kinda great. If you haven't, you must.
I love coming here to walk around and to eat. The row is largely lined mostly with luxury shops, but there’s also shops like H&M and the stationery/book shop. With COVID, the row is pretty different due to restrictions. Plenty of shops and restaurants are still open, so it’s a great place to take holiday photos, get some fresh air, and grab a bite to eat. Park in one of the garages; it’s free :)
This is a great place to come for shopping, eating, and general leisure. We bring our dog here for training, since it's relatively busy all the time and the outdoor mall is pretty dog friendly. Some shops allow dogs and even have water bowls sitting outside their front doors. The mall has a wide range of high end retail opportunities and is a really beautiful place to go and relax on a weekend.
It’s a very manageable area to satisfy your retail therapy. Love the mix of stores. A bar in the midst of it all. Coffee and boba places in to quench your drink needs. A leisurely stroll is not too bad. Mixed residential area which is ideal if your pocket agrees. A quick hop to the freeway is also a plus. Very close to Winchester house for tourists to hit 2 birds w/ one stone.
A nice little shopping and event area. As a visitor it was a good place to go and kill some time. There was plenty of free parking and good restaurants. I was there two different times and the second time there was a farmers market. This really upped the atmosphere. It's nice to walk around and the only problem is that you kind of wish it was a bigger place.
I love walking around here, a lot of great shops. I love Maido and the Makers Market! Vuori and Paper Source are also nice, the Sephora and Sugarfina stores are also great. The food is also good: El Jardin is the best, Maggianos and Pizza Antica are strong seconds, Smitten is delicious and a must for dessert. Also, the theater has really good popcorn
A happening place near Westfield Valley Fair Mall which has great dining and shopping options. This place comes alive in the evening with lively music, bustling cafes, bars, ice cream parlours and people wanting to have a good time. During Christmas time, this place is very beautifully decorated and the air is festive and joyful. Not to be missed!
I should have come here before during the cold winter in San Francisco the weather is warmer and there is a lot of stores, restaurants around and bars to enjoy in a sunny day. The one that I enjoyed was a Mexican one. There is a lot of Mexican restaurants . This one was in the middle of the street with tables outside. I will comeback !
We just love this place. Such a cool vibe all over! They often host some local market events as well. Always clean and well decorated. The shops there are fantastic. Lots of great food and beverage options but also shopping. On the plus side the mall is like 10-15’ walking distance which makes it all so convenient. + free parking!
Santana row is a hip upscale commercial and residential place which houses several bars and eateries. It is always well lit and a place to be on weekends. They always have some events going around in the main street. The place has several parking lots. The most accessible is the parking garage of Winchester Valleyfair mall...
Haven’t been here since the pandemic. Quite a few new stores and restaurants. The biggest change was near the Cinema Arts. A huge modern office building was built right next to it. Parking is no problem - at least during the weekdays. Love the seats near the Blue Bottle Coffee. Great to take a break and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Santana Row in San Jose is a fantastic destination! This upscale outdoor shopping and dining experience is a perfect blend of style and convenience. You'll find a great selection of shops, restaurants, and vibrant street ambiance. Whether you're shopping, dining, or just strolling, it's a must-visit spot in the South Bay!
Bast Buy told me that i have 1 hr to get ro the store Best Buy to pickup My ordere so i didand then i go to the customer service welll they Say no My ordere did not go thorew that i nerd it ti go up stairs so i do now i flore Seles man he says well qgar your looking fie it is down stairss do i go but i keep going out
Gorgeous and so pretty. The perfect destination location for a little shopping and dining. Wonderful place to meet a friend for an afternoon of nibbles and people watching. Love how the street is blocked off to traffic. Gorgeous trees and flowers. Lots of parking free in the garages. Restrooms are available.
Impressive outdoor shopping mall. Lots of shops, thought mostly higher end stores. Very good amount of restaurants to pick from. Free parking the time I was there. Very festive during the holidays! And if you can't find something, a short walk across the street and you have a large Westfield mall to browse.
I always have issues with the parking here and nobody does anything about it. When I go to park this guy in this truck says the charger doesn’t work. But you know what I didn’t believe him so I park there anywhere and charge and guess what it works. They have no respect for Tesla drivers and chargers here.
Great place for shopping and dinning. Outdoor mall, so you get plenty of fresh air and this mall is pet friendly so you'll see dogs of all sizes walked here and there. When the nightlife comes, it's a nice mix of different people all partying at one. Plenty of things to do here, day and into the night.
Generally a very lively area with nice places to sit. Though most of the stores here are pretty expensive and the restaurants here are also a bit expensive while being pretty mid at the same time. I'd say this place is more for the vibes. I usually just come here when I'm going to watch a movie.
This is an amazing area, full of restaurants and stores to shop. Apartment complex right on top of stores as well as an amazing 5 star hotel, free parking lot available, live music on weekends; restrooms available all over, security always around, valley fair mall across the street,
What a great gem in the south bay. They have everything you want in one place: great coffee at Blue Bottle, great farmer's market on Wednesdays, great live music at Zazil, and great places to shop for designer glasses at Optical Illusions. Makes it easy to people watch all day!.
Got to love Santana Row, and it has been refreshed with some cool shops and the food scene is always good. And I love the Blue Bottle they opened in the middle. Always a pleasure to walk around here, pick up coffee, and maybe eat something at one of the nice restaurants
Great shopping place, with lots of Restorant’s in the area. Also it has parking spots if you are visiting with a car. I happened to stay here at an Airbnb apartment. The area is pretty quiet for a good night sleep, but also it’s closed to hand full of office buildings.
The cutest little strip!! Great eateries, lots of shopping options, live music on certain nights. There are tons of little little areas to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The streets were lined with Huge beautiful palm trees! Very lively place. Kid and pet friendly.
Situated directly across from Valley Fair Mall, Santana Row boasts charming decor, adorned with quality hotels and restaurants. Lot the area is sectioned off to provide an excellent outdoor dining and shopping experience. And there is ample parking on the back lot
Very cool part of the city. First, easy and free parking, this is a very great part of the experience. I would say this is a better place to eat than to shop. The stores are more of your boutique or high end prices. Still nice for a stroll and just looking around.
I do love the parking garage with all the red/green lights to indicate the open spot for parking. There is an indicator for how many spots available in that row. Love the selection of the shops in here. Crate and Barrel, Amber restaurant, Tesla store, etc.
Santana Row is a must visit if and when you visit the bat area. The vibe is on . Plenty of places to enjoy street music while sitting down relaxed. Plenty of restaurants also on this street. Many shops to go shopping. Highly recommend …
One of the best place for couples to date. And also a good walking street for kids. I can’t really afford the living standard here as most of the store here are targeting top 1%. But I do enjoy walks among them and checking the super cars on the street.
This is a trendy dining hall with lots of outdoor seating. There was live music when I went and everyone I was with was able to order whatever they wanted by themselves and bring it to the table. I like it here. One star removed because parking is hard.
Nice Christmas holiday decorations. CineArt movie theater is clean, friendly, and relaxing. Avoid El Jardin (lackluster hostess and food). Bit of a ghetto element later at night (after leaving the movie theater); it gave us a sense of not being safe.
It is a very busy and popular place. My Steak was unfortunately medium more than medium rare as I ordered it, but the meat and the service were quite good. Alexanders still beats it from my perspective, but would be willing to give it another try.
This shopping center is such a well organized place that you can spend a whole day here! There are many restaurants and coffee shops, and I think most of them are great. If you walk down, you can also do some shopping at west field!
A big community and wide range of shops with restaurants and open seating areas. It was a pleasant experience to chill in a good weather having a drink under the canopy. Parking is a bit hectic here in festive and holidays .
One of the most happening places in San Jose/Santa Clara area, combined with the valley fair mall across the road definitely is worth the evening. Lots of places to eat/drink. Little expensive but I think it’s worth it.
Visited after very long time and in winter so street is almost empty but Restaurants are full and outside seating area consuming walking path. Long wait for almost all eating place there . Little leftover decorations.
Beautiful upscale high fashion brands and eateries around this area. The decoration of Christmas is on point and people are taking precautions due to Covid. It's well decorated place with cute little picture spots..
I love the Santa Row vibe. There are a lot of events there on Christmas, Chinese new year, spring and lots of other cute events. All the year we see the seasonal flowers in the Santa Row. That's really fantastic.
The Mexican place that used to be Consuelos down by the theaters is really good. Still same quality food made at the table guacamole good drinks. Friendly service. What's not to like thumbs up?
When I want to be in crowd we visit this place and feels so amazing to roam around those fairy lights and beautiful flowery plants and amazing buildings… good parking space at Winchester garage
Kids park was a really good one before remodel years ago. It is for sake of having one without much functionality. Santana Row, is great for most during night time, especially during Christmas
It's been quite some time since the last venture here, and multiple changes for the better. More parking and charging stations, new eateries, and seating options. Always a great stroll venue.
Love this place! It's a fancy, decorated street with street performances for every occasion, such as Halloween and Christmas. Additionally, some of the restaurants here offer live music.
Between the yuppie drunks your assortment of pooches and a bunch of broke people trying to look rich. Don’t forget to tip the violin playing jipsy (pre-recorded). It was a great place.
What a wonderful vibe this place has. You will usually find live music at Le Jardin which can be heard through out the street. Great place to shop and to try some elite eateries.
12/11/21 Saturday. So many restaurants, shops, Valley fair mall. Nice place to spend some times with family n friends. Weekend n Christmas that's why traffic was nightmare.
I love the atmosphere here. Light music playing around and best shopping places to look around and food restaurants gives you a overall pleasant evening experience
Great night life! Parking is crazy, but lots of cute shops and fun walks! Also walked a block away to catch a glimpse of The Winchester Mystery house! Fun fun fun.
great people watching and plenty of places to eat/shop. The farmer's market is always a favorite as well as the many events that take place throughout the year.
Bougie, nice. Has a westfield mall next to it! Went into a japanese craft store and some drawing samples from other guests. Parking was a bit full
I didn't expect to enjoy our visit, but I did! We found a great Japanese restaurant that took the time to explain Saki! Great food, the best staff
It's really nice, it can just get very crowded sometimes. Lots of lovely places to eat and hang out as well as cool shops and things to check out.
This is place to be Shopping, Restaurant Entertainment, etc.. Great environment with family friends co-works just be here, I highly recommend it
Great shopping area. Parking is a bit tight but the selection of stores and restaurants is amazing. I could spend all day just walking around.
Definitely the place to visit For high-end shopping and restaurants. This is a great place to bring your sweetheart if you want to impress
This street has many high end brand shops and restaurants. Walking on this street is really nice and you can spend good time with music.
Gorgeous area for a stroll with or without shopping/dining there. The big business center right across the road is also worth seeing!
Very nice place to take a stroll. Has a Mediterranean feel. Free 2 hour parking in the parking garage. Visited the Tesla shop...
Just a great place to stroll with family in the day. Really enjoy the shops, dining and ambience. The Nightlife is electric!
A really beautiful place with lots of higher end stores. You also see a whole bunch of pretty cars driving through the road.
Wonderful place to walk around gorgeous flowers and trees. Beautiful restaurants and clothing stores. Very hope area …
Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating (great for dogs), ample parking and entertainment (live music, movie theater, etc)
Nice and beautiful place to visit and enjoy food, shopping, live music, luxury cars. Easy to park in the structure parking.
Life on the row!!! I love it, The best place to hangout with friends and family. Get ready to spend couple bucks.
Fancy shops and restaurants in an attractive area of the city. A nice way to pass some time if you are in town.
Always beautiful setting among the manicured potted plants a great afternoon spot for lunch or just a stroll.
I love love love this area in san jose. Super safe. Plenty of food and drinks and great shopping experience.
If you are in San Jose you must come and spend some time here, nice restaurants and bars, good food.
Very cute and bougie place. Enjoyed it a lot for a walk. Definitely for more expensive shopping.
