Ok, let me clarify that at no point did I visit the actual Geico office. I did a price quote online. Of course after that several agents from different companies called me but I chose to go with Geico for several reasons. Anyway, I decided to get full coverage through them, over the phone the agent quoted me $743.00 for 6 months plus a one time fee of $25.. we'll after getting everything set up it was time to pay. For some reason he was only able to process $400, so he then connected me with the department that processes payments. The lady gets on the line and says I owe a remaining $423. I explain to her that I'm confused, that according to what the guy quoted me I should only owe a remainder of $368. She then with an attitude tells me "well, it's $423 or they can't move forward with my insurance. " Due to me having to have insurance right away in order to get my license back and trying to get it all done that day. So, that all happened March 15th 2021, on April 5th 2021 I get a bill for $25.. Now when I got my insurance I explained to the agent that I was getting the 6 month plan because my husband and I both were out of work and had 0 zero income and I wanted to make sure we were covered long enough for one or both of us to get back to work. Anyway, I'm livid now because we SHOULD NOT be getting any bill. I call our local Geico office and get a very nice, friendly and informative agent. I explain everything to him and explain that if this doesn't get taken care of then I want to cancel my insurance then & there. I apologize to him if I came across rude or hateful because I know he was only trying to help and I didn't want to be rude with him. Ok so he looks into my claim and explains to me that the CRF fee for $25 was in fact a monthly fee and that the original agent messed up because he waited 2 weeks to add the CRF to my claim. Now I'm even more upset because I'm realizing that this 1st agent has obviously stolen roughly $65 from me. Which I explained to agent number 2. It was clear that he didn't want to accuse anyone with the company of stealing but there was no other explanation. He apologizes repeatedly and says that he can have the $25 set back a few days to give us time to come up with the money. That was no longer my issue. At this point I wanted to cancel my claim because the first guy stole from me and with 3 babies he stole from all of us. Sense I would still be responsible for the monthly $25 I just wanted to cancel and go somewhere else. The agent cancels my claim and tells me that if I ever change my mind to Please come into the office because with me only having the guys first name I really couldn't do anything to track him down and press charges and have him fired because he made sure not to put anything in my claim to track him and without a last name, phone number or extension number to reach him we don't even know what state he was in. I really wanted to give no stars but I gave 3 all for the 2nd agent that tried everything in his power to make things right for me. I have his name written down somewhere because at some point I want to call back and brag to his boss because he deserves the recognition. I only know that he is at the office in Nashville Tennessee.

First there is only one Geico office for inperson issues in Metro Nashville. This may be shock for those who watch and are amused by the endless funny Geico commercials, which seem to promise personal, if quirky attention to auto insurance issues. It's small, located in a strip mall, not easy for one from East Nashville to find, just down the street from a combined pizza parlor, which also handles Western Union, which is run by a Pakistani man, quite friendly, as, indeed,were the Geico agents when I finally found the office. And one finds on the way a Mexican bakery and lunch place, run by an Iranian, (if my memory is correct), and a Puerto Rican place in an abandoned gas station, (which I hope to return to try), so generally, it's a gateway to evolving multicultural evolution of Nashville culture and cuisine on the South side of town. And I learned from the agent never to disclose my insurance limits, or carry information about them in the car. A mixed experience, but culturally enlightening about the Southern part of the city. Perhaps why Vanderbilt has opened its expanded medical offices nearby - and just past an old miniature golf course soon to reopen where I used to take children and friends in the summer. It's less than a block from Nolensville Road, coming from I-24 South. So, if one wants to come a different direction off the freeway, take Nolensville Road and turn left at the light. But there's no little lizard in the office, but if one refers someone to the office, one gets a T shirt, so check it out, as I'm trying for mine.

called in for a quote and had a less than desirable experience. i’m a repeat geico customer purchasing a new car, and wanted to work with Sydney. when i called for her, i was told she was not in by Zack. he was friendly but not the person to help me so i was re-directed to Casey. no problems at all until she asked about a previously insured vehicle. i told her that the vehicle was not operational and that i planned to get rid of it and would not need coverage for it. she continued to question me about it to the point that i stopped and asked why she needed so much information about it. her line of questioning felt invasive and inappropriate. my family and i have used geico in the past and NEVER got questioned about why a vehicle was being removed from a policy, let alone what we planned to do with it. wanted to do business with a local agency but i’ll stick with online services.

HORRIBLE- I was in a car accident 4 weeks ago and Megan Filka has been my geico agent throughout this process. I still have no idea what is going on with my car or claim- since it was claimed to be totaled for 4 weeks now. I have left several voice mails for Megan and she has not called me back in over a week. She was supposed to call enterprise rental to see if they could extend our rental since we have not heard anything back and enterprise called me today saying we owe $246 since we have not given the rental back. Megan NEVER called and said she was waiting to hear back. I have now called Megan’s manager Nicholas and no answer of course- hoping to hear from him soon. Worst customer service ever! I do NOT recommend them at all!!! Also, I looked up Megan on Instagram and she can post on Instagram but not call me back.

Absolutely the very worst insurance company I have ever known. Put my life in danger for 7 weeks, not sllowing me to retrieve any of my items. Consistantly taking 6 hrs to provide simple road service, kept my car in impound for 2 weeks for a flat tire..them refused to pay for the new tire until I threatened to call police, had to walk 1.5 miles to impound lot in a cold rain and when I got there I was threatened with jail time...these are just a few of the many ways I have been mistreated the last 7 weeks while I am away from home. They should be ashamed but they never will be. How can they stay in business displaying towards recklessness & irreponsibility to a Vietnam war vet?. That is what 41 years as a loyal customer gets you...not much!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I had gotten in a car crash with one of their drivers. Which they happened to be liable for the accident and had someone come look at my vehicle so that they could pay for damages. After the driver found out how much he would have to pay his story changed on the accident. I’m not sure how you can change your story all of the sudden but they let him. And ended up not paying for any damages and also they had given me a rental car so that I could have a vehicle to drive while til everything was done with. Then made me pay for the rental when I returned it because they had changed their mind. Worst company ever. Would never have insurance through them they are dirty people.

Geico is terrible. My car was in an accident, so it was towed to a body shop. The adjustor paid the shop BEFORE they began fixing my car. Guess what? They did a horrible job fixing my car. The adjustors name is Jim Carey, and I will be filing a complaint. My car came back with more problems than it went in with. The car won't even start, and I have to buy a new battery, plus there's many other things wrong with it. Everyone knows you don't pay for services until they are done. The check is supposed to be SIGNED before it even goes to the shop anyway. So, why did he pay the shop first? Very unprofessional, and he needs to get his stuff together. Don't go to westside auto body!!!

Wonderful service, kind and helpful insurance agents, adjusters are nice, empathetic, and most importantly honest. If you've dealt with companies in the past that are a headache to deal with, you don't need to look any further, this company has given me no headaches to deal with unlike previous insurance companies. Their claims process is seamless, employees trained extremely well, and 24/7 so when life goes wrong they're their to help immediately. Highly recommend this company, plus the prices are extremely competitive while giving you great coverage. I think I've finally found a company I can stick with.

I called to get a quote and Sydney told me I would have to spend THIRTY minutes on the phone answering questions!! I wanted to send the declaration pages of my home and car insurance but she said that would not negate the need for me to spend 30 minutes on the phone. I have already spoken to State Farm, the Farm Bureau, Liberty Mutual, Allstate and Triple AAA and NONE of them required me to be on the phone for 30 minutes...not even 2 minutes. Ridiculous. I'm a doctor and I don't have time to waste like that. How inconsiderate can a company be???

Terrible experience. I got a quote online with geico, progressive, and the general. Did not finish the quote with geico because it was the most expensive out of the three. Get two calls from them today. And I told her I would not be finishing the quote and she said "so you don't want to save any money today" news flash when some one doesnt finish and buy the insurance it means they didn't want it. That's incredibly unprofessional and that phrase should never be used. This is insurance, not a guilt trip to donate a few bucks to a charity.

I am someone who have recently cancelled my policy with Geico as I got lower rate with some other insurance provider. But I still give a 5 star because when I newly moved to USA they offered me the lowest rate (almost half than the other insurers) and on my first renewal also their rate was very low compared to others, and also because of the hassle-free cancellation process. I got my refund within 3 days. Also they offered a 13% discount too on my first renewal. I do recommend Geico to others. Thanks!

Poor customer service my brother had someone hits his car from the back in parking lot and he took his insurance copy and tool some pics then my brother filed a claim with Geigo. When Geigo contacted the person who hit the car he said I don't have any damage in my car then they believe him and declined the claim this is weird how is come we took a pics of both car and from where we got his insurance copy very very poor customer service and terrible company I don't recommend this company.

I just switched to Geico and Sydney made my experience so easy. She was helpful, explained everything, and walked me through all of the steps. I am just getting on my own insurance policy, so Sydney ensured that I knew everything about the process. I am very impressed that in the short time I have been with Geico, they have already treated me better than my last insurance company that I was with for 5 years. Go Geico!

This is by far the most belittling company I have done business with. Failure to thoroughly explain policies, poor coverage, smoke and mirror policies that leave you stranded. The customer service reps are dehumanizing and patronizing. You are not saving money, you are just cheapening your auto insurance and taking a risk that they will not help you in your time of need.

Agent INCORRECTLY put that I had modifications done to my STOCK car which in turn caused my quote to be denied. The woman I spoke with was very rude and wouldn't let me get one word in. How did she get that job??? Just based off of the experience I had over the phone, this company doesn't deserve my business anyway.

Absolutely awful! Murfreesboro location Doug, half assed my estimate. Didn't include parts that were clearly damaged. Wouldn't let me get a word in while he was trying to ramble. Then told me they wouldn't fix my truck, but I could find another location to. Dude! People have work! Thanks for wasting my time

The lead agent was so very rude when I went in to get clarification on a decision made by underwriting. Even if their was nothing they could do I expect far better from GEICO than "oh well guess we cancel your 12 year old policy. Bye." We are happily looking at other companies now!

I am very upset with Geico. They took money from me without telling me what it was for and then raised my rates $20. This is a non-trust worthy company. The only money I had to by groceries with, but they will not refund it because they don't care if people can eat or not.
