This is the Saturn Bar. I was lucky enough to experience the original, but the bar under new ownership really showed up for me. I had a blast having drinks with girlfriends after my mom’s memorial. It was a few hours well spent amongst warm strangers. Plus, extra points to this bar for hosting Mod Dance Party.

It is what it is, and it ain't what it ain't! Which is, nothing fancy! An old, funky place. No designer cocktails. No dress code, except maybe a shirt and shoes! Check out the art on the walls and upstairs because it is insane! But, do not wander about this neighborhood drunk. Street parking only.

Holly Molly! If you like the mixture of dive and bar, then planet Saturn is your destination of interstellar fun! Good beer selection and a infectious commitment to fun and music. Really good lineup of bands. A must go place. It is also one of the last places to meet people with flip phones.

The bar is bigger than it looks and has ample space inside. The patio is great, too, to hang out. Stocked bar with easy on the wallet prices. I like that all ages/races/ethnicities go there and just have a great time. I highly recommend a visit or two or more. Have fun!!!

This is a dive. That's what it is. It's a really good dive. If you like that kind of thing, you'll like Saturn bar. If you don't, please don't go there. Beer and shot specials, peeling paint, it has it all. Don't expect elegance, don't expect finess. Beer=cold. Done.

Love this dive bar. The people who run it are supremely nice to bands and customers. I've played a show here, gone to thrift clothes sales and record swaps. The place has some serious NOLA spirit. A good amount of space for a place that looks so small.
