The prices are not as reasonable as they used to be. The store brands are great quality. However, the quality of food is great except the cabbage nor frozen chicken tenders and frozen chicken breasts were not good. Most of the chicken had freezer burn or lots of ice in the package. This was the first time I've seen this!

Prices are good, my biggest issue is you have to pay for a cart. While I understand why, it doesn't make me want to return. I have a bad hip and walk with a cane. If I can lean on a cart, I can walk without the cane. I probably won't visit here very often.

The store was clean but the produce was less than fresh and the pk of chicken legs had a bad smell and did not notice until I got them home to Starke. I miss our Save-a-lot that closed this summer. Needless to say I will not be driving back to this store.

Prices now are bigger than in a Walmart. One mango $1.80. No longer " save" a lot there. Not to mention the cashier that I keep seeing for the last 2 years, barely moving and mumbling a few words when you pay.

I give 5 stars because for once I had a nice cashier! Seems like the prices are starting to go up at save-a-lot compared to what they were. They still are cheaper on most items but they seem to be on the rise.

It doesn't seem like you save as much at Save A Lot as you once could. I do however like their sales. Wish they had faster checkout though as it takes entirely too long to get through checkout.
