Probably won’t be going back to this location although it is close to home I’d rather go a mile n a half further to Kroger where the cashiers are friendly and all the carts aren’t broken. Today my cashier was Niam he was very rude when I got in line talking to another cashier about how morning shift is lazy and didn’t do anything. I only had 7 items it shouldn’t have taken 7 minutes to cash me out but he was to busy complaining. Told me “when you’re done bagging your stuff give me my cart back” ( I didn’t need it to carry my stuff to my car however I did already have it and unloaded my groceries from it he didn’t have a cart at the end of his register when I got there. I gave it to him when I was done and he was sarcastic and said “ mmmm ok you could have turned it the right way” very bad experience and this isn’t the first bad experience at this location but this time it was bad enough I won’t go back
Never had an issue until today. Lady named Renee working. When we came in she complained about us grabbing a cart from inside, she said there are carts outside for you, when we told her there weren't any out there, she just walked away. She was rude as I dont know what, snatching stuff, throwing it on the scanner, picking it up and then throwing it into the cart. Never said hello, goodbye nothing. When she was giving us receipt she basically shoved it in my husbands face as to say hurry the hell up and go. When I asked her her name she basically gave me the death star and said you want my name, I said yes what is your name, she looked at me, gave me a dirty look and in a horrible tone said Renee and turned and walked away. Me and another customer did speak with the Assistant Manager, which said he would talk to the GM.
This place has fallen apart. When I used to live in Irvington it was much better. They should have kept the 25cent cart release. They didn't have no carts. They were all over the parking lot and didn't work. Blocking the entrance and turned over. They was out of milk, rice and meat. I guess because people was stealing the meat. They used to have security. The cashier has been there for years she left when it was my turn to get rang up. And didn't say anything the lady behind me went to go get more ice cream drumsticks because her box was open when she came back I said the cashier left she said are you serious. We had to go to the other register they didnt have carts to put our groceries in after that rang them up. Smh a ghetto mess.
Not really sure about this grocery store just yet. The quality of the fresh food was not the greatest. Example, the Dragon Fruit, which is 8$, was so old, I wanted to offer to trash it. It wasn't only the fruit but the veggies too! The milk is always out, the freezer has been empty twice, the frozen fish in the middle freezers seemed to be frozen, unfrozen and frozen again. This is literally the only grocery store in the area, it should be decent. You aren't saving anything but gas money! It is near, but the store is expensive for bad quality!
They have 4 carts at this store so if your going to go there make it a light load. The young man at the register was all on his own the day before Thanksgiving eve. While all of management and security hung out and carried on conversations. So if you want to stand in line for 30 minutes or more with no cart, this is the place for you. Now that they sell bags again it takes longer to get through the register because they ask and then have to walk and go get them...
Convenient location is the greatest asset this store has. The prices are good on things like store brand breakfast cereals, milk, eggs, cheese, pasta, rice, beans, canned vegetables and other kitchen staples. But the few name brand items they carry arent as competitive with other stores. The frozen section leaves alot to be desired. And the overall cleanliness of the store matches the lower prices.
Had a wonderful person working the lane i checked out in.. Polite and fast. He gets 5 stars! 7/28/22- clean store and really nice girl at the register. Kind and hard working. Store selection is even less than before (if you can imagine that) and like everywhere else prices are higher than before. My problem is that Save A Lot was cheaper than most stores, Now it's more expensive than most stores.
This is a smaller Save-A-Lot than most in the Indianapolis area. They have a lot of great products but a lot of things are out of stock on Sunday afternoon. They have a pretty good selection of produce including limes but no grapefruits. Stores reasonably clean but could use some deep cleaning for sure. The cashier was friendly but she seems to be the only employee in the store!
Dollar Tree store at area of E. 10th St / Arlington location in Indianapolis Indiana has priority on stocking merchandise two cash registers away during my purchase at the cash register. The clerk didn't finish the transaction of my payment by credit card so that I could leave the store. I had to use a loud voice and tell her the ice cream was melting while waiting on her.
They never really have much food there. It seems as if they never stock enough product to last until their next truck. I went today thinking to spend $65, but the food selection was so low, I spent less than $30. Also the lines are always long and they never have more than 2 cashiers unless the line is over 7 people. I think I'll be avoiding this location from now on.
The store and the atmosphere was great they still had the supplies that I needed and I just want to say to the cashiers you ladies are awesome always smiling and greeting your customers especially right now in this situation I am so glad to see that y'all still have a positive attitude with all the craziness going on right God bless …
Last time I was here (several months ago), there were prominent "no guns" signs on the doors. Here's a clue--criminals don't obey signs. Law abiding gun owners will take their business elsewhere. Most mass shooting occur in "gun free" zones for this exact reason. Do you really want to alienate law abiding people and encourage criminals??
Food goes to waste much faster than other stores and meet you by you have to freeze or use immediately. we bought a pork roast for a dinner it went bad within 3 days the back salads they have went bad in two days. I recommend going to Krogers that's down the street on Shadeland or going to 16th Street Krogers to the West
I honestly don't like Safeway but it's convenient close to home I don't like the service but it's okay as far as getting my items and just checking out to hurry up and get home it's a very convenient place to go to get your items and and what I go back yes I just think that the customer service skills need to be better
It was closed. The internet said 10pm but it actually closed at 9pm. I had briefly ran in earlier. I wanted to buy Borden Cheese slices. They are difficult to find. However, Sav a lot always has it. I give it a cleanliness score of 4. My service was a 5. Variety 4. Wait 4.5. Overall a great experience.
This particular location would definitely get 5 stars from me because they are friendly people, the store is clean, and the prices are the best. The only reason that it got 4 and not 5 is because when there is a long line they never open another register even if there are cashier standing around
This is the best place to go for the greatest lower prices on meat and they have great Jade Dragon brands of egg rolls that are off the charts great and they're the cleanest save A lot I've ever been in don't go to the one on Sherman and Washington. I always prefer 10th and Arlington
Cashier was not friendly at ALL (10th & Arlington location)... why do these stores put the least friendly, hard faced ppl at register?? STOP IT PLEASE..food is too darn HIGH to put up with workers acting like your bothering them while frowning the whole time♀️♀️ …
We bought nice looking steaks and big boxes of catfish fillets there cheap. The only thing I didn't like was hardly none of the carts they have actually roll, it's a constant fight just to shop with one of their carts. Someone told me that the Red carts seem to roll the best.
The store is clean and organized. The produce is usually pretty sad looking. I paid $3.49 for 8oz of cheddar cheese which I can purchase at Aldi's or $1.99 (closed at the time). There was only one cashier and a long line. But, the employee worked steadily and quickly.
Save-A-Lot always has good bargains, even if they might be on things you might not always look for. Sometimes it requires a couple of trips to different grocery stores in addition to Save-A-Lot, but you still Save A Lot by going to Save-A-Lot!
I don't usually shop at this store. Selections are very limited and quality is questionable. I know blue cheese is mold but the brand they had to offer was too old. The store is very generic and not welcoming at all. Items are not
We use Save-a-lot for quick shopping for staples. Prices are very competitive, may not carry major national brands, but the store brand products are good value and good quality. There are significant savings to be had here.
My my visit would have been better if there were more cashiers and the one that was there was complaining about it was time for her to get off and she's the only one in the building not very professional if you ask me
I always save money when shopping here. Signing up for emails is a great way to save even more. The last email that I got from Sav-A-Lot was for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more! Just remember to bring your own bags.
Most of the coolers were broke so there wasn't really any meats there. The bananas was overly ripe and all of them were already brown. Cucumbers were starting to go bad and they only had a few to pick from.
Cheapest prices on steaks and pork chops with decent quality to better stretch your budget. If you need help the meat man is the most helpful and cashiers are always friendly greeting me with those smiles
The store is failing! They r re doing items changing things around! Plus there prices hav sky rocketed! Never hv meats! The Islse r empty! Alot! There meat prices r high! Too! I call IT SAV A NOT!!!!!!!!
Cashier decided not to wait on me because she said I had an attitude " not the case I didn't even say anything to her I was just trying to hurry and leave " I told manager about it but nothing was done
This one is the best Save-A-Lot to grovery shop at because it is extremely clean, spacious, great variety, and employees that seem to know what they are doing. I will definitely shop here again. …
How can a cashier talk on the phone and ring up customers. All the carts were locked outside the store. I ask a cashier about the carts. She said she was off the clock go ask somebody else. How rude.
Had everything I needed and more.....lol Everything was within my reach I'm 5 ft and that means alot to me that I can reach the top shelf. Very clean and organized. Isles clear everything stocked.
Really nice people that work here. Good place to buy snacks and frozen foods especially quick meals for kids. Price is fare on alot of their brand name items. I'll continue to spend my money here.
Horrible produce. I have now bought potatoes twice that have gone bad in days. Bad cherry tomatoes. Berries with fuzzy mold. Just terrible produce and I'm tired of wasting my money at this place.
I stop here for simple things like bread and milk when I don't feel like driving all the way to Wal-Mart or Kroger. It's a clean store with friendly staff; they often have good deals on meat.
Loved it. Seems to have everything one would need for a great culinary experience. Pricing appears to be inline with other grocery stores in the area. Something's more and something's less.
Plenty of carts. Well lit parking lot with plenty of parking. Store was clean and organized. Prices are very good and the cashier was kind and very proficient. I would recomend this store.
A nice little grocery store to get small items at good price. Also has a nice meat selection at a lower price than bigger stores. It's actually a very nice neighborhood grocery store.
Great place to load up the essential, everyday stuff to stock you kitchen or pantry. Also great prices on grocery items. Lots of name brand as well as off brand & no-name brands.
A tad ghetto but glad to have it. Al.ost everything is offbrand but that is ok. I was able to feed a family of 8 for $10 because i shopped here. Very convenient location for me.
It's usually closed at 9 (promptly) but tonight it was still open, very quiet and clean. They don't carry much baby formula. I wouldn't go here if it were my only need.
This is your typical Save-A-Lot . store is clean, not very crowded, you can get in and out quickly, they have their usual selection of off brand and brand name items.
This Save-A-Lot store I really don't like this Save-A-Lot but I do like to Save A Lot in Ohio where we live it's way better it's way bigger and it has more to offer
Your store clerk his name was O he help me find things in the store he helped me until I got what I needed he is a trooper very helpful nice and pleasant young man
Prices are good and the selection of products are fine for a small store. Workers are helpful but they always have lines. The parking lot is not to clean either.
Great prices, clean store. Definitely well-stocked. Parking lot could use a little TLC. Cashiers are friendly and funny. Don't judge a store by its neighborhood.
I have not been in this save a lot in longtime to buy something. But there food was nicely put in place and it was very easy to find what you are looking for.
I was surprised by the produce selection here, but the variety of products leaves something to be desired. A small oasis in the food desert that is Irvington.
Pretty good store. Wasn't to pack with people so it was a good day. The can chili is pretty good. Made chili dogs that day. Got a bag of chips and a sprite
Cashier was very nice! Great customer service. 10am her computer went down but she kept her cool and just let me talk. Will be back because of her.
Good products no bags no grocery you have to buy your bags no grocery carts hard to find grocery carts employees do not concentrate on their jobs
Some stuff is great deal . Love there shopping bags they hold a lot & don't bust on you like Kroger does. Possibly will shop there again .
Great prices. Check dates on all products. Choose items wisely, and you can save a lot of money, and have decent tastey meats, ect...
found everything we were looking for and then some the store was really nice and clean, all of the employees were very friendly !!!
Was very clean when I went into this store. Vegetables were fresh, meet with well stocked. Cashier's very friendly and personable.
I was in the store on 06/25/20.Plenty of carts an the store was reset . they are restocking the shelfs back up.looking good agine.
This is a good grocery with lots of good savings but not enough cashiers that's why I only rated this store 4 stars instead of 5
My boys and I have been there daily this summer. It's clean, they provide lunch and there is plenty to do for all ages.
Good, simple, cheap food. If you need to grab something for dinner on the way home, this place works. Nice people.
Unsafe location to shop. They don’t protect their customers, events happen in the store and security does nothing.
Not bad. Except for the milks does spoil after the sell date. Change it over to expired dates for milk brands.
This location is one of my favorite Save-A-Lot stores the selection is better the store is bigger and cleaner
There are three stores on the East side..they are going better but need work and more help at check out.
They guard the shopping carts like they gold. The young man was rude, basically told me to go to hell.
Decent prices most of the cashiers are friendly and greet you. Definitely need more cashiers though.
Pretty good reasonable prices for food. Still high, compare to other grocery store alittle cheaper.
I didn't mean for the previous comment/ review to be for save a lot... Sorry for any inconvenience
T-bone sale but ladies in front of me took last of family packs. I had to pay .50 more per pound.
Not a very big selection of meat I use to really like this store until you changed your products
One of my wife's favorite stores she loves it great prices great items outstanding meat products
Awesome store always clean and friendly employees a shop there a lot and probably will forever
Just like all agave A Lot stores I've been in the cashier was disgusting and didn't even care
Their quality of meat is excellent, I'll always buy my meats from here from this day forward.
One of the best stores to go to buy food at always have what I need and always at a low price
Friendly staff Clean store Grocery items instock Good prices Not too crowded Mask enforced
It's a nice store. Manager was very friendly and smiles. Gives you a reason to come back.
While they do have competitive pricing you can get healthier and better variety at Aldi.
My sister enjoyed shopping here. The store is small, but has most of your grocery needs.
Reasonable prices Very friendly staff The steaks are hand cut in store and are delicious
Savinglots is very clean and very good store to go to you will save a lot of money there
Love going there to get the crystal falls drinks, 4/3.00 Orange mango is my favorite!!
I go there to pick up my Amazon package, great place for a neighborhood grocery store
Majority of the time they have everything I'm looking for and the employees are nice
Low prices, some staff will treat you like family but it's a ghettofied environment
it's a clean store but we got rained on then we went in the store and was it cold.
Store was clean meat and vegetables are fresh employee's knowledgeable and polite.
They could have a little more variety. But the staff is always helpful and kind.
Starting to go back to my first love Aldi save a lot don't have nothing on them.
They have good sale prices but otherwise nothing different from any other place.
Good prices clean store casher was very polite overall very good store thank you
Prices are no longer cheaper than other stores, except for in sales ad. If then.
Sometimes busy, but cashier always friendly. Easy to shop and find what I need!
Don't really have what I need. I wanted diapers and they only went up to size 3
It is good place to pay food but not got a lot on thear Shelf all the time
Store was well laid out and thins easy to find and staff seems friendly!
Great store great prices but need more cashiers and friendlier security!
They had all parts of the chicken except fresh wings. …
Always good quality always great prices compared to Kroger and walmart
Great saving on meat dept but needs improvement with the produce dept
They run out of things quickly and seemed to never have carts inside
