Probably one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant in a while! Food took over an hour to arrive, had to go up several times just to get an update. Every single order that came out ended up being wrong and had to be sent back or told it was wrong. Every single order that had chicken was burnt, the outside edges of the Schnitzel's were black. My partner ordered a regular Parmi and received one with chili sauce... never have I seen it contain chili and it was not on the menu. The schnitzels were the size of my hand as well. Half of the patrons who were there that night just up and left after receiving refunds. We ended up going up and asking for refunds for the whole table, the manager kept pushing back and finally agreed to the refunds minus the drinks (which is fair) but then made an unnecessary comment of "you should have come in when it wasn't busy". I just won't come in at all. Absolute joke.

I ordered beef Parmigiana with Chips, but I got ParmiHairy with chips. Then I started to observe the kitchen, and I saw a guy who didn't cover his hair. Other kitchen staffs were all wearing proper hats. Nice hair though, just not pleasant to have it on my meal. Besides that, food tasted great. Service was good. And the place was clean and cosy. ================================== I don't know how to leave reply to what store manager responed my review, so I will just write here. I don't need compensation. So I wouldn't contact you. If I needed it, I would have already spoken with staff at that time. But it would be much grateful if I can see your staffs covering their hair next I visit.

We stopped here for dinner one night because we didn't want to eat at our usual go-to in Top Ryde shopping centre. I reluctantly agreed to eat here but much to my pleasant surprise, the meals were delicious. I ordered The Aussie Burger, which consists of a schnitzel, cheddar cheese, ringless bacon, beetroot, cage free egg and BBQ relish. The other members of my family ordered 2x schnitzel and chips but upgraded the chips to sweet potato chips for an extra $3. The restaurant is nice and spacious so good for people who are wary of crowded space. It's quite airy too though I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing in these times. Overall it was a good experience and next time, I would happily come back here again.

I like this place, the food is really good. So why am I giving it a low rating? We spent $65 for 2 adults and a kid and have no complaints about the quality of the food or the price, but charging $1 for a couple of teaspoons of tomato sauce is a low act. I could understand if it was some home-made gourmet sauce, but it's just ketchup from a bottle like you get at a supermarket and costs virtually zero for a restaurant that buys in bulk. We live locally and have been many times. I'd be happy to change this to at least a 4 star review if you changed this unAustralian policy of ketchup-gouging :)

We went here on a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy. There were still plenty of tables available. We didn't feel like having a burger or wrap. We wanted something more of a proper meal so ordered a plate of pork schnitzel with a cheese herb crumb, fries, gravy and side salad for dinner. Really delicious. Loved dipping the fries into the gravy. EDIT: I was going to reduce this to 3-stars as they took pork schnitzels off the menu. But, we went past tonight and saw that it's back. So rating maintained. Please don't EVER take pork off the menu... it's your best schnitzel by far!

The value for money on this caeser is outstanding I feel like I robbed them! This chicken was incredible it was mouthwatering and juicer than freshly squeezed orange juice. The serving sizes were well matched we felt full and just enough to spare in the bowl. The caesar salad was succulent, fresh, juicy, flavors were perfectly balanced, the ratio of ingredients in the salad was impeccable. This caesar salad changed my entire life and saved my marriage.

Truly the most underwhelming experience: You get exactly what you pay for - a mediocre fast food schnitzel. For a brand that's built around schnitzel you'd think they at least season their schnitzels enough. But I guess you shouldn't season your food if you want people to pay for your $3.50 SAUCES. Jesus christ. I would easily give this place a 2 stars, but their chips are actually good - 3 stars it is.

Another yummy schnitzel from this chain of restaurants. I previously went to their Gold Cast store at Pacific Fair, and this time to their Top Ryde outlet, and I gotta say, their schnitzels are great. I had their chicken schnitty with Loving Fresh Salad....the dressing is superb, with a sharp "tang". Sweet potato chips rounded out a very enjoyable, and satisfying lunch! Dining room was generous, and had an "outdoors / alfresco feel due to the very wide glass windows. Service was good as expected too. Make it a favourite for your next schnitzel, I did. Around $15.50 and sides extra.

I first ordered from here a few minute after getting home from a long, stupid walk in the sun. I was very ill and instantly passed out for several hours from sunstroke. When I woke up there was chicken schnitzel and chips at my door, still warm despite the duration. Due to my desperation in that moment this place now has some level of divinity for me. I've eaten here again several times and it is genuinely the best chicken schnitty I have ever had. Bless.

I didn't have a good experience when ordering via Uber eats, so I was hesitant to go back but I did and it was a much better experience. I ordered the Cesar salad and it was fantastic, never had it before with schnitzel, but it makes a huge difference. I actually really enjoyed it. I hardly ever order salads when I go out, but I was after something light, and it was the only option in the menu that kind of fit in that category. I was extremely full when I finished it. It's a generous portion. .

We eat here several times a year, usually for take away. The food is fresh and tasty but it is really slow and they do forget things. Last time they forgot my salad and luckily I checked before I left. The person before had something missing as did the person after me. The last time I picked up take away they had people who were waiting an hour for food. They need to address this or they will lose business.

Wraps, burgers and plates of schnitzel. Nice vibe with indoor and outdoor seating, reasonable prices and friendly service. I was recommended Schnitz for their chips and they didn’t disappoint - beautifully seasoned and golden. On the other hand, I probably expected a little more from the parma chicken schnitzel, a little thin for my liking and the sauce was ok, not great. I will try another dish from the menu next time, but will definitely upsize the chips!

Good food here but don't come during peak periods. They don't have enough staff to keep up. Everyone was waiting for their food as long as we were. Waiting 45 minutes was enough for me, I got a refund and left. Terrible service. Worst part was they were still taking new orders knowing the patrons would be waiting that long.

Amazing schnitzels and chips, really love going here, however I give this a 4 star, because the schnitzel sizes are so inconsistent. One time you can get a decent size schnitz for a great price, other times it's only a few bites worth, and isn't much bigger than the kid's snack size which is by far cheaper. It's a little disappointing to get a small one, especially delivered with Uber. Otherwise, love the food here

Customer service 10/10 all thanks to one waiter named Christian T. I was impressed by the quality of the staff especially when Christian served us and took our plates. The Parma he made was really good too. I would come again just to have him serve me. The Schnitz Franchise would be nothing without Christian.

I would highly recommend! Schnitz is great for all with many options for people with certain food allergies. With gluten free options that are adored, as well as their large variety of schnitzels you can order, the restaurant meets your needs. I am a regular customer and love the quality of the food and the great prices they serve them for, recommending the restaurant to all!

I know this place is all about schnitzels, but the chips were some of the best I've had in a long time - umami, light and crispy, with a good selection of sauces. The schnitzels were also great (clearly made from breast fillet as opposed to the adult sized chicken nuggets you sometimes come across at other places). Good air circulation as it opens onto the piazza.

Not bad, think of the middle tier fast food chain. Chicken was surprisingly not bad, and would love a bigger portion. The nuggets were nice but $7.50 for 6 was steep, the photos were deceiving showing to be larger size but turned out is no bigger than what you get from maccas.

Ordered few items for takeaway, when I got home I found out the schnitzel was burnt, they even put the burnt side on the bottom. Went back and they did gave me a fresh one (hence the second star) Food is ok for the price, but the fact that they serve me a burnt one will ensure I won't go back and I won't recommend it

Schnitz burgers were tasty, and similar to what most people mentioned, the schnitz was cooked nicely - leaving a tender and juicy chicken in nicely crafted burgers. We had the Aussie and the Swiss Sweet potato fries and normal potato fries were pretty good too.

The worker name Emily she doesn’t know how to talk with customers, I waited like 30 minutes for my order to get prepared, every 10 minutes I asked for my order and she was replying calmly saying wait for another 10 minutes and literally I waited 30 minutes, she gave me uncooked food, would never go there again.

Schnitz at Top Ryde is an excellent place to satisfy your craving for delicious schnitzels. The chicken schnitzel was perfectly cooked, crispy and flavorful, and the toppings were generous. The sides were also great, especially the sweet potato fries. The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

Don't come here. The prices are completely horrendous. I paid $18.00 for an insultingly small chicken wrap that was mere centimetres long. I won't be going back anytime soon.

The Schnitzel definitely is affected by shrinkflation. Ok feed for a snack, but not quite a full meal. Tasty for what it is. We had the ham and cheese Schnitzel and the Schnitzel wrap. Both tasty but left us wanting more!

All in all just basic shnitzels with small bells and whistles, no extraordinary taste and small portions for high price take away. Got our order wrong but rectified. Atmosphere was probably best aspect of this place.

Small pretty average schnitzel, type of schnitzel you would get from any RSL. Chips was nice, but idk, from a restaurant that specialises in schnitzel i was expecting something a bit more special.

I went here for the first time on the 8th of October 2022 ordering a Hawaiian Schnitzel Parmigana. It didn't taste too bad as the schnitzel and chips were cooked well. Overall: 8/10

We tried the vegan schnitzel and it was quite good. They also have vegan mayonnaise and vegan cheese. Service was ok, but staff could be friendlier. Overall it was ok.

This is one of my favourite places for a meal. The chicken is fantastic, and the chips are out of this world! The staff are friendly, and the service is quick.
