Children's playground, Picnic Tables and benches with a view of Georges river and Taren Point bridge. The toilets are being renovated and are closed but two (2) Porta-loos are available. The council has workman renewing the fence seperating the picnic area from the beach. The park can be accessed by taking the last left turn before the bridge taking you past Saint George Sailing Club or from Doll's Point by following the bay towards the Taren Point Bridge. Toilet upgades have not been completed after a few weeks since our last visit but still a quiet and peaceful place for a picnic lunch midweek.

Such a different, better place to what I remember from my childhood. It used to have a soccer field there, but now, not only does it have toilets, playground & picnic facilities but also things of an environmental interest, including big fig & other trees providing good shade and the remediated tidal wetland & creek area complete with birdhide and interesting meadering pathways.
Playground
Great, well-shaded area for young kids.
Restrooms
Clean, tidy & regularly replenished with toilet paper & hand wash.

Fronting Botany Bay with a long beach front it caters for picnics, swimming ‍♂️ and jet skis. There are a couple of restaurants/clubs and a Cafe further down a nice walkway to the George's River sailing club . Dog friendly makes this area wonderful haven for bike riders and walkers alike. This place is teaming with life, oyster clusters , schools of tiny fish , a lot of birds and the start of a Mangrove forest. It's nice and relaxing.

Beautiful place to visit, don't have to go for a swim, just a walk on the sand, or near the water, it will make you feel revitalised.

  • Kong Yin Lai

Small park with a children's playground. You'll probably not even notice it on your walk along the beach. Unless you have children.

Gentle sloping beach great for little ones. Some people use it for fishing. BBQ in the park area. Council are upgrading the area.

Best part of the beach is here especially when a low tide leaves metres of sand for the children to run around.
