What kind of Micky mouse company is Screwfix? I’ve been led to this store under false pretences as their system was showing stock availability of 1 x 89836. So I made the journey to the store and after purchasing the product and waiting 15 minutes for a staff member to come back and tell me that the item was not at the location and unavailable. I explained that I traveled quite a distance and asked if they supply a similar product which was in stock could be provided and price matched as Screwfix was at fault as a result of this I am literally out of pocket time wise and the cost of a wasted journey. He asked if I wanted to speak to a Manager, which I replied yes. The manager Adrian would not even come out to speak to me or even attempt to meet me half way with a counter offer and I was basically told I could either get a refund or purchase another item which was more expensive even though this whole situation was a result of Screwfix being 100% at fault. As a business man, when I’ve made errors, rectifying any issues with my customers has always been at my expense, as it’s the correct thing to do. Awesome way to treat customers Screwfix.
The usual Screwfix offering, with the added advantage of 24 hour opening on weekdays, which is a real bonus to insomniacs like me. Click and Collect is definitely the way to go, because this is generally a busy branch and I'm not keen on waiting - I'm disabled and would usually use a wheelchair, but the door is a bit of a nightmare for that, so I tend to switch to crutches, which makes a short wait essential. Staff are generally helpful, and will help me get things out to my car, which had often given Screwfix in general and this branch in particular my custom versus local competitors. I'm knocking one star off for the parking situation. While there is a disabled space, it's pretty much the furthest from the door, and is often obstructed by other customers parking there. It may not be the most important thing, but it would make life that little bit easier if they reviewed how they managed it.
Worse place to visit even before covid they are so unorganised it's beyond a joke. Offering click and collect and yet you have to stand outside in a queue for 30 minutes. There were 4 people in front of me but yet it took more than 30 minutes to get in. I was in and out within 30 seconds. It clearly says at the front of the store click and collect or have your order ready no catalogues in store but yet you serve a couple taking up over 20 minutes of time because they can't decide what they want to buy. I'm disabled I was in so much pain and discomfort standing out there no where to sit nothing to lean on. The staff member outside was useless he said if I pressed the disabled buzzer no one would come out, he could see I was getting uncomfortable he didn't once offer me a seat or ask me to wait in my car until my turn. He sat there on his phone
This is my local branch which I have been coming here for years and they are brilliant. Open early and close late, the staff members are friendly. I had a problem where a customer ordered a product from china and all the bolts and sizes were wrong even the instruction manual did not make sense. So i brought in random bolts and nut sizes where thankfully Abdul the duty manager there, went way up and beyond. Helped me size up all the bolts and get me the missing bolts and nuts i needed to finish off the customer's ottoman bed. His very friendly and efficient and I am and will be a loyal customer. Great guy
Ordered from these guys in good faith to collect items from the store the next day. On the way to the store i get a call to say that the items are not actually in stock but will be the next day. Tomrrow i will be in another part of the country and so asked for refund so i could order from another store. Was in formed that i will still have to take time out of my day to visit the same store or call some automated hell phone line to solve a problem that was not of my making.
A standard Screwfix really. They had what we needed and the girl behind the counter was friendly enough if not very knowledgeable (which is sadly the norm for most counter staff these days ). The car park is a bit small but to be expected in this area. On the subject of car parks why oh why don't places like this have bigger bays to reflect the fact that most of their customers drive transit size vans?
Hi guys, Hint of the day is that you need to go Online an register and order to pick up or deliver, as you can't just turn up order. The details regarding finding your local store at this address is:- Unit3-4 Maverton Road, Bow Stratford E3 2JE. Only 1 star today as I didn't know this when I arrived, normal times great service. And took me half an hour to get some Silicone sealant. Hope this helps.
Called ahead to make sure we could return stuff the builder bought, on his card, that he didn't need, all in packaging, with receipt, and they said that's fine, we can give you a store credit. Until we got there, and it can only be credited to the builder. I don't object to the policy, I do object to the manager having a different version of it to the CS staff.
Only screwfix I use daily basis is bow . I don't mind if all the brnach close but not this branch. I had good customer service today the both girls were lovely, supportive and really helpful. One of the best reason for this screwfix is free parking and plenty of them also there all the store we need for work purposes. I would love to see them always there .
The service was grate, the people were grate. However I over heard the manager timing a working on his brake. Yes within a 6 hour shift the legally allowed time is 15 minutes. However I feel like any company worth is salt would be more respectful of there employees, as to not enforce this on there employees like a concentration camp.
Abdul duty manager was very helpful and welcoming. I would recommend this store as I can see as well as serving the customers he was making sure the other staff were also serving customers waiting. This is very important in this trade as time is always money. I specifically use this branch for because of the good service provided
Good afternoon my experience was lovely gentleman abduls service on point he knows what his doin in the place I see him flying around the warehouse rushing away just to please the customers and by the look of things he cares about the customer more that's what bring me back to the store because he know what his doing
Very bad service 3 order, only 1 order fulfilled. 1 order 10PCS item said missing, and last order 6PCS item said collected, but I didn't collect, why you say it's collected. So bad Inventory management, really surprise how you do the accounting job? No stock but your system said YES, is this fraud to HMRC?
Always a great location to pick up a wide range of DIY and trade equipment and parts. Quality and reliable products covering everything you need. Helpful product reviews on the website. Ideal collection point for click and collect purchases. Staff friendly and helpful. Very competitive pricing.
Customer service is absolutely amazing, very helpful, even for a novice they don't treat you any less (unlike TOOLSTAION where customer service is non existant). Dealt with enquiry Overy the phone very effecently and so friendly. Definitely recommend this place for all DIY needs.
They were better during lockdown. Used to be my go to place. Only shop there now if I absolutely have to. The wait times, the aggro all make for a really unhappy shopping experience. Probably better spending money at the many other shops on the estate that have their act together
Website easy to navigate, click & collect was quick and easy to use, product picked and ready to collect within minutes, member of staff who served me was polite and helpful, interlocking floor mats I purchased were compatible with a set I previously bought elsewhere
Went on a non busy day, first time at bow branch. Bad mistake. Load of staff, but everyone of them fluffing around like they are here for a picnic. Took ages for someone just to get few bolts I ordered to me. Never again, going back, sticking to my usual branch.
The best Service My number one go-to place for DIY. Good choice of products, best price, easy click and collect service and returns policy as the items purchased can be seen on your online account. The staff are always Polite and Helpful. Bow branch Top marks
Well located, parking facilities, friendly and knowledgable staff, great selection of stuff! Every time ive gone to screwfix ive found what i needed very quickly, staff have answered all my questions, prices have been reasonable - a good experience overall
Two different customer service, same query. The boy if I remember, named Jeban was very helpful, as I didnt know the name.of item I.wanted to purchase. Next morning, a girl wasnt moving a finger to help me aa I again didnt know the name of the item.
Worst of screwfix in London. every time I order something and go for it they don't have it. always.!! and they never let you know. Mongolia system click and collect absolutely is not function here. Save our time and nerv and visit another Shop..
All I can say is this store is amazing I go in there asking for random items and they are so knowledgeable and I always leave with the right stuff. If like me you don't understand DIY these guys take the time to explain. The best Screwfix ever
This is my favourite store locally, been coming here for a long time. Customer service is very good. The duty manager Abdul is very helpful and has excellent customer service skills. Appreciate staff who always look after tradesman. Thanks
Very useful place and easy for me a non-car owner to get to. They are doing a great job of moving from being a predominantly trade store to one that DIY guys like me go to. This is reflected in their increased opening hours of a weekend.
Covid19 service is so slow only one person serving and quee is long and moves so slowly. The rest of the staff standing around looking to make sure everyone is safe. Like they are going to be able to protect you from air Bourne viruses.
This place is in the middle of no where. Quite difficult to get to on foot. I’d advise you to get bus or car for safety. It’s near a motor way. Very helpful staff, even though they didn’t have what I wanted they found an alternative.
I've been standing in a growing queue for 20 mins. The guy keeps shouting for help but the 3+ staff in the back are just chatting and having a jolly good time 'filling customer orders'. They dont care about customer service here.
Well... it says here that the shop is open till 21.00 was there at 17.02 and walked in without a problem, the door was wide open. and someone shouted while i was wondering "we are close". Would be nice if you put the hours right.
First guy who ordered my stuff did really good customer service but two days after I went to collect my items guy who served he doesn't know customer service at all. It was like he's only doing this job because he had to. Awful
Am regular to this shop for work bits on the way in to my East London Jobs, always friendly and efficient, and also some thought put into layout in helping busier in periods. The rest is what you expect from a Screwfix store.
Excellent customer service from a Lad by the name of Jordan Morris who helped me out to the fullest when my order didn't get delivered. Ordered it to my house in no time. Excellent service skills …
Life saver, especially when you are doing a DIY job, and discover you need to make a urgent purchase, checked the website and confirmed item was in stock and seamless collection, even late on a Saturday afternoon.
Went there to get a bolt connector as my existing one had slightly damaged thread. They didn’t have what I was after but the staff at the door was helpful enough to fix the damaged thread of my existing connector.
Couldn't do without the place. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Go late or early (when it's not too busy) and they can offer all sorts of advice and help regarding their stock and any projects you are working on.
For tradesmen on the clock this branch had a care free slow pace! No sense of urgency! Went in waited made an order and paid for it and then waited 15 -20 min for someone to come back and say its not in stock!
The staff in Screwfix are fantastic. So helpful and patient with all my questions and I go away with the right materials. Everyone, staff and customers adhering to masks and social distancing. Thank you.
Staff are soo polite and extremely helpful. It's the best DIY store, has everything i ever need!!! Affordable prices and fast service too. 100% would recommend it! To anyone and everyone …
The best customer service .... also they helped me out to arrange all my car in order to fit everything ( Hakin and Cris ) bc I had a big order with small car. Thanks a lot caring …
Honestly the best service time and time again. Adam went above and beyond to help me pick up my item and also order a few other things. Superb, helpful, and brilliant customer service!
What can I say.. the guys here know their stuff! If they have it, perfect! if they don't then they will point you in the right direction.. ask to speak to penguin when your there! Lol
Drove for miles for a job and realised I had forgotten a tube of sealant. Absolutely amazed they were still open at 8:45pm. Saved me so much time. So grateful. Well done Screwfix
If you are into diy or simply need some screw or tools they got everything. Really cheap and fast service. They do also delivery. Essential! I feel very lucky to live next to it!
Enam was v helpful when I was trying to find the right spot light. Went back and forth due to my own error but he helped and was patient. Top man. Great customer service.
I love this place and the staff that work there. Easy collection process, returns and the seamless service the staff have delivered over my last 30 visits in two months.
You have some serious issues with queues and collection...both taking way too long...average time I'm waiting is 10/15min sometimes I'm the only one there. Sort it out
Went in there ordered my things and left without any problems or waiting around. Places to park too close to main roads as well if you need to travel to get here.
Great place to pick up all your diy stuff. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. Only downside is finding parking during peak time can be difficult.
Laura and Sid have given exceptional customer service!!! Explained all the technical aspects of items and discounts. Thanks alot guys for your time and effort!
Very handy to pick up items ordered on line. Goods are usually available after only one hour. Good range of products in stock. Friendly and efficient service
they have everything on the internet and when you go to pick up they say that you can order tomorrow. They did it 4 times. worst screwfix I've ever been to
Having ordered several items from Screwfix over the last month, they provide a speedy Click and Collect service - often with availability on the same day.
Well stocked and fast, knowledgable staff - would recommend, far better than having the pain in the ass of visiting B&Q (better prices too in most cases)
Service is rubbish ,one person on the counter, and a shop full of customers.?very reluctant to use them also toolstation, obviously not paying good wages.
I have been using Screwfix Bow for over 10 years and it has always given me a great service. Maz the manager is very good and is very helpful. …
Great prices on various items, can generally get whatever you need on the day to get pretty much any job done if not next day delivery.
Good prices, efficient service and convenient location. Probably best to order and pay online so you can just pick up within minutes.
Always get a good service here. Never any issues Was served by Adam today, what a friendly and professional member of staff Thank you
Always great service, bit hard for stockcheck until select shop at minute but with all going on to be expected waiting deliveries
Great selection and good staff. Do the click and collect - saves your time, staff's time and reduces waiting times for everyone.
As always, quick and friendly service. Easy to oder online and ready within minutes for the collection. Definitely recommend
Very good for what it does. Intelligent helpful staff great advice excellent product knowledge fantastic customer service.
This branch had patient and well informed staff and a Car Park that was extremely useful. I look forward to my next visit
Almost nothing on display. Very small shop. But good place if you know what to buy as they will get from the store area.
Rubel He was excellent,he seems pleased to help me and product knowledge was very good..very happy with his service..
Very conveniently located .reasonable prices .courteous staff and prompt service .a delight to be a customer there .
Used for work and hobby. Best check on line what's they got in store before making your journey with the van tho!
They do not stock basic toilet plungers! I unfortunately was served by the least helpful person on the counter.
Friendly, helpful staff and quick to prep click and collect orders. I think mine was ready in under an hour.
Both young lady's where very helpful, will return if in area. Plus the burger van out the front is top notch
Brandon the assistant was really helpful and gave me some tips will definitely go back to my local screwfix
It's a bit slow buying stuff because the employees need more experience in the materials you ask them for.
Longer wait than expected as there's no separate click and collect desk. Otherwise pleasant helpful people
Faith is the best! She really took time to understand my needs and then offer solutions based on my needs.
The service is very slow every time I have visited. Would avoid and simply go to tool station opposite.
Busy location parking can be hard after 9am all vans but good location for other trade places friendly
Very friendly staff, covid safe and clean. Would have given 5 stars but some stock was not available.
Good parking area. Bus stop for 339 1 minute away. Check offers before buying from regular catalogue
What makes this branch stand out is the cheerful and helpful staff. Always a pleasure to shop there.
Quick friendly service, great prices. It's more like Argos than B&Q, magazines to chose your items
Incredibly friendly staff, especially Salma who was really helpful at processing a return for us!
Great place to get all things DIY at any time of the day - long opening hours & reasonable prices
Good costumer service but is getting expensive it looks like is not worth it to go there any more
Click and collect best option, very polite staff, always opening tills to speed up process.
Vanessa and the team handled my return and replacement with care and efficiency, thank you
The lady manager was not as good and polite as she should be. Other staff was fine.
Tanvir is a really attentive staff member. He showed great help with my enquiries!
Left my debit card here and the staff looked my account up and phoned me! Top team
Great Manager very helpful, items come out fairly quick also have items in stock.
Very well stocked, and very well priced too. Customer service is very good also.
Good location for picking odds bits up. Nice staff and easy access to branch.
Good, staff on hand is awesome but you need to know what are you there fore.
The staff are efficient and do their job well. Never had any issues here.
Good prices to quality ratio. Stock level good. Service quick and polite.
Very friendly and informed staff, all items in stock. Very happy!
Wicked service! Walked in with a suit skipped the line!
Good shop but long wait sometimes when they're busy
Very friendly and quick service.
