"Seabass Cycles staff are super friendly and knowledgeable"
"I moved to the area back in February 2023"
A flawless bike buying experience from start to finish. I was helped by Ian to put together my dream bike, sourcing most of the bike and components from SeaBass and a few parts from a third party. Once I got all the parts to the shop, my bike was built in record time by Ian's colleague Charlie after I mentioned a ride I had planned this weekend. Everyone I spoke to at the shop was super friendly, even being wished as I was leaving the phrase you only hear a handful of times in one's life: 'Happy New Bike Day'. Ian guided me through every step of the process, and made some great recommendations to help make everything stress free and then there's the bike. What a dream. Can't wait to put thousands and thousands of miles on it. Huge thanks to everyone at SeaBass. Safe to say I've got my new favourite bike shop in London. PS Love the Death/Thrash metal shop playlists.
This will be my go-to bike shop from now onwards. There are a couple of bike shops closer to me so it took me a while to use these guys, but I was blown away by the experience and will now travel the further distance to use them in the future. They had a solution and fix for everything, when I had been told no elsewhere beforehand. They were kind, attentive and took proper time going through everything with me. Service was swift with updates along the way. Parts are well stocked and well priced unlike somewhere like Evans. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgable. My bike rides a dream now. They put a lot of care and passion into what they do. Can't recommend this independent shop enough!
Really great visit to SeaBass which deserves a lil review. From emailing to ask questions or quotes to then coming into the shop everyone is really knowledgeable, welcoming and genuinely want to help you get most fun out of your bike. Great unbiased advice, work done in same day if they can, lots of attention to detail and on hand to help explain things when ready - everyone super friendly and great selection of things (and bikes to buy). Especially big shout out to Ian who is a great person to talk to about bikes and amazing customer service super nice - really appreciate it. Cheers!
Seabass Cycles staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Brought my biker after a pedal fell off and realised that the bike needed some work including a good service, new tyres, brake pads. I asked for adjustments to my bike and everything was discussed and taken into account. They told me to come in 6 weeks time to ensure that all the work was good. Have to say brilliant staff, great shop and left feeling secure that the bike was fixed properly. Bike is great thanks and you have a new customer even though I don't live in London. See you all soon.
I moved to the area back in February 2023. There are a handful of bike shops in the area and at the time, Evans was closer so I used them. They didn't do a good job on replacing a bottom bracket so I took it to Seabass. They fixed the issue and at the time, am issue with my partners bike. Since then I've always used them. They are very friendly. You don't have long to wait to wait to book your bike in and sometimes can do quick fixes while you wait. Best bike shop I've come across. Highly recommend.
The team at this shop are superb. Super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and generous with time. Gladly considered all questions and opinions I had (justified or otherwise!) and they went to the next mile to find the right components for me. As with most brick and mortar bike shops these days, if you know exactly what you want and can fit it yourself, you will likely find cheaper online; but if you have questions, quirks or need help building, I strongly recommend Seabass.
Mate had given me his old bike so I went to this bike shop to pump the tires that had a valve I couldn't fit with my pump at home. Customer service was on point, bike service was very quick and was even free of charge because it was such a small job, which I was expecting to pay a small amount for. Even got some good advice on other bits and bobs that I could improve on my bike. Will definitely be coming back! =D
Always knowledgeable and helpful experience here. Everyone who works here clearly loves bikes and it shows in their service. No overcharging for stuff you don't need and no upselling either. None of them get commission so you know you can trust their recommendations too! Friendly staff, great service and priced very reasonably. The only place I trust with my bike, would strongly recommend!
Thanks for providing a brilliant service! Came in on a Saturday afternoon to get a fault with my brakes sorted before a ride the next day. Not only did they do that, they also got to the bottom of an annoying creaking that I'd spent months trying to identify. There are some great mechanics and I'll certainly be back if (when) something else goes wrong with my mountain bike.
I've found Seabass Cycles to be a friendly business with an original shop and products, often willing to help at short notice if they can, and provide good solutions to the issues I've turned up with. Each time I've dealt with Charlie who amongst other tasks, sorted some gearing issues, fitted some new pedals and installed a hexlox system. Thanks Charlie.
Left my bike with them for the first time two days ago, and when I collected today it wasn’t working properly. Went back twice and it still doesn’t work as it should be. Basically I spent £180 and I have to go to another bike shop again! Staff is really friendly but I’m not sure they know what they’re doing. Definitely do not recommend.
Had a flat tire on our pram and didn't have all the stuff I needed to sort. They very kindly pumped up and refitted free of charge. Friendly, helpful and would be my first choice next time I need any bike repairs/ advice or equipment. Thanks guys, really appreciate it.
Dropped in today missing a bolt for my pannier rack, and these guys sorted me out - speedy, efficient and friendly. Have had my bike serviced here a couple of times too, always good quality and value. Everything you need from a local bike shop. Recommend!
I have been having my bike serviced here for years, 1st in Camberwell and now in Peckham. The guys there are friendly and welcoming. They know their stuff and every time I cycle off it’s like having a brand new bike! I could never go anywhere else!
I have been using this service for quite a long time. The guys are friendly and honest Each time you approach they are happy to assist there service exceed expectations I can recommend them if you are looking for a professional service in the area
This is the first time I've used Seabass Cycles. They provided a prompt, friendly, hassle free service of my Brompton bike. Transmission and a few other components needed replacing. I received a phone call to advise me what work was needed
These guys are so brilliant. My bike was badly damaged in an accident and I’ve been in dispute over the costs of repair with the insurance company for the car that hit me for months. They held onto it for me for months, checking in with me
I recently got my bike serviced and am very happy with it! Very friendly team, they kept me updated throughout and did an excellent job. They even fixed my bike rack which had a piece broken and another bike shop said it can't be repair it
It’s nice to visit a bike store that’s had the foresight to fix a sliding door so it’s easy to get your bike in and out. It’s also nice and spacious inside. The team here are professional and friendly and give everyone visiting assistance
My favourite and most trusted bike shop. The team are so knowledgable and go the extra mile to find a solution and make recommendations whilst doing so in a friendly and accessible way and always with getting you the best value in mind.
Friendly bike shop with quality service and parts. I had my rear wheel stolen and needed a local shop that could provide a replacement quickly. The staff at Seabass Cycles were friendly and helpful. I'm sure there are cheaper parts
Awful customer service that made me feel unwelcomed by the long hair guy at the till. Also prices (at least for my service) were on the high end. Not sure if I'll be back if I get this treatment at this price
Used this bike shop for the first time and was very pleased with the service. Had a problem with the brakes on my bike (thought it needed new pads, but it didn’t). Got fixed same day for a very small fee.
Had a flat on my commute home and was welcomed in the shop to do my own repairs, all with a great attitude. Seems like the sort of friendly shop you won't find in any of the national chains.
Sooo helpful! Fixed my brakes for a good review - which I am gladly writingThanks do much for your help - I was literally putting my foot down to stop …
I love this shop! These guys are the real deal and they have solved a couple of niggly problems with our bikes which other shops have given up on. Highly recommended …
Popped in on the way home as the gears on my bike were skipping. Staff were kind enough to look at it straight away, fixed it in 10 minutes and no charge. Great service.
Without doubt the best bike shop have ever used. Very high quality work, service is faultless (available and done on the day it goes in) and very fair pricing too.
Asked Seabass whether they could send me an Arundel Loonybin cage quickly, as I needed it for a trip. They got it out almost immediately, sent nice stickers too!
This place does bikes. They sell them. They fix them. They have parts. They have accessories. Most importantly, they're a nice bunch and they have stickers ;)
Great service, reasonable prices, and friendly people with reliable, speedy service. Super easy to talk to makes the experience a lot smoother.
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Really accommodating and willingness to help - for sure a great place to grab bike bits and services!
So unbelievably helpful, went in there with a faulty bike and within seconds was fixed. Great customer service
These guys are the best in town! Top service, great vibes and fair prices. Everything you and your bike needs.
Nice staff, great selection of gear and they did a quick fix of my Brompton for free. Will certainly be back.
These guys have looked after my bike for nearly two years. Great bunch, been a pleasure to deal with.
Great guys. very helpful and go the extra mile to sort you out. Good prices and excellent service.
Excellent service! Friendly, approachable and always really helpful.
Great shop and great people, my go to bike shop from now.
