We’ve had a storage unit here for almost a year. New owners took over and jacked up the monthly price by about $15.00 on top of what we already thought was kinda pricy. The security is good and they have cameras all over the place to keep people from living in their units which was a problem at out old location. They make you buy their locks which are the old vending machine locks but everybody has to make a buck, right? Good location and about 5 minutes from our house, people that work there seem friendly enough the few times I’ve had to deal with them, and the elevators seem to work all the time these are the reason I gave three stars. Outside of that it is very expensive ( they charge more than a house per square foot) and they got rid of the free truck to use if you have a storage unit there. It is always clean inside and we never seem to run into very many people when we are there. Update… April 2023 That review was posted over a year ago. They now have another owner and a great new manager, Brian who goes the extra mile to make sure everything is great! He and the new owners have made some great new upgrades to security which include a security guard that is there at night after closing, new cameras inside the building and better security for the doors. They always have some great specials and are always willing to review your account to see where they can save you money! They bought additional carts and we’ve never had a problem finding one to move our stuff in or out. The halls are always clean, Brian has worked hard to get to know the tenants that visit on a regular basis and makes a point to always say hi or at least wave when he sees us. Big change from previous review!
I’ve been using this facility and it’s various management throughout the years since it opened in 2018. As a disabled veteran it’s important to me to have a storage unit on the first floor for ease of access and not exacerbate prior injuries. Brandon helped me about a week ago and his kindness and attentive demeanor made me feel heard and considered. The last year has been one life challenge and family emergency after another, and Brandon expressed care and genuine desire to help where previous staff there didn’t. I originally rented the unit Feb of 2022 for $220, and the previous management rented out my unit under me and in the subsequent contract charged me $240, just to raise it to $300 out of nowhere. As a full time graduate student whose family circumstance/need didn’t allow for employment, paying that much monthly hurt my finances since that was not what was under contract. I had talked to previous staff and left countless messages for their manager to reach out to me to no avail. I tried again a week ago, and Brandon was a breath of fresh air by simply being humane and thoughtful. I can’t speak for the other staff as I’ve not had the pleasure of speaking with them, but I can say that Brandon showed a lot of kindness and in these times where life is putting so much on my plate, I am very grateful to know not all companies or people are dry, cold and dismissive. The care and help I’m getting from the new management at this facility is fantastic and if you need a storage facility, def go here. It’s safe, professional and kind.

They really look out & care for the customer. No shady-sh*t. And they are legit with knowing their stuff / operations etc. --- 7/2023: I am beyond impressed by the professionalism and customer service of Tahj and Brandon at the 8327 S Congress Ave SecureSpace location. They were always pleasant, quick to respond, answered all my questions with thorough knowledge of the operations of this location, super helpful, and friendly. They went the extra mile to make sure my access through the gate and unit were working properly -- made sure I knew and felt comfortable with how everything operated and where everything was. They were articulate and considerate of my time - asking me if I preferred going through the lease signing with their assistance or if I preferred being left alone to do my own thing. They were always respectful of my time and went out of their way to call me about reminders or a heads up with any important to-do's that I needed to be aware/reminded of. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE LOCATION/SERVICE PROVIDER!!!
New 1 Star Review: All Stor Self Storage was purchased by corporate America (also known as Central Self Storage) and the new management could care less about their tenants. They drastically cut hours that tenants can access storage units “for security” reasons. No going in after 7PM. I’ve been a tenant for almost a year and not once experienced issues. They over promise and well under deliver. I was promised a call back from the regional manager within 1 or 2 days. That was well over a week ago. When you call, it’s just a call center. They refuse to give anyone’s contact information out… not even an email address? Ironically, their posted hours state they’re open on Saturday, but the office is closed in the middle of the afternoon. Facility is dirtier. Walls are scuffed up. It’s only been a few weeks…but don’t worry, that fancy kiosk out front that lets you lease on demand is worth it. Previous 5 Star Review from Prior Management: Priscilla is hands down, amazing. Incredible rates, great service and fantastic specials for move-in. Couldn’t be happier with All Stor. If you’re looking for storage in south Austin, look no further!
DON'T DO IT! All of my stuff got stolen out of my unit. There were people living in one of the storage units, so I should have known it was shady. And stay away from the units on the top floor! They have *massive* & easily accessible spaces above them, far beyond fire department requirements. You don't even need a ladder to get up there, just pull yourself up and then you can go shopping from unit to unit. Hey, at least I didn't have much left to move! ***** Original review on move-in day, below. I gave them four stars. BTW by the time I moved out the AC had been broken for a while... ***** The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is that the office wasn't open during business hours in the middle of the day that I was supposed to sign the lease. Fortunately, there is a kiosk outside that allowed me to move in that day. The climate-controlled area is clean and cool and the elevators and incredibly spacious (!!) hand truck made move in easy. The ceilings are super tall, too, even on the top floor! ***LOL little did I know.....***
Best deal in the whole area by far. Brand new facility, spotlessly clean, great climate control, free move-in truck, safe area. Priscilla, the manager, couldn't have been better -- friendly, super professional. What's crazy is -- you'll never know about it! I must have spent at least 4 hours internet searching storage units in the area, with and without move-in truck. This place never came up! I only found about it through word-of-mouth from the manager of another storage place I had selected (because they didn't have any units my size). So really, their prices are lower than they should be because they have lots of empty units, because of their poor/non-existent internet presence. Net result: I got a brand new storage unit, cheaper than anything within 10 miles except for a very run down unit in an unsafe area 3 miles away. And with a free move-in truck to boot.
Brandon and Tahj are great. Originally got a 10x10 unit but realized it wouldn't be big enough, they got me switched over to a larger unit with no problems. I was informed of the price increase but it was still by far the cheapest storage facility I found. So far, so good. I needed a storage unit quick so didn't have time to read the reviews until today. After reading the reviews I'm a little nervous with all the reported break ins. I was however informed of the homeless issue they were having and was reassured that changes had been made and security is now on the premises, although I have yet to see them. I really can't afford to, but it has me considering increasing my rental property loss/damage insurance for my unit. Let's hope I won't need it. I'll update my review after I've been here a little longer. Until then Brandon, Tahj keep up the good work.
Under new management. Laid back, but will enforce the rules. Prior management was a bit rude. The staff was friendly. The new gentleman running the place is a one man show. He's on point. Office closes for lunch so don't go saying that the office is closed during business hours. I repeat, one man show. The facility is staffed with another gentleman who performs house/grounds keeping. He stays busy. Let me say this. If I showed up at your place before you washed dishes that collected overnight and put that pic on display with a negative comment, it wouldn't be fair would it? It's a large facility. Give him a chance. Unless you insist they hire more staff that adds to the overhead cost that rolls down to who? Yeah, it's our space too, clean up after yourselves. I trust my stuff is in good hands.
This facility is brand new and state of the art. It's very impressive. It's easily accessed from I35/Slaughter Ln on Congress. The manager is so nice and professional. I've had an outside storage for several months now. It's super easy to get right in front of every storage room, with your vehicle. They have gated keypad entry for vehicles and pedestrians. They also have security cameras covering the entire place. They use a new type of lock embedded in the door latch, which makes it impossible to break into without a torch to cut the door. They also have some kind of promotion to use their moving truck for new renters. It has great lighting that brilliantly lights the entire facility at night. It is fairly priced and overall a fantastic place.
I am very pleased and impressed with Mr. D. Rodríguez at your Congress Avenue location. From the very beginning he has gone above and beyond to facilitate my storage rental process. He helped me with my phone to do on-line registration. Over the days I have gone into the office and every time he is very professional and courteous. He represents your company in a very positive way. Because of his attitude and professional skills I will gladly recommend your company. In my career I was the general manager of every position I held and I know the importance of an employ that holds up your rules and policies. Take good care of him. A good employ is difficult to find.
Edit- Brian remembered me by name after 4 or 5 months without coming to the property. Brian definitely knows what customer service is !! The new property manager is very helpful. I was having trouble finding the right size for my things. He asked me a few questions and based on what I told him was able to recommend a 10×10. Everything fit perfectly with no trouble! Definitely sending friends and family here. I went in to add my card to auto pay and Brian remembered me by face and name!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
This place is a joke. Do NOT rent a space here. I gave them 2 weeks notice that I was moving out by voicemail and email. They still charged me the following month. Since then I have emailed and spoke to someone at least 6 times with them saying the refund has been processed and still have not received it after 6 weeks of dealing with them. Now I have to dispute with my bank. So the cheesy automated response to this review will be how much they care about servicing their customers....THEY DONT.
Brandon helped me by getting me set up with a second storage unit super quickly and went above and beyond to help me. I was in a very hectic move situation and I didn't anticipate needing more space so within just a few days of my move they helped me and gave me a unit very close to my first one. Plus he left it open so the movers could put my furniture in there and even came by in person with my key. Facility. is always kept in order and clean and I feel secure about my belongings.
First time renter! Best value! Easy process! Brandon went above and beyond, to follow up and make sure all my questions were answered. He was helpful and thorough with the contract (14 pages) he highlighted the need to know. I would go with their renters insurance$10 for 2k coverage, avoid the hassle w/ your own! Their office hours differ from their gate hours 7pm , and the kiosk outside doesn’t work, they need to pull that out of the wall.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! The new management that has taken over automatically started billing me for their insurance product I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR. I haven't touched my account in months, I'm on auto-pay, and received a letter that I could sign up for their insurance if I wanted to. THEY SIGNED ME UP REGARDLESS AND BILLED ME FOR A PRODUCT I DID NOT REQUEST. If you are a current customer here I would check your bill immediately.
This place is amazing! The staff are beyond helpful and were willing to work with us when we needed it! We had an unexpected delayed move in at Knoll (right next door to here) and had to move our stuff into the storage unit temporarily. They were so kind and understanding. Also they allow you to use their free moving truck to help get all your things moved in!! Highly recommend this company!
I had things stolen out of my unit at this facility..... homeless persons occupying the place climbed over the top of units and took whatever they wanted. There ended up being only 1 cart on site... with THREE wheels only. Units leaked water into other units. My climate-controlled unit was HOT! Any complaints were met with [It's not their problem. It was the other management.]
We had the smoothest possible experience at All Store and the manager, Priscilla, was always available and super helpful and even recommended the best unit for our needs. Check in and check out was a breeze, the facility had lots of carts and other tools to help with the move in and out and they even lend you a truck! The facility is clean and our stuff was safe for months.
Tried using the kiosk and it’s useless. Fields say NA but it won’t let you use them so it stays stuck at 30%. When you try connecting to live help it just rings and rings and rings and no one is actually available. And if you call the phone number and select 1 to reserve a unit you get sent into a phone loop. Super frustrating considering it should be easy to use.
AVOID AVOID AVOID! This is the second time this piece of junk storage facility has been under new management. The prior management was a total joke. Literally never anyone in the office. Now another change of hand and still multiple break-ins, attempted theft, and super shady characters at all times of the day loitering around. AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
We have been using this unit less than a month and someone already cut the lock and broke in. It took us stopping by to get some items out to notice the lock had been cut. The office is under new management, but we did not get a call that something had happened. Extremely disappointing. They said they don’t have “access” to cameras from prior company yet.
I called and reserved a unit. The day of my move in, they said the unit reserved for me already taken. Fine, mistakes happen. What really irked me was their unwillingness to rectify their mistake. They did not to price match the price quoted to me when I reserved. Glad I learned they aren't the type of business that will take care of their clients.
Everything in my entire unit was stolen, my key didn’t work they broke the lock with a drill and it was Totally empty It was a two bedroom apartment full of everything I owned, I was away for over 5 months and I came back to nothing, I even climbed the ladder and looked in about 50 units, They really Stole all my possessions. …
I had a great experience and the best help here with Brandon and his other colleague. I was very grateful for the help and great attitude I was given. I had a bad experience at another location and I'm glad I came here to get a unit. best decision I've made. so thank y'all again for the great Service and experience.
update: Excellent service from Brian and they are able to give afterhours access now if needed. Highly recommend this spot. Friendly staff helped me get a good deal on very short term storage. facility clean and generally not too busy. only thing not ideal about this spot: the gate cannot be opened after 7pm.
Priscilla and Sean are super helpful and always attentive , been a breeze renting a unit from them . The actual unit is also very nice clean place ,temperature controlled , and great size on their 10x10 with great pricing . you also get to use a truck to move in which helps on saving renting a uhaul.
sorry to say there's A LOT of issues by management that shouldn't ever be done yet still currently employed. from numerous units getting broken into to management stealing things from auction units. secure space really needs to fix their management before being able to secure people's units
At first, I got my storage unit with this location and it was cool, but then they raised the prices. Just because you’re on Congress Avenue doesn’t mean you need to be charging a ridiculous amount of money for a storage unit. Money hungry & not helpful. Pick somewhere else. Seriously!
Safe area, clean facility, helpful staff. They found the perfect unit for us that was ideal for the situation. The location is easy to find and get to. They have carts available to help you get things in and out of storage. Also, free truck rental for moving stuff in, very convenient

No Security! My storage unit was broken into twice from February-June 2022. They stole two bikes from me costing me thousands of dollars. To make it worse the city of austin pd never gave me a police report. They will claim they are “hiring security” but believe at your own risk.
We’ve been at these storage units for a good while now and ever since securespace took over the Property Manager Brandon and the Assistant Property Manager Tahj have been nothing but accommodating throughout and have helped make our experience at this facility worth it.
This place is terrible! Highest prices in town and the worst security! Literally false advertisement because they broke into 52 storage units! It’s not safe at all! AVOID THIS PLACE ENTIRELY! New guy working there is not personable at all and rude.
