Well what can I say I was working at the airport and thought I might as well travel 5min down the road. Thinking there would be a good variety of food to my shop. There was dim Sims and potato cakes, & crab sticks which looked dry and Burnt. So I lowered myself to get one dim Sim and one crab stick as I was very hungry. As I paid and walked out the door I tried to take a bite of the crab stick. It was that hard it hurt my tooth, so I walked back in and asked them politely. Could I have my money back as the crab stick was old and burnt. The lady looked at me with discussed in her eyes like I did something wrong? I asked for my money back on the crab stick. Then she snatched the bag with the dim Sim out of my hands and said don’t worry we will give you money back for both the dim Sim and crab stick. I was totally shocked. Then she threw the crab stick in an aggressive way to the bin and told me to leave her store guys do not go here and do not support these owners/workers wonder why they have nothing cooked at 12:30 at lunchtime because no one bothers to come here any more, I wouldn’t even write this store one star. I

Beach was lovely but that's about the only thing. Ordered 2 pieces of battered blue grenadier and the thicker piece wasn't cooked at all, still cold to the touch, however the batter was heading into burnt territory. They remade the fish and both pieces were cooked but tasteless and oily. Paid $6.50 for a large bag of chips hardly worth the price. Also got a crab stick, 2 fish bites and a piece of calamari which were all just okay. Absolutely not worth the $30 we paid, at all. So disappointed as we had hoped for a nice fish feed after a lil family day to the beach. Will pack our own food next time.

I cannot even express my frustration and disappointment at this store, standing at the counter waiting because the staff are too inattentive to look out for customers, the last time I visited my food was horrible, I just walked out this time without ordering anything or attempting to speak up as it was a worthless option considering the amount of times they’ve failed to pay attention to customers. I do not recommend this store, I’ll be spending my money elsewhere.

Never bought fish and chips that I Couldn’t bite through... the fish was like a thick wet sock, water dripping out like it was just pulled out of the toilet. Chips were BROWN like someone fried them in oil as old as your grandmother than threw them into the Bain Marie for two days before frying them again In petrol. We tried to give the fish to our dog (who has eaten his own vomit before) but he refused to eat it.

Friendly people. Heaps more groceries available than we expected! We were surprised to not find a smaller container of milk for our last night in town, but dug deep and made ourselves all have chocolate to help get through it. Couldn't waste good milk!We enjoyed! …

Nice and tidy when I visited. Well stocked and easy to find what I was looking for. Very busy, but the girl who served me was happy, polite, and helpful. Prices were fairly high, but it seems the only way for such a place to pay rent and wages these days!

I’ve been to this place twice now and the cheeseburger and burger with the lot are amazing. Finally, burgers from a Bain-Marie that taste fresh and have quality ingredients, and don’t feel like you’re chewing something a week old. Decent coffee too.

Detoured there after seeing the very expensive menu board an a nearby fish and chip shop. The prices were very reasonable and the fish and chips purchased were lovely, fresh, well cooked and well proportioned. Thanks team. We will be back

Fish and chips were really bad. Burned potato cakes. Crab sticks cheap frozen junk and with chips it cost 20 dollars.over the years I try not to stop in there. Sadly today it reached a new low. Even the chicken went impressed.

There isn't much you can't get here and walking distance to Ramada. Fuel,groceries,hot food,coffee and fresh fruit & vegetables so we didn't have to drive to get anything. Friendly family business and right at tge beach.

Really poor customer service - the sign said they were open until 7pm.....I arrived at 6:46 to be told the kitchen closes at 6:45! The girl behind the counter was really rude and refused to take an order. Won’t be back

Jenny and BJ are very cheerful proprietors and were extremely friendly and helpful. Friday evening Korean style food can be enjoyed if in the area. Takeaway, fuel and general groceries are available 7 days a week.

Wow, the most expensive coffee I've bought in Tasmania. It was watery and had a burnt flavour as well. And while I was waiting the guy was more busy answering text on his phone.. give this grungy place a miss

Ok little takeaway shop has a bit of everything especially the essentials. Fast food hear is good and at a reasonable price Service is ok Good location to a really nice beach. You can also fuel up hear .

Very disappointing food, high prices, piece of chicken i received didn't even cover half of my bun quite annoyed do not recommend. And fuel price is 1.51 a litre even in this epidemic. Appalling.

A beautiful spot right near the airport. Got some time to spare pre or post flight? Grab some fish and chips and enjoy them on the beach but please remember to take your rubbish with you.

Just what we needed after a ride along the beach. Great battered fish and well stocked general store. Very grateful for the seating area and bike racks. I finally found some Blu-Tack!

Has a range of groceries etc for the emergency item or exception shopping. Take away food is limited and depending on the time of day and item selected has varying quality

Friendly staff, clean, hot food cooked to order, selection of supermarket goods. Bakery bread available daily, fast food menu, Friday night special is Thai cuisine.

Fish and chips are great, lots of stock, everything you could need and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend stopping in if you are near by!

The shop was surpring, it was a petrol, supermarket and takeaway and clean, the food and coffee was lovely and it is dog friendly, yeah.

Friendly corner store that's bigger than it looks. Great for a quick bite or grocery item if you staying near by. Right near the beach.

Someone recommend their fish and chips. I don’t. Very small fish, not the best chips, small quantities and not enough chicken salt.

The fish n chips are good but the service is disgusting if you want to wait an hour go for it they have no clue what they are doing

Great food store needs a bit of a scrub. But as I said food good, staff friendly. Hope for the clean up, if so will eat again.
