I ordered flowers for my Mother on Valentines day (today). The delivery was great. The flowers? Not so much. One lilly in the arrangement was wilting and a few leaves had black spots on them. Worth the 80$ ?? Not likely. More like 40$. Flowers on delivery should be the best the store has, and frankly if thats how the store thinks, i was better off going to kroger and making an arrangement myself. Luckily, my mother loved them and was appreciative of them. Shadeland Flower shop....do better. ****Edit**** The shop owner gave me a call a couple days later. To he honest, i was surprised. She explained the issues they were having and helped me understand their situation. Though another shop I used didnt have the same issues, i did however understand. She refunded half the price and also encouraged me to place a similar order and it would be free. That, is true customer service. This shop owner truly cares. So while my initial review wasn't a positive one, it is now since she(the owner) took the initiative to reach out.

Look I'm usually not one to give a 1 but I walk up to the door during open hours and the door is locked. There is a sign on the door that says to call. I call as I'm looking for Christmas flowers with my 82 year old grandmother. I tell the woman she abruptly says "we don't have any of that." I reply "ok maybe she can find something else she wants." Store clerk "I got robbed 3 weeks ago. I'm here alone and I'm not letting anyone in." Now let me be clear I am not downplaying anyone's potential trauma but as a business owner this was handled poorly. First if that's how you feel just keep your shop closed. If you still need to work then the sign should read "pre orders only". And I can't say standing out in the cold with my 82 year old grandmother did not make me happy as she was upset as well. I do hope healing and a safe feeling is found but also that some best business practices are enacted.

Ordered from out of town for delivery for my aunt who passed away. RECOMMENDED by family to order from. Ordered online and immediately got a call. Not the friendliest to deal with. Didn’t have most of the flowers and said you know, “ usually same day delivery cut off is at noon. It was 12:45pm. So I said, “ when can you get it there?” Lady said, “ probably today.” I said okay even though they had to change up some flowers and colors from the arrangement pictured online. Didn’t say, we can have the exact arrangement of you wait a day. Etc. No way to know if they were delivered same day, haven’t heard anything. In my opinion, based on my first experience, I’d try to find a place that treated someone almost spending $100 dollars a little better.

My friend called and stated that her family forgot to purchase flowers for her cousins funeral. I could not remember any florist at that time so, I googled. Shadeland Florist came up and I remembered my husband ordered me the most beautiful roses from there. So we ordered. I of course did not know what to do for my friend and her family. When I spoke to Jackie that was all I needed. The floral arrangement is absolutely beautiful. It’s so amazing to know that the florist felt the pain of the family and demonstrated her sympathy so well that when words cannot fully express her condolences, the flowers state a million words. We appreciate Jackie and the entire family at Shadeland Florist. I recommend them million times a million.

Called for last minute Anniversary Flowers for my wife and the lady was very helpful! She made up a special bouquet with a mix of Roses, flowers and greenery just for my order. She was kind enough to assure me the flowers would be delivered same day on time before my wife left her office and also sent me a text with a picture of the finished bouquet arrangement before they were delivered. The flowers, and roses all smelled magnificent and looked even better. My wife was very happy and surprised since I was out of town and not expected to be back in time for our special day. I would highly recommend the Shadeland Flower Shop and will definitely use them again in the future!! A** Service and Quality.

Bravo! From the call, all the way to delivery. Had a delightful conversation with an employee who took my difficult order and was able to make a beautiful bouquet of flowers and have them delivered the same day. The delivery driver was also amazing. I gave two addresses to drop flowers off and she called me to see which would work best and she went out of her way just to try the option that I thought was too late. Because of that, my wife and I were surprised, and it made it more special than a door delivery. Now that is service! Great first experience and I will continue to pick Shadeland!

I have been using this shop for years. My wife Is very sensitive to strong fragrances and they always follow the special instructions so she does not get overwhelmed with very fragrant flowers. Additionally, they always go the extra mile to meet the color scheme we are looking for. They are very courteous and accommodating with all my special requests. I have used a lot of other florists and Shadeland Florists flowers seem to be fresher and last longer than the others. Great service, great flowers for a fair price. This is my only flower shop and I highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about April and Shadeland Flower Shop. A friend recommended this florist to me and I am so happy she did. We met with April to discuss needs and get a quote about a year before our wedding. I gave her pictures of what I was looking for, but besides that was a bit vague since I do not know much about flowers. When I arrived at the venue and saw what she had set up I was amazed. The flowers, and especially my bouquet, were such focal points of our decorations. I would highly recommend this florist.

Will NEVER use this business and will advise other not to use as well. As I have ordered k line flower delivery numerous times took my daughter to to order boutonnière for prom. Door was locked during business hours. Lady who took order for my daughter’s boutonnière was incredible rude. She rushed my daughter who had never ordered a boutonnière before through the process. The wrap was not the correct color and there was not a pin included. Boutonnière was $16 and pins purchased elsewhere was $5 a little pricey for one flower.

This was the second time I’ve ordered flowers from here. The first time my arrangement was posted but had yet to arrive (change of season) so they were replaced with an equal value arrangement. This most recent order Jackie called me to let me know they didn’t have the flowers I ordered. I just told her to work her magic and she did! The arrangement was beautiful! I’m so thankful for the ability to work with customers and make things happen. Very impressed. I’m a customer for life!

I live in Florida and ordered flowers online for my in-laws to be delivered same-day in Lawrence. The florist immediately called me because they did not have sunflowers in stock, but assured me she could make something similar. Not only was an arrangement delivered that day, but it was stunning and the flowers she chose were as big and beautiful as sunflowers - my only request was that it be cheerful and hopeful and it absolutely was. I decided to not use a 3rd party vendor to order flowers for my wife (no I didn't do anything wrong, I was just showing my love for her) and it was about 9pm so I knew it would all be done automated. So from the comfort of my couch I ordered, and scheduled flowers. They showed up perfectly and I couldn't be happier, plus they (local business) got to keep all of the money.

I ordered flowers at 10am hoping to have them ready in time to surprise my wife in the afternoon, and they were able to accommodate no problem! The shop in Greenfield is so cute and the people running it are SO NICE. They were sweet to my kids and we had a wonderful time visiting the store. Oh, and the flowers were gorgeous! Prices jacked up for Hanukkah occasion flowers. I didn't want to make this statement erroneously so I went back and compared offerings for Christmas and Kwanza and Thanksgiving. I was not wrong. I used a different florist.
