"Although this shopping area features a goodwill store on the overview, we go here for the store that specializes in kids items"
"I don't know what the big deal is about this place! I brought Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and a couple tops from Hollister"
"Great little plaza"
"They have a good selection of brand name clothing for really cheap, and give a decent amount of cash for clothes (I got $15 for 9 pieces most recently)! Plus they're right next to a Goodwill, so I always just stop there afterwards to donate any clothes that they don't buy from me! The staff are pretty friendly and there are a handful of changing rooms"
"Very busy line ups and very pricey and they really rush you out the door the last 45 min that there open they want u at cash register out the door asap they let u know hurry up pay and go"
Although this shopping area features a goodwill store on the overview, we go here for the store that specializes in kids items. Once upon a child is located here and has a wonderful selection of children's clothing, outerwear, footwear, and some books and toys. There is also a nice consignment store with reasonably priced ladies wear called Plato's closet. The only drawback here is parking. The spaces are extremely narrow, to the point that you can only open either the driver's or the passenger door, not both. Also this parking lot is almost always filled to capacity.
I don't know what the big deal is about this place! I brought Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and a couple tops from Hollister. They said they were dated and low end, really!? (basic little black dress and tops) yet as I flipped through the racks I can't tell you how many ugly clothes I saw from George Walmart, Superstore and other cheap brands. No offence to the mentioned stores, I also have their clothing. I guess that's what happens when you have teenagers running a store. I'll donate my dated Hilfiger to the kidney foundation. Not going back.
Great little plaza. The Good Will store has amazing deals, I got the shoes in the pic for $5. A new giant consignment store has also opened up. The consignment store has great sales and a ton of nice stuff but, it takes a while to go through it. It could be better organized. After all that shopping you might be hungry. Matador pizza has great food and friendly staff. You can sit on the large restaurant side or in the little pub which also offers great food, friendly service and a few VLTs.
They have a good selection of brand name clothing for really cheap, and give a decent amount of cash for clothes (I got $15 for 9 pieces most recently)! Plus they're right next to a Goodwill, so I always just stop there afterwards to donate any clothes that they don't buy from me! The staff are pretty friendly and there are a handful of changing rooms. They also have cool stickers. Also, I love their no-plastic initiative! You have to bring your own reusable bags or buy one of theirs.
Very busy line ups and very pricey and they really rush you out the door the last 45 min that there open they want u at cash register out the door asap they let u know hurry up pay and go...rush rush I'm not a fan of shopping like that my big review and lengthy worth reading will be bed bath n beyond I'm just appalled by there work ethic at that store keep u posted
Planet organic is a good place for groceries, other than that there is a cafe, wine store, bank, UPS, nail salon, couple of clothing stores, and few food places such as Matador for steak & pizza, Peking garden for Chinese food, a thai place...Subway and seven-eleven are nearby, so can get all basic necessities but nothing fancy.
Decent selection. Most of the store caters to women. The men's section is a little smaller. If you go at the right time then you can get some amazing deals like 90% off! But make sure you try on the clothes first. Quite a few times the shirt might say large but it has been shrunk to a small.
This is a great local strip mall. It has some awesome stores (second hand kids stuff, organic grocery) and some average places (Goodwill). Parking is sufficient, especially if you're willing to park on the middle of the lot, yet spots can be a bit tight for larger vehicles.
We go here fairly often. There is a CIBC bank, Value Village and two other used clothing consignment places, one for childrens clothing (excellent place) plus pet food store, realty office, a couple of good restaurants and much more. It's a great little shopping centre.
I want to like this place since my dentist and a convenient pet shop is here, but they have the most garbage and frustratingly stupid bike rack I've ever had the displeasure of sighing at. I don't know how someone hasn't walked off with it. Cramped ramps and parking.
good quality products. Can try out before buy (many other changing room is closed under COVID-19). It would be perfect if the notice/instructions posted clearly to let customers know how's this shop works or the staff can offer some kind of help for customers.
Small center with a few good stores. Limited parking and a bit difficult to enter and exit due to the small roads and limited entrances. It is beside a busy road thus there is often traffic all around it contributing to the difficulty entering and exiting.
Come for Platos Closet, Goodwill and Once Upon a Child. Occassionaly the soccer store and pizza place. Access is a bit of a pain and parking is tight cause people can't park in narrow stalls. Yoga studio patrons rush in and out sometimes too quickly.
There are some decent stores but the parking stalls are incredibly narrow and as a result (even if everyone parked perfectly -LOL) you still have to squeeze out of your car, this is not a place to have to unload a bucket carseat after parking.
It's a cozy little community one stop shopping experience. Once upon a Baby, Natural Foods store, Goodwill, Dry Cleaning, a Wine store and a number of small restaurants as well. There's also a great Sports equipment store with quality used
This location has become a favorite of ours- staff are always so friendly and helpful. Store is kept clean and tidy, and there is always new items being rotated in so there are always fantastic treasures to be found!
Stopped at Fresh Blend and i loved it. very homey style cafe that offers Asian dishes and bubble tea along side their coffee menu. A quiet place that would be great for meetings friends to catch-up, study, or read.
Normally Matadors is really good but today wasn't one of those days. Service was really slow, food was warm and over cooked... even had to send the coffee back for a heat up. Hopefully next time it'll be better.
Best thrift store in the area. Lovely displays, neat and organized. Great selection of quality clothing and books, household items and more. Watch for the weekly colour savings to cut prices in half!
Good place to pick up kids clothes especially for going back to school and if you're on a budget and have more than one child you know how fast they grow out of clothes why pay full price
Mall is pretty dead. But they have a couple odd shops that are helpful. The printshop is almost a relic for a time gone by. They are the only place I use often for professional reasons.
Some fun stores here. I like the grocery store and the pet store. The restrants are average. My biggest critcism: The paking is way to tight for my liking and i drive a small car.
Try Matador Pizza for dinner and you will have nice food and drink. And try Paramount Veterinary Hospital, which really is open 24/7. Both shops are excellent at their profession
I would give five stars but the service is painfully slow... Every... Time. It's like the longer the line, the slower they process transactions. And no shortage of staff either.
A small shopping centre, with second-hand clothes, a couple of places to eat, and other shops. 3 stars seem to be just fine: it's okay, there's some stuff, but not too much.
Definitely my favorite thrift store. It's clean, organized and always has interesting items for sale. Always feels like you're on a treasure hunt when you go to Goodwill.
They had something in hold from early morning and it was already 3pm and they wouldn't sell it to me. Kind of a stupid rule to hold a $10 item till close of day. Oh well
Best place to buy good quality furniture if you are low on cash they have good quality and well maintained furniture and other stuff as well, do check them out
Love Valiant, especially the Goodwill and Once Upon a Child and health food store! Easily accessible by transit, this is our go-to grocery and thrift stop.
We t with my daughter and grandson to once upon child store. I wish we would have had a store like this when our kids were little. What an awesome store.
Loved the selection though mostly is clothes very little furniture items which is why I went but I found I perfect stool for a steal of a deal for $9.50
It's a shopping center. They have a couple of places I like... Not sure why it popped up, but I have no complaints, and have always found parking
I started working there on Tuesday and wasn't properly Trained on the Position they gave me I wouldn't recommend it to anyone applying for a Job!
It's old and beat, but the stores are handy and the staff is generally quite friendly. If you live in the neighborhood you will be going here.
The food was very good but it seemed to take a long time to get it considering that when we ordered we were the only people in the restaurant.
We go to Matador Steak & Pizza almost every Monday night for their lasagna special. It's delicious and the waitresses are very friendly.
The mall is decent, but my experience was poor due to a lack of snowploughing. Everyone was sliding around in the parking lot!
Decent mall with a lot to see and experience; ) Parking is a bit challenging with small stalls and busy access during the day.
As owner of A Laptop Shoppe in Calgary, Matador pizza went above and beyond , the service was fabulous , the food was superb.
I would give it a 5, as they have a great Moxie's Grill and SportChek. Do not like the cameras in the direction boards.
This is a nice little spot if you want to sell/donate or buy second hand clothing. There is also some good food here.
Not much available for shoppers. Basically a service oriented area. Purolator, RBC Royal Bank, etc here. Quiet place
This has a decent selection of goods for good will. Good location, and a clean store. Overall was a good experience
Sometimes you can find some really good deals. I found a few different designer tops. Check often stock changes
Ben to Plato's closet in Hamilton Ontario the prices are outrageous compared from there to here I'm just saying
Medium size plaza with supermarket, stores, goodwill among other stores, enough parking spots and quiet place.
Lots of selection, great bargains for clothes but more staff is definitely needed especially on the weekends
Very nice. Not a large number of stores (it's a small strip mall). Coffee shop (Fresh Blends) is very nice.
Getting out of the parking lot can be tricky during the winter but easy to get to and lots of shops
It's one of the best shopping centres with a good atmosphere and polite staff and fair prices.
3 different second hand stores in one parking lot ! Also a very very good coffee shop :)
Never too busy, convenient location and has many small shops. Quick trips are easy here.
Plato's closet hours are so accommodating unlike the other discount store located there.
Dissappointed that Dollar store is gone. Tough parking in front. Many small businesses.
The restaurant has a nice paint night every last Monday of the month. Matador Pizza
Workers are friendly and willing to direct you around the store to get all you need
Parking spaces are a little small even for a small car. It becomes crowded fast.
Like other goodwill stores this store is also well laid out and have good stuff
Excellent customer service. Fairly priced items. Tag sales are always great.
Great selection of stores. Especially if you are looking for alternate finds
Fabulous!! Staff amazing. If you have questions, they will find the answers.
A good place for purchasing almost anything you'll need short of groceries.
Went to Goodwill and was so impressed with how clean and organized it was.
Good shops but terrible parking! The stalls are much too close together.
Oil change, tire swap and no problems. My truck was returned on time.
Yes! Priced well, organized and the people that work there are great!
Just walking around and decided to take a look around, lots of stuff.
Mostly clothes. Seems that's what all the Thrift Stores focus on.
Best place to buy used toys and kids wears, very good pricing.
Friendly staff, very organized and lots of hidden treasures!
Its a nice experience a very big mall with very good prices
It's a shopping centre, it has a little bit of everything.
The parking here is not good. The spots are very narrow.
Affordable and many items to pick from.. not soo busy..
Terrible parking, good stores, poorly designed mall
Good selection but way over priced on video games.
We got a good deal on football (soccer) gear!
Clean and convenient! A few really neat shops
I like these guys nice property management
Our lunch spot for Northern Chinese food.
Bit expensive but has lots of variety
Good location to drop off items.
Good place for ordinary people
Tons of selections; nice mall.
Good place to grab quick items
Good stores. Parking problems
Good place to donate clothes
Great deals. Clean and tidy
Parking is very narrow.
It's a great mall
