Just got the snottiest, rudest and unhelpful person at the Canada Post section. I never write reviews but holy cow I have to write this one. The first lady I got was lovely, understanding. I left the line when she couldn’t help me find a lost package and said to get more info. When I returned with my email, she spoke to me in line and then assured me the person taking over would help me. She could not have been more wrong. She blatantly refused to even attempt. She acted like I was the sore on her life for even asking her to check anything or to answer any questions, that it was the bane of her life to speak to me. I just wanted some compassion after my package has disappeared thanks to a careless delivery person dropped off something of mine without leaving a paper slip, any help, hell, even a help number. She just said ‘call the 1800’ number and ignored me. What an absolutely miserable human being. No wonder this shoppers has a terrible rating already. What a joke.

So disappointed in the treatment I received in the beauty boutique here. I bought a perfume the day before and tried to return it the next day as the perfume did not smell like the tester. I know perfumes have different batches and sometimes this happens. It took about 6 "mean girls" staff to tell me no and shake their heads in a rude way. I explained the issue and they offered no solution. I only hoped for a store credit which I would have bought something else anyway. So if Shoppers Drug Mart Market Mall wants to hire "mean girls" in their beauty boutique I will not shop there again. We have Sephora and The Bay who kindly accept returns and don't treat you like trash. I also want to add that this is what Shoppers Drug Mart shows on its website, "At Shoppers Drug Mart, we strive to provide 100% customer satisfaction", I was 0% satisfied.

I've never felt so disrespected by two young employees (young man and a woman with head cover) who thinks they know it all and can boss customers around. Management should really monitor the attitude of their employees at the cashier. I wanted to pay the similac powdered milk with the check specifically from similac company that I've never had problem using it at other shoppers, Walmart, superstore retailers that carry this product and as I was trying to explain the cheque they didn't offer help at all or apologies didn't even read the instructions or ask someone how to process as cash instead they rolled their eyes and talked back being sarcastic, smirking with grin smiles and said "we just don't accept cheque and we never did!" I don't mind paying out of my pocket but the attitude gets into my nerves! Lazy people.

I was racially profiled in this store in the fragrance section. Janice asked if I needed help, I said no. As I’m walking around smelling perfume I started to notice that she was looking over her shoulder at me and turning her body in each direction I went. So I purposely kept moving around the store to confirm if she was watching me and she kept doing the same thing!! I asked to speak to the manager, Sylvie never took this serious at all - she said that they were having a lot of theft lately and she was “just doing her job” and said that she would “talk to her.” Talk to her about what? You confirmed she was doing what you asked her to do so what?

No matter what time I call the woman who answers the phone will automatically put me on hold, doesn't even ask politely or anything. It's the same woman I saw working when I went in person one day who was doing the same thing to callers but she wasn't even busy or on another call! Normally a call takes 20 seconds. I am glad I'm not the only one who notices this as a friend of mine has the same problem! Being placed on hold for 10 minutes for a 20 second call doesn't stand well with me and I will be transferring my business to the Co-op pharmacy that is the same distance away.

Went shopping for retinol and the associate was extremely helpful (I don't remember her name, but she was younger and just had finished cosmetology school). She walked me through the skincare routine incorporating the product I was buying and did not mind going over certain details again when I needed things to be repeated. She also answered other questions I had and recommended other products. I was extremely impressed overall.

This Shoppers Drug Mart inside Market Mall has a nicer beauty area. They carry more higher end products than the typical Shoppers Drug Mart. Because it is in a mall, I have found the store always busy. Shelves are always full and staff are always around. One drawback is that the post office is also very busy and I tend to avoid this particular one when I can.
