Uitbuiters! Huur niets bij Sixt, of ben bereid 'gen**id' te worden... Na het huren van een vrachtbus, inspectie alles OK, reed ik langs het eerste stoplicht (20m van vertrek) en zag een barst boven-in de voorruit. Die was onze inspectie ontgaan. Prima, meld ik wel. Even later, helaas, wiebelde de bus in een woonerfje ongelukkig tegen een paaltje. Achterlicht kap stuk (kwam ik later achter). Bij inlevering nagevraagd, gemaild naar de 'damage' afdeling, open kaart gespeeld...NOOIT een *inhoudelijke* reactie gehad. Überhaupt geen reactie tot de aanmaning die niets eens naar mij maar niet betrokke stichting is gestuurd...! In de tussentijd, na mijn eerste schade meld mail, service en de winkel gebeld; "nee dat komt goed! meneer" Schadeafdeling handelt dit af. Weer 2 weken geen reactie. Nog eens gemaild. Nog eens. 2 weken later... Toen een mail! Aanmaning. En ook bij de stichting. Nogmaals gemaild. Weer week later, vandaag mijn laatste mail...of ze even tot bezinning willen komen en UBERHAUPT communiceren hierover. *update 230804 sinds Mei nu eindelijk iemand van de winkel die me probeert te helpen! het komt misschien toch nog goed. alvast van 1 naar 2 sterren, met dank aan haar.

Just be aware of these fraudsters! - the car was given very dirty, although we accepted without any complaint - totally opposite from a good practice, the fuel tank was not full - the person who gave us a car claimed a problem telling us to bring the car back with similar level of the fuel, "and it will be enough" - we never got any information regarding a type of a fuel, nor did we find it anywhere in the car. Once we stopped to refill the tank, we rather decided not to refill the fuel, but to send an email asking to charge our credit card just to avoid any potential damage on the car, and additional stress for us - VERY IMPORTANT: starting calculation stated of the mileage taken just before we got the car was totally wrong comparing it with received final invoice (the difference is impressive, 13.923 - 13.641 = 282 kilometers was calculated against us, actually to our detriment). All in all, the company literally robbed us charging additional 150 EUR from our credit card, although the reasonable amount was just 30 EUR.

De serviceagent krijgt van mij 5 sterren voor zijn inzet en vriendelijkheid, echter het bedrijf Sixt krijgt van mij 0 sterren: wat een ongelofelijke waardeloze organisatie. Alle protocollen om een auto te huren zijn veel te ingewikkeld en tijdrovend. Vorige keer 3 maanden moeten wachten op terugstorten borg. Nu moet ik opnieuw allerlei gegevens invullen online achteraf, wat niet lukt waardoor we waarschijnlijk weer lang op onze centen moeten wachten. Telefonisch contact gaat via een klaten service of buitenland (Berlijn). Je krijgt nooit iemand te spreken van de vestiging waar je huurt. Bij het oplhaen van de huurauto, was deze zo vies dat opnemen van eventuele schade vooraf niet mogelijk was. (de buitenzijde bus was te vies om schade te kunnen waarnemen). Binnenkant was zo smerig; kreeg de indruk dat deze de vorige keer was meegegeven aan een stucadoor..... Reactie van de medewerker: "we mogen de auto's nietelke keer wassen van onze leidinggevende" in één woord: een prut-organisatie!

I rented a truck (IVECO) on 4th of June 2021, at Vestdijk 135, 5611 CB Eindhoven. I took the truck and got home. Next day in the morning when I opened the loading area, I was shocked. There are 4 cage loads with clothes in it!! There are also 4 sacks which I believe is also filled with clothes. I took them out and put them into my garden. After I finished m work, I put them back in the truck. In total it costed me 1.5 hours Besides the truck was not cleaned. Someone smoked in the truck before I rent it. He/she left the lighter at the dashboard. On the floor there was an ice cream package. Nobody cleaned the truck before delivering me. Staff were nice and helpful during the rental process, but quality of the product and preparation were disappointment.

we couldn't rent a car at the airport due to the lack of cars, so we went to the SIXT branch in the city. Us maintenance worker named Roy. We had a non-standard situation - we did not have a credit card, only a debit card, and this is a problem since payment is possible only by credit card, cash payment is also impossible. Roy found a way out and gave us a car at a discount. In addition, we wanted to return the car at the airport and again they met us halfway. We were offered coffee and told where to leave the car, where the key box is located. We don't speak English well, but Roy was able to explain everything to us!! Thank you!

We have rented a vehicle that had previous unregistered damage and then we are dragged through this damage process for which we are not responsible. On top of that, we need to be spammed to immediately reply and fill in reports while still traveling. This is really annoying and the fault is fully on your side. This is the most unprofessional behavior from a car rental company and we will never again use your services. We are completely dissatisfied with this fraudulent claim and we now realize that if we didn't film the handover we would have been liable for damage that we didn't do.

I've had great experiences here with renting... The last time I rented a car in Eindhoven was more than 2 years ago with AutoOne. It was a HORRIBLE experience. So horrible, I bought my own car. I've rented with Sixt now twice in the last month and they have restored my faith in customer service in The Netherlands... And that is a VERY large statement (customer service, being polite and or friendly is uncommon)! So obviously I highly recommend Sixt and particularly the Eindhoven Center location. Thanks so much for an easy renting experience!

They rented my car to another customer as I was not there to pick it up in the "given" time slot (time slot about which I was not informed), I paid the full renting amount for the car when I made the reservation, but they still gave the car away. Minutes before my vacation, I was "lucky" (as per the remark of the front officer) that they had another car available, but for which I paid extra, without any discount. Thank you Sixt for the pleasure of working with you. I will never return.

Onthutsend slechte service. Na het terugbrengen van het gehuurde busje op dezelfde dag werd opeens een ander inlevermoment verzonnen en 2 dagen aan kosten in rekening gebracht. Daarna weken moeten wachten en vele mails moeten versturen om de borg terug te krijgen. In de ontvangen mails werd ik ook steeds met de naam van iemand anders aangesproken. Eerste en meteen laatste keer dat ik iets gehuurd heb bij Sixt.

GA HIER NOOIT HUREN!!! Deze mensen bedriegen je waar je zelf bij staat. Het lijkt allemaal heel voordelig en goedkoop en dat is ook zo tot je, je gehuurde voertuig terug brengt en dan proberen ze je voor duizenden euro's op te lichten door je schades aan te rekenen en schadeclaims van duizenden euro's te sturen voor schades die al bekend waren bij het ophalen van de bus. GA HIER NOOIT HUREN!!!

Do not rent here. The worst service, They didn’t send my deposit 2 months. We called them 6-7 times but didn’t send my money back. We sent them emails, called them a lot of times, but they didn’t send 300€ of deposit back. They can’t organize anything, and they just asked us to send email. So awful company, and awful service. Just and advice from me, don’t rent here they are cheaters.

Car was not checked and really dangerous; breaks were gone, right tyre had no profile and sensor didn't even recognize right wheel, heating was stuck when it was 2 degrees celcius (button felt down when i turned it). I was told the manager in eindhoven would contact me for compensation/apologize but he/she never bothered. Never been this disappointed by a car rental service.

I have reserved more than 1 month ago and also check at the sixt office 1 week before renting day. There were no problems. But on renting day they give me smaller car with full price. My moving took more than 12 hours because of you. I couldn't fit any furnitures without dissambling them. The worst renting experience I had. You have to learn what a reservaton is.

Er wordt een extra dag + telaat boete in rekening gebracht omdat er te weinig personeel is... de reden de bus wordt op een zondag pas de volgende dag ingeboekt en de klant mag het betalen. Te bizar voor woorden. Na vriendelijk te woord gestaan zou het probleem worden opgelost en de factuur gecorrigeerd worden. Ruim een week later nog niks...

Terrible service bordering on fraud. As many other reviews mention, upon arrival, we had to pay an extra €200 due to their lack of information on the website. They claim to provide options but clearly take advantage of the fact that you won't refuse, ruining the entire trip. I do not recommend it, and we will not repeat the experience.

Superslecht: auto was er niet, alternatief kon alleen per creditcard betaald worden die ik niet heb, weer een ander alternatief: alle 3 de pindingen deden het niet. Slecht in het kwadraat. Snel naar een Mywheels auto en zat 5 min later op de grote weg. Sixt Vestdijk Eindhoven was dat : bagger

Helaas is sixt schijnbaar geen internationaal bedrijf. In Ierland problemen gehad, auto online vooraf betaald, maar wegens probleem met credit card mocht ik hem toch niet meenemen. Nu kan ik alleen in Ierland een tegoed bon krijgen, terwijl ik al lang weer terug ben van vakantie.

I rent a car from here one time. A deposit for 300 euros also needed, and it took 2 days for them to pay it back. Renting a car for one day costs me 92 euros which i believe is a little expensive comparing to other companies. Generally speaking, it was a normal experience!

Really bad experience. Not only was their policy offensive with Latin America’s countries, but also they allowed us to book the car just to reject us in the day we supposed to take the car. Risking the whole weekend with the reserved hotels and different activities.

We delivered the car at the right time and personally delivering the keys in the store. Still it was registered the car was delivered later and one additional day was charged in my credit card without any kind of e-mail or notice. I'm still trying to get it right.

Great experience so far! I have used their service for many years and they are the most cost effective company I found. If you need a van in Eindhoven I suggest to book it 1 or 2 weeks in advance or you can easily get troubles to get it.

Geen goede keuze voor de verhuizing. Je kan je eigen auto nergens kwijt, komt overal in de file vanwege de locatie, en er worden je ter plekke 7 extra kostenposten aangepraat. Doen we niet meer dus :)
