It was a fun and interesting place to walk around. There's plenty to see. Some of the animals were awake but it was still fun to watch those that were asleep. They had a section dedicated to non-living insects and bugs. It was cool to see where they lived and I'm totally relieved that the big ones don't live here! The gereatric bats were cool. They slept together in clusters and a few of them fell into the makeshift hammocks. Have fun!

Nothing has changed in this enclosure with these poor animals in 15 years, the single monkey in the cage tried to cover up with a piece of cardboard, it was heart breaking

Fun to see the animals at the zoo. They need to put in many many more benches both in buildings and out. Grandparents taking kids need to rest a bit.

The Hogle Zoo is great! I've been visiting the Hogle Zoo since I was a child. There is always something fun to see and discover.

We went to Hogle Zoo and went around the zoo and saw the different animals they had and we also watched the show the zoo had with some of their animals. It was good.

8 loves all the animals and all the fun facts it had to offer. They take care of the animals well and the only thing was a minor issue was the smell. But duh - you are around animals !

You can see a lot of cute animals while at the same time seeing the reptiles and it is fun. Sometimes you see their lunch though.

Went to the zoo for big cats and chocolate day!! It was fun and interesting. Big cats were active and fun!!

Tons of super awesome snakes and alligators. Beautiful birds and adorable cats and reptiles.

Lots of small animals.. My sons' favorite was the "ki ki" some small cat lol

Those indoor animal galleries are fabulous, specially in June and July.
