I don't often write reviews but I feel like this was very important to write so that everyone thinks twice before booking a haircut at this so-called 4.8 reviewed hair salon Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the lady that humiliated and embarrassed me and my four-year-old girl but was absolutely rude aggressive from the beginning to the end Just showed so much aggressiveness towards a 4-year-old girl who was traumatised of getting her hair washed as some kids do and needs to know how to speak to children when they come to to get a haircut. Treating adult customers is just as important as treating younger customers, my child has not had a haircut since she was a two-year-old girl and this was a very big exciting deal for her and it was very upsetting to say the least of how the experience was just not on! Was left absolutely embarrassed in front of all the other customers that were there getting their nails done and decided to leave me and my child with wet hair and refused to finish the job. Kept claiming to have 15 years experience of cutting hair think she needs to get 15 years experience on how to treat customers with respect. I told her i spoke to someone about my girl's hair and what I wanted, instantly the conversation was interrupted by her rudely saying "what relevance is this?? You're here now right" I gave her the benefit of the doubt and continued for her service but I wish I had just left there and then. She accused my daughter of lying about getting water in her eyes, which she wasn't lying about, she didn't even say it's in her eyes, she was just crying and scared? Rather being sympathetic she kept hushing her and telling her to look up. I then had to comfort her as I could see she was not being friendly at all. Even showing her pictures of what I wanted she kept saying this is fake it's not real?? Not sure why hairdressers do this, we are coming to you for your service we are paying you? How about work around it, rather than shutting it off completely. We are not all born yesterday, you don't need to teach us that Instagram is fake and pictured are edited, speak with some bloody manners and decorum, your in a public service industry, learn to serve! This is why I stick to my hairdressers but unfortunately they were fully booked so thought I would give a new one a go, but looks like I'll stick with my original people!

I visited quite a few saloons before I came here, and all were negative experiences because they either didnt cut properly or the blow dry was flat and frizzy, but mainly because the colour service was always off. I always left with orange hair, not to talk about how pricey the services were. I got tired of visiting different expensive saloons and getting disappointed each time, so I decided to give this saloon a go and I do not regret it at all! Sim has knowledge about hair and her prices are very reasonable. I went in with brown/orangey roots and she did a full head of highlights which turned out a very nice and even ashy blonde after the toner. Im going to come back for a re-touch once i have more regrowth, and will keep coming back here. Her blow dry is nice too, bouncy and smooth! As a plus, she listens and explains and doesn't make you feel inferior like most hair dressers. She also allowed me to bring my little olaplex shot and she put it in the bleach without hesitation. She is also attentive, I actually had a bad day and wasn't in the mood to talk too much, she was not forcing conversation, only spoke to me when she had something to say or ask and there was no akward moment. She is lovely. The saloon is not too busy which I like as it's airy and have a nice playlist of songs goin on! Very good experience, and I am a very picky customer when it comes to beauty services, I recommend her !!!

Before I went to Smyle, for me going to the hairdressers was like some people's fear of going to the dentist. I dreaded it. However, that has changed all thanks to Chloe at Smyle. Seven weeks ago I walked into Smyle without an appointment and they were able to fit me in. I had just below shoulder length hair and wanted it all cut off. Chloe was great she took time to go through the pros and cons and she really made me feel at ease. I actually had a really short hair cut done. The style was just what I wanted. The cut was great and she made that much of an impression I made an appointment for last Saturday and had a trim. That has never been heard of for me before now. Usually I would go 9 months to a year before getting up the courage to make an appointment. Thanks to Chloe and all the staff at Smyle I no longer dread going to the hairdressers. I cannot praise their service and friendliness enough.

I was quite nervous before coming along for my cut and blow dry, as I had a hairdresser cut all of my long hair off previously - it took me a good year to grow it back out. However, Sim immediately put my mind at rest and I felt I was in good hands straight away. Sim was very attentive and made sure I was happy with what she was doing and how much she was cutting off the whole time. The cut is amazing and the blow dry she did was so lovely. I am so happy with my hair and I am so glad I found this place! I am pleased to say that I have now found a new hairdresser. Thank you Sim for a lovely hair cut

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to share the amazing experiences I had ever since I’ve been going to Smyle! Sim is an angel ♥️ I had such a bad hair experience in Canada and it was my first time getting my hair dyed. My friend recommended me this place and I was literally so impressed and happy with the Sim’s customer service. She made me feel so at ease, she is such a good listener and she made sure that I was happy with my new hair colour. You won’t regret getting your hair done there ! So much of love for you Sim and thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️

My sister booked an appointment for me on 19th December. I went along expecting a good quality haircut. I’m losing my hair due to cancer treatment so wanted it cut short like a pixie style. It felt like my hair was just hacked at. When I got home I had long strands at the back of my head, my sister had to trim them off.The lady even left me 4 times to deal with gift vouchers and other customers. I’m not happy with the cut. Am now having to book with a professional hairdresser to get it shaped properly.Will not be going there again.

I’m so glad I walked in to Smyle couple of months ago! Been coming here since. I love the atmosphere and the ladies are very friendly and kind. Kat did my eyelash lift, she is professional and her work is amazing, quick and gentle with waxing too. Did my first wax with Lorena couple of months ago, she is so friendly and reassured me seeing me nervous as it was my first time.

Sim is fantastic!!! She completely transformed my hair even though it was not an easy job. She has by far exceeded my expectations! As always, an amazing time at Smyle with Hilda this time who did a brilliant job at getting my hair to the blonde I wanted and finished with a lovely blow dry. She is great to talk to, so experienced and just all round wonderful. I felt really listened to and comfortable. Really nice salon too. Will definitely be back!

Simge was amazing, she is so attentive and honestly has an eye for detail. I’m extremely happy with the outcome of my balayage. There is no competition, the service is outstanding, so quick and exactly what you ask for. You’ve earned a loyal customer because I would not go anywhere else now I’ve been here!

Today was my first (definitely not my last) time going to get a hair cut by Sim. I showed Sim a picture of what I would like my cut to look like & it she did a better job than I could have ever expected. Seriously she exceeded my expectations. Went in for a dye, wash and trim. The service was exceptional. Was very gentle and made me feel comfortable. I was provided service my Sim. She was very friendly and listened to what I wanted. Went to this salon for the first time today after a disastrous haircut at a different hairdressers. Geri was great and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, managing to make it look so much better. Staff were all friendly and welcoming and I will definitely go back.

I specifically booked a waxing treatment at this place based purely on the great reviews I had read. The reviews did not lie, the salon is clean and welcoming and Kat was fantastic. A real professional; great service all round. Will most definitely be returning!

Sim is a very good hair dresser. She gave me a whole complete look love how the hair colour came out. Very polite and took her time to do my hair. Very recommended if you want to get your hair this place is the best. Environment is so friendly and clean

Noticed this salon while passing so thought I would give it a try. Booked in for a Wax with Kat. Kat was extremely welcoming, friendly and professional. Very quick wax with least amount of discomfort. Highly recommend. Salon was clean and tidy.

Started going to Smyle about 18 months ago, Kat is brilliant and is always so accommodating. Waxes are the best I’ve had (super quick and pain free!) and my brows and lashes have always been brilliant. Would definitely recommend :)

I got my hair and eyebrows done from Smyle about a month ago. Both Heilda the hair dresser and I didn't catch the other ladies name were both very welcoming and did an amazing job.. I will defo be returning soon!

I went in for a colour and cut. Hildur listened to what I wanted, was very patient and took the time and attention on my hair. I would highly recommend Hildur and will definitely be back again. She was brilliant

Always get my brows threaded here, Kat is great, quick and painless! I also had a hair cut recently, it was just as good as going to a salon. Prices are affordable and the ladies here are all super friendly
