We were walking by when an elderly gentleman sitting at the patio recommended this place. He said the marinara is to die for. And.... He was right! The food is amazing. The fettuccine checa sauce was so flavourful. We ordered the India st. Pizza along with that. Both were lovely! Highly recommend this place! More
Had the four cheese penne pasta, margarita pizza, pepperoni pizza, lobster ravioli, and some goodies from the bakery. Everyone enjoyed their food if we can make it back will get the pizza! In little Italy San Diego. Beautiful area with nice outdoor and indoor seating area. Lots of amazing options in the bakery.
Got the puttanesca pizza to go. It could've stood to be left in the oven for maybe 2 minutes longer. No char on the crust so it ended up soggy in the middle from all the toppings. The good part was that they were generous with their toppings. The traditional Italian cookies were good too. Not too sweet. More
I’ve ordered a pizza with prosciutto and mushrooms. Unfortunately the bottom of it was totally burnt. We have sent it back. They have sent a new one after, but again it was burnt. Also the basil was burnt, which is funny because you are supposed to put that on after baking the pizza. Anyways 0/10. More
First time coming. We were welcomed in nicely. Ordered an appetizer. The calamari was ehh, tasted old with a bad aftertaste. We waited over 30-40 minutes for our server to come back. No apology for the delay. No customer service at all. I would never come back. Ruined my appetite and mood. Boo. More
Stopped in for a mid-afternoon pick me up with two friends. My cafe au lait was perfect and I had the best amaretto almond cookie ever. Friendly barista and welcoming host at the door. Indoor and outdoor seating available as well as a full lunch and dinner menu. More
Bakeries are good but pasta was okay. We got gnocchi and pink sauce pasta. I expected soft and smooth texture but gnocchi was more heavy and chewy. We tried gelato but was okay. They have good cannoli. I don’t think I will come again. Service was great. More
I ordered online for pickup and paid via the app. When I arrived and gave the cashier my name, she read the price to ask for payment. It's wild to me that she was ready to have me pay twice. When I told her I had already paid, she just said
I wouldn't have tried this restaurant if it wasn't the owner (I think so) who posed as a "regular customer" singing praises of how good this restaurant is. Yes, the food was good, I like the pasta, and also the crispy calamari. The overall
I went to this restaurant last Sunday. I ordered one Risotto Mare. At first it is smelly, I think it is because there are some cheese inside. But now I realize that it seems no cheese inside. After eating half, I pick one mussel and it is
It was very busy but they push you out as fast as they can. We seen a server 3 times in 90 min. Drinks were not refilled or even offered. Once you order you didn’t see anyone ever come back. Dinner was partially cooked and we mentioned it
The food was good. They are definitely under staffed but our server was very sweet. The pizza was solid. The lasagna good but maybe a bit saucy. The seafood pasta dish was very good. Calamari very good. The seafood was super fresh. More
Michelangelo Is a great pizza artisan and a kind person. The menu respects totally the Italian tradition from the pasta to the bread, from the starters tò the pasta. Excellent pizza, great bruschetta, the typical italian cordiality and
Ok so this was our first time to “little Italy” so just WOW! All the restaurants are so adorable looking. We chose to eat outside near the sidewalk to allow for an outdoor dining experience. That was a perfect choice! They had heaters
The food and drink I ordered was delicious! I ordered the prosciutto and burrata for appetizer. My entree was fettuccine piemontesi and a pomegranate mojito drink (can’t remember the name). The entire staff was very polite and I had
Had a wonderful dinner. Ths water and warm bread with a very flavorful tomatoe based dipping sauce arrived as soon as we sat down. Appetizer was pizza dough that was rolled with prosciutto and shaved parmesan,
We loved the atmosphere and our happy hour drinks with the generous food portions. The staff was extremely welcoming and it was our first time in Little Italy since the pandemic began.
Late Post Oct 23’ Probably would have never walked in the spot because personally, I do like planning what restaurants to visit prior, mostly reading reviews and checking out
Great place. Their margarita pizza is amazing. It’s a true margarita pizza. The service is great. Some of my favorite pizza in San Diego. More
Bakery review only. We didn’t dine at the restaurant. Excellent cannolis. Crisp pastry. Perfect filling. One of the best I’ve ever eaten. More
