I’m leaving this review almost 7 months after purchasing my second vehicle from this car dealership (in May 2020) to allow myself to better understand the quality of my Astra wagon... and I can happily say I’m glad I made the trek from Bentleigh to purchase the car! This is my second vehicle from this dealer (bought my first car from them in April 2020 but unfortunately was involved in an accident a few days later, no fault of the car) and needless to say I’m very impressed with how the car has handled the past 7 months. A few issues from time to time but nothing major, after all the car is 11 years old so it is expected. Adam was friendly and made me feel welcome. Given it was during the “first wave” lockdown, it was reassuring that I could trust these guys through all the uncertainty at that time. And trust in the used car industry is hard to come by!! I don’t usually leave reviews but I am so happy with my car that I had to recommended this place. Thank you Adam and team, I’ll make sure to see you guys first should I need a new car in the future. THIS MECHANIC SAVED MY CAR! Thank you SO MUCH South East Motors Ferntreegully, Alex and Jamie in the Mechanic shop are AWESOME mechanics, so friendly, so fast, so professional! My car is running like its BRAND NEW, better than when i bought it from South Eastern Motors Dandenong. Sorry, I meant this msg, but am talking about South East Motors in Dandenong where i purchased my car from and they scammed me by selling me a lemon and then saying they fixed it when they didnt, they just siliconed the part. I apologize for any confusion, if it wasnt for South East FTG my car wouldnt be running at all. Heres my original review, just know im talking about SOUTH EAST MOTORS DANDENONG. "The worst scammiest car yard ive ever known.. they sold me a car then needed fixing but just siliconed the part that needed changing then told me it cost him 2800 to fix it when he only siliconed the part that was meant2 be replaced.. . DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS CAR YARD.."

extremally rude, went it to have a look at a car i thought would be good, it was in terrible condition, dodgy wiring and didn't have what was clamed on online ads. at least he open the car but didn't approach us to help or even make eye contact. I had to call out to get his attention "twice" while he was busy washing a car for good publicity. not good. then later on we asked if a test drive was available now or is it something that has to be booked. he completely shut that down, and didn't us to nor even answer the question. then asked about deposits and holding a car. he claimed its not good business to hold a car for more than a week even though the car has been sitting there for months due to its bad condition, being waaayy overpriced and the kms, and well just the bad service over all. i will not be coming back and its made me understand why the place looks to dead all the time.

I recently purchased a vehicle to meet the needs of my expanding family. I dealt with Ryan and I could not be any happier with the experience and outcome. From the very beginning, I appreciated Ryan's excellent communication skills. He was very transparent and attentive and always smiling. After the purchase, I encountered an issue with the car (not mechanical) and texted Ryan after hours. I purchased Hyundai sonata from this dealer and on the day of purchase the AC was not working and he said to fix it and he just refilled the AC gas and doesn't fix the gas leakage and then AC stops working within first week of purchase and I had to pay $475 for AC . Even it's rotors also need to be machine which comes in 3but when I talk to him about that and he said to come after a week and he knows after a week roadworthy will expire and he don't need to do anything

A great family owned business! Ryan's a great bloke, he showed me a few cars, was very knowledgable and really helpful. It's disappointing to have needed the car towed twice and spent around $1000 on vital mechanical repairs in less than a year after buying this car. There’s still more problems too but to keep it running has been a constant struggle with no help at all. It may sold as-is with things missing/broken, but to have engine and radiator problems that require towing in less than a year has made this a hugely regrettable purchase.

Dear people, recently I went to SE Motors to buy a car. It was not suitable. To hold it I put down a $200 deposit. Adam was just wonderful. The car was for a refugee single woman with 4 children, so it had to be right. She has never had a car before. Adam refunded the money (it was a huge fundraiser) in a heartbeat. Such a decent man....a real human! I would recommend SE Motors any time....

We were really happy with the customer service from Ryan and the team. The car we bought for my son was in great condition and reasonably priced. We had to call about a radiator hose coming loose about three weeks after purchase. They checked out the car. Replaced the hose and had it back to us within a couple of hours. Highly recommend.
