I couldn't find a Sam's person to help me buy a 65" TV. I ended up loading this big heavy box standing up on a flat cart by myself. I asked a Sam's employee to help me and she just got the scanner and told me to scan a small strip at the bottom of the box and walked away. I tried to scan the box but I was holding up the box and trying to find the right bar code. The TV nearly fell a couple of times and I ran the cost to over $2000 too much trying to remove the overcharge. I finally waved down an employee and told her I no longer wanted the TV. Many Sam's personnel were watching me trying to deal with checking out and didn't try to help. (lots of Sam's employees hide in the aisle down by the pastries). I didn't get the TV and Sam didn't get my money. I am a senior citizen , this just makes it worst.

Best stores within this "square" are Specs and Best Buy. The coffee place would place 3rd, in my opinion. If you're hungry and you like Applebees or Serranos, you're in luck. Other than that, not much to write home about. I could be wrong but I haven't noticed many changes in this shopping center in quite some time. Perhaps an update or renovations might be beneficial for business or drawing in new customers. The parking lot is large but that's really the only positive thing I have to say about it. Easy access from the frontage road if you're traveling East on 71/290....whatever it's called. If you're heading North, Mopac is easily accessible from the parking lot as well.

Well organized stores, lots of parking. South Town Square has good mix of restaurants & retail stores. Driving through the lot can get you in a pickle & a few crazy drivers tend to make the lot wild-n-wooly. Having lived in Austin 27 yrs, I found this shopping center a little hard to get to around the Mopac / Hwy 290 exchange. But the businesses there are worth a little frustration. I've shopped at Sam's Club, & Best Buy - 1 of my favorite stores in South Austin many times. I've eaten at Applebee's & Serranos several times. I'll be back.

There are many good businesses in South Town Square. My favorites being Specs and Craigo's Pizza. If you haven't tried Craigo's yet you really should, it doesn't look like much from the outside but they have excellent pizzas, pasta, salads and more. My only complaint about this shopping center is the layout of the parking lot, it's not very easy to maneuver, and it's even worse during peak hours.

Older and dated location and layout. I've shopped at several business which are okay and dependent upon the business itself. There is often a concern about personal safety and/or valuables left in your car because there are usually a large number of homeless people loitering in the area. I have had no problems, just that it is a real concern.

At the entrance to Kohl's is a Sephor counter that sells makeup. Kohls itself sells a large smattering of items - clothes for the entire family (casual wear, pajamas, under garments, cookware, household goods, small appliances, perfumes, and more. Good parking outside front doors, friendly staff, well lit and clean.

The only store I visited was Sam's Club. The entrance that I used to enter made the parking lot seem a bit odd with the turns. There is also a Specs and a Best Buy. The over all square looked empty. There is a free standing Apple Bees in the same square. I have yet to explore the rest of the stores there.

This is like the Walmart of specs, just without a door greeter. They even have a wasabi bloody Mary mix that is absolutely to die for! I'm just hoping someday that I can see buzz ballz biggie ballz there, when they get those I might just have to set up camp in the parking lot.

If it's not here, then it's bound to be in one of the other plaza square mega-strip malls over or across the highways here. It's all so close, yet takes so much car time to circumnavigate. Take a moment to absorb the elegant efficiency. . . Why do we live here again?

This is a small mall in the corner of two big roads. There is a good amount of traffic that flows through the parking lot. There are a couple of nice stores there like Best Buy and coffee store, and a booze store. It is a pretty typical shopping center for Austin.

Massive joint! If you can't find an alcoholic drink you like at Spec's it's probably not made. Plus, far more "stuff" to purchase than alcohol. Many unusual foods not normally found at an average grocery. It's a good place to find something different.

If you can't what your looking for at your smaller liquor store head on over to Specs they will for sure have exactly what your looking for n everything that goes with what your making and maybe even some extras. So that's two thumbs up from Cindylu.

This one and total wine are a close tie. This one has a really awesome food/snack section that you won’t find at any other liquor store. Total wine probably has a better wine selection but that’s obvious. Not stars taken off for that.

Too many speed humps. Traffic flow is not very well engineered. Does have some bigger name stores and a few food chain places to bump up their rating. If they lose one though I predict this will become another abandoned strip mall.

Slow service. Ordered online for curbside. Apparently it was useless to give car description and time food would be ready. An employee still came to car to get name of the order. Food came out late! Disorganized for sure!

Seranos in South Town Square. Definitely better than the Northside Lakeline location. Better food, better customer service and all around better service. Had the beef taco salad and the El Grande plate. Delicious …

Customer service is a joke in this store. 1 clerk Donna and assistant mgr Stacy were the rudest. To me and others. Taking my business to Total Wine. Cleaner store and much more friendly staff Sorry Specs you lost me.

This is a great concept for you to be able to buy any kind of drinks and mixes at the same place. I think that there is so many things to choose that the concept gets lost and some people get overwhelmed for sure.

There's not much here that I use, other than Sam's Club. The Best Buy is handy, but I rarely need anything from here. I did use the notary recently at AAA. The places always seem busy with lots of traffic.

Good shopping center. My favorite stores are the Sam's Club and Specs. The main downside is trying to get out of the area. The light to go across to Brodie gets backed up pretty bad usually.

Can't say I'm ever disappointed by any of the stores in this shopping center. Spec's, Sam's, Best Buy and Seranos locations in this shopping center consistently provide quality experiences.

Easy parking easy getting in and out of the Square. I went to specs liquor here. And I also go to the Sam’s Club here. Lots of parking for handicap which is what I appreciate most.

Lots of shopping options! Best Buy, Sam's, Specs, and more. Serrano's four a meal, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for fuel! Only down side is the Ben White/MOPAC intersection to navigate.

Went to Serrano's Mexican Cantina. Good food with imaginative combinations. Prices are somewhat higher, but for the quality and quantity of the food it is worth the higher prices.

The geek squad at Best Buy are awesome! They educated me on why and how my issue occurred, fixed the problem in a day, and recommended a good preventive product for the future.

This place has everything you need and has been around since the birth of South Austin. From best buy to specs. Get your TexMex and coffee fill while you shop at Sam's Club.

An absolutely beautiful experience with the kindest waitpeople including the managers! Best meat in the generous size hamburgers and my hubby loves the dollar special beer♡♡

Place to best buy, Sam's club, aaa texas, food joints like apple bees, the coffee bean, and the alcoholic Spec's is here. It is a good place in south Austin closer to mopac

What I like about Applebees is that they are open late. The have a good variety of choices. If your looking for some late night munchies this is the place for you.

They have everything of shopping store around there it's busy especially during Christmas coming but definitely worth the wait. I didn't complain one bit …

Specs, Sports Clips, and a small but delicious Italian restaurant are the reasons I come here. And Sports Clips is now off of my list, so ya, Specs us great.

Nice shopping complex in South Austin with wide parking space. It hosts Best buy,Mattress firm, Specs,Sam's club, Serannos, Sports clips and AAA office.

Specs has the cheapest and best prices compared to any other liquor store. The prices are not even close. Best place to buy alcoholic beverages.

Hugh selection of wine & liquor at average prices. There were some local Austin liquors. AUSTIN 101 was a smooth whiskey, highly recommend

Went to Sam's club in this center. Hate this lot & fact that Sam's can't have a gas station. Is not conducive for drivers on parking.

Can be tricky getting in and out of the parking lot entrance. But harbor freight has some great deals on fair quality products. y

Grabbed a great cup of coffee and bagel at the coffee bean and what went and bought appliances for the house at the Best Buy :-)
