For a used car dealer who prides themselves on customer service I do not understand why you can not quite grasp that exact meaning. Yes I had read the reviews but figured the reviews were exaggerated once reading the reply from Southeast wholesale cars. WAS I WRONG. I had called little over 15 mins ago to advise I am a new mother my car had unexpectedly stopped working and I would need to purchase a car of 7-8 thousand dollars. I wanted to see if they had a Mazda 3 in that price range. I was told no, Not in my price range but instead “looked up” and gave me a price, make and model of another car nearly twice my stated price. I politely declined any further information around the double price car and asked if they had any family cars around the 7 thousand mark. I was told if I want to know I need to go and look. The tone was certainly belittling his approach was passive aggressive and he made me feel like I was stealing his precious time. I then advised this rude man I have a new born baby, I need to actually rent a car to get there so before I waste my time I need to see if you have a car in the budget I set. His response was a grunt. I then advised I had seen the shocking reviews listed on google and to expect another added to the bunch. To which he hung up on me saying something I could not understand. I feel like these people push away genuine interest. I am a serious buyer looking for a car for my family, I do not appreciate being spoken down to nor do I appreciate being treated as though what I have to offer is not good enough. I will take my business elsewhere like many people who have reviewed you have done so alike. I will advise my family and friends plus my social media accounts of the experience I had today. Your credibility lays with the public and I suggest you run a training package with staff members to update knowledge on acceptable customer service. I was looking for a car to drive around from Melbourne to SA and then sell again after three months before returning to the UK. I bought an old subaru from this dealership. As a foreigner in the country I took a local friend along and I'm very glad I did as he was able to verify my word after the event and he's a cop. The salesman Mark was ya typical friendly salesman. He allied fears I had about the car by saying he's give me a three month warranty, and 6 months Rego and as the battery was tired a 'new battery'. I don't know the area so he agreed that they would do the RWC and all the running around but would add 1500 to the price to do all that. He told me the car would be ready on in a few days. 10 days later I finally collected the car. I was wasn't told what had been done so I independently contacted the mechanic they use who told me not much was needed. The promises made on the forecourt evaporated. The rego was only 3 months not the promised 6, the warranty had gone down to 30 days and when the car conked out halfway along the great ocean road it was clear the battery wasn't replaced as I was told it would be on the forecourt. They ended up refunding me for the battery which I had to get done at a shop, but that was little compensation for being lied to. Mark seems to be challenged to keep his word. Classically he said 'i know I sound like a salesman' to which I replied you are a salesman. I wish people would just be honest and keep their word. Rob 42 Uk

Great service, great prices what more can you ask for? Dropped into this vast dealership on a Saturday, unannounced and without a phone call, so view a vehicle that I had recently seen online. Car presented just as per photos, and upon entry was greeted by Benny. Very friendly, no BS and informative about the car and any further info I wanted to know. This included everything he thought I should know, and beyond. Arranged a prompt test drive with no fuss, and no hard sell, just how it should be, and something rare in the present day used car sales. After returning we chatted about the car, and the price, and he was able to adjust as best he could, given the car was already extremely well priced compared to market, and without further ado, the deal was done with a handshake and smile. Daniel handled the financials and paperwork, and again with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards every aspect of the the transaction. I don't usually buy cars from any used car yards due to poor experiences in the past with overpriced, tarted up stock, and greasy sleazy salesmen, but Southeast Wholesale Cars really reminded me of how it should be. Pop in and see the boys, I can't recommend them highly enough!

I purchased my Toyota Aurion from here back in July, and I still love it. After having issues with my previous car, I decided to upgrade to something more reliable and family friendly. And after a long search, I found my ideal car at Southeast Wholesale. I rang and enquired about it, went down to look, and was taken straight to it and given a test drive. I was not pressured into buying it, which had been my biggest frustration about car hunting, and the staff were friendly and accommodating to my needs. I’d also like to throw in that they are absolute champions for dealing with my finance company. I’ve never purchased a car from a dealership before, so I had some concerns, but it was comforting to know that the car had passed a RWC easily, and my mechanic found no faults during the service. After explaining the issues with my previous vehicle, the staff also offered me an extended warranty, which I also found reassuring. Would honestly recommend to all my friends and family. So honest and friendly. Will definitely purchase from again.

I took my daughter car shopping on her 18th birthday. As she was still a student her budget was very small at $3500, but our expectations were appropriate for what we had to spend. Throughout the day we endured dealer after dealer treating us like idiots, not interested at all, or trying to bully us into spending more. By the time we got to Southwest I was feeling disheartened at the whole experience. But Benny was a breath of fresh air. His approach was down to earth and genuine, he didn't sneer at our small budget, and I never felt we were being groomed for a sale. He was genuinely interested in our wants and needs and found the perfect car for my daughter at $500 under budget. Daniel took care of the paperwork aspect and was equally professional and genuine. Brought a car not long ago from Paul to be honest was very good at start and not pushy soon as I brought the car took it home picked up a few things that was wrong with the car by going to ford to get it checked few major things like cracked wheels windscreen ect that shouldn’t have passed a road worthy Paul had organised a tow from where I lived back to the mechanic that did the road worthy few things got replaced and fix as I needed to go back to get my car he had told me I could of drove my car on cracked wheels 2 hour drive even tho that’s unsafe calling me names to other people who had called for me as i couldn’t deal with him anymore poorly customer service wouldn’t buy another car and recommend on getting the car checked before you leave here.

They are honest, very competitively priced for the quality of the cars that they sell, not at all forceful or pushy as some carsales people can be, incredibly friendly and overall very accomodating. What a great find. We came through here looking for cars on the weekend and were surprised at the quality and selection that was available. We found a fantastic car at a great price and negotiated an extended warranty to leave extremely happy customers. The staff were great and answered all of our questions. After an inspection of the vehicle and a few very minor fixes (some brake pads etc) we were all settled and drove away very, very happy. Thank you and the whole team for a very frictionless purchase and overall great experience. We had seen another car here that we were not even looking for that might just do the trick as well. So we will potentially be back again, hopefully very soon.

In the many years I’ve owned cars - I’ve never bought from a car dealer. Seaford Wholesale cars - especially Daniel, really knows his cars. Daniel also made paperwork surprisingly fun to do! It was nice to find a passionate person to chat to about cars while doing forms. Absolutely stoked with the car I got from these guys. In general a positive experience, salesmen were not pushy and found them accommodating. Amazingly after I purchased the car they performed some costly maintenance work (timing belt) completely at their discretion. Saving me from having to get this work done. I am usually wary of car dealers but this is somewhere I would happily send family and friends. Not your stereotypical car dealer. There is no chance I could have got a better car for the price anywhere else. Aside from this, they had a pretty good choice of cars for most people and budgets. We saw a couple of cars online & when we popped into the yard, one of these cars was already sold the day before. Benny ( the salesman ) showed my the other car but I wouldn't budge because of the color ( don't like white lol ). Would have given the boys five stars had it not been for my experience upon pickup. For the two weeks prior it had been a pleasure, they even went out of their way to ensure the car was not sold while I waited for finance to clear. However on the day of pickup, I was seemingly an inconvenience. I was hastily made to sign paperwork and then was thrown the keys to the van I purchased. I turned around to ask a question and the salesman was already gone. Pretty disappointed custom service ends when the cash is in hand.

Staff not helpful at all, down right rude to be honest. Granted we got there 1 hour before closing time but that does not give them the right to talk down to customers. And we drove 1hour and 45 minutes to see them and they still couldnt look after us. We had to stand around 30 minutes before someone attended to us and they were not even busy. Well their loss. I will gladly go somewhere else. Wouldnot recommend this place to anyone.

I flew down from Canberra to buy the car based on the photos, description and FaceTime walk around with Benny. Benny was great at pointing out anything I needed to know about the car before I flew down. When I arrived, Benny picked me up from Frankston so I could test drive the car. Second hand car salesmen usually have a bad reputation, but I found this venue extremely welcoming, honest, and helpful. I bought a second hand car at a fair and decent price, and the salesman was pleasant and helpful in every way. The car has proved to be entirely trustworthy, and I am delighted with the purchase. Very dodgy car yard, selling vehicles without roadworthy certificates illegal under section 42A - consumer affairs, rude workers hang up when they’re called out on. Charging buyer’s for cost of RW, also illegal. Ripping people off with a $1500 roadworthy certificate. Don’t waste your time with them.
