"A great little shopping centre, especially for those who don't like the Westfield type"
"South gate Square is a shopping centre that has the majority of stores you need on a daily basis"
"I really like this shopping centre"
"This place doesn't have too much, but the only place you need here is Southgate Yiros! If you have not been there yet, stop reading this and head there now bro wth you doing? I don't come here for any other reason"
"southgate square seems to be a nice place to hang out and do what you need to do when u need to do it"
A great little shopping centre, especially for those who don't like the Westfield type. All the shops can be accessed individually from the carpark & there is a good range to choose from. Aldi, Coles, Target, Spendless Shoes, SpecSavers, Aus Post, Campbell's Newsagents, Reject Shop, Subway, as well as a jewellers, butcher, chicken and chip shop, health food, nail salon and massage services, plus more. There are plenty of banks, doctors, pathology and dental services across the road. I've never had any trouble finding a park here & there are some limited undercover parking spaces available. All in all a great set up.
South gate Square is a shopping centre that has the majority of stores you need on a daily basis. Supermarkets x 2, cheap stores x 2, chicken shop, Butcher, Target, Post Office, Chemist, Newsagent, Natural shop, shoe shop and clothing store, Barbara x 2, Bottle Shop, Pizza, Sushi, Nails, Gemstones and lots more. You can do pretty much everything you need at the one place. I love that fact. Also that all the shop owners are happy to be there to.
I really like this shopping centre. It has 2 cafes, 2 or 3 !? Sushi, and one's a sushi train type. There's a yiros shop, fish and chip/ chicken shop which I know does good onion rings. 2 cafes, both different. Post Office, Target, Also, Spend less shoes, dollar store/cheap shop x 2. Post office, Chemist, Health Shop l. Coles l, Also, Bottle Shop, Vacuum Cleaner Shop, Specsavers or similar and a few others. Recommend it.
This place doesn't have too much, but the only place you need here is Southgate Yiros! If you have not been there yet, stop reading this and head there now bro wth you doing? I don't come here for any other reason. My wife and I froth the Lamb AB large w/ cheese, garlic and BBQou SAUCE!!! Oh man I could go one Rn fr. Sponsored by the Australian Government Canberra.
southgate square seems to be a nice place to hang out and do what you need to do when u need to do it. i got a nice haircut but was disappointed with the quite interesting songs being used in there. target is always a nice place to hang out and buy what u need. go to the subway they have delicious subways. thank you southgate square for a lovely afternoon.
Can always get a park. With the shops available you can pretty much get everything in one stop - with a bit of a walk. It's a shame eb games is no longer here The sun shades over the car parks are great in sunny days, but on rainy days they direct all the water right in the end of your car and saturate you while you pack your car
Much prefer shopping at this centre. It has a great mix of stores and they are all friendly. I have only ever had 1 nasty experience and as a result the shop in question lost a sale worth more than $150. They have since shut down and moved. Particularly love the butchers and newsagent.
Cars that reverse into park are dangerous backing into oncoming traffic then drive out quickly put up a sign to ask not to do this, also love the shelter for parking but in wrong area should have been further away to make the lazybones walk and not stay in covered parking for long time
Easy to get to, plenty of parking. Aldi sells coffee pods that fits into my machine and their toiletries are cheaper. Coles has the variety. Always find my favorite magazines in the Newsagents. Southgate cafe has nice lunches, good service and friendly staff. It's my favorite cafe.
It has all the shops I need. 2 supermakets, butcher, chemist, cafes. I don't like the target much, they don't have much variety & it's sml. I really dislike the carpark! Alot of it is oneway, very pokey and busy. People are always having accidents like backing out into each other!
SouthGate Square Located In Corner Of Hillier Rd & Sherriffs Rd Morphett Vale Adelaide. Where Couple Of Famous Businesses Located. Coles, Aldi , Australia Post, Target, Flight Centre & More. Some Delicious Take Away & Casual Dine In Restaurants Also Located In SouthGate Square
Target trolley collectors need to collect the ones out in the streets. There's been one in Acre Ave for nearly a Year & reported over 20 times to the collection number, Target managers etc etc and even the police but still where they were told its been for security.
I've come to like this shopping centre even though it's not a big complex. It has everything you need, Coles, Target, a lovely cafe, reject shop, Neds, banks, spec savers and more. I always find what I want and don't have to deal with huge treks to find a shop
Its a 60's design shopping centre known as a strip mall in the US, this the only shopping centre that i know of I know of like this in Adelaide, very unique indeed, plenty of parking under the shade sails and wheel chair freindly, and parking at the rear to.
Great variety of shops in close proximity4such a small shopping precinct, offering food, supermarkets, fresh grocers, gifts, chemist, takeaway food, department store, post office, public loo, clothing shops and more (nearby banks&locksmith&car shops)......
Nice little shopping centre. I like how its open strip shopping (all stores open out to the carpark). Has a lot of stores that locals would need ie; supermarket, post office, chemist, newsagents, food outlets and a couple of small misc shops
This shopping centre is quite small but holds everything that you need for a weekly shop. The layout is long and more like a one sided mall rather than the normal compact shop a cross from shop supermarket layout that you usually find.
Best hairdressers in Adelaide located near rear carpark entrance, as well as Fine art 22. But rest of the stores are abit black lusted and over rated. Needs a big freshn up personally. Better cloths stores, better jewellery.
Good variety of stores along with Target, Aldi and Coles. There are travel agents, vacuum cleaners and fast food as well as many other specialty stores. Kmart Tyre & Auto is in the parking lot and Westpac across the road.
Good selection of shops to cater for basic needs, excellent jewellers...Allens...adequate parking...some under cover which is good, level ground for walking if elderly or infirm, good selection of eateries/coffee shops.
Been going to this place for years it's got basically everything you need in one spot the only downside is finding a car park can be a pain it's best to arrive early to get a good spot near the shops for less walking.
Its nice to see that long-time businesses are still there and the once-vacant shop fronts have tenants and are open for business. It could really do with some stores that cater to children or pets to add more variety.
Car park is disgraceful, need more parking bays, toilets need to be cleaned more regularly & another shopping centre as usual that needs more trolley bays as Coles is always running out of trolleys …
Use to be 3 atms i could use for free a year or so ago. Now there's only 1 charging $19 for a balance.. slight exaggeration but we as a people should start our own bank.. Besides that its good complex
Parking is rather tight, as is the walkways. Hard to navigate the small walkways with large trolleys. Good selection of shops, but definitely lacking some essentials. Decent suburban shopping centre.
Large suburban shopping centre where the major retailers are Coles, Target , Aldi and various smaller food cafe and services businesses. Most of you shopping needs can be met be visiting this centre.
It's my local.. at times it can be a struggle to find a car park.. So I avoid weekends, and only stop after work, but good range of shops, can't say I've experienced bad service of any of the shops..
Its a very casual place to visit. I absolutely love Neds for their craft supplies. I would recommend this store to everyone if they like doing craft. Their prices are alot better the The Reject Shop
Has a good range of stores, parking lot can be a little tight to maneuver in and the public restrooms could do with being renovated a little nicer, but for the most part it's a pretty good complex.
Good place for your shopping needs. Busy. Traffic one-way only. Drive with caution. Watch the signs painted on the road. Pedestrian traffic is high. Watch for kids as car parks can get congested.
Here very regularly, mainly at Coles & Target, but has everything else you're after. Hot tip: Park around the back (behind the Post Office), super easy to get in & out without the traffic issues
Has an extensive range of stores....Coles & Aldi, plus "Specialist" shops. Not much you can't get there. One "minus" is the "let's put 300 car park spaces where only 200 should be!!!!
Nice little shopping center with Coles , Target and Aldi, plus lots of little stores like Baker's Delight. Carpark can sometimes be completely full so early morning is normally best
Car park is very tight. Saw kids taking old cigarettes out of ashtrays. If you really need to go there it's fine for a quick shop. The place next to supermarket has THE BEST bami.
Great shopping centre. Small but there are always parking spaces and shopping trolleys available. Shops in the centre are well priced and provide everything a normal family needs.
Cool location without the busy frustration of a busy mall. Has a few shops, supermarket, department store etc. Heaps of parking. Definitely friendly for older folk and families.
Great local shops with plenty of variety. Shame the massage shop closed tho. Car park could of been better designed to eliminate bottle necks it can get very congested at times
The car parking is terrible. There isn't much range in the shops. It's either Coles, Aldi or Target. Surely, the carpark doesn't help the lack of people wanting to visit.
Fantastic little group of shops that caters to every thing from nails, bakery, supermarkets, fashion, shoes and much more. Very relaxed atmosphere. I love shopping here.
I use this Coles every fortnight and the Target is also convenient. This is also the closest Subway to junk food corner. There is also an Aldi and other assorted stores.
This place is the best jewellery shop. They have everything from expensive jewellery, costume jewellery, fixing things, batteries, resizing all with a beautiful smile.
Went to Bami and purchased a Vietnamese roll. Was well priced at $8.50 for 1 roll but is packed full of ingredients and is not skimpy in filling and very flavoursome.
Terrific staff there they are awesome but I really miss the express check out with staff there I guess service is going going gone otherwise they are awesome …
Not a bad little shopping spot. Terrible in the rain or very cold weather as all exposed parking and walk ways. Convenient for Coles, target, Aldi and reject shop.
Not the easiest local shopping centre, carpark is a nightmare with too many drivers not looking at the conditions. I used to go regularly but not so often now
What a great shopping complex has just about all you need in it . Carparking can be a bit tight in a larger car but don't let that put you off from popping in
Great shopping centre in southern part of Adelaide. Plenty of parking space. It has Coles, Target, Aldi, with cafes and take aways, newsagent and many more
I go most mornings for a coffee with friends at the palace cafe. I do all my shopping there, pay my bills, it so convenient for me. Merry Christmas …
Only went to the opticians to get an eye test here. There is a variety of shops plenty of parking including disabled. Toilet facilities were clean.
Best sushi at the cherry blossom next to Coles, but the sushi Hiro just as affordable. The yiros and fish and chip shops are also very delicious:]
22 years lived here. Seen a lot of changes. It's a pity it's not proportioned properly. Target needs to be at end of square, not a pizza place.
Easy parking. Clean! Reasonable range of retail outlets and Diaz Cafe has good service. Other shops in nearby surrounding area expands choice.
Hard to get into carpark space they r too small... Everything is tight and people seem agro .... Maybe everyone is finding it difficult too...
I've been shopping at this complex for 45yrs & it has changed greatly in that time. If u need anything there's a shop there to serve ur needs
Always busy, people driving the wrong way. Good shops but recently lost a few shops: Subway, boutique. New bubble tea shop, good sushi shop
Pretty good local shopping centre... come on a Tuesday to see the toothless and tattooed arguing over a sausage roll. Good range of shops..
Car parking is terrible. Too many tables on the walk way making it difficult to walk along the paths when busy. Shop choice is reasonable.
Prompt service, great fresh sandwiches, nice coffee. There is also some seating outside if you don’t mind lots of people walking past.
Parking can be difficult at times. Great shops to browse, has Target, Coles, Aldi, cafes, quick eats, to name a few. 4.5 rating
Great easy shopping. Easy access. Always busy. Better than Hallett cove, but the toilets don't compare. Hallett Cove rates top.
Love this little shopping centre however it would be great to have a fruits and vegetables shop. Also the car park is awful.
The shops that are still in this centre are great however, with the rents being so high there are a number of empty shops.
You only got one Star because can't believe how much price's have sky rocket through the roof not happy about COLES at all
I like the Target, the only one down south. I really like Ned's cheap store with lots of variety. Nail salon is good too.
Liked the shopping centre. Disappointing to discover they close on public holidays as I planned to shop more and couldn't
Just a really nice place to shop... But Coles, your Fruit Salad Bowls are terrible, Soggy Fruit isn't my thing, Sorry
Great shopping centre. Went to Coles friendly staff . Had a coffee at muffin break again friendly staff great coffee
Always shop here for coles, good bun me rolls outside coke spring rolls bun me roll $10 heaps of meat well worth it.
What shops that are left are being strangled by extremely high rent. Don't know how long it'll last at this rate.
Love the Steak House, Fabulous Variety of Meat Staff are Very helpful and so Friendly wouldn't go anywhere else
I needed to go the bank across the road and it was just so easy to park and do my shopping in and out perfect
Big shopping centre that I go to when I'm down south. Has a Coles which I prefer above other supermarkets.
Everything you need in one place, clean shopping centre and so far friendly and helpful staff …
In & out went to Coles, reject shop & subways. Plenty of parking & easy to get around on my walker
Always too busy for my liking. Carport is always crazy. Try to stay away. Only go when necessary.
Really enjoyed the shopping experience here Many shops including Target Coles Aldi Newsagent etc.
Nice, compact place with Coles, Target, Aldi, mycar, and a range of other shops and food places.
Lovely little shopping village. Fabulous crystal store, dine in cafes, bakery and supermarkets.
Great local shopping centre with a good range of shops to browse through and plenty of parking.
Parking is very tight Target uses machines instead of tellers, don't like shopping at target.
Easy to get a park, great to see shade over the parking. It was easy to get in and out of.
Good but it's pretty tight parking definitely my preference to go shopping though
Many shops there to satisfy your needs ,the steak house butchers are awesome
Love doing my shopping here, great variety and great atmosphere …
Love this shopping centre, was super busy on a Monday. Lots of good shops
Aldi was great but parking is tricky coz the parking spaces are so small
Pretty decent. Good food and cheap prices at Coles but aldi is expensive
Top place always shop there the news agent are great Brian is a legand
Good place lots of shops just.the parking hard to park and too busy
Great little shopping centre with everything you need in one place.
Always really busy, plenty of car parking. Self serve checkouts.
Small, busy shopping centre with Coles, target and other shops
Great shops, friendly staff Add a shoe shop like foot locker
Plenty of shops, services, amenities all in the one spot
Most of the shops you could need and easily accessible.
Nice shops, very busy carport. Not a lot of space.
Great shopping centre, carpark a little crazy!
Great range of shops and lots of parking.
