STAY AWAY! Possibly the worst dental experience I’ve had in my life was from this dental clinic. This isn’t a dental clinic, it is a business. They treat patients as “customers” and really only care about money. My experience with one of the older male dentists was terrible, he did not explain or even bother to say what he was going to do, show me any x-rays of my teeth, or even bother to ask how I was feeling before immediately beginning a root canal. When I told the dentist I felt uncomfortable and anxious before starting the surgery I was given a reply that went: “why are you wasting my time?”. Extremely unprofessional and as I stated before, this is a business and not a dental clinic who cares for their patients, you are mere customers in their eyes. I have switched dentists since and the difference between my new dentist and the “dentist” at Sparrow is like night and day. The simplest questions like “how are you feeling today?” or even a simple explanation of what procedures were going to be done on my teeth BEFORE being done were comforting, professional, and mindful, unlike Sparrow, who’s first questions are usually, “do you have insurance?”. I hope this helps people pick the right dentist they deserve. STAY AWAY FROM SPARROW!

Dr. Anmar AlGlao saw me today with only one hour's notice to extract a failed root canal tooth. It was an emergency appointment. No other dentist would perform this and I was stuck waiting weeks for an extraction specialist. I had been in severe pain for 3 weeks already with no one able to or willing to help until I called his office. Dr. Anmar performed this extraction with ease, gentleness, professionalism and he assured and comforted me through the process. I was a bit nervous and he calmed those fears. His dental assistant was very kind and sweet too making it much easier, I'm sure they could tell I was nervous! He made sure I was completely numb. Honestly it only took 1/2 hr for everything to be done. I am so glad I returned to this clinic because I hadn't been there since he took it over. Am I ever glad I did! Now I have a capable competent dentist who doesn't shy away from even complicated procedures. I am grateful. And by the way it was really the fabulous ladies at the front desk who made it all happen and got me in so swiftly, I am very appreciative to them, they are sweethearts and so caring! I highly recommend this office!

Avoid avoid avoid!!!! Firstly, I went during the peak of the pandemic and I hate to be that person but the main lobby/waiting room looked like it hadn't been cleaned In a while!! And secondly, I left being told I had 5 + cavities and they told me I'd need to return for a few more appointments at least. I went to another dentist (thankfully) and low and behold this dentist did not give accurate results as my new dentist could not find one cavity after I told him what I was previously told. Also, was told I'd have to pull my wisdom teeth which my new dentist advised against since they're touching nerves and could have serious consequences. Definitely avoid or get a second opinion before they drill into your teeth for no reason! Happy to hear I had no cavities, not happy to hear that I wasn't told that here. Also, uncomfortable as the dentist was snapping at his assistant the entire time.... And thirdly, they billed me wrong and called me over a month later to say I still owed over 300+ dollars... Justttt awful! Sorry but that was my honest experience here.

I recently had an issue with a staff member at this location which prompted me to leave a poor review. Upon seeing said review, someone called me right away to ask what had happened and to apologize to me. I did feel like that apology was sincere and very much appreciated it. I have changed my rating and review to reflect that. I have been going here for about 6 months now and due to an illness, my teeth were in terrible shape. Dr. Halal has been fantastic at getting my teeth fixed and making them look so much nicer. It's really helped my self esteem and confidence and my oral hygiene has also improved alot too. It's been a long process because I have a phobia of the dentist and it sometimes takes me weeks to work up to a visit but once I'm there things get done quickly and efficiently. He's very good at what he does and very gentle and soft spoken aswell which I find very calming & helpful . The receptionist who works during the week is also super nice.

I went to this clinic many times. Most of them were good. Dr. Yasser was super nice but I was very disappointed and frustrated in the last visit. I took my 9 years old son. He was seen by Dr. Yasser. My son had only 2 cavities. The doctor did both of them. However, he asked me if I have an insurance and when I said yes he proceeded to do more work. He did another 4 teeth which are the baby teeth which will be replaced within the next 2 years. Actually these teeth have only small spots that is not even visible to the normal people. I think they need a dentist and a magnifying lens to be seen. The doctor did them and charge me extra $800. The whole procedure took less than 30min. I was so frustrated about that. It was my fault to agree to do them. It’s very unacceptable for the dentist to do unnecessary treatment just to make money. I decided not to go to this dentist anymore. He is nice but what he’s done was not acceptable.

The receptionist was really rude and there is no way to hold her responsible either, she has no experience or responsibility, She doesn't have a good manner, she hangs up even though you haven't finished talking, and won't answer, unless you call from another number, like I did. Changed dates as you like without referring to me. And when you ask her, she tells you that the system has changed it by itself. But I do not believe her, I definitely do not recommend the clinic with this operator. Unfortunately, I have referred 16 of my friends and neighbors, two of whom had already left because of it, to other clinics. Some of them told me, but I didn't pay attention to them. I'll say the them for a change. Really, if I could find less than a star, I'd put it down

Excellent team of Dentists, Hygienist and administrative team, which provided excellent solutions to my teeth and hygiene. Dr Yaser Dabbour did excellent surgeries of my different teeth regardless of Root Canal, Extraction or Filling and there was very light or no pain at all. I strictly followed the advice of Dr Yaser after every surgery and didn't have any pain or infection issue at all. My recoveries were fast. Saudi Sadeddin, Hygienist did excellent for my teeth cleaning while recommending me best solution for maintaining good hygiene and excellent flossal solution. The administrative staff at front desk are friendly and helpful while providing expert advice. Thanks to all of your great professional work.

I have been going to Sparrow Dental for a few years now for minor cosmetic work done to my teeth and I highly recommend them. Don't be thrown off by the change of the companies name, there is still the same staff working. I have dealt with Dr. Yaser Dabbour over the years and he is excellent at what he does. Gurjit is always a pleasure to deal with whether it be over the phone or when I visit their location she's always smiling and professional in assisting me. i called to ask about the price for wisdom tooth extraction they said between 150$ to 200$ i said ok book me in, their website says consultations free i went there they did X-ray for 60$ which’s fine and then 100$ for literally 1min examination whiches consultation but they use another name for it there ! I asked how much for the tooth extraction they said 400$. The receptionist which’s the same person who assist the dr and does x ray she’s not practicing social distance and not wearing mask she’s literally speaking on my face with no mask ! If you want expensive visit for nothing go there and enjoy !

I got a tooth pulled on Monday, which the dentist was really amazing and really fast and gentle he get a 5 Star in my opinion. But the receptionist was really rude and no manner she is also in charge of taking the x-ray. When I called before I came in I got told that it was ok for my boss to pay with a visa or MasterCard true the phone but when I got there and when she ask me how I would pay I told her it would be true the phone as my boss would pay for me. She said we don't do this and was very rude and gave me attitude. She get the 2 star really bad receptionist with attitude she gets a two Star.

I have been to this clinic many times with Dr.Anas. I am EXTREMELY happy and satisfied. Very gentle, no pain during or after the session, professional and considering. Dental assistant at the reception was very polite, positive and welcoming! she always welcomed me with a big smile and accommodated me to fit my busy work schedule. Funny fact! I used to be afraid of the dental clinic. I had a bad experience with another clinic were I had to suffer from injuries in my gum for a week after the sessions. Now I am so happy I found this clinic. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience with this dental office. My regular office wasn't taking any emergencies and couldn't accommodate my issues so I tried Sparrow Dental, I was in so much pain from a tooth root issue and once my emergency work was done it felt like brand new. I didn't even need to take advil for any residual pain or discomfort. I then went in for a root canal afterwards and it was just as well done. I haven't any need to take any pain medication and my mouth feels like new. Friendly staff and great employees. Highly recommend.

All the one star reviews hold absolutely no merit what-so-ever. I needed an emergency dentist after breaking my front tooth clean in half Easter weekend. Everywhere was closed but the Walk In Dentist took me in right away and did a great job with a temporary fix. All staff were very kind and always concerned about my pain level since my nerve was exposed. The wait was short. I felt very well cared for. And the price for the procedure was very affordable. I am very appreciative of the great work and fast treatment.

So, I've had quite a few hygenists over the years and Saadi is the best I've ever had. He's very caring and calming and has an excellent approach to giving information. I'm 43, and he taught me a new method for brushing my very crowded teeth. :) Why hadn't I ever heard of this before? He even told me about the link between periodontal disease and diabeties! If you want someone who is knowledgeable, caring, and kind this really is the place you should go. Ask for him. I promise you'll receive excellent care :)

Amazing Service! Dr. Anmar always makes me feel 100% comfortable and tells me the procedure step by step. Out of all the dentist I’ve been too, Dr. Anmar is definitely the best. He knows what he’s doing and he’s really good at it. He’s always honest with me and compassionate. Went to the Dentist yesterday after motivating my absence from school. My dad made the appointment for 11:30, and he had it confirmed 6 times by the receptionest on the telephone. When I got there, imagine the surprise... The receptionest had changed the appointment and pushed it 1 hour later, and put people of her family or friends infront of us. That Bias was very disappointed, and now I am stuck with a painful tooth for over a week. GET BETTER RECEPTIONEST

I did cleaning here and it was very bad . She hearts me too much. And after that I got infection. I came back to the clinic because I couldn't open my mouth and too much pain but they do nothing for me. Next day my situation become worse I couldn't sleep all the night . I went to other clinic last Saturday and the doctor give me an antibiotic because I got infection after cleaning. Thank you for this experience I will never forget it.

I've been coming to this clinic for many years and have always been very satisfied with their service. Dr Halal takes the time to discuss with his patients and explains everything about what needs to be done. He's a very good dentist. All hygienists do a great job too. As for Gurgit the receptionist, she is very sweet, polite and professional. I highly recommend Sparrow Dental clinic.

my usual orthodontist is dr. Halal and he’s been for the past 5 years. I had braces and treated cavities along those years. Very gentle when treating and the staff are very understanding and helpful. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to treat any dental service. I’ve also treated some things from doctor Dabbour and he’s also amazing. Overall, awesome clinic and services!!

I am so happy with the emergency care I received. I was experiencing intense pain and a lot of anxiety. Dr Dabbour was kind, patient, understanding, and did an amazing job making me as comfortable as possible. His assistant and the receptionist are also both lovely. I am so thankful of how quickly and efficiently my problem was taken care of. I would definitely recommend!

Horrible work I have edges that catch my tongue everytime. Horrible service. I was billed the full amount and they billed my insurance company for the same amount. After that was sorted they sent me a bill for the amount insurance didnt cover even though it had already been paid. Phone calls go unanswered. Week 3 still no answer. Never again will I use this clinic

I would rate this dental office a 10/10. If I have an emergency, I'm always booked and taken care of as soon as possible. They always know how to make sure you are comfortable and not experiencing any discomfort. They have a great customer service and care for their patients. Nothing but positive things to say about this clinic and I would highly recommend it.

My first experience there, was I needed a couple of fillings replaced. The dentist asked if I trusted him and I said yes. With no freezing, the dentist worked on my two teeth without any pain. I was experiencing some tooth pain and call to see the earliest I could come in and have that reviewed. The office took me in immediately and I was out 20 minutes later. Everyone was extremely friendly, the work was done quickly and without causing me any discomfort. Really as good an experience as I can imagine having a tooth pulled could be.

I honestly thought I was at a great clinic However there's a sign on wall stating if you're I'll dont come in I called this morning, over 5 hrs before appointment to cancel an reschedule I was told I will be charged $75.00 I'm on odsp and simply can't afford this And this is outrageous! I will be goin somewhere else!!!!

I had a broken 17 with no crown. The root is now below the gum line and it's it cuts like glass. This nice man + the staff saw to polish the edges. I can't chew on that side but what a relief. ODSP POSPH for the handicapped is not respected in east Ottawa. It takes me an hour but they are so respectful. Marci beaucoup!!

Excellent service at a very reasonable cost! Great people with very friendly atmosphere. I asked for an emergency appointment, and received a preferential treatment at half of the cost that was quoted to me by other clinics. I would highly recommend Dr. Mahdy Al-Mullah and his clinic for dental services.

Getting to the office was a little bit confusing but didn't take long to figure it out. Joyce does an amazing job for teeth cleaning, I recommending her! Appointments were easy to set up and there was no difficulty paying with insurance. This is a great small walk-in clinic for your 6 month check ins!

I'm getting my baces done here with Dr. Halal. I also had some cavities treated here. If you've ever had dentist anxiety Dr. Halal is the one to go to. The staff in the reception are also very helpful and kind. Scheduling is flexible and prices are affordable. All in all, my favourite place to go to.

There is a hygienist Wajma, she is amazing and very friendly. I was very happy with her work today. I got amazing result today, she took her time and she was very carful. that location very lucky because they have her.

By the way all the reviews that were written 'a month ago' with different accounts at the same time are all fake reviews and written by the fired employee's friends/family. The employee got fired due to incompetency.
