9/06/19 went with family for the dinner. I ordered Southern fried chicken, Scotch Fillet & Ceasar Salad with chicken. First call through buzzer has been made for pick up the food. I went to get the food there was only Southern fried chicken was on shelf. I asked Counter Guy where is the rest of the food. He mentioned he thought it’s only one food. He got mistaken. He told to go back in my table and waith there. I was watching my food buzzer doesn’t rang for 13 minutes. I went to the Counter Guy I have told him I am not going to accept the Southern fried burger as it is sitting on the shelf for more than 13 minutes. He asked the Chef to redo the Southern fried chicken. By the time they took it back. They placed Scotch fillet and Ceasar salad on shelf. By the time I got the Southern fried chicken back. Steak became rubber. When I took the food to the table. It looks soggy and chips wasn’t hot enough due to sitting on shelf. Ceaser salad has not enough chicken as they usually do. When you are paying $8 only for adding chicken in salad you look for it. Normally, I never had this kind of experience in the past. Very disappointed with the service today. I felt like I drained the money into the gutter. Me and my family didn’t enjoy even a single bite of food with happiness. “Disappointed” ☹️

Not only is the sports bar a great place to watch an array of sports, they also offer a vast menu and is the perfect casual dining experience at The Star. My wife and I ordered chicken wings, the T-bone steak, a steak sandwich and a Greek salad for mains. It didn’t take very long for the food to come out. The chicken wings with the ranch dressing are an absolute must when eating here. The T- bone was a little tough and could have used more salt. The saving grace on the plate were the thick cut fries which are amongst the best we’ve tasted. The steak sandwich was delicious and had a nice peppery kick. It’s actually 2 sandwiches so it’s a very generous serving size. The Greek salad was fresh, tasted good and had a decent amount of feta, which is always a plus. Great atmosphere, good food and to make it even better they have a F1 game set up now which is free to play for all us big kids.

The food was okayish. Did not like the fact that I paid too much for this food. Out of all the varieties I ordered, I juts thought one of them was worth the money. But overall not very satisfying. The food wasnt well served too. It literally felt like they’ve dumped food on a place and served. Which is pretty disappointing as it does not look appetising at all. Did like the vibe though. Definitely a good place to watch a match as the crowds very interesting and enthusiastic when there’s a game. But if you’re just going there to try the food then I’d say better not. Not a food fan but recommend watching a game.

Went there for Súperbowl 2020. Food was ok but not amazing for sports bar std. was also having a bottle of wine with friends sitting quietly but partner got kicked out because apparently her eyes were glassy. We asked for a breath test but they refused. We were half way through a bottle of wine but they refused to give money back. Handed us a card saying they could cheat us up to the value of $500 We talked calmly and courteously but they still surrounded us and intimidated us with 3 meat heads. In other words our opinion doesn’t matter only that of someone that did a 40 min RSA course online.

My mates and I used to come here to watch sports events such as the Bledisloe, MotoGP, NRL or soccer. Besides the big screens, the best part USED TO BE the ribs, the nachos, salt and pepper squid, steaks. Don’t come here unless you want dehydrated deep-fried chicken wings with hardly any meat on them or a $30 burger. HUGE disappointment. Plus there was a 30-minute wait. We won’t be back. Our local serves better food and it’s a whole lot friendlier.

I didnt try any of the food I was in Darling Harbour and decided to drop in for a look to see whats going on at the Casino, if you just want to hang out and get on wifi and have a drink id say its probably your best place in the Casino.lts a sports bar on steriods, very large screens and lots of them .The gambling here seems to be going pretty strong the pokies are busy as usual asians sitting at them.Nothing changes much. The dodgy stuff with money laundering ,seems to be business as usual and all forgotten .The Surf and Turf looks ok and its not a bad price, membership is free.

Usually the food is really good here, and i understand the smaller quicker menu for large events like the ufc fight yesterday, but i basically got my nachos 30 seconds after i ordered got halfway through and realised it was a bit a cold and something tasted a bit funny. My fault for not bringing it to your attention but im still feeling the effects of it the next day :s Might want to make sure the food is 100 percent heated before serving it.

Very bad customer service from the white anglo girl who has collagen camel looking lips and her hair tied up. She has no idea on how to prepare a basic tap beer into a schooner and she disrespect me and my mum with some low class bad attitude. Rolling her eyes does not help at all. She is just the worst ever star casino Staff I have ever encountered. Get rid of her! We are not coming back because of her disgusting customer service.

A disappointing bartending experience. The bartender had trouble making my cocktail, and kept forgetting what he was supposed to put into it. This was especially disappointing given the price of the cocktail. I was talking to someone else at the bar who mentioned that in the past the bartenders were much more lively and had a nice flair to put on a show as they made your drink. This is definitely not how I’d describe the bar now.

The chicken tenders and fries are super spicy but they don't say they are when you scan the menu on the table. Disappointed as I am allergic to spices. Could not eat and threw money away on they're awful food.

had these last Wednesday.. the food was great except for the half kilo ribs. i can’t eat it.. I find it too dry.. hard to chew.. bought everything back home.. love the fries with lots of tomato ketchup and mustard.. just missing a dash of tabasco for some hint of spicy bite - my secret sauce, the best for hot chips.. the burger is an 8 out of 10. the burger patty isn’t too bad but find the burger a bit dry.

  • Food Junkie

Whoever was managing the sports bar last night needs to find a new job. One of the biggest nights in recent memory (Ash Barty in the final of the Aus open) was destroyed by a DJ cranking out 80s rock music for 4 people as loud as can be, while 1000 people were trying to watch the tennis. No one could hear a thing, not ever the victory speech. Out of touch with why people were there to spend their money.

Possibly the worst bar in the world. Very over crowded is acceptable but the biggest fail is the toilets. Two sets of large toilets service this area and on 13 August BOTH were closed and in a vile state. I couldnt publish images. If you cant clean then close the bar. Unacceptable. I sought assistance and was lead hundreds of metres away to suitable...clean...facilities.

Went for the grilled lobster special today for a birthday lunch . Seemed quite reasonable for $30...until I tasted it. Dry and chewy. Overdone. Served with a handful of chips and salad with no dressing. I suppose it must be hard to get it right when you're serving literally thousands of lobsters per day but nevertheless I expected better even for $30. Very disappointed.

  • Hannah Warran

Came on a Thursday night for the $30 lobster deal. Lobster meat was more generous than I expected, cooked perfectly and can’t wait to go back! Highly recommended but only available on Thursday and Sunday. Also ordered the soft shell crab special, was great. Service was good, only down side was the venue is quite loud but I guess to be expected in a sports bar.

  • Manuel Liardo

Apparently the blonde girl on the food service is very unpolite and rude. I never had problems with the staff, but she told me to move from the way, and to ask at cashier any question.. unfortunately was a long queue, and she was no busy at all.( She said I don't care)!! I got long experience in hospitality, and she is inappropriate. 20/05 7:30 p.m.

My go to place to watch a big fight, whether it be UFC or boxing. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. Big screens all around, plenty of beer options on tap. Also love the gesture of providing free Mount Franklin bottled water to the crowd. My only criticism would be when be fights are on, would love to see more chairs available.

  • Tania Rauhihi

I thought sports bars play most premiership games union, such as Super Rugby, just because it’s 2 x NZ teams playing? Clearly netball and softball replays from weeks ago are more important - with not even one person watching it and multiple requests from patrons, clearly you dont want the business , drinks else where I say!

  • Rose Jason

Completely disappointed with the hard, over cooked lobster. Fair enough it was only $30 for their March special but 3 of us ordered it and it was all cooked the same. The butter and garlic sauce was soaked up and it was tasteless and horrible. We were all very very sad that a proper chef wasn't called to cook the lobster.

  • Aidan Smith (aids)

Go here to watch boxing and UFC. The ambiance is nice and while the beer selection seems limited, it's got all the essentials such as Hanhs Superdry. Food is okay and typical pub grub but service here is always done with a smile. My only feedback is that there needs to be more seats set up with popular events like UFC.

  • Matt S

Great spot to spend a relaxing few hours. Great food and service with restaurants, entertainment , games and more. Ordered 300 GM steak at the sports bar for lunch ( see photos ) . Love this environment. Often go there for a break when visiting Sydney Darling Harbour. Highly recommend. More

I believe the management changed they use to be good but now you can eat but on their choices if you ask for extra spicy sauce they don't give you. Also very dirty forks and knives, you need to clean your table and the workers are rude and unprofessional. I don't recommend this place.

  • MC Alex

Big screens and comfortable seating.. Good place to enjoy big sporting events.. Restaurant next to the area has only basic pub food and better to have more options. If anybody wants to have something other than usual pub food then long way to other side and then long wait there.

  • Richard Plumridge

Great place to watch sports, plenty of staff in the bar so didn't wait long to get served. The foods ok just standard pub grub would be better if served on plated rather than a cardboard box.

This place is a sports bar of epic proportions! Excellent seating, state of the art A/V, awesome restaurant and staff make it the place to go see your favourite sporting events, with friends and family! The Godfather burger is an awesome feast available on the menu :)

  • Chris Smith

Great sports bar. Plenty of seating with heaps of screens, good bar and food. Air conditioning is great to escape summer heat. I had the chicken wings small serve of 6 and I didn’t know if they would be enough but it was a big serving and I could just finish it.

  • Tristan Phipps

Located inside the casino. This bar is rocking a whopping great television plus side screens for all the other sporting action. Happy hour is a bonus for beers and there are hot bar snacks available. A good place to watch the footie and neck a pint or two.

  • Daniel Melo

ON the 27 oh July during the match between Mexico-Swedan. They give us the headphones to hear the match. It was impossible to hear our as they increase the volume from the other screen. Really desapointed. As a most of the crowd was Mexican

  • Laura Lucia

Poor meat quality, unfriendly cashier, nice waiter service. During COVID times I was hoping to find this place a bit more organised, but they don’t even know how to manage the table service through scan and order code. A bit disappointed :(

  • Beau Brennan

Great sports bar with a smokers terrace nearby. The burgers are pretty tasty, reasonably priced and filling. Beer is served out of plastic cups, which is a pity, surely the punters deserve to be treated as adults and served beer in glasses.

  • Daniel C

If your after a great atmosphere and can't get to the game pull up a seat in the casino and order a meal. Very loud, busy, crowded but only adds to the atmosphere. Meals are very affordable, $20-$30 and quite large so you won't go hungry

  • Jane D

Fast Service! Lobster was a tad tough and the salad was a little wilted! Probably wouldn’t eat again as the portion size was quite small and the lobster didn’t really have much flavour. Dish available until the end of March!

  • Mary Dollins

Usually showing whatever sports event you're needing to watch. Food always sounds good but is not very good in reality. Super Bowl was packed and fun, most other times it's super chill. Drink selection is just ok.

  • MAjid Arammanesh

It was the worst burger I have ever tried. Burger was completely raw. I took it back. They didn't even said sorry. Didn't offer to give me another one or return my money. Never going back there. Awful experience.

  • Shania

Never disappoints! The food here is amazing, worth every cent. It is worth it and the staff are great as well. Our favourite place for our once a month food safari treat. Love it! Can’t wait for next month ❤️

  • Johnson Huynh

Great sports bar with cheap feed and beers. I had the chicken burger and chips for $15. Chips were great and burgers were tasty! Also great chill environment to watch sports and socialise with some mates.

  • Damien Marquez

Only had coffee whilst catching up on the F1 German grand prix on one of the big screens. You can request a headset in exchange for your driver's licence so you hear wants on the other screens.

  • Melanie Joy

A little pricy but food is good and they have $12 grand nachos on tuesday's if I recall correctly. The burger that I ordered had unique a Asian spin to it, or that's what I tasted at least...

  • Teutonic1301 LNWR

Ambience is good. Screens are seriously fading. Bar service waiters more interested in talking to bar staff than serving drinks to waiting tables, there are allot of dry tables!!!!

  • June Lau

Huge serving and yummy food! At the fuel, order anything and you don't be disappointed! If you love to watch sports with a drink and simple yummy food, this is the place to go!

We had a great time watching the Matildas in the World Cup at the Sports Bar. The atmosphere is amazing and they went all out with an emcee, face painting and prizes.
