"Incredible station worked in 1885 with great Victorian-time engineering the staff have pride in their legacy station as it is in every case flawlessly clean anyway the entirety of their great endeavors have been fixed by Sydney Trains for not introducing any CCTV cameras to cover the Trafalgar Street side of the Platform 3 station building which is completely concealed in assembled blemish spray painting as the remainder of the station is secured by various cameras and these pieces of the station are by and large spray painting free"
"It is unbelievably mind-boggling that, as with most recent Transport for NSW initiatives, more money and effort was poured into pointless livery touch-ups, repainting, and superficial signage replacements than into making this high-traffic station more accessible for families and the less mobile"
"This is a great train station, it survived the rolling upgrades that is sweeping across major / ran down stations in Sydney"
"People who works on weekends doesn't exist for this station and this service"
"With travel restrictions easing, you should plan ahead, allow extra journey time and stay safe this Queen’s Birthday long weekend if you are planning to travel in NSW"

It is unbelievably mind-boggling that, as with most recent Transport for NSW initiatives, more money and effort was poured into pointless livery touch-ups, repainting, and superficial signage replacements than into making this high-traffic station more accessible for families and the less mobile. The staff at this station are, on the other hand, exceedingly helpful and friendly.
This is a great train station, it survived the rolling upgrades that is sweeping across major / ran down stations in Sydney. So it retained it's period charm. Not a lot of train stop here, but it is almost a good experience just to sit here in it's period setting and hear the trains rolling by. If you have some time to kill, make this a tourist stop.
People who works on weekends doesn't exist for this station and this service. Always canceling services or maybe you can lose a train because it arrive 3 mins before scheduled and the next is coming in 40 min for unknown reasons. Even during the week is difficult to planificate because the train never arrive as it is scheduled.
With travel restrictions easing, you should plan ahead, allow extra journey time and stay safe this Queen’s Birthday long weekend if you are planning to travel in NSW. The long weekend is an opportunity for people to get away with family and friends, but the safety of the community must come first.
Decent selection of greasy food over the road. Taint from the deep fryers whofting over the platforms often makes it irresistible to avoid the lure of temptation. Great place to indulge in some wing dings or a chicko roll prior to continuing your journey.
Station officer James was very helpful in showing me how to use my Opal card properly. I am new to this and he put my mind at ease when I was having trouble scanning it properly. All in time to catch the train. Thanks heaps James, he deserves a promotion.
Stanmore station has an old fashioned look to it with the way it has been designed. It's one of the only stations I can think of that still has the waiting areas which were quite common back in the old days.
Toilets never open :( not great when sometimes you're waiting for a train for a very long time due to lack of service on weekends.
Love the vibe of this station but just wish there was a lift for people with disabilities and mums with prams
Platform 1 is rarely used. Platform 2 guess to the city and 3 goes west.
Platform signage could be better. I waited in the wrong platform :(
Probably in my top 15 favourite stations in Sydney.
Very convenient. Often has trains. Would recommend.
Just love Stanmore station.
