The worst service you can expect. Do not deal with this dealership!!!! I got a Jeep Grand Cherokee from these guys and traded in my vehicle. They were very persuasive to get me to accept their deal, promised to pay me $4k for my vehicle (blue book value $6k), extremely arrogant owner Nick came out to close the deal, I ended up getting $2400 for my car. I spent hours there and ended up giving up my car for the low price and getting a lease from this place. Huge mistake! Servicing the car was a big pain, very long lines. The worst part was that I couldn't return the vehicle back to the dealership at the end of lease. I've had a few days left on my lease end and I phoned the dealership several times to confirm that I can return the vehicle on Dec 23, day before Christmas. I have received confirmation from the dealership that they are open until 3PM that day from several people and that they would accept the vehicle and ground it. My lease end was Dec 25th. When I arrived at 12PM at the dealership, the salesperson promised to ground my car after we look over another potential lease. I was not satisfied with their deal and decided not to get another lease from them. That is then I was informed that they cannot ground my vehicle because of the holiday. The owner, Nick was extremely rude, hot tempered and told me that he would ground the vehicle today only if I'm walking out with another lease right now! Nick basically kicked me out of the place in an extremely arrogant and rude manner, and he is the owner! You get a good picture of the management of the place! If you are looking for good service or at the very least decent human relations, do not lease or buy with this dealership.

worst experience and a waist of time after i picked a car the salesman Claude asked me for my licence insurance and bankcard etc to start the paper work.. the finance guy David said they need a specific amount down due to my credit which wasn't a problem because i was prepared.. before tellin me or showing me on paper what my car payments or anything was going to be they swiped my card took the money and said theyll call me in a couple days they have to run my stuff though different banks to see who offers a better deal..i was stuck on stupid scratching my head asking them well aren't you suppose to run it before you take my down payment? they said no this is there procedure i said ok 4 days passed no word i called several times to speak with David the receptionists all told me that hes in but isnt answering his line i went to the dealership to find out whats going on when i got there i was pissed and aggravated at this point but kept my cool David told i need to put down more money i payed $5000 down hoping to get a decent car payment now your telling me you need $10.000 down? wtf i said forget it and demanded a refund i was refunded my money and got a receipt i know my bank and depend on who the merchant is in this case Star i can either get it back into your account 5-7 business days after a week pasted i checked my account and didnt see the money so i called my bank and they told me the day after the refund was posted Star canceled the refund and the reason for that was because the amount refunded doesn't match.. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM!!!

I went there for a service for replacing the tail lights on my 2013 BRZ due to moisture got in there( It's a factory defect). I happened to see the mechanic in the parking lot before I entered the office and I showed him the tail lights. He spontaneously said " Yeah yeah, those high SUV bump into the tail light and caused a leak and water gets in there." I was like " but the rear bumper and trunk has zero sign of scuff of scratch mark." He said," It's by a high SUV". FYI my tail lights are 100 % new with no sign of scratches at all, so he's saying the SUV bump into the tailight and cracked them and leave no sign of trace, he's a true physicist. He said it will cause me money to replace them. ( He didn't even open the trunk to look at the inner side of tail lights)I was like, " No, that doesn't make sense at all". Then he told me to speak to the service manager. I asked him to show me the cracks on the taillights which he had nothing to say. After he examined the tail lights he said he will replace both for free. ( He didn't need to open the trunk either).. That's not a honest business practice there. That mechanic thought I'm one of those house wife that doesn't know anything about cars and tried to play this game. Service manager also told me he may not have the tail light in stock so it will take long, thank god I expect to drop off the car so that couldn't bother me. I went there because it's close to my house, otherwise I will avoid going to it for service as much as I can.

Chris L. was a pleasure to work with in finding a fine work van. I originally came in looking for a base model Caravan and we went into the negotiation process, which was very fair. Chris worked with me to get a good trade in value for my 16 year old truck! But right when we were ready to sign I changed my mind and decided to get a newer model that was fully loaded. Chris made me an excellent deal on the loaded 2016 Caravan GT, where I didnt feel bad for going over budget slightly. He got me a great value for my dollar. Also, their finnancing dept is excellent, Matt made it easy! So a month later the Caravan broke down due to transmission fluid being low. I had the van towed in to the dealer. The van was repaired in one day for no charge. Chris and the Star Dealership stand by their warranty! There was no hassle or them trying to make unnecessary mark ups. I am glad that I made my purchase with them...the van runs great and I feel even better knowing that my dealer is honorable and takes care of their customer. My special thanks to Chris and Darryl from the service department...I will recommend Star to family and friends, and would definitely buy another vehicle from them. Thank you!

All dealerships inside NYC have space constraints - understandably. But STAR is in probably the worst location and has the worst facilities I've seen of any NYC Chrysler dealer. They sell new Chrysler/Jeeps and Dodges in the same building, used Chryslers/ Jeeps And Dodges AND repair Chryslers/Jeeps and Dodges in a small space. To make things worse, the space that should be used to sell used cars is occupied by a FIAT dealer that rarely sees business and could be better served on Hillside Avenue. To make matters even worse, there's no space for consumer parking and the adjacent parking is bus stops or metered parking. I got a time-out ticket before. The staff isn't well-trained or highly knowledgable of the product or inventory and they don't offer loaner cars - which means any repair you need will leave you sans-car for a while. Maybe even a day or three. I prefer to buy and have my cars repaired in Long Island where the facilities are better and loaners are understood to be a necessary compliment.

Mr.Christopher Lewis you are an awesome salesman,talk about making a customer happy beyond a doubt, you did an amazing job assisting me in getting my new Jeep. I was given options on how to get my truck but most important I got to choose how much my down payment and monthly payments was, and yes I chose the lowest downpayment and the lowest car payments offered by his amazing team manager. I was absolutely satisfied with this overall experience, never thought buying a vehicle is this much easy and fun, no stress at all it was like I made my own offer.To you Mr.Christopher D. Went in to trade up on an SUV, and came out satisfied.. They had they vehicle they advertised, it had all the features they promised, and they also honored the price.. We weren't able to come to a deal on the trade-in, but no points against them for that.. They were fair, very personable and very helpful.. Special thanks to the Sales Rep Leon for helping me throughout.. And to the Finance department for getting me a great rate, and the service guys for giving me the true condition of the car.. This is my second vehicle from Star, and I will definitely be returning for all of our car needs.. Honesty, and fairness, with a healthy amount of friendliness.. I shopped around for 2 months to find the jeep I wanted. Went to 5 different dealerships all were the same barely wanted to help me unless I was willing to settle on something from there stock only. Finally ended up at Star jeep I dealt with Nick the sales manager what a pleasure it was he helped me from start to finish. Never had a problem every question I asked he was able to answer right away. I rarely say this but this is true that it was a wonderful dealership to deal with and when my lease is up I plan on returning for a new one. I will also be recommending them to my friends and family. Thank you Nick see you in 2 years for my next one.

I have been trying to contact the sales manager for a week plus to buy a vehicle they have. I have called every day and spoke to different sales rep and office members on a Jeep Rubicon. A price was given to me and I agree to purchase, just need to speak to the manager to get a few details worked out. I went to my bank and got a pre approval letter and they sold the vehicle to someone else and never returned my calls. Wow.. what a group! I can list names of everyone I contacted, but does it matter. I was told they sold the Jeep for $1500 more than what was offered to me. So this company doesn't care about customers, Just money.. never again!!

It was a horrible dealer and terrible experience. At first, they tried to give you a nice price, but they push you to pick up the car. They even cant wait until weekend. Also they do terrible job on financing to get you pay more. Even though it is 0 percent financing. Moreover, make sure they will give your registration in hand. since mine was lost in mail and i got a ticket because of registration expired. Also when i was waiting the bill from the bank, all of a sudden, the dealer call me to ask me to pay the first month installment to them. When i told him to fax over the bill, he said he doesnt has it. WEIRD. Please avoid this dealer.

Any other day I would say this service department is good, not today. I've been here from minutes to 8am and just witnessed someone who was on line behind me get his car serviced before mine because he was chatting up the service advisor about the need for a wheel chair and a ramp. So miraculously his car was serviced prior to mine...."accidentally the service documents were shuffled out of order". And then she wants to get loud as I'm explaining where she went wrong. On the weekend they are short staffed....so here you're limited to incompetent staff. I'll be reverting back to Garden City location!

My experience with my salesperson was great , he took the time and had patience with me. But when it came to deliver the vehicle the salesperson was away but the gentleman that assisted did not care brushed out so quick , received my money and said your done. No explanation of vehicle. No setting up bluetooth for me , I thought it was the law to be hands free. He was arrogant obnoxious and issued I feel wrong vehicle. My Jeep Wrangler states tubular side steps I did not get that. I was also promised a few oil changes. The salesperson is phenomenon but the Manager (southasian guy) nasty.

Sales person Jean Brutus is a Great guy very helpful and patient with helping me with the paper work on my new "Jeep" and the new manager Andrew Bowns is a pretty cool guy also he gave me an excellent deal on my purchase, Matter a fact I can say all the staff that I dealt with today were friendly and nice to deal with to Stacy Lall who set up my appointment to the mechanic that was walking through the lot that I asked a few questions too. No one pressured me to buy anything and that was pretty Refreshing & relaxing.

Worst place ever I went on an interview here in the rain nobody was there at all next thing you know some random lady calls me last minute when I'm already at the interview place saying they are cancelling the interview NO excuse NO nothing!!! the interview was at 11:15am they called 11:13am how trashy wasted a lot of money just to get there I wouldn't recommend going the place looks trashy also they will waste your time! I thought i was going to be treated fairly and relied on salesperson LUTHER, as i am an educated consumer and had already made a deal with another dealer. However i did not get what i paid for, and it was nowhere close to what i agreed too. It was a lower model for approx same price. I would just warn anyone buying a vehicle to ensure you go to a truecar dealer and ensure everything that is stated by salesperson is put into the contract.

Just came to Star Auto to purchase our vehicle. Mr. Green was the sales person to attend to us. He was very very courteous. Even brought my husband and I an umbrella because it began pouring on us while we were checking out the vehicle. Very nice, young man. Any friends and family looking to buy a vehicle, this is the man too see. Very kind and very courteous. So happy I had the pleasure to meet him and do business with him.

They are the worst. Liars and theifs. I was told to come back 6 months after I purchased a used Durango, and the interest rate would be lowered. When I went back I was told the Salesperson I dealt with commited suicide. NO ONE COULD HELP ME. I further found out that the dealer routinely adds points on the loans so that they get an extra kick back. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALER.

If i could give Queens Star less than 1 i would. I purchased a jeep grand Cherokee for 20k, second day i drove the car an engine problem came up. After a week part of the engine was gone. They made me spent 5 days without the car. When i asked for my money back, they refused to do so. They are misleading people, and selling the used cars without checking them

OK, these guys literally suck. Why? Because I gave them deposit but couldnt get it back. They refused to give my my deposit and everyday they said come tomorrow. So please be aware that these guys are not even professionals. I called the police so the could help me out with them, and they tald me that this dealership always has such problems. Be aware.

I wouldn't come here because it's a wonderful place to be. I would only come due to convenience and even that would sometimes stop me. There's was only one good experience out of 3 which was good. The bad experience came from this one sales asscoaite which was lazy, slow and extremely rude. Wouldn't even bother trying to look up a part for me.

The service department is top notch the guys are all trained really well I had a technician name Big Rob working on my vehicle the guy was really professional quick and efficient probably the best tech they have there in my opinion ask for him when you go there he will have you in and out!!
