Sales will be your friend until you have a problem as with most traders. My Pathfinder had a hole in the coolant bottle rendering it unusable without causing serious damage to the engine until it was fixed. Upon phoning them I was told someone would call back the next day which they didn't. I was on the road and had to get the issue fixed so I sent an email advising I would do so and send them an invoice. The next day I got a phone call from 'the boss' and he agreed that if I send him the invoice they would reimburse. Of course after sending the invoice and chasing it up 3 times with no response I am out of pocket for the repair still and the matter has gone to Fair Trading NSW. By all means take a chance if you think there is nothing wrong with the car but don't let talk of trader warranty (or even 3 year warranty which was offered as part of the deal and never delivered) persuade you.

Hi I bought a 2007 Subaru Sports model from Starline and had to drive it 660km the next day back to the New England area. The car dealt beautifully when climbing the Barrington tops. I also had no problem in the three hours of Sydney traffic that I had to negotiate before getting onto Thunderbolts way. Eddie was very honest and what was advertised is what I bought. I am having some minor work done like the left hand window electronics needs to be looked at - things you would expect in a 16 year old car. I would recommend purchasing a vehicle from Starline. Proved a good find for me

Do not trust this guy. Sold me a lemon. Said he was selling the car for a his 'father in law' so it was off the books, no warranty. First red flag. Car was all nice and shiny but engine light came on. He said it was only the o2 sensor and he reset it and it didn't come back up and said the sensor plays up sometimes. 2nd red flag. Car was fine for a few weeks and the light came back on. But of course no warranty. Found out it wasn't the o2 sensor but a cylinder misfire issue. Not a cheap fix as well.

I recently purchased a 2004 Holden Cruze from Starline Autos. The process was very easy and Eddie was very helpful. Within 3 weeks the battery died. I contacted Eddie and he gave me a replacement so that I did not have to purchase another one. I was very impressed by his willingness to help me. My experience has been nothing but positive and am surprised by some of the bad reviews, but they seem to be for the previous management, not the current owner.

Very pleasant experience from the very first time I contacted about a car. Honest, fair and helpful. Quality cars priced well! I'd highly recommend. It is unfortunate that the business has been left with some of the reviews here but under new management, it is very much the opposite. Have personally purchased a car here a while back which was a lot cheaper than anywhere else, it did have a minor issue which was covered at his expense shortly after the purchase. So all in all I saved a good thousand on the price of the car I wanted and got the minor issue fixed very quickly after I discovered it. The Owner was very easy to deal with right through.

We brought our daughters first car from Eddie at Starline Autos in August 2021 during the Covid lockdown. This was the first time we have brought a car without physically seeing it or driving it. Honest and reliable in dealings, car was what was promised, i viewed the car online and then flew to Sydney to view it, Eddie was very helpful, replacing a front Tyre and getting a roadworthy certificate for me, i purchased the car and drove it back to the Gold Coast.. Very happy , would recommend him again.

Sales man very friendly until there was a problem wrong with the car. Called the manager several times and he only replied "yea yea will fix send me invoice." Well guess what, he didn't bother to do anything. Instead he blocked my phone number. Highly recommend going else where to buy a car.

Bought a good little Suzuki Ignis. The shop closed on a Sunday afternoon, however, the owner was willing to stick around for over an hour past closing time to let me take a look at the car. Was honest and reasonable, and didn't place too much pressure in the negotiations.

Mediocre car dealer. They have a few good cars but they might not have log books and full service history so doing a pre purchase mechanic might be worthwhile. Personally I wasn't convinced so didn't make any purchase.
