Last night at 19:19 we placed an online order for the wacky Wednesday deal at your branch here in Gordon's Bay. I arrived at around 7:45 I arrived to pick up my order and was advised that my order had not yet been processed and had to wait, I only received my order at 20:16, 16 minutes after the branch had closed. This was a total of 57 minutes wait for "fast food". Regardless. I got home which is a 2 minute drive away to realize that the burgers I had ordered had little to no sauce on them and the extra cheese I had ordered was no where to be seen. I called the branch and spoke to Vinolia who apologized and said that when the customer chooses no garnish on the burger the amount of sause is reduced.. The problem is that there was basically no sauce on the burgers anyway.. She completely ignored the part about the cheese and said that we will receive 10% which is a total of R6 off of our NEXT order. Nothing at all to fix the current order. She then said that she would have the owner contact us and the call went dead. I found this approach incredibly cold and dismissive of the incident. After having to wait 3 minutes shorty of an hour for 2 burgers that were completely dry and difficult to eat and being dismissed by the staff withing the branch, we will no longer as a family support your branch. We are still waiting to be contacted by the owner.

Update: 01-12-2021 Don’t be fooled by all these responses from Steers below complaints stating they want to fix the problem, I’ve sent them the email as requested and they have not responded, they just type these comments to appear as though they care about the customer Did not have a great experience yesterday ordering the wacky Wednesday online deal from this store. I ordered the online deal around 7:30pm, got a call to say the driver is running late by around 8:30, then at 9pm, when I was ready for bed, I get a call from the store that I would need to come and collect the order myself as the driver couldn’t deliver, not just that, but they were out of chips too (my order included 2 large chips for which they gave me ONE burger to replace this) all very inconvenient and I feel I was short changed with that. I had to drive to collect my cold burgers from the store in the rain, not happy! Update, sent a email as they requested me to do below, no response

Wow thank you for fresh and hot and very nice burgers and chips. I think by far you are the best and juat to give you a thumbs up job very nicely done. The staff was super friendly my table was clean and the whole take away was super clean. I have a thing for allways looking to see if i can see aomething out of place but no everthing was perfect. What a disaster!!! we always use to phone in and then collect. Now twice over the weekend our order was not sent through. On enquiry, i was told that they have opened a "call center" and that the order that i phone in does not come directly to them anymore. What is the use of phoning in then??? the call center does not know what they are doing!!!! The first time i could understand, but the second time when i got there to pick up and was told that it didn't go through again, i was furious. I don't know who the owner is, but i suggest you look into it. I am not the only one that this has happened to!!!! In todays times we live in, there is no way i will go in and wait for my food, come on, its covid man, get your call center in order!!!!

Drove to this Steers all the way from Strand because of load shedding. Arrived at 21:40 with customers still inside waiting for their food, only to be told they closed at 21: 00 already. The website clearly states they only close at 22:00. I was refused service, impolite and rude staff, staff laughing from the kitchen because no one could answer me and ignored me when I showed them the website with the closing time for 10pm. Very disappointing and costing the owner money. I will never buy from Steers again!!! We very helped next door by the friendliest staff at the chicken place Zebro's who were happy to help us and made the best chicken burgers ever!

They are the only steers that give a correct amount of spice packets for your chips without having to beg for any extra. The chips were cooked perfectly. The resturant was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Hands down best steers in the basin.

Disappointed. Waited long on my order which was a cheese burger and chips. When I finally received it, my milkshake was not ice creamy as it stood long while waiting on on the rest of my order. My chips was half cooked and some chips were still hard. When I opened my burger it was an original burger and not a cheese one. I am not usually picky but just very annoyed with this. It’s lots of money and I expect to at least get the right order even if it takes longer.

On Tuesday evening we placed an phone order about 19h45 aand collected just after 20h15...arriving home the order was missing g some items...could not solve the problem that night due to loadsheding and no cellphone signals...the next afternoon Tertius...one of the managers addressed my complaint out and replaced the entire order for Free...thank you very much for your great service...all handled very well...thank you

Ordered online for collection in a hour , just to arrive to being told they don't have bacon and watch as they mumbled around realizing they haven't even started making the order, thinking I could not understand them speaking Xhosa under their breath . 25mins later a scooter arrived with bacon, after a total of 45mins after I arrived, it was finally done.. It was cold and not chicken as I ordered specifically. Highly disappointed in the service I received.

Wacky Wednesday is always our option, but we may get it twice a year at most. This branch is busy and small but still runs very efficiently. The place is clean. Staff is well trained, and customers are flocking in, and everyone seems happy.

Wednesday Burger Deal – 2 Wacky Burgers for Only R54 90

I would like to convey my extrrme dissapointment in steers Gordon's bay, i went there with my 6 year old daughter and the music was blasting so loud clients had to scream to be heard, the music playing was not appropriate for children either, men walking around threatening people with guns. Steers is suppose to be family place but it was so loud my child complained that her ears hurt. Really not inappropriate behaviour

It's the worse Steers branch I have ever visited and will definitely not go there again. For the 3 time now they are not ready to serve. Either short staff or staff came in late and the oil is not warm enough. Today's excuse was that they are waiting for stock to arrive. Why do you not just close your doors? It's not COVID killing businesses, it's businesses using the COVID pandemic as excuse for poor performance

Bad service They were under staff,you had to wait an hour for your order and the staff didn't even apologize for the bad service.The food was also bad because the chips was very dry. Now i want to know how can you only have 3 staff members in your bussiness on a long weekend because everybody is getting takeaways for they kids. I will never go to that steers and not even advice my friends to support them

Had to wait for almost an hour for our food and there were only 5 customers including me in the shop. Ordered 3 meals only to realize at home they gave us 1 sachet BBQ sauce to share between the three of us. And the you pay R16 extra for a meal instead of a burger and for that you get 11 chips and no sauce Don't know who manage this business but he/she needs to up there game

After not being able to have a Steers Cheese Burger and Chips for a long time due to lockdown it was fabulous to be able to order the meal again. Spoilt my mom for Mother's Day. Steers Gordons Bay and Mr D Food delivery services was impressive. Food made, collected and delivered in 17 mins, well done to both Steers and Mr D Food, your service was excellent.

I live in gordans bay so I’ve being here many times, each time it is clear they can’t handle the amount of order they receive you will wait in que just to order then waiting time which as I’m currently sitting here she’s telling customers 40 minutes!!!! Iv being waiting for about 16 so far, so if you want to spend your life waiting for your food come here

It is very sad to write this review - but I waisted R140. Friendly staff, but the meat absolutely very bad! I ordered a rack BQ rib, it was the size of a kids meal and the meat tasted bad - R99 for chips...... The cheese burger patty was rubber cold and couldn't chew it...... Unfortunately it's the second time and I decided to review!

This place is NOT HALAAL. To all the muslims in the helderberg area, we've been tricked on first few occasions regarding the halaal certificate, everytime we came there they'd tell us they're getting new certificate, however this same excuse was being told for a few years - like really!!!! Be honest with your clients. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

What a horrible service. It took long for my order to come. The shop was full of smoke. Lady was keep on saying 'let them wait this burgers don't cook themselves. Look at their faces as if their dying." Maybe she thought I don't understand Zulu. They mocking song laughing at customers. It was not professional. The Steers is a joke.

The lady had a cold literally about two weeks ago. She blew her nose wiped her hands of her jeans. Proceeded to pack the food in the bag. How gross can you possibly be? Yuck I'm literally done with steers. I was so disgusted I couldn't believe it.

We often order from this Steers. Our only frustration is that they often run out of stock like bread rolls and rave burgers. There delivery service is great and very quick. I rarely change a review however after my experience this weekend I have no choice. This Steers needs to improve before my review will go up again.

Really not impressed with the service at this store. Today was the 2nd time in 3 weeks where they don't have cheese sauce for cheesy chips with jalapeno's. But I guess having stock on hand is secondary to the staff having to actually put away their cellphones to serving a customer.

One of my favourite fast food places. Wacky Wednesday is the best, you get 2 burgers for R60. Cheese is an optional extra for R10.00. Always juicy and delicious. Friendly staff and the waiting period is not too long.

Only reason I'm giving this Steers a 1 star is because I cannot give them a zero star rating. Last night we waited 40 minutes for our order only to get soggy oily chips and cold burgers. Terrible service and will never order from this Steers again.

I was very impressed with the excellent and friendly service I received from the gentleman who took my order and to the very friendly owner who made me feel very welcome and who made my daughter very happy with her milkshake. Thank you very much.

Steers Prince Burger

Not a great experience. Firstly, the music was extremely loud. Secondly, the 600g ribbs had basically no meat on. I paid R216.00 for a stack of bones. Everyone is complaining about business, but service in general is very poor.

Burgers are great and beef juicy. But the chips are horrendous and taste like nothing. Just water. So only 4 stars for me. Not bad but the chips are worth removing a star.

Friendly but slow service, burgers are normally good. Lately they have been worse. Dry / old buns, dry patties. Not great guys. Edit: I have submitted my feedback using the link you provided.

Unless it's a major coincidence it seems their card machine never works. This is the third time ive been here in a few months and their card machine is offline. This will be my last attempt.

I was just at Gordons bay steers and the service was out of this world they even gave me large chips for free thank you to the manager and the cashier they were very much help full and fast
