We had an unforgivably bad check in experience. I went to the facility two weeks in advance & spoke at length with Carlos about the move in date and how we had a very tight timeline that day as a family member was flying in for half a day to help with the move. These details were also repeated in writing twice by email. Day of, no one is there. Stated office hours say they're open, little clock says they're open at 9, but it's 9:30 and no one is there. We call, we sit on hold for 15 minutes before before a wildly disinterested person gave us someone else's phone number & hung up on me. We kept calling around and spoke to a very dismissive district manager, and finally got a hold of Marie who sent Renee to help us. Renee was very kind and helpful and really saved the day. I received a poorly written email from Carlos over a day later saying "it was his day off" despite knowing full well that there would be customers waiting to check in the moment the place opened on the date repeated verbally and in writing. The lack of forethought nearly cost us hundreds in truck rentals and rebooked flights. I may or may not get the promised $25 credit, less than half a months rent, for our troubles. Never got an apology, just treated like a nuisance by everyone except for Renee, who is the only reason this review is getting a second star. Carlos also mentioned having to recently increase security measures due to issues with the homeless population in the area. Carlos also lied repeatedly to my face about pricing. It's really quite pathetic when someone lies to your face and lies more when they get caught out. Own up to your mistakes. Stop lying to customers. I wouldn't recommend a place that treats customers like this.

The unit itself is very nice and clean. Going through the process online was very simple and straightforward. However, I did have issues with my check-in process. When I arrived to check-in, Carlos (who was very friendly) took me to my unit. However, the unit I was assigned already had a lock on it. He double checked the computer and then went inside the unit and confirmed that someone was indeed already occupying it. "No big deal. I'll just switch you to another unit." he said. Cool. After switching me to another unit he said the system charges a $10 + tax fee to switch, but that he'd get his manager to waive the fee. Long story short, after 2 weeks and multiple calls to the office the fee was still on my account, and I was beginning to receive notices that my account was past due. Ultimately, I decided to just pay it because it was no longer worth the hassle to resolve. Despite the low cost associated with this error, it is frustrating that I had to bear the responsibility of it even though this was due to no fault of my own. It also raises concerns on what I can expect if I have any other issues moving forward. Hopefully, management can streamline this process to make it less stressful overall.

I've been storing my stuff at this location since it opened it's doors last year and I have had no issues. The units are clean as well as the rest of the facility. And everyone that I have had an interaction with that works there has always been extremely helpful, informative, friendly and they genuinely care to know that you are having a good experience as a renter. The main manager lady knows everybody by name or at least it seems like it and that for me is what makes me stay, the fact that she always inquires as to how your day has been and how your family is doing is something not any other storage unit managers have ever cared to know about. It's a real down home hospitable vibe. And they always have some great deals on their units!

So this place has internal units, meaning that there is no drive up access, possing a little more difficulty transporting larger objects around corners. However, I'm sure this leads to much better security. My issue was getting my motorcycle into a unit as my original reservation had corners too sharp for me to be able to get past. However, Larry was a massive help and why im leaving a 5-star review. With exceptional service, he took the time to walk the facility and show me the map of what's available, finding me the cheapest unit that would fit my needs. While I did end up spending more than expected, I left feeling very happy with the experience.

Stopped in today to see what types of units they had available as my current storage provider, down the street, has continued to increase my rent for a 5x10 unit in the top floor. They are offering online deals for new customers but will not negotiate my rent or a discount for loyalty (2 years!) A very pleasant man by the name of Larry helped me out - I received the typical 1$ for the first month deal and am getting a 10x7.5 unit on the entry level for substantially less. I’m sure it will increase over time but at least in the interim, I’ll save some money and time not taking the elevator.

I went to StorQuest without an appointment but the manager Vivian was more than willing to help me. The storage facility is new, clean, modern and has so many options to choose from. She helped me pick out the best storage which was priced lower than most other storage companies in the Seattle area. The unit was also on special so I paid only 1$ for the first month's rent. Vivian was friendly and knowledgeable of StorQuest which she demonstrated while training Larry who was also very nice. Good job and thanks to you both.

Wow, I am blown away. I've had many storage units in different cities and different states. This is by far the best storage facility I have ever encountered - in every way. First: customer service... Tracy was so helpful and friendly! Second: this location has only been open for nine months so everything is brand new and immaculately clean. They've thought through everything. It is a true pleasure visiting my storage unit and I really mean that. This will forever be my go to in Seattle!!

I canceled my storage unit before the deadline for the next billing cycle. I vacated, left unlocked, and the unit completely empty. I was still charged (vacating after quick price increases - buyer beware) I have made 6 attempts to process the refund without a resolution. Apparently now "waiting on the district manager". Nightmare of a process to cancel. The storage units themselves are nice and have no complaints there.

Carlos has done an amazing job here helping us out to get our storage unit issues resolved. He has taken the extra time to explain our contract and been very diligent about the details so we get the best deal. When we were stressed against the deadlines he helped us to find a solution and I am so grateful for his excellent customer service!!!

TracyJoe is AMAZING!!! This was my first time dealing with a storage facility and she made it a spectacular experience!!! She was friendly and welcoming and walked me through ever single detail! Even showed me how to use the lock on the unit and everything. I felt so comfortable that by the end it felt like an extension of my home!

There’s people selling stolen car parts out of one the first floor units. The guy that works here with the tattoos is also in on the scam. This place is not secure at all either, very easily broken into. Bathroom is always locked or broken which is probably why I’ve seen feces in the halls on more than one occasion

Great experience renting a unit here today. Larry did an awesome job showing us the 3 different sizes we were considering.. and he was so patient as we were walking around in them waving our arms around lol. Paperwork was organized and painless. Prices here, in our experience, are good. Looks clean and well run!

I have had nothing but problems getting into my shed here. I even called and made sure that everything would be accessible And they made it to where there was no way possible to get my bike from storage. Then when I called they did not help at all and had a horrible attitude

My family stored some stuff here after they downsized. The space was well secured, the price was great, and bringing stuff in and out is never a pain! I always hope Nick is there when I stop in. He’s always such a huge help if I need any assistance!

The intro walk through and sign up promotions helped us move forward with ease. Larry, the interim office manager, was thorough and patient with our questions and the registration process. Location is also great for us West Seattle-lites.

Carlos assisted me with getting a storage unit today. He is personable and a joy to work with. I like this location (West Marginal) because it’s tucked away but still easy to get to and the prices were better than the competition.
