I know that this is a long post, but I am just so grateful the staff here that I when I found this page I had to say something. If I could give ten stars I would!! My Chihuahua/Yorkie mix became very ill due to a calcium deficiency five days after giving birth to six boys (one stillborn). I was 24 and had never hand raised a puppy let alone FIVE. The emergency vet I took my Chorkie to recommended Sundance (over the vet that sent me to them in the first place). Dr. McEachern did Margo's fallow up, I explained the whole situation and in the following weeks if there was ever a question or concern (and I mean even late at night when they are open for emergency services) that I had with the puppies or Margo I only called Sundance. I'm not sure I would have been able to save them if not for the team there. At seven weeks old I did loose one of the puppies; I live in Goodyear about 30-45 min. away from SD and in this emergency situation I choose to go to a vet down the street from me. At this point I had lived and breathed these puppies for nearly two months (they feed every hour, 24 hours a day) I don't know if you know what goes into hand raising dogs but when you are responsible for saving their lives, that creates a very strong bond and a lot of love. Needles to say I kept the other four boys (yes with six dogs I am a crazy dog lady, I have excepted this let's move on). They just celebrated their second birthday and I am not sure they would be here without the assistance of Dr. McEachern and the rest of the Staff at SD. They are the only place I will take my babies to.

I am writing this review to tell you that my cat Sourpatch had to be put to sleep today. The ER vets at Blue Pearl took care of her Tuesday when she had a diabetic stroke, as well as today with what was at least a 45 min seizure. I say 45 min because I actually have no idea when it started. Blue Pearl told me that her insulin was way too high and asked me what I was doing. I let them know that I was following your vet's directions. She said that the way you were testing her and the increases were insane, in that short amount of time. That there was no way to really know how she was doing without properly timed testing. And increasing her dose every two weeks as a result, based on poorly timed tests is what caused her stroke on Tuesday and the horrible seizure today. I would also like you to know that when I called your office around noon today saying my cat was having a seizure, I was offered an appt today at 330. Seriously.? What has happened to my poor cat is horrid and apparently totally avoidable . But instead I was treated like a number on the phone with no care or concern about the situation and no compassion. I'm also out about $1000 this week, if you'd like to reimburse me THAT would be awesome. I would like your vet's to be better schooled in how to treat cats with diabetes and how to treat the pet parents. I lost my cat today because of their lack of how to deal with her illness. I unfortunately have a list of complaints. The Dr is not good at discussion or asking any questions. My cat came in with a rash, she treated for ring worm. It turned out to be an allergic reaction. She also had an unlicensed tech working there that handled and prepped my cat for undergoing surgery. I was told that that tech was fired. But it goes to show you the lack of investigative questioning this women is capable of. The surgery was to remove several teeth- and instead of removing them they just cut the top of her teeth off. Which after several weeks the roots grew over and my cat stopped eating and screamed in pain. I had to spend several thousand dollars at a new vet to DIG out the teeth! I have spoken with the vet and she refused to listen to my complaints. She only wanted to defend her decisions and not let me speak. I was given a very small portion of the money I spent there back. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone. My cat went through hell for months after seeing her. I would have paid any amount of money to not have had to deal with all of the misery she put my cat through. Please, please go somewhere else.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. I brought my dog in who has severe allergy problems. The veterinarian just spoke all these long weird medical terms to sound professional and she seemed very hard to understand and unknowledgeable. I have taken my dog to a vet before and I knew what was wrong I just wanted to know how I could help her. If there was a cure for my poor dog. She also did unnessessary things like search for mites... I would know if my dog had that. It was her allergies that was causing the problem, and recommended unnessessary items to help my dog. Like seriously 3 different allergy medications??? Why not just 1? or even 2? Plus they wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount of money just to look at her and tell me she could be allergic to anything... Well I already knew that. I refused to pay for something I already knew. I would never go to this place again. The only one who really gave me good advice was there receptionist. Anyhow I wouldn't waste your time here.

Extremely unprofessional! Brought my dog in for her spay appointment and had an absolute horrible experience that I just left. I was expecting to pay what I was originally quoted in the pre-op appointment. Once there, they stated that my dog needed about six vaccines and they also wanted to do other things that were unnecessary. I stated that my dog was up-to-date on all her vaccines and that we were not interested in anything other than her spay. They denied the spay of my dog because they couldn’t get her records. It was a complete waste of time and money. I payed over $50 for her pre-op for absolutely nothing. Not once did they mentioned I needed to bring her shot records, not once did they mentioned they wanted to add on other things. I took time off work for nothing. Will definitely not be coming here again

Took my shih Tzu there several times for the same issue and was given different diagnosis. Of course each visit we were charged full price. She was diagnosed with pyometria (from another vet) and when I tried to get her surgery scheduled with Sundance, the amount was extraordinary (2k- 3k)!!!! They were cold, with no empathy, and about the money. I called the vet that diagnosed her originally and they set me up to have her surgery the very next day. Not only have they only seen her once, but they sounded concerned for her and made us feel like they understood the feelings were having because my dog is part of my family. Not only that , but we were charged 1/3 of what Sundance wanted, because it was about the care and health of my pet, not just the money. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Just got turned away with my sick dog who won't eat or drink. Lady at the front desk said the doctor was out because her house was on fire, and legally there was nothing her or the 2 other people could do but chit chat with some lady lady picking up her cat. I questioned her why are they still open and another lady spoke up "so people can pick up their pets". the front desk lady did hand me a flyer showing me other clinics, but my only transportation at the moment is bicycle... So basically no one looked at my dog since everyone there except the doctor is legally unable to anything. Update: 3.5 hrs later, he finally passed, I'm guessing from dehydration. the Doc in Laveen was away at a conference & Santis was apparently full...

A few days ago I took my dog because he was sick, it turns out he had parvo and the vet and the vet techs were very informative and very nice. The treatment plan for my dog required an iv with multiple injections and the the vet tech who helped me (Susan) explained how to do it very well and she even said that if we had trouble doing that the following days we could go back and she would help. We went back the next day because we had never put an iv in a dog before, or anyone for the matter. Susan helped us and explained again our dogs treatment plan. They have great service and they really do care for pets. I’m glad to say my dog is now doing much better. Thank you so much Sundance vet clinic for the great service.

I've been to this place twice first time I took my cat to help stitches after a cat fight. They we're absolutely wonderful got her stitched up. Few years later (recently) I took my PUG to be looked at. She has something in her eye that concerned me. Now when I went in to take my pug the doctor it was a close to a 10min assessment (very quick to me). After the doctor wasn't sure what it could be if it was something to worry about or not and refered me to an eye doctor. Now I understand doctors can't hold all information but I basically paid $49 just to be told to see someone else because. I will say the people are very nice. Maybe look into a specialist first before you take your best the the Animal Hospital.

Highly reccomend Sundance! They scheduled an appt for my fur baby pretty promptly when other vets were booked out a few weeks. Appt was at 2:30pm and we were in and out in an hour. Awesome social distancing, they come out to the car to sign paperwork, to pick up your pets, payment and everything. Vet called me every step of the way to let me know what's going on, treatment plan and next steps so there were no surprises. They treated my fur babies ear infection, trimmed ear hair and gave me medication for home as well. Reasonable prices for everything included. I will definitely be back and think I've found a new vet home for my fur babies! Thanks for the amazing service and care Sundance! ❤

I been there 2 times and I guess it depends on who is working at the time, first time was excellent they took my pup in almost immediately after I got there and got him doing better. Two days later he was having complications again and the lady I spoke to on the phone was not going to have her staff look at him because she said its another fee to see him even though it was less than 72 hrs. So I paid and didn't get the same results I got the first time. The staff that came to the car to get him wasn't as happy and cheerful. They seemed almost bothered. But nevertheless he ended up being fine. Price wise they are cheaper that some pet clinics i called.

My husband took our 5 month puppy and he was diagnosed with Parvo, the treatment was going to cost over $400.00 and my husband didn't have the money with him so I left work to bring the money to him. It took me like 2 hours to get to that side of town and go get the money but the staff there didn't do anything until I came with the money, not even hydrate our puppy. Once I paid then they put the IV and show us how to administer it, all done in a hurry because it was past 5:30 and they close at 6:00. Our puppy passed the next day by noon. Not going back there, looking for a vet that cares about the pets, not just about the money.

This office was suggested by a friend who took her rescue animals there. We love this office. My Sammy has received excellent care there for everything from an abscess to neuter to nail trimming. I've always been very pleased. Be sure to ask if there are any specials running for things like spay/neuter or gland expression/nail trims. I love that this office works with rescues to help save lives. I'll be taking all my animals to Sundance Vet Hospital as long as I live in this area, and that is saying something since there are probably 20 vet offices between my home in Goodyear and this office in Tolleson. :)

Just moving to the area , Dr. Coles was close so I took Ziggy there for a cyst on his hind . I was so happy to see Ziggy so comfortable in the office and even smiled for his pic ! Normally turns his head away ...Dogs can sense great people , and they were all great to Ziggy and me . I have 2 more rescues that will be seen by Sundance Animal Hospital ... in my experience, it doesn't get much better than this ! Thank you Dr Lori ! And thank you for your great staff ! Oh Ziggy had the cyst removed , healed in days, dealing with enlArged liver, hoping he will be ok, Dr L is totally on it !

This was by far the WORSE service I've ever received in my life. The Vet(old lady) was very unprofessional. I could hear her talking smack about me from the other room to her vet tech.When i asked for an estimate on a surgery i heard the vet say that she's not giving me an estimate until i do an exam. I would never go back here again nor would i recommend this place to friends or family. I drove out of my way to VCA on 67th and Indian School after my visit here and my service there was 10000x better. Everyone was friendly and they made me feel good about the outcome of my dogs health.

Dr. Coles is the most compassionate vet ever. She loves every animal that is brought to her practice. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Our little Corgi is tough but sensitive, and has allergies to certain vaccines. He gets terribly excited, yet no one bats an eye if he pees on their shoe or throws up on the floor. We always receive a phone call from Dr. Coles after an appointment to make sure the little pupper is doing well. They truly care for him, and ensure everything they do is to keep him comfortable and healthy. Many thanks to this team!

I would give this 0 stars if I could. This Hospital is really bad. They took my dog to the "treatment" area so they could look at her teeth and I heard her scream and cry for them just to come inside and tell me that a tooth has to come out. I then took her to and AZ Pet vet clinic called Arrow Animal hospital and they did everything in front of me and were actually able to look in her mouth without her crying and tell me that she has dental disease. I highly adivse that no one takes their babies to Sundance animal clinic they don't know what their doing.

Well I took my dog bear there said had allergies said I do pills that take awhile to work or the more money work faster 40.00 more and I could come back and get the pills script to by the pills also talk to them the guy that prep your dog for doctor and said I need the script says I get back with you been now 2 weeks you I like to find a vets that gets it right and not guess because dog still scratches that why I wanted script for pill that expensive shots didn't help much gave 2 week test didn't work

I didn't get the veterinarian's name but she was very knowledgeable, direct, and showed my boxer lots of affection. I can see why some reviewers were turned off by the older lady at the front desk but aside from her somewhat grouchy undertones, I am satisfied with my first visit. The vet gave my dog some antibiotic drops for his itchy ear as she gave him his physical and did not charge me for them. Prices are reasonable and I will be returning for another check up for two small bumps on his sides.

I recently moved to the area and had to find a new veterinarian. After having your veterinarian as your stepmother, finding someone you trust as much as family was very important to me. I was able to get an apartment same day, the staff wash caring and very friendly and most importantly, I felt like they genuinely cared about Penelope and how she was feeling! I would recommend Dr. Kathryn Linden and her staff to anyone with family members of the animal kind!

My friend recommended this location for my fur baby . I got an appointment right away, the staff was very friendly and informative. They treated her for allergies and were spot on . Our Daisy is a happy puppy and doing very well since her visit . I appreciate the vet took this approach too see if it the allergy treatments worked before we tried other treatments and was very affordable! Thank you all Before and after treatments. My 13 year-old Havanese, named Chloé, had to have 13 teeth pulled. I was devastated, because she is my Baby. Dr. Coles and her Staff did an excellent job. Chloé came through the surgery without any problems, and is back to eating her hard dog food (and anything else she is spoiled with) just like Dr. Coles said she would be. I would recommend Dr. Coles and her Staff to anyone looking for a caring and capable Doctor for their 4-legged child.

I had a visit a couple days ago, I've been here twice before and had great service all the way around, but this visit the vet was not good. She spent all of 3 minutes in the room with me after his exam and as she blurted info at me, she maybe looked me in the eye twice and was out before I knew it. Didn't ask if I had questions or concerns. The front desk receptionist and the vet tech were amazing, but that's were the great service ended.

This place is great. The staff tries really hard to make my dog feel comfortable and happy. The prices are reasonable and the location is always very clean. The reason to go here is for Dr. Cole's! She is wonderful with animals and humans. She explains everything and answers all of your questions. There was even a time that I mentioned something in passing and she remembered and gave me a list of products to try.

They wanted to amputate my cats tail for 4000 dollars they said it was broken.... when we took him to another vet they said they saw no signs of a break and it looked like a scratch got infected cleaned the area up gave some antibiotics and the cat is 100% now.... very disappointed if you love your animals go elsewhere they almost talked us into cutting of the cats tail for no reason but to collect money....

I have been taking my two cats and one dog to Sundance since 2011. I have always been happy with the care received. Recently, the clinic was taken over by a new doctor, Dr. Coles, and she has been wonderful. My senior cat was ill and she was able to quickly diagnose the problem and went above and beyond to start treatment quickly and to thoroughly explain everything to me. They really care about my animals!

These people are wonderful. A few months back, I had found a kitten, less than 2 hours old, in my driveway when I came home from work. The mother was gone and didn't come back. Not sure what to do, I called Sundace and they said to stop by. Since I had decided to keep him, they cleaned him up, gave him a quick check out and didn't charge me. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience.

The vet tech forgot two vital things during my visit. She forgot she had already given my dog a heart worm test leaving me wondering whether it was completed or not. She then ushered us out of the examination room where I had to remind her again that she hadn't yet given my dog a steroid shot. The staff is very friendly and nice, but the care is concerning as a dog owner and lover.

You can end up waiting a long time sometimes but they really do care about the animals here. Sucks when the ac in your car doesn't work, though, & you have to wait an hour for them to come out & take your pet back since their office is still closed to people... wish there was an online check-in option so I can at least wait at home till the wait time is within 10-15mins.

Great staff. I never feel judged or mistreated. In other places sometimes you can tell if the vet or someone is having a bad day. Not here! Everyone is always super friendly. I bring my cats and puppy. One of my cats hates if other people touch her other than us, they were so quick and gentle,that the examination was done before she even realized it. Great service!

First time at Sundance and I was very happy that they took us in the same day. My dog got hurt and had no idea how. Took her in, I was very nervous because they took her in and we stay in the car (Covid and social distancing) We communicate phones. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Price wise, it was way cheaper than my regular vet. I totally recommend them.

Dr. Cole exceeded all of our expectations! We took our American Bully and she was great with her and made our pup feel comfortable! She was able to diagnosis the issue and we were on our way quickly! Dr. Cole is very professional and has a very clean environment throughout the place. I highly recommend taking your animals to this animal lover!

I am absolutely happy with my visit today 9-25-21. All staff was friendly! My puppy was seen by the Vet in a timely manner. Small clean establishment. Vet answered all my questions and I left feeling great knowing my puppy is and will be in good hands with them! Thank you all for all you do! p.s. they're allowing customers inside now.

They were so friendly and understanding of my cats when they got sick. They gave me a treatment plan and helped me decide what was best to prepare for the next steps if they did not get better. Thankfully my cats recovered. They even called me for a week after to check on them. I will continue to return. I highly recommend this facility!

Very fast to attend people, and very professional. Brittany was the tech that helped me and she was very clear and concise with what was happening to my dog. The doctor who checked out my dog was very helpful and offered plenty of treatment options to his condition. I will definitely be going back to them for more check ups for my dog!

I took my dog plenty of times for me to spend hundreds of dollars and not even be able to properly evaluate my dog. Overcharged me and couldn’t even help and kept prescribing useless medication. Went to another vet and they were able to actually help. Do not recommend unless you’re willing to spend hundreds without receiving any help.

The vet is lovely and a pleasure to work with. The staff however, has gone downhill in the past 2 years. I've taken my cat for clippings and on occasion they've missed a nail, or tried to bs me that it grows faster than the rest in 2 months! Only go here if your pet needs to see the doctor. Go somewhere else if you just need the tech.

I brought my Ginger in and they told me she had tongue cancer....They wouldn't let me in.I guess because of Co id.This was9 mos.ago.Shes getting old and has scar tissue on tongue from hit by var or board as a pjp.tjats what Vet told be 10 yrs.ago there at Sundance.She is goin on 13 in a couple mos.and is still maintaining....So???

Love the staff and care my dogs receive here. Just about anything that can happen to a dog has happened to my 2 pups, and this vet has been great to work with. I have one dog that needs a shot every 5 weeks and they are the first vet to only charge for the medication instead of charging for an office visit every time.

This place is awesome...bring your fur babies ....I'm a truck owner operator and my dog slipped on the steps of the truck and lacerated his leg deep about 2 inches long... This place was swamped and completely booked up by they had me bring him in and fixed him right up...hero's..all...thank you and God bless you....

The staff were super nice, really caring and loving to my dogs (they got spayed recently here). They gave me tons of info and answered all of my questions patiently. My dogs did great and are fully healed and happy again. I'm lucky they are close to my house, I'll be taking my dogs here from now on. …

Every time I take my babies here they take such good care and are so thorough with me and answer all my questions. They took my puppy in last minute after we were turned away from two emergency animal hospitals and that meant the world to me when I thought my little guy was gonna lose his eye.

I am fostering an abandoned kitten and she stopped eating. I was able to get squeezed in the next day (fyi...not always possible) and the service was impeccable! The vet herself called me back today to check up on her and she is doing great! I highly recommend this place! ❤

Our poor kitty caught a summer cold and we have just loved the quality and loving care they provide our fur babies, so we took her in. The doctor was new but oh so caring and gentle, seeing our girl is shy. We received antibiotics and eye drops and our baby is doing great.

Yeah, front desk lady seemed as tho she didnt want me to go there cause they got enough money! And i told her it was a cat,......she said, "whats your dogs name?" Pay attension, Lady! Just like the other dr that used to be there... wont go back!!

I highly recommend taking your Fur babies here! They were friendly, and took us back to a room right away. Doctor did not push anything on me, more than I wanted to do. She was great at recommending what she thought I should do. Great place❤️

I didn't care for the lady at the desk. She is a bit rude. But she has good days...the vet as helpful and sweet. They are very good with my moms dog and I plan on taking my dog there for his care as soon as he is due for something.

The staff really cares for your pets. The doctor and nurse really took the time and made sure to let us know our pup (who recently got a nasty bite) is doing really well. They made sure he was cleaned up and it was really quick!

Amazing everyone was super nice i took my bunny there on Friday to see doctor johnson shes super cool and so was her vet assistant no idea what her name was because i forgot b u t shes still super cool we had matching hair!!

Dr. Melhus and staff were so kind, compassionate, and generous with our dog Rudy. I cannot speak more highly of the care we received, and I am a veterinarian myself. I would recommend this clinic without reservation.

I brought my 7yr old great dane there for the first time today and I am so pleased with the dr and the techs. They are very knowledgeable about giant breeds and you can be sure I will continue to bring my baby there.

Unfortunately, we had to put a family pet down and the staff made the process so much easier: giving us time to say goodbye, a fur keepsake, and box for burial. Everyone was understanding and friendly.

I got my puppy vaccinated every 3 weeks until she was 16 weeks at Sundance and now my puppy is 7 months old and has Parvo! Just an FYI if your looking into vaccinating your loved ones at this location.

New staff new doctor. Services not the way they used to be. Rude receptionist!!!! Only 1 tech a available. They forgot to log appointment then they booked us 30 min later. Ridiculous!!!!!’

Very caring, saved a very sick dobie pup's life. When you have 6 dogs, you can spot a great vet. They've been our vet for over 10 years. Even treated a sick turtle once. He lived.

Dr. Coles and her staff take care of both our dog and cat. They are wonderful! It is obvious that they love the animals they see and genuinely care about the families of the pets.

We went there for our pitbull for 5 years when we lived across the street. They were always a pleasure to do business with and they took care of our dog every time with no issues.

Took in 2 stray dogs. They were happy to scan them for chips and give them a treat. They took photos and posted them online. Staff was vary friendly and helpful.

Our vet is always pleasant and let me video her instructions / demonstration on how to apply a topical medicine in my cat's ear. Very helpful and caring.
